Stampin’ Up! Winter Dreams SDSP & Festive Cheer Bundle for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday & WELCOME to our hop! We have a sketch challenge today that I’ve taken some liberties to create. I hope you like the result 😀 If you’ve come from the fabulous & creative Tara, I’m glad you stopped by. If you hopped right in here – yay! Enjoy the hop.

Stampin' Up! Winter Dreams SDSP & Festive Cheer card front

Gosh this is gorgeous flocked paper! I love the feel AND the images AND the flocking. My card base is a standard A2 with the fold on the left in Thick Basic White. The various layers of the SDSP are 4 x 5 1/4, 4 x 2 1/2, & 3 x 4. Thin strips of Basic White are behind the 4 x 2 1/2 panel; 3 1/8 x 4 1/8 Basic White is attached to the 3 x 4 and attached with dimensionals. The ornaments are stamped and WOW! Metallic gold heat embossed on Basic White scraps and also attached with dimensionals. The hangars & bows for the ornaments are die cut from Gold Foil and attached with liquid glue. The sentiment is stamped with Shaded Spruce ink on Basic White 2 x 5/8 and attached with dimensionals. The ornaments are also stamped with ink… stamped off Cherry Cobbler and full strength Golden Glow. Everything is from the phenomenal Festive Cheer stamp set and dies.

For the inside, I started by stamping the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel. I then stamped the ornaments with VersaMark and sprinkled them with Wow! Metallic embossing powder, gold, and heat set. I stamped the ‘strings’ in Shaded Spruce and the bows in Cherry Cobbler.

For the envelope, more of the Winter Dream SDSP on the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front I stamped the ornament with VersaMark, sprinkled it with Wow! Metallic embossing powder in gold and heat set. The string & bow are stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. These images are from the Festive Cheer stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! NEW Poetic Petals Reveal

Good morning folks – it’s Sunday August 30 – and almost time for the new ONLINE EXCLUSIVES and Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog. There are some very pretty items in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES and in this catalog & I’m sharing this new bundle and a Specialty DSP called Radiant Foils.

Stampin' Up! Poetic Petals Slimline card front

Each of the white floral squares on this card is an individual die. The square behind each flower is cut with another die in the Poetic Petals Dies. Gorgeous, right? The papers in the Radiant Foils pack are a Pecan Pie background and on this card each flower uses a different paper in the pack.

The layers on this card are Basic Black 8 1/2 x 7 scored at 3 1/2 to create a slimline card and show off all three floral dies; Pecan Pie 8 3/8 x 3 3/8; White Willow 8 1/8 x 3 1/8; Basic Black 8 x 3. The die cuts were adhered together then added to the card front with dimensionals.

The inside of the card is White Willow (8 x 3) stamped with the Poetic Petals stamp set in Pecan Pie ink. This is layered on Pecan Pie 8 1/8 x 3 1/8.

I didn’t want to use a standard business envelope for this pretty card – so I made my own 😀 See photos below for dimensions & cutting.

Stampin’ Up! Tile Garden Sneak Peek with Rtisan Sketched Garden for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, good morning! We have a fun sketch challenge today and i’m so glad you have joined us! You may have come from the fabulous Tara or hopped right in nhere. Haowever you arrived, I hope you’ll check out what everyone has created.

Our challenge today, as you can see is to create using Black & White plus one other color. I chose to work with Crisp Cantaloupe for this card & the wonderful Artisan Sketched Garden DSP from the May-Aug Catalog. The other big item is the NEW Tile Garden bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog that goes live Sep. 1! The dies in this bundle are all squares and haqve the same pattern as the Spotlight on Nature Dies, which are circles. Very cool!

The Artisan Sketched Garden DSP is all black & white – the whole package of papers. And of course it can be used as is – or colored. As you can see, I colored the main front panel using the Crisp Cantaloup Shimmer brush. While the shiny doesn’t show in the photo, it does in real life. 😀 After coloring I added this to a Basic Black 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. To that I added a 3/4 x 4 3/4 polka dot strip to the much more white panel 2 x 4 1/4, & attached those to the card front. Next I die cut the white piece using the NEW Tile Garden Dies & added a Crisp Cantaloupe behind it 2 7/8 x 2 7/8. These were added to the card front with dimensionals. I already had this vase of flowers sitting on my desk that I had fussy cut after coloring with Stampin’ Blends: Crisp Cantaloup. Granny Apple Green & Pool Party. I added this to the front again with dimensionals then three Glossy Garden Dots (also from the new Sep-Dec 2026 catalog.)

For the inside of the card I used the NEW Tile Garden stamp set for the sentiment (stamped in Memento ink) and the floral image (stamped in Granny Apple Green and Crisp Cantaloupe (this one stamped off once) This is such a sweet delicate flower. I’m loving the images in this set.

The envelope… more of the Tile Garden stamp set used on the front, stamping the leaves min Granny Apple Green and the flowers in stamped off Crisp Cantaloupe. The flap has yet another panel of the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP adhered & trimmed to fit.

I made another card while I was at it – this time making an easel card with Strawberry Slush, the Everyday Arches Dies, Tile Garden stamp set for the sentiment and tiny flowers, more Artisan Sketched Garden DSP (for the black & white plus theme) and a couple of retired products 🥴 The point is, products can coordinate! It’s the Stampin’ Up! way!!!

Welcome to today’s hop! We have a sketch challenge today and it was really hard for me to decide just what to showcase – so many new products I want to share. I had recently played with this DSP & well, it tugged at me.

This DSP is just so pretty! I love the colors, flowers (sunflowers & more) and checks – so perfectly fall. These are from a suite of products on page ___ in the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog. The other product in the suite that I used are the Radiant Gems (there are 3). The sentiment is stamped in Pecan Pie on Very Vanilla then fussy cut w/ my paper snips. The backgrounds for all the designer series papers is Cajun Craze and the card base is Pecan Pie. Measurements may be found at the end of this post.

And here’s the inside… look at that beautiful sunflower – that’s from the coordinating stamp set called Radiant Sunflowers – all from the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog. The stamp set has coordinating dies but I did not use them on this card. The layers are Cajun Craze & Very Vanilla.

For the envelope… Here’s that beautiful sunflower again – on the envelope front. I stamped it in Pecan Pie then used the Golden Glow Shimmer Brush on the petals & light Pecan Pie for the center – same as the sunflower on the inside of the card.

This could so easily be a masculine card even though there are flowers. The colors just fit! It could be sympathy or it could be birthday – just add the appropriate sentiment. 😀

Stampin’ Up! Moonlit Flora for a Book Fold

Good morning, good morning. The Moonlit Flora DSP has been super popular & I’m using it today to make a book fold card. That luna moth is in it’s glory & the focal point for this card.

Measurements:

  • Card base: Secret Sea 11 x 4 1/4, score @ 5 1/2 & 4 1/2
  • Layer: Peaceful Pine 7/8 x 4 1/8; 4 3/8 x 4 1/8; inside 4 3/8 x 4 1/8
  • DSP: Moonlit Flora 3/4 x 4; 4 1/4 x 4; inside – 4 1/4 x 4 1/8; flap – 2 1/4 x 6
  • Basic White: inside – 4 1/4 x 4

When cutting the DSP, it’s helpful to have the ‘scene’ go all the way across., therefore the initial cut of the DSP should be 5 x 4, then trim left end to 3/4 leaving 4 1/4 for the right side. I added the 1/4″ Satin Ribbon in Secret Sea & Gold (available Sep to customers!) for focus and prior to adding the inside layer of DSP. The sentiment is from the Fern & Flora stamp set with the border in Secret Sea & the sentiment in Peaceful Pine. It was die cut with the coordinating Fern & Flora Dies and added with dimensionals. The extra elements are the Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems in gold – and there are five of them.

The inside… DSP on the left is from Moonlit Flora & just adds a nice touch to this card. On the right, the Basic White panel is with the fern leaf three times without re-inking – in Peaceful Pine. The butterfly is stamped in Secret Sea. Both are from the Fern & Flora stamp set.

For the envelope… more Moonlit Flora DSP on the flap & trimmed to fit. The stamping on the front is in Peaceful Pine – the same fern stamp as on the inside, but this time re-inked each time before stamping again.

Stampin’ Up! Floating Gatefold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning! Today is such a FUN FOLD blog hop 😀, I can’t wait to see what others on the team have created. I have two versions of the floating gatefold and will give you measurements for both. One is made with the Framed Violets bundle and it’s coordinating DSP called Violet Dreams. The other is with a bundle from an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE that is older and just too cute.. Cutest Crew – and Beautiful Ordinary Life 12×12 DSP. You can use so many different papers or bundles for this fun fold.

Dimensions for card #1:

  • Card base: 11 x 5 1/2 scored @ 1 1/4 & 3 3/8 from each end
  • Floating element: 8 x 3 scored @ 1, 2 1/2, 5 1/2 & 7
  • belly band: 10 x 3/4
  • DSP:
    • inside center of card base: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
    • inside panels on either side of center piece: (2) 2 x 5 3/8
    • front: (2) 1 1/8 x 5 3/8
    • front outside: (2) 2 x 5 3/8
    • floating elements pieces: (2) 1 3/8 x 2 7/8
  • Basic White:
    • floating section center: 2 7/8 x 2 7/8
    • back: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
  • Additional pieces for belly band decor

Dimensions for card #2:

  • Card base: 10 x 5 1/2 + 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ score larger section @ 2, 4, & 8; score additional section@ 1/2 on long side. Attach this panel to the main section with the score on the inside of the end. This makes your final card base 12 x 5 1/2 with the scores @ 2, 4, 8 & 10
  • Floating element 8 x 3 1/2 ~ score @ 2 1/2, 5 1/2, 7 & 8
  • Belly band pieces as needed
  • DSP:
    • inside center panel of card base: 3 7/8 x 5 3/8
    • panels on either side of card base: (4) 1 7/8 x 5 3/8 (adhere only the 1st panel on either side of the center piece until after the floating panel is attached)
    • floating panel center: 2 3/4 x 3 1/4
    • belly band 10 x 2 1/2
  • Basic white:
    • floating panel center: 2 1/2 x 3
    • back: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8

Directions for putting this gate fold together…

  • Adhere DSP panels to both the card base & the floating section EXCEPT FOR FRONT PANELS (for card 1, that is the yellow strips/ for card 2 that is the very front panels)
  • Do stamping prior to attaching the Basic White pieces ~ for center panels & back (for writing your stuff!)
  • Burnish all score lines: card base ~ mountain, valley, valley, mountain; floating section ~ mountain, valley, valley, mountain.
  • Centering floating piece top to bottom, add to the last fold on right butting fold of floating section against fold of card base.
  • Do the same on the left side, centering top to bottom.
  • Add final piece of DSP over this attached floating element
  • Wrap belly band around closed card and add glue to each end to attach together. DO NOT LET IT STICK TO THE CARD!!! 😀
  • Decorate belly band

We’re making these two cards in card class today ~ both really quite easy & they give a real bang to the receiver. If you make this Floating gatefold – please share a photo with me!

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Meadow for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

We had quite an unexpected storm Tuesday night – lots of lightening way too close & thunder of course. I love the roll of thunder, but did I mention the lightening was close?! Today is Thursday – Welcome to our hop! We have a color challenge today & I chose to work with the luscious Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP. It’s garden fresh 😀

Stampin' Up! Flowering Meadow card front

The Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP is so wonderful, it deserves to be center stage. I backed it with a panel of Peaceful Pine then added those with dimensionals to the Berry Burst card base. I made a few die cuts for flowers (Basic White, & Berry Burst) then a stem from Peaceful Pine (it’s hard to see!), then stamped flower centers in Daffodil delight & die cut those. Once the centers were on the flowers I used the White Gel Pen to add some dots for texture emphasis. Flowers were added with dimensionals. I tied a double loop bow from Linen thread & added it to the back of the stamped sentiment punched with the triple punch (ink is Berry Burst & from the Flowering Meadow stamp set). The sentiment was also added with dimensionals. Final touch… Charming Shimmer Faceted Gems – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE.

For the inside… the sentiment is again from Flowering Meadow stamp set, stamped in Peaceful Pine on a Basic White panel. The flowers are stamped-off once Berry Burst, flower centers Daffodil Delight – and again using the White Gel Pen to add highlights. The panel was added to Peaceful Pine then attached to the inside of the card.

For the envelope… more of the Velvet Meadow SDSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, a leaf image stamped three times without re-inking.

Stampin’ Up! Festive Cheer Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our hop! It’s Thursday & we have a sketch challenge this week. I’m using a ‘new to me’ stamp bundle called Festive Cheer. I’m loving all the images & dies in the set :O)

My card begins with a Cherry Cobbler card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. Two layers were added: Peaceful Pine & 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery 12×12. I set these aside to do stamping & die cuts using the Festive Cheer bundle from the July ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. Yes, I have begun that Christmas card plunge! Die cuts were made using the Festive Cheer Dies and Velveteen Assortment 12×12 Specialty Paper for two pine fronds; Cherry Cobbler card stock with a backing of Adhesive Sheet for the NOEL; Gold foil for the berries. I stamped the ornament in VersaMark, sprinkled it with WOW! Metallic gold embossing powder & heat set then die cut once cooled. I also die cut from gold foil, the hanger and the ornament top.

The letters NOEL were attached to a Basic White strip that had Peaceful Pine behind it for definition. These we4re added with dimensionals. The pine frond was added with a dimensional at the left end and liquid glue on the stem end. The berries were added with dots of liquid glue. The ornament was added with liquid glue and a mini dimensional at the top.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from Festive Cheer in Peaceful {ine ink, then the ornamets in Cherry Cobbler ink and the ornament top in Pecan Pie ink. This Basic White panel was added to a Peaceful Pine then to the inside of the card. Voila! Ready to send, but of course it is only July!!! In the stack it goes. 😀

Stampin' Up! Festive Cheer card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery attached with Stampin’ Seal to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front the sentiment was stamped three times in Peaceful Pine ink. Interestingly I only used the Festive Cheer bundle for this card – no additional sentiments from another set. So, love that!

Stampin’ Up! Woodland Wishes, July ONLINE EXCLUSIVE

Good Sunday morning! It’s beautiful this morning, a refreshing 67 at 6 AM. So today is… a Christmas card using the very sweet Woodland Wishes stamp set. And if you enjoy coloring as I do, this is a fun stamp set to have in your Christmas stash.

Stampin' Up! Woodland Wishes C'mas Card

I used Memento ink to stamp the image on a Basic White panel and colored with several different Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Pecan Pie, Ivory, Light Pumpkin Pie,Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Dark Cloud Cover, Light Old Olive & Light Mossy Meadow. I also used Shimmer Brush in Golden Glow and Wink of Stella. Once colored this was attached to a Real Red 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. I embossed a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake with the Forever Plaid embossing folder and attached it to the Crumb cake card base (4 1/4 x 11) The stamped images were then added with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Real Redink on a Crumb Cake strip, then again in VersaMark, sprinkled it with Clear embossing powder & heat set.It’s best to use the Stampin’ Positioner for this step! I angled the ends and attached with dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Woodland Wishes inside card

For the inside… I stamped this very cute porcupine in Memento ink & colored him with Stampin’ Blends using Crumb Cake. I stamped the stars also in Memento ink and used the Shimmer Brush in Golden Glow to color them. Theis 3 3/4 x 5 panel of Basic White was attached to Real Red 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 then added to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Woodland Wishes card & envelope

For the envelope, I used the Woodland Wishes to stamp both the flap & the front with images from the Woodland Wishes stamp set – all in Memento ink. I colored them as well: Stampin’ Blends in Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink and the Shimmer Brush inGolden Glow. What a peaceful scene this all creates!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Flight Hot Foils, Card 2

Yep – another hot foils card using the Butterfly Flight Hot Foils Dies. 😀 In my post on 7/9, you say the die cuts made & colored… this time I used the foil left over from the transfer to create this card. Let nothing go to waste is the motto. hee hee. I took a panel of Basic White, Blending Brushes & Pool Party & Granny Apple Green and added color to the card stock panel. I then laid the ‘leftover’ foil on top after strategically adding Stampin’ Seal in various areas. This held the foil in place &allowed the colors to come through where the gold foil was transferred to something else. I used the piece with the die cuts removed, put dimensionals on the back & attached them together. The card base is Pool Party, standard A2 size (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) and the new card front was added with adhesive of choice. Because I had a remaining butterfly I added it as well with two Rhinestone Basic Jewels, then added more of the same to all the butterflies on the card front.

For the inside, I stamped the sweet lily from Lily of the Valley stamp set (yes, it comes with dies!) with Basic Gray ink and colored with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and Shimmer Brush in Barely Blush. The sentiment is from the Lily of the Valley stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. The panel was added to the inside of the card.

For the envelope… the same lily from Lily of the Valley stamp set was stamped on the front in basic Gray ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Granny Apple Green and Shimmer Brush in Barely Blush. The flap got a 2 1/4 x 6 strip of the Valley In Bloom 12×12 DSP added & trimmed to fit. Love, love.
