Stampin’ Up! Artisan Sketched Garden DSP + Framed All Around Sympathy Card

Hello Saturday! We are in full rain for the next 48 hours mode… Maybe I can play in my craft room 😀 or… get some other projects completed. Today I have a sympathy card made with Artisan Sketched Garden and some Stampin’ Blends and oh yes, some Berry Botanical Vellum.

Stampin' Up! Artisan Sketched Garden & Framed All Around Sympathy card front

I began by coloring the pretty floral images on the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP: Peaceful Pine for the leaves, Fresh Freesia & Golden Glow for the flowers. Interesting combination, right? I took my cue for this combination by looking at the Berry Botanical Vellum which has an even larger mix of colors. I backed this with a panel of Golden Glow card stock then wrapped it with 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon in Golden Glow. I took another short length and slipped it under the ribbon & tied a knot. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink on Basic White scrap & fussy cut it & placed it on the front with dimensionals. I cut a piece of the grid vellum from the Berry Botanical Vellum pack & backed it with Fresh Freesia. This was adhered directly to the polka dot pattern of the Artisan Sketched Garden that was already on a Card base of Basic Black.

Stampin' Up! Artisan Sketched Garden & Framed All Around Sympathy card inside

For the inside… I stamped the sentiment using the Framed All Around stamp set & Memento Black ink then stamped the ‘frame’ in two places with Fresh Freesia ink. The Basic White was secured to the card base & the card was complete.

Stampin' Up! Artisan Sketched Garden & Framed All Around sympathy card & envelope

For the envelope… I stamped this leaf image in Memento Black ink & colored the leaves with Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends. On the flap is another of the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP in the polka dot pattern used for the card front. I love how this card turned out, sweet to look at and gentle thoughts. This card goes in the mail today.

Stampin’ Up! W/V Fun Fold with Silly Old Bear

Good morning, good morning! It is a bleak looking day here today – cloudy, overcast, 55 degrees. Of course 2 days ago it was 94! We made this card two weeks ago in card class & I forgot to post it 😖. It is so cute… Silly Old Bear DSP, Hundred Acre Woods embossing Folder & coordinating Sweet Words & Lab els bundle. These are all from the May ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.

Stampin' Up! Silly Old Bear May ONLINE W/V Fun Fold

I used the dies from Sweet Words & Labels to die cut this image straight from the Silly Old Bear DSP. The layer behind the DSP is Golden Glow card stock, one of the new In Colors for 2026-2028. I used Wink of Stella on the Balloon & Hydrangea Hue for stamping the sentiment from Sweet Words & Labels stamp set. Let’s look at the inside of the card so you can see the whole image.

Stampin' Up! Silly Old Bear W/V Fun Fold inside card

The DSP layers here are all from the Silly Old Bear DSP – gorgeous aren’t they? And the card stock layers are Golden Glow. The card base is Very Vanilla and the embossed panel is also Very Vanilla, embossed with Hundred Acre Woods 3D embossing Folder as I mentioned earlier. The images for the V panel were fussy cut from the Silly Old Bear DSP & stamped with the Sweet Words & Labels stamp set: either Golden Glow or Hydrangea Hue.

Directions for a W/V fun fold:

  • The card base is 11 x 5 1/2 scored on the long side @ 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 5 1/4, & 7
  • Card stock layers 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 – cut 4; 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 + embossed panel 3 5/8 x 5 1/8
  • DSP layers 1 3/8 x 5 1/8 – cut 4, 2 different patterns
  • Die cut images from Silly Old Bear DSP using the Sweet Words & Labels Dies; die cut card stock layer for behind each image with next size larger die
  • Embossed the largest panel for the inside back – Hundred Acre Woods EF
  • Adhere Layers together & attach to card base
  • Cut another panel of card stock (here it is Very Vanilla) 6 x 3 & score on long side @ 3″; attache to front panel & last scored panel to create the V – see photo below. Decorate the right panel w/ card stock layer 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 then Very Vanilla layer 2 5/8 x 2 5/8. This last layer is stamped & decorated prior to attaching.
  • Attach die cuts from DSP; add additional fussy cut layer for inside back panel & stamp sentiment in Hydrangea Hue
Stampin' Up! W/V Fun Fold from the top

I love how this card turned out! And it can used for all kinds of reasons. I’m sending this to a friend who needs a little ‘pick me up’.

Stampin’ Up! Waterside Retreat Father’s Day card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday & time for another Blog Hop from this fabulous Krew! We have a sketch challenge today that is so versatile and can be used for lots of cards – birthdays, sympathy, you name it. I chose this Waterside Retreat DSP as this card is for a fisherman for Father’s Day. I think this fits well!

Stampin' Up! Blog logo
Stampin' Up! Blog sketch challenge
Stampin' Up! Waterside Retreat sketch challenge

Here’s what I did to create this card… I first cut a panel of the Waterside Retreat DSP 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 & added a slip margin of Azure Afternoon card stock to the one side. I set this aside and cut a 1 x 5 1/2 piece of the same DSP (it’s the reverse side of the fish images) and added it to the 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Azure Afternoon card base (yep, scored at 4 1/4. I then added the set aside panel. These were all added with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink using the Relaxing Waterside stamp set, on the Azure Afternoon 5/8 x 2 1/2″ strip. I attached this to a Crisp Cantaloupe 3/4 x 2 1/2 strip & slipped a large Linen Thread bow between dimensionals & attached it with a glue dot to the strip. The strip was added to the card front with dimensionals as mentioned. Final touch – 2026-2028 In Color Dots in Crisp Cantaloupe.

Stampin' Up! Waterside Retreat inside card

For the inside… A 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White with a strip of the Waterside Retreat DSP 3/4 x 5 1/4 was then stamped with na sentiment from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink. This was added to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Waterside Retreat card & envelope

For the envelope… a 2 1/4 x 6″ strip of the Waterside Retreat was added to the flapn & trimmed to fit. On the front a simple grass stamped in Old Olive ink three times without re-inking in between. This gives a sense of dimension to the image. Love the simplicity!

Stampin’ Up! Showing Off Velvet Meadows SDSP for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We have a sketch challenge today & I’m showing off a new Specialty Designer Series Paper for it. I’ve created three cards but the first is the first is my favorite. Why is it special – because it has raised areas that feel like velvet!!! Hence the name – Velvet Meadows

Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card front 1

This card began with one of the new IN COLOR card stocks – Peaceful Pine 11 x4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2 (side fold). I used a SDSP layer 4 x 5 1/4 from Velvet Meadows SDSP.. The next layer is another Peaceful Pine with the gorgeous velvet side of the Velvet Meadows SDSP – adhered together & added with dimensionals. I then die cut some of the flowers from the SDSP using the coordinating Flowering Meadows Dies. I fussy cut several leaves: leaves & flowers were added to the card front with dimensionals. Now we have two layers of dimensionals in total. The sentiment is stamped in Berry Burst using the Flowering Meadows stamp set and fussy cut, then added with dimesnionals. Final step – two stunning embellishments: Dreaming Flowers in whiten – yep, from the suite!

Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 1 inside
Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 1 & envelope

For the inside… I stamped this floral image from the Flowering Meadows stamp set in Berry Burst on a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. This was attached to the inside side of the card.

For the envelope… I stamped this same image in Berry Burst on both the flap & the front of the envelope. This just ties everything together making it look so perfect!

Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 2 front
Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow Card 2 inside

My next card is again a card base of Peaceful Pine5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (top fold). I embossed a Basic White panel 4 x 5 14 with the Paradise Garden 3D embossing Folder & attached it to the card front. The next layer is Peaceful Pine with a layer of the Velvet Meadows SDSP & attached with dimensionals. In this suite of products is the Velveteen Assortment Special Paper – this one used is white. I die cut these gorgeous small leaves using the Flowering Meadows Dies. On Basic White I stamped the daisyin Peaceful Pine ink, then die cut the center with the Velveteen Assortment Specialty Paper in White and attached this by adhering the stem with liquid glue & a mini dimensional on the back of the daisy flower.

For the inside, I stamped off the stems & image in Peaceful Pine on the Basic White panel 4 x 5 14 & attached it – no sentiment!

Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 3 front
Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 3 inside

For this last card, I used Berry Burst for the card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 – top fold). I layered this with Velvet Meadows SDSP 4 x 5 1/4. The next is Berry Burst & another of the papers in Velvet Meadows SDSP – I LIKE this contrast! I’ve added no sentiment or any kind of embellishment. The SDSP speaks for itself.

For the inside, I stamped the double flower image in Berry Burst ink on the Basic White panel (5 1/4 x 4) & adhered this to the inside of the card. The sentiment is stamped in Peaceful Pine ink using the Flowering Meadows stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 2 & envelope
Stampin' Up! Velvet Meadow card 3 & envelope

Here are the envelopes for the two additional cards: the left stamped with Peaceful Pine ink: full strength then stamped again & once more without re-inking. This was sone on the envelope front & the flap. The envelope on right is stamped off erry Burst ink and the same double flowers image from Flowering Meadows stamp set.

Now… check out what others on the hop are creating. I had extra fun making cards with the same layout but each with different layers/ embellishments or very simple & just paper, Each is so different from the next, which makes it extra fun. Stampin’ Up! Slider Card Fun Fold with Sneak Peek Products

Good morning! I’m so excited to share this card with you – it’s a beauty, I used some new products that will be coming out in the May-August 2026 Catalog that you can order on May 5.

Stampin' Up! Slider Card fun fold, card front

The card base is Crisp Cantaloupe. Don’t you just love that name of a color? The layers are Peaceful Pine and various papers from the Bloom Boutique Specialty Paper Pack. The flowers & leaves come from a new bundle – Boutique Blossoms and the scalloped die cuts use the Scalloped Blooms bundle. Before I share all the details about how to make this card, let’s see the inside where the slider is.

Stampin' Up! Slider card fun fold inside

More gorgeous paper shown here from the same Bloom Boutique SDSP. And the slider? That’s the sentiment panel – and it slips inside the panel on the right.

So, directions… I chose to do the inside first so let’s start there.

  • The card base is the standard 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored on the long side @ 2 3/4 & 6 3/4. Burnish the score lines as both will fold to the inside.
  • Cut the left DSP panel 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 and adhere
  • Cut the center DSP panel 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 and adhere
  • Fold the last panel inwards with a narrow line of adhesive at just the top & bottom (see photo)
Stampin' Up! Slider card template

Decorate this folded over section with contrasting card stock (Peaceful Pine 1 1/2 x 5 1/4) then an overlay of DSP (1 1/4 x 5)

Creating the Slider for the card:

  • Cut a piece of card stock same color as card base (Crisp Cantaloupe) 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 & score 1/2″ on short side. Burnish & add adhesive to the scored end
  • Add this to the left inside panel even with the DSP & equidistant top to bottom
  • Fold this to the right, add a stamped Basic White piece 3 x 4 to the ‘slider’ front, then slip it into the opening on the right (I stamped the sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink – new In Color! and the flowers in Crisp cantaloupe – also new In Color! The sentiment is from Scalloped Blooms & the flowers are from Boutique Blossoms)

Now let’s decorate the front, which is really only the left panel 😀 Cut a contrasting card stock (Peaceful Pine) 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 and a DSP panel 2 1/4 x 5. Add to card front.

  • Die cut two panels of Scalloped Blooms Dies (Crisp Cantaloupe & Basic White) Stamp the BW piece in Peace Pine ink using a stamp from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set
  • Stamp small flowers in Peaceful Pine ink & the medium flower outline stamp in Crisp Cantaloupe. Stamp the filler stamp for both flowers in Barely Blush ink (another new IN COLOR!) Use the Light Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blend to add color to the leaves of the small flowers. Die cut & set aside.
  • Die cut the small group of leaves (Peaceful Pine)
  • Add each of these die cuts to the die cut scallops and attach to card front.
  • Final touch… add three (3) 2026-2028 In Color Dots

Envelope… Add another piece of the Bloom Boutique SDSP 2 1/4 x 6 to the flap & trim to fit. Stamp the front with flowers from the Bloom Boutique stamp set with Crisp Cantaloupe ink. YAY – this is ready to send to someone special!

Stampin’ Up! Sneaky Peek of the Silly Old Bear Suite & a Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Do you remember the adorable stuffed animals of Winnie the Pooh, Eyeore and Piglet? There are others animals produced as well, but I have to say – I loved these animals and the stories that went with them. So when this suite of products became available to demonstrators, I had this suite at the top of my list.

Welcome to the Happy Inkin ‘ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a sketch challenge today & I chose to play with this Silly Old Bear Suite of products available to customers May 5.

Stampin' Up! Hop Sketch Challenge

Stampin' Up! Silly Old Bear card front

I am really appreciating the new IN COLORS! This card base is Hydrangea Hue 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. I added this awesome picture panel, cut directly from the 12×12 Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper. On the lower part of the card front is this stunning label, die cut from Very Vanilla card stock using the Sweet Words & Labels bundle. The sentiment? from the same stamp set – Sweet Words & Labels – stamped in Crumb Cake ink. The embellishments are Neutral Matte Dots.

Stampin' Up! Silly Old Bear card inside

For the inside of the card I used another sentiment from the Sweet Words & Labels stamp aet, stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla card stock. It was die cut using the Sweet Words & Labels Dies. I adhered it to a the inside of the card after attaching a piece of the Silly Old Bear 12×12 DSP. I then stamped the image of Silly Old Bear & Piglet walking together – using the Sweet Old Friends stamp set. This set also has coordinating dies – and they die cut images straight from the DSP. You are so going to LOVE THIS suite of products. This suite is a May ONLINE EXCLUSIVE and will be available May 5.

Stampin' Up! Silly Old Bear card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the Silly Old Bear DSP on the flap trimmed to fit and for the front, this sweet Pooh Bear & Piglet walking along. I did use Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends to add some shading – and for Piglet a bit of Old Olive for the top he’s wearing. Below is an image of the suite collection – look at those fun dies! Oh my gosh… so much fun! This takes me back to earlier years for sure.

Stampin' Up! Petals of Beauty card front

This card begins with a Petal Pink card base & overlay of Basic White run through the Beautiful Pattern embossing folder.. Next are two strips of the Brushed with Beauty DSP adhered directly to the BW panel. Next a Basic White die cut of several leaves adhered. Leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink & die cut. A single large flower was stamped in Petal Pink ink: outline stamp in full strength and filler in stamped off once Petal Pink. I added the leaves to this piece and attached dimensionals & added these to the front of the card. I also die cut the large flower outline and stamped the center with Early Espresso ink, then attached it just in the center of the die cut – to the flower. Final touches: a double Linen Thread bow and three Pearls of Beauty.

Stampin' Up! Petals of Beauty card inside

For the inside of the card… on a Basic White panel, I stamped the floral outline stamp with cajun Craze ink and the filler in stamped off Petal Pink ink. The center was again stamped with Early Espresso ink. This panel was added to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Lazy Daisy for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to Thursday and the fun Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog hop. We have a sketch challenge today and I’ve turned it sideways, I also think it fits the sketch. .

Stampin' Up! Blog hop group
Stampin' Up! Blog hop sketch
Stampin' Up! Lazy Daisy card front

I’ve been playing a lot with this embossing folder. It’s a new one – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE and I’m loving how beautiful it is. I’ve kept this card really simple to show off the beauty of this embossing folder. The card base is a standard A2 size, 8 1/2 x 5 12 scored at 4 1/4. The embossed layer is 5 x 4 1/4 and is attached to the Thick Basic White base with liquid glue. I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the sentiment on a Basic White piece- from You Are Beautiful stamp set. I die cut this with Nested Essentials Dies – a carry over set into the May-Aug 2026 catalog. I adhered this with dimensionals to the next larger die cut in Smoky Slate. The two were attached directly to the embossed panel. I wanted a bow & decided this 1/” Variegated Trim would do the trick – & attached it with a glue dot. Final step… two 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

Stampin' Up! Lazy Daisy card inside

For the inside I decided to do something I haven’t done in a bit – use my scoring tool to create some lines. I turned the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel to the back and scored three lines. I turned the panel 90 degrees and did the same again. Turning this to the right side, the score lines are raised and just what I wanted. This created a simple & elegant border to the left and bottom. This was attached to the inside of the card and is ready!

Stampin' Up! Lazy Daisy card & envelope

For the envelope… I used another stamp in the You are beautiful stamp set – the large leaf – and Smoky Slate ink to stamp several times on the flap and once on the envelope front. This is such a nice set and I haven’t used it nearly enough!

So here’s my question… do I need the bow? Or, shall I remove it?

Stampin’ Up! Painted Illusions with Pop-Up Cross Card

Good Wednesday… Last week in card class we made this pretty pop-up cross card – perfect for Easter. I used the February POTM (Product of the Month) DSP and Wood Textured 12×12 Specialized Paper. Let’s take a peek.

Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Cross card front

And here’s what it looks like from the top…

Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Cross card, top view

It folds flat to go into the envelope. Directions are simple.

  • Cut card base 8 1/2 x 5 12 & score along long side at 4 1/4 (Lost Lagoon) Burnish
  • Basic White – 5 x 5 1/4, score on short side 1 3/8, 1 7/8, 3 1/8 & 5 3/8. Burnish folds in valley, mountain, mountain, valley – as shown in above photo
  • Basic White – 1 1/4 x 3 1/4 (this is the horizontal strip for the cross)
  • DSP…
    • 1 1/4 x 5 (cut 2) for front outside panels; 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope flap) Painted Illusions 12 x 12
    • 1 x 5 (vertical strip for cross) Wood Textured 12 x 12
    • 1 x 3 (horizontal strip for cross) Wood Textured 12 x 12
  • Stamp & die cut elements are from Delicate Wishes Bundle – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE
    • Die cut leaves from Pretty Peacock using Delicate Wishes dies
    • Stamp floral image from Delicate Wishes stamp set in Memento Black ink & color with Blends: Granny Apple Green & Berry Burst. Die cut with dies from Delicate Wishes dies

Add Painted Illusions panels to the front of the Basic White scored piece. Add the Wood Textured vertical panel to the center of this same Basic White scored piece. Add the Wood Textured horizontal piece to the Basic White horizontal piece and set aside. Add the scored Basic White panel to the card front… left side first creating equal borders on three sides. Now add the right side to the card front, again creating equal borders. Remember – this is a pop-up cross and the only two sections being attached to the card front are the two panels with added DSP. Now add the horizontal piece creating the cross by flattening the pop-up to the right and attaching the horizontal panel so it is even with the card base on the right. Now fold to the left and the horizontal panel should also be at the fold edge.

Add the die cut leaves directly to the cross, then attach the floral die cut with dimensionals. I did not want to add a sentiment or embellishments as I really like the simplicity as shown.

Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Cross card inside

For the inside of the card I stamped the grass image from Delicate Wishes stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink to the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel, then attached it to the inside of the card. For the envelope… no picture of that BTW! … I stamped the same grass image to the front of the envelope in Granny Apple Green ink and covered the flap in the same Patterned Illusions DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Gallery Off-Set Gatefold

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I have a fun set of cards to share today. And yes, you heard that right – a ‘set’ of cards. I needed several for folks that need a pick-me-up, a thinking of you if they are feeling kind of down. I enjoy the off-set gatefold more than the regular – I have no idea why. At any rate… I was playing with the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP and got on a roll. Here are the four cards.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Gallery off-set gatefold, card 3
Stampin' Up! Beautiful Gallery off-set gatefold, card 4

Didn’t these turn out beautifully- all because of the DSP! Each card is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 1 1/4 & 5 1/2. After that it simply depends on how you burnish the fold as to which direction it becomes. 😀 Card 2 is off-set to the right while the other three are off-set to the left. And either way works.

Card 1 sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink on Basic White & uses the Grow with Love stamp set & die cut with Scalloped Wishes Dies. Embellishments are Pearls of Beauty.

Cards 2 & 3 are both stamped in Secret Sea ink using the Courage & Faith sentiment and Branching Out Dies. Card 2 uses Charming Shimmer Dots. Card 3 uses Natural Matte Dots & Secret Sea 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon.

Card 4 sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink using the Grow with Love stamp set. It uses other dies in the Scalloped Wishes Dies set. And the embellishments are again the Pearls of Beauty.

On two cards I added an extra card stock layer behind the DSP: 1 1/8 x 5 1/8; 2 7/8 x 5 3/8. The DSP layers are all the same: 1 1/4 x 51/4 & 2 3/4 x 5 1/4. You will see in the next photos that I also lined the inside of the cards with those same DSP measurements. The stamped Basic White layer on the inside is 4 x 5 1/4.

Stunning on the inside too, right? It really makes this card extra special. The stamped images on the inside use the Gallery Blooms stamp set: card 1 is stamped in Old Olive ink; cards 2 & 3 are stamped in Secret Sea ink; and card 4 is stamped in Early Espresso ink.
