Stampin’ Up! NEWS FLASH!

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes and they are coming SOON! I don’t want you to be left out or too surprised – so here’s the scoop…

Cling Stamps (Red Rubber)

Stampin’ Up! has decided to discontinue their cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials. While they currently have access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent, and certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured. They’re choosing to make this change now to ensure a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption. They will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.

Here are some specifics about the transition from cling stamps to photopolymer:

Stampin’ Write Markers – Discontinuing and Available While Supplies Last Starting Tomorrow, 20 Aug 2025!

Stampin’ Up! has also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, they’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling stamps.

Here are a few details about the Stampin’ Write Markers:

New And Improved Stamp And Die Packaging

As part of Stampin’ Up!’s transition away from cling stamps, Stampin’ Up! is excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, they’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together (WooHoo!). The new packaging is similar to their current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears plus Branching Out Dies

Good Sunday morning! I’ve a sweet Perfectly Pears card for you today and I paired it with a new die set from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog called Branching Out Dies. It has a stamp set as well, but I’m not using that today.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pears card front

This new die is shown here in the Basic Beige – as a background for the pears. The leaves of thew pears cover the top of the die cut, but it’s the same as the bottom. There are at least 6 of these layering dies in the set, plus some other fun dies as well. It’s wonderful. How to make this card…

The card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Darling Duckling then a layer of Painterly Pears DSP. Next I die cut the Basic Beige with the Branching Out dies and added it. With another piece of the Painterly Pears DSP and the Perfectly Pears Dies, I die cut the two pears and the stem/ leaves. Using another die in the Perfectly Pears Dies and Lemon Lime Twist, I die cut the open weave image. I adhered the stem/ leaves to each pear, then attached them to the card front: the darker pear is adhered directly and the lighter pear is on dimensionals. I slipped the open weave die cut under the pears and attached with dabs of liquid glue. The leaves of the darker pear do have dimensionals. Once everything was innplace, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink. It comes from the Perfectly Pears stamp set. Final touch – three Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Old Olive and a double Linen Thread bow added with a glue dot.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pears inside card

For the inside…on a panel of Basic White… the pear comes from the Perfectly Pears stamp set… inked first in Darling Duckling then Lemon Lime Twist added with a sponge dauber and stamped on the panel. The stem’ leaves are also from this stamp set and are inked with Old Olive and Early Espresso Markers. This was attached to aDarling Duckling panel then added to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pearas card & envelope

For the envelope… The same Painterly Pears DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. The pear was stamped using the same method as above – using the Perfectly Pears stamps, Darling Duckling and Lemon Lime Twist inks for the pear and Old Olive and Early Espresso markers for the stem’ leaves. This is such a fabulous suite of products!

Stampin’ Up! Traditions of Christmas ~ Sending Love & Joy

Yesterday was a blog hop & I used the Traditions of Christmas SDSP for my focal point. Today – still the same package of Designer Series Paper, but used very differently. First of all, there is a coordinating stamp & die bundle that coordinates and die cuts images in the paper – the Christmas Greenery bundle, available Sep 3 in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.

Stampin' Up! Traditions of C'mas - sending love

I began with one of those die cuts – of this beautiful ‘swag’. I then stamped some extra leaves from the Christmas Greenery stamp set in Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock scraps – and die cut them as well. I adhered the ‘swag’ with dimensionals and the leaves directly to a Basic White panel. Next I die cut this gorgeous bow from Real Red and adhered it together, placed a cut dimensional and put it in place. Pulling out another bundle that coordinates is the Traditional Labels bundle that has all sentiments and label dies. I stamped on Basic White in Real Red ink, then die cut the label – love this curve die! I also die cut the same lable from Old Olive cardstock, cut it min half lengthwise to give a ‘shadow effect’ or frame to the white label. I added this to the card front with dimensionals. Once that was inn place, I felt the white space was ‘too white’ – too much white space (for me). So I pulled out the Christmas Greenery stamp that had the three berries and stamped those in Real Red all over the open spaces. As a final touch I added Traditional Sparkling Sequins in gold to the sentiment banner. This entire panel was adhered to an Old Olive card base.

Stampin' Up! Traditions of C'mas, sending love card inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Traditional Labels stamp set in Old Olive on a Basic White panel, then added berries in Real Red using the Christmas Greenery stamp set. This was adhered to the inside of the card – and done!

Stampin' Up! Traditions of C'mas, sending love card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the Traditions of Christmas SDSP but using this fun olive plaid pattern, was adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit.

Stampin’ Up! Traditions of Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and you know what that mean – a super dooper hop. Let’s get to it! We have a sketc h challenge today and I’ve used NEW PRODUCTS from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog. Wheee!

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card front

I used Secret Sea for my card base and adhered strips of Traditions of Christmas DSP & Gold Foil to create the front of the card. (card cuts are listed below) I stamped then sentiment in VersasMark ink then sprinkled WOW! Metallic Embossing Powder (gold) and heat set it. This small banner seemed to need some accent – so I cut a length of ribbon 1/2″ Shiny Ribbon in Real Red, angling one end to mimic the banner. To this ribbon i added 3/8″ Irregular Weave Trim with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered these to the card front, put dimensionals on the sentiment banner (die cut with the Traditional Labels Dies) and attached over the ribbons – creating a great accent. NOTE: you could easily create the same thing with card stock. My final step was adding three Traditional Sparkling Sequins – and the card front was complete! Remember these items will be available in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog. You could also join my team now and be able to order these items as part of your starter kit!

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment using the Traditional Labels stamp set and Real Red ink. I then fussy cut the image from one of the Traditions of Christmas SDSP and adhered it with liquid glue next to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the same main pattern of the Traditions of Christmas SDSP adhered to the envelope

Stampin’ Up! NEW Amber Autumn Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Sneaky Peeks are so fun – you get to see new products that will be available in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog and I get to p-l-a-y! Or should I say, experiment?! We hasve a challenge for this blog hop – “fall frenzy” and we can interpret that any way we like. So, here we go…

Stampin' Up!n Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

This is a BRAND NEW bundle – part of a suite of products in the Sep-De c 2025 Mini Catalog… Love, love, love this suite of products! We have LOTS of oak trees in our back area and because of that, acorns. That inspired this card – of course along with the theme. 😀 I used Gray Granite for my card base, then a layer of the shiny Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper. It has a brownish coppery kind of look and as I said – is shiny. I then die cut the leaves using the Amber Autumn Dies (it’s one die) using the Autumn Toile DSP with Adhesive Sheet attached. Removing the adhesive sheet, I attached it to the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper. The main image is stasmped in Early Espresso ink and colored with several Stampin’ Blends: Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake & Cajun Craze.I used a Blender Pen to move the Early Espresso ink on the acorn top and on the shading of the acorn, then filled in the rest of the acorns with Crumb Cake. After coloring, I die cut this image with the Amber Autumn Dies. I adhered this to a Stitched Shapes circle (third from largest) in Very Vanilla. This was attached to the card front with dimensionals. As a final touch three of the Streaked Dots, part of this suite of products.

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn card inside

For the inside of the card… I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink, then stamped a portion of the acorn stamp (also from Amber Autumn stamp set. stamping in the upper right corner, re-inking and stamping in the lower left corner.. This Very Vanilla stamped panel was adhered to an Autumn Toile DSP, then attached to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Autumn Amber card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the same Autumn Toile DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. Again… I stamped a partial image of the acorn stamp from the Amber Autumn stamp set in the lower left corner.

Stampin’ Up!Sneaky Peek of Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder

New product releases in the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog are opportunities for challenges to inspire. This embossing folder is part of a suite of products called the Traditions of Christmas Suite. Let’s look…

Stampin' Up! Traditional Wreath 3D card front

This is a large embossing folder… about 6×6… good for a card but also could be something to be framed. The image is beautiful and full of texture. After running the Basic White panel through the embossing folder, I used a sponge dauber & Old Olive ink to add color to the raised leaves.I then used my Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends to color the berries. Next I pulled out one of the papers in the Traditions of Christmas SDSP and fussy cut several of the images of a poinsettia & leaves.I adhered these both with dimensionals and directly to the embossed piece. I used the ribbon in the suite – Shiny Ribbon in Real Red – to tie this gorgeous bow. It is attached with a glue dot. I used a tiny bit of Stampin’ Seal to attach the lengths of the ribbon in place. This panel was added to Real Red to create the card.

Stampin' Up! Traditional Wreath 3D card inside

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment using the Traditional Labels stamp set (has dies too!) in Real Red ink, which is also part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite. These products will be available Sep 3 in the new Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Sunflower 3D Anniversary Card

Good morning! It’s Saturday and a crisp 55 degrees here in coastal NJ. Not the right time of year for these temps, but I’ll take it! I needed an anniversary card and since that fabulous Sunflower 3D embossing folder was still on my desk – I used it 😀 This could so easily be a wedding card, but this is a couple celebrating 30 years of marriage and well, they needed something special.

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D Anniversary card front

The card base is Thick Basic White to create this slimline card. After running a piece of Basic White through the Sunflower 3D embossing folder, I layered a piece of Smoky Slate to the back and adhered it to the card front. I took the Sweetly Scripted stamp set and stamped a 1/2″ strip with the sentiment in Smoky Slate. I ran my Stampin Seal along the back of the strip and attached Silver 1/8″ Trim, weaving it back and forth. I added lots of dimensionals and attached it to the card front. The last step was adding two Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems. I absolutely love this!

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D Anniversary card inside

For the inside… I used the same Sweetly Scripted stamp set and Smoky Slate ink to stamp the congratulations sentiment to a Basic White insert. And that was it… it’s simple and quite elegant.

Card cuts will be listed below to make this simple, elegant card. Stampin’ Up! has some great deals going right now. CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL! or click the various images below.

Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Embossing Folder – Off-set Gatefold Sympathy Card

Good morning – it’s Friday and I have two cards for you this morning using the debossed side of paper run through this fabulous Sunflower 3D embossing folder. And, it’s an off-set gatefold card. In a traditional gatefold card, both closing sides are the same width; this off-set means one side (the right side in this case) is more narrow. Let’s take a peek…

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D offset gatefold card front
Stampin' Up! Offset gatefold Sunflower 3D card front

The card on the left is made with a Bubble Bath card base, embossed Basic White card stock, and Bubble Bath ink. The card on the right is made with Fresh Freesia card stock and a layer of embossed Fresh Freesia sprinkled with WOW! Metallic Embossing Powder in silver and heat set with the heat tool. It gives this card a real element of elegance. The sentiment on each card is from the Everday Greetings stamp set die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Dies. White Basic Twine was run through the hole in the tag and tied into a bow. The tag was adhered with dimensionals to the larger side of the card front.

For the inside of the card… I had started with a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel to emboss with the Sunflower Embossing folder. After inking the debossed side, I trimmed it down and there was a narrow remaining piece – which I adhered to the Basic White insert. I also stamped the sentiment: Bubble Bath for the first card and Fresh Freesia for the second. These were adherred and the cards were complete.

For the envelope… I took another strip of Basic White, ran it through the Sunflower 3D embossing folder, inked the debossed side: again, Bubble Bath ink for the first card and Fresh Freesia for the second card. For the second card I again sprinkled it with WOW! Metallic embossing powder in silver and heat set it. Each was adhered to a Basic White envelope and trimmed to fit. Card cuts are listed below.

Just a word about inking an embossed panel… if you saw yesterday’s post, it indicated a 45 degree angle when running the ink pad along the embossed piece. For these cards, the angle was more like a 20 degree angle and I liked it much better. Practice, right?!

Card cuts:

  • Card bass 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored on long side @ 1 1/4 & 5 1/2
  • Embossed layer 4 x 5 1/4 trimmed to 2 7/8 x 5 14, 1 x 5 1/4, remainder used for inside
  • Basic White for inside 4 x 5 1/4
  • Envelope flap 2 1/4 x 6, adhered & trimmed to fit

Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Embossing for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday and welcome to this fabulous hop! We have a challenge today – embossing – which could be dry embossing or heat embossing. I’ve chosen to do the dry embossing with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. I’m also using some of the colors that are currently on sale – the 2025-2027 IN COLORS. Both may be found here

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D EF, colored, card front

I did a fun thing after embossing the Basic White panel.. I used a Darling Duckling ink pad to lightly and at an angle, brush against the embossed panel. There are a couple of ‘keys’ to doing this… 1) lightly 2) angle. Lightly is self explanatory. The angle should be at about 45 degrees. After ‘coloring’ the embossed panel I cut strips 3/4 x 3 1/2, added Foam Adhesive Lightly is self explanatory. The angle should be at about 45 degrees. After ‘coloring’ the embossed panel I cut strips 3/4 x 3 1/2, added Foam Adhesive to the back of the strips 1/2 x 3 1/4 & attached them to a Timid Tiger piece 3 5/8 x 3 1/4. I added a length of Faux Linen Ribbon in Timid Tiger to the Cloud Cover card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 on the long side. I added a Timid Tiger strip 5/8 x 3 1/4 below the embossed. I stamped the sentiment (from Coneflower Celebrations stamp set) in Cloud Cover ink on Basic White then die cut it with Mixed Labels Dies, put dimensionals on the back, added Low Profile Dots in Darling Duckling.

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D, colored, inside card

On the inside… another strip of the same Sunflower 3 D Embossing folder 5/8 x 3 1/2. I also stamped the sentiment in Cloud Cover ink from the same Coneflower Celebrations stamp set. This Basic White panel was added to a Timid Tiger piece 3 3/4 x 5 which was attached to the Cloud Cover card base.

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D EF, colored, card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the embossed and colored Sunflower 3D embossed panel was attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. DONE! I love this kind of card – could be for a ‘job well done’ to a birthday card! Hope you like it. Remember, these colors are part of the 2025-2027 In Color Sale!!!
