Welcome to Thursday and the fun Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog hop. We have a sketch challenge today and I’ve turned it sideways, I also think it fits the sketch. .
I’ve been playing a lot with this embossing folder. It’s a new one – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE and I’m loving how beautiful it is. I’ve kept this card really simple to show off the beauty of this embossing folder. The card base is a standard A2 size, 8 1/2 x 5 12 scored at 4 1/4. The embossed layer is 5 x 4 1/4 and is attached to the Thick Basic White base with liquid glue. I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the sentiment on a Basic White piece- from You Are Beautiful stamp set. I die cut this with Nested Essentials Dies – a carry over set into the May-Aug 2026 catalog. I adhered this with dimensionals to the next larger die cut in Smoky Slate. The two were attached directly to the embossed panel. I wanted a bow & decided this 1/” Variegated Trim would do the trick – & attached it with a glue dot. Final step… two 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.
For the inside I decided to do something I haven’t done in a bit – use my scoring tool to create some lines. I turned the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel to the back and scored three lines. I turned the panel 90 degrees and did the same again. Turning this to the right side, the score lines are raised and just what I wanted. This created a simple & elegant border to the left and bottom. This was attached to the inside of the card and is ready!
For the envelope… I used another stamp in the You are beautiful stamp set – the large leaf – and Smoky Slate ink to stamp several times on the flap and once on the envelope front. This is such a nice set and I haven’t used it nearly enough!
So here’s my question… do I need the bow? Or, shall I remove it?

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I have a fun set of cards to share today. And yes, you heard that right – a ‘set’ of cards. I needed several for folks that need a pick-me-up, a thinking of you if they are feeling kind of down. I enjoy the off-set gatefold more than the regular – I have no idea why. At any rate… I was playing with the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP and got on a roll. Here are the four cards.
Didn’t these turn out beautifully- all because of the DSP! Each card is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored on the long side at 1 1/4 & 5 1/2. After that it simply depends on how you burnish the fold as to which direction it becomes. 😀 Card 2 is off-set to the right while the other three are off-set to the left. And either way works.
Card 1 sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink on Basic White & uses the Grow with Love stamp set & die cut with Scalloped Wishes Dies. Embellishments are Pearls of Beauty.
Cards 2 & 3 are both stamped in Secret Sea ink using the Courage & Faith sentiment and Branching Out Dies. Card 2 uses Charming Shimmer Dots. Card 3 uses Natural Matte Dots & Secret Sea 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon.
Card 4 sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink using the Grow with Love stamp set. It uses other dies in the Scalloped Wishes Dies set. And the embellishments are again the Pearls of Beauty.
On two cards I added an extra card stock layer behind the DSP: 1 1/8 x 5 1/8; 2 7/8 x 5 3/8. The DSP layers are all the same: 1 1/4 x 51/4 & 2 3/4 x 5 1/4. You will see in the next photos that I also lined the inside of the cards with those same DSP measurements. The stamped Basic White layer on the inside is 4 x 5 1/4.
Stunning on the inside too, right? It really makes this card extra special. The stamped images on the inside use the Gallery Blooms stamp set: card 1 is stamped in Old Olive ink; cards 2 & 3 are stamped in Secret Sea ink; and card 4 is stamped in Early Espresso ink.
And there you have it. I love this set of cards! Hope you do as well. Products to make these cards may be found below. Take a peek at my Daisy Patch rewards for benefits of shopping with me.
Thanks for stopping by. May you have a beautiful day. Make someone happy by sending them a handmade card filled with ❤️
Good Monday! I’ve a pretty daisy card for you that just shouts spring. I’ve been working in my craft room for a while now, purging, cleaning up, reorganizing. It’s coming together but isn’t quite ‘there’ yet. So, back to this card… it uses the new March ONLINE EXCLUSIVE Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder. Let’s take a peek.
This card has lots of layers 👍 Absolutely love this floral image. I stamped it in Memento ink then added color with Stampin’ Blends: Daffodil Delight & Shy Shamrock, then used my fine tip Basick Black Marker to add lines to the flower petals and dots under the flower center. If your marker tip is of the newer variety and doesn’t have that fine tip, you can use a Journaling Pen. I die cut this image with Branching Out Dies then cut out another from Pool Party card stock & layered them together. I ran a panel of Basic White 3 3/4 x 5 through the new Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder. I cut a piece of Floral & Gingham Vellum SDSP using the checkered pattern – 4 x 5 1/4 and layered this to a Pool Party same size. I added these to the Thick Basic White card base (4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2). The Branching out pieces were attached to the card front with dimensionals. Final step… three Shades of Green Hexagons were added to the card front.
For the inside… I kept this quite simple… only the sentiment stamped in Memento Black ink – and this sentiment is from You Are Remarkable stamp set.
Again using a stamp from the Mixed Florals stamp set & Memento Black ink, I added this sweet floral image to the envelope front and colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends Light Daffodil Delight.
Let’s discuss for a minute what’s coming soon… changes to that Memento ink pad. It’s going to be new & different & fabulous – no need to have a certain black ink pad for certain processes. This new pad will do it all! No Stazon or cleaner… just this new ink pad. Cannot WAIT!!! This is coming in the new catalog that will be available soon (May 4 to be exact!) – along with lots of other goodies… five new In Colors in all new magnetic ink pads that will be so easy to open – you’re going to love them. In lieu of one new catalog that runs for a full year, Stampin’ Up! will be releasing three catalogs per year beginning with the May-August 2026 Catalog. I’m excited about this change. This new catalog is fewer pages but lots of new products & ideas & I can’t wait to share them with you.
For now… if you want to order items to make the above card, see the products below to do that.
Thanks for stopping by. May you have a beautiful day. Send a card with lots of ❤️
Welcome to Thursday – Dec 4 – and the super fun blog hop. We have a sketch challenge today that is just perfect to show off a new January-April 2026 Mini Catalog product – some of the Cute As A Bug Suite. Just super, super cute! Thanks for joining me today.
This super cute ‘bug’ is a die cut (from Sweet Bugs Dies) using the Designer Series Paper called Cute As A Bug 12×12. It may be found in the January-April 2026 Mini Catalog on pages 42-44. I added a Basic White backing for strength. The sentiment comes from the Sweet Bug stamp set. and the DSP these sit on is more of the Cute As A Bug 12×12 DSP. It was added to a Mossy Meadow panel just slightly larger. The embossing folder is also brand new – it’s called Lovely Stripes and is an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE coming in January. It was dry embossed on Crushed Curry card stock and added to as Crushed Curry card base. The embellishments I used are Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Mossy Meadow.
For the inside of the card I die cut another cute ‘fellow’ from the Cute As A Bug DSP and adhered it to a Basic White panel. I also stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Bug stamp set in Mossdy Meadow ink. This panel is attached to Mossy Meadow & both added to the inside of the card.
A super cute stamp of these ants mar ching along… from the Sweet Bug stamp set. I stamped in Pecan Pie ink – should have usede Memento Black ink. I colored with Stampin’ Blends Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight & Real Red.
For the envelope back I attached more of the same design from the Cute As A Bug 12×12 DSP. Tuesday, the day I made this card ,was a dismal, dreary day outside – rained all day – 2 1/2″ plus – and making this card made me smile. Hope it makes you smile too. Good morning… it’s Thursday and you KNOW what that means – the wonderful Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have some very talented folks on this team & it amazes me what folks create. I hope you appreciate all the talent you see on our hops. It is so funny, I was a week ahead of myself & made something for that… so I re-grouped!
Yesterday I received a Stampin’ Up! package with items from the Jan-April 2026 Mini Catalog, along with my catalog! YAY! So, in re-grouping and with the new items, I created something, well, different for me. My hubby really likes it – so hopefully you will too.
The items on this card are all from the Nature’s Walk Suite Collection in the new January – April 2026 Mini Catalog. First off, I cannot believe we are quickly moving into 2026!!! How did that happen? Secondly – this suite is full of gorgeous Designer Series Paper (2!), embellishments, a bundle & ribbon. I used all but the ribbon for this card. Check the texture on the paper behind the leaf die cut. That’s called Natural Hues Textured Specialty Paper. And the die cut leaf is from one of the Nature Walk DSP; the panel at the bottom is from the same sheet. The odd-shaped cuts in the paper – a die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies. More texture! And the piece with the holes – another die. And of course, it was cut from the same piece of DSP!
I used additional products to make this card… the Textured Notes Dies (third from largest), Very Vanilla card stock & Secret Sea ink.
For the inside of the card… Another strip of the Nature Walk DSP across the bottom of a 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Very Vanilla; the leaf is actually a portion of the leaf from the leaf on the card front :O) The sentiment is from Nature’s Symphony stamp set – stamped in Secret Sea ink. There’s another stamp on there too, on the paper under the leaf, it’s just really hard to see, but it comes from this stamp set as well.
Card & envelope… I left this in the ‘large’ size so you can see the texture on the larger panel of Specialty Paper. I will definitely be playing more with this set! You can see more photos below of the products in this suite – the Nature Walk Suite Collection – out in the January- April 2026 Mini Catalog.
Take a ‘walk’ through the folks participating in today’s hop by clicking the link below or clicking on a name. Enjoy!
Here are photos of this suite of products, plus the front of the catalog. You can see I tabbed it already so I can find what I’m looking for more easily.
Nature Walk 12 x 12 DSP: coordinating colors in this pretty paper – side A: Cloud Cover, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock & Secret Sea.
Side B of Nature Walk 12 x 12 DSP
On the left: Natural Hues 12 x 12 Textured Specialty Paper in Cream, Tan & Gold. On the right are the Faux Bronze Pentagons embellishments and the Secret Sea 3/8″ Bordered Open Weave Ribbon.
Other Stampin’ Up! News:
From November 25 to December 1,get up to 40% off select products. 40% OFF
I posted a card last week that was made in this same way. Todays card is simply black & white with the beautiful Botanical Textures DSP (on the last chance list so ON SALE!) I used a new November ONLINE EXCLUSIVE embossing folder – Beautiful Pattern and really like the design it creates.
You will notice I offset the pleated panel and tied the bow on the side. This has a totally different look. Here is the link to the card with this same pleat or accordion type fold.
More photos… card open to the left so all layers show, then card open to right where only the second panel is decorated. You could, of course, decorate the other panels, but they would not show when the card is closed or open.
Notice the DSP is cut so each design matches the next, starting with the left far panel to even the small strip on right. These were purposely cut sequentially so the pattern would ‘flow.’
Want to make this card – see card cuts below. And links are also listed to place your order to pick up these products: Botanical Textures DSP, Beautiful Pattern embossing folder, The Right Words stamp set, Traditional Labels Dies, Neutral Matte Dots & Faux Linen Ribbon in Cloud Cover + Basic Black and Basic White card stock.

WOW – November! Halloween is behind us & Thanksgiving is coming soon. What a time to be be thankful & grateful… yes, yes. I’m thankful for all of you & grateful for this fun craft which I so enjoy. So MANY blessings… lest I get sappy… let me share today’s card.
This cute little bird has been sitting on my desk for a bit. He was supposed to be used on another project & well, I got busy with other cards, designs & stuff. He was die cut using a Spotlight on Nature Die, cut directly from the Nests of Winter DSP. I mounted him on a Cherry Cobbler circle die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies. Then I pulled various papers from the Nests of Winter DSP pack.
the cross panel is 2 1/4 x 3 7/8
the two vertical panels are 1 x 3 & 1 1/4 x 4
These were adhered on the Basic White 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 pice which was attached to yet another panel of DSP 4 x 5 1/4. These were added to the Gray Granite card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) with dimensionals. The circles were also added to the card with dimesnionals. Then these wonderful Streaked Dots were scattered for additional charm.
For the inside of the card I fussy cut with my paper snips this adorable bird & adhered it with liquid glue to the Basic White insert (4 x 5 1/4).
For the envelope… more of the Nests of Winter DSP attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. DONE! Cut the DSP panels ahead of time & this card layout is a quick 1, 2, 3. Add a sentiment depending on the front focal point, or not, as I didn’t here. It’s easy to add a message inside when this card is needed for something special.
Want to purchase these products – see the info below for the easy shopping experience. OR …
It’s cool again today – 40 degrees… I’m definitely going to wear a heavier jacket when I walk tomorrow! Brushed with Beauty dSP is a new release item come Nov 4 as part of an ONLINE EXCLUSivE suite of products. The paper is gorgeous and I can’t quit using it. When I showed this card to my hubby he immediately said it looked like a windowpane – so I’m coining that word for making this kind of layout. 😁
What is great about this layout is how versatile it is with so many of our Stampin’ Up! papers. And here’s how to do it…
DIRECTIONS FOR WINDOWPANE CARD
cut card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 & score @ 4 1/4 (Mossy Meadow
Cut another piece of card stock (same color) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 & run it through the Gathering Leaves embossing folder. Adhere this to the card front
Cut DSP (Brushed with Beauty) 2 3/4 x 4 then cut that with short edge at top:
1 3/4 x 1 1/2 & 1 x 2 1/2 (that leaves a piece 1 3/4 x 2 1/2 & 1 x 1 1/2)
Adhere these to a card panel 3 x 4 1/4 with even separation (Early Espresso)
Adhere this to a card panel 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 (Very Vanilla)
Add these to the card baser with dimensionals
Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink using the Just A Note stamp set
Make a double Linen Thread bow; add to card front with a glue dot
Add sentiment with dimensionals over the bow
For the inside… I cut a piece of this stunning Brushed with Beauty DSP 1/2 x 3 3/4 and adhered it to the bottom of a Vary Vanilla panel 3 3/4 x 5, then added this to the inside of the card.
For the envelope… another piece of this beautiful Brushed with Beauty DSP in a coordinating pattern – 2 14 x 6, adhered & trimmed to fit. Bam – done!

Mixing old & new is almost magical – it brings life to papers you have had for a while, making it possible to create with new eyes. I’m sharing another accordion fold card made with the Regal Distressed Pattern SDSP that is Pretty Peacock in color and pairing it with the dies from Pearls of Beauty – a new November 4 release in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.
These gorgeous dies from the new Pearls of Beauty bundle were die cut from Gold Foil and from Vellum. Yes – Vellum is back! Vellum is one of the products in the Brushed with Beauty Suite. I cut a panel of Gold Foil 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 & from the center die cut the two leaf dies – using the Pearls of Beauty Dies. I cut a panel of the Regal Distressed Pattern SDSP 4 x 5 1/4 & added it to the Gold Foil – no one will suspect die cut were taken from the center! Both were added to the Pretty Peacock card base. The gold foil die cuts were added with liquid glue – except under four of the larger leaves I added a dimensional for added depth. I die cut the delicate floral edging detail from Vellum & attached it with a glue dot in the center of the flower. One single Pearls of Beauty embellishment in the center covers the glue dot. I added a double bow from white Baker’s Twine & attached it with a glue dot as well. Gorgeous!
For the inside… stunning. The accordion fold is a panel of DSP (here it is Regal Distressed Patterns SDSP in white) cut 4 x 12 and scored at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9, then added to the card base with equal edges on both ends – only adhering those 3″ ends. Here I used the Branching Out Dies to die cut two Basic White panels adhering them 1/4″ from the edge of the paper on each end. The Pearls of Beauty single flower is stamped in Flirty Flamingo full strength for the flower outline, then using the ‘filler’ stamp and Flirty Flamingo ink, stamping off once. I die cut the stamped image with the Pearls of Beauty Dies and added it to the upper left corner. I die cut the delicate Vellum edging of the flower and added it with a single glue dot & a Pearls of Beauty embellishment in the center. I stamped the leaf image on the Vellum in Soft Sea Foam ink, heat set it with my heat tool, then die cut it with the Pearls of Beauty Dies and slipped it gently under the flower, using liquid glue to attach it. On the lower right corner… I stamped the flowers in the same manner as the first…outline stamp in Flirty Flamingo full strength and the filler stamp in stamped off Flirty Flamingo ink. I added three small Pearls of Beauty embellishments.
For the envelope… more of the Regal Distressed Pattern SDSP added to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, this gorgeous flower stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink in the 2 step method described above.
If you want to see another couple of cards using the Brushed with Beauty suite as an accordion fold – look here. And this is a card using other dies in the suite – look here

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! You may have come from the fabulous Tara or just hopped in right here… However you got here, welcome! We have a sketch challenge this week and I have chosen to work with a NEW November ONLINE EXC;LUSIVE soon to be released November 4 bundle… called Swirled Designs. The dies are delicate so I encourage you to adhere an Adhesive Sheet to whatever paper you want to use to adhere these detailed dies. They are gorgeous but as I said – delicate.
I began by stamping the small star images from the Swirled Designs stamp set with VersMark ink over most of the Lost Lagoon panel, then sprinkling it with WOW! Metallic Embossing Powder in Polished Silver. I heat set it with my SU! heat tool. I then used the 2 3/8″ circle punch to punch a circle from Basic White, stamped it with Lost Lagoon stamped off once. What that means… ink the stamp, stamp off once then stamp on the circle – do that each time to create the dotted image on the circle. Adhere the stamped circle to the embossed star background with dimensionals. Cut a piece of Silver Foil 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, back it with an Adhesive Sheet. Die cut the single large star & several of the small stars plus the larger floral image from this in the center of the Silver Foil paper using the coordinating Swirled Designs Dies. Attach stars as shown – large star in the center of the circle and remaining small stars to the the embossed Lost Lagoon panel to reflect the challenge. Adhere the embossed panel to the Silver Foil & add to the Pretty Peacock card base with adhesive.
For the inside… adhere the Silver Foil die cut floral image to a Basic White panel (3 3/4 x 5) then attach to a panel of Lost lagoon (3 7/8 x 5 1/8) then to the inside of the card. Done!
For the envelope… stamp the dots from the Swirled Designs stamp set in stamped off Lost Lagoon in k. (ink, stamp off on scrap, then stamp on envelope flap). Stamp the flower design from the Swirled Designs stamp set on the front of the envelope with full strength Lost Lagoon ink. This card is ready to send. No sentiment makes this card great for all occasions… just add your message – it could be Christmas, birthday, silver anniversary,New Years – you name it . And, it could be masculine or feminine 😀 This is really non-generic – and I love that! As I mentioned earlier, this bundle will be released November 4 as an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. And to remind hyou – as a Demonstrator I have the privilege of preordering items before they become available to the general public. 👍 That’s just a hint to become a Demonstrator!!!
