Stampin’ Up! Pop-Up Book Fun Fold with Brushed With Beauty DSP

Brushed With Beauty is one of my all-time favorites. I just love the colors and the vibrancy and the nature images. I came across this fun fold the other day on Pinterest and just had to give it a ‘go’ using this paper. It coordinates with Petals of Beauty bundle & Words of Beauty bundle, as an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE back in November. I’m surprised the other but the same I have any remaining paper! I’m sharing two cards today using different patterns in this paper pack – each so different from the other but the very same fun fold.

Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Book Fun Fold, inside card 1

Card one is made with Darling Duckling for the card base and a layer of Early Espresso behind the DSP on the card front. I stamped and die cut leaf images using the Petals of Beauty bundle. The sentiment is from Words of Beauty stamp set & die cut using a Die from the coordinating bundle. The embellishments are Opal Rounds from the Mediterranean Blooms suite of products. On the inside, I again stamped in stamped off Early Espresso ink for the leaf image and full strength for the sentiment (Words of Beauty stamp set). I layered these Basic White ‘book pages’ with Early Espresso card stock.

For card 2 – remember it’s still the same Brushed With Beauty DSP pack. The card base here is Petal Pink and the DSP is layered on Mossy Meadow. The flower is die cut using the Petals of Beauty Dies: I stamped the flower in Petal Pink ink directly on the DSP & die cut the that, then die cut the white separately. The words are from Words of Beauty and die cut with the Dies: mossy Meadow for the shadow and Brushed with Beauty for the words themselves. For embellishments I used Low Profile Dots from Mixed Media Florals suite of products. On the inside, the words are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink using the Words of Beauty stamp set and the flower in Petal Pink ink with the Petals of Beauty stamp set and more Low Profile Dots.

Instructions how to make this card:

card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
DSP is 5 1/4 x 8 1/4:
- with long side at top, score at 4 1/8, burnish gently
  - with short side at top, & DSP at 1″ mark, cut between 1″ & 7 1/4″, repeat for other side
    - with long side at top again, line up at 1″ & score between the long cuts at 1″ & 1 1/2″: repeat for other side. With long side still at top, score at 2″ in the upper & lower 1″ sections. Repeat for other side. Burnish all score lines gently… valley (1″), mountain (1 1/2″), valley (2″), mountain (for 1″ section; valley for center section), valley (other 2″ score), mountain (other 1 1/2 score), valley (final 1″ score.) It should look like photo below

With card base flat, adhere one ‘end’ on the DSP (between the 2″ and 1″ score lines): repeat for other end.

Now decorate:

Card front layers: card stock is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8; DSP layer is 3 3/4 x 5 & added to card front with dimensionals
Card inside layers: card stock is 2 1/2 x 3 1/8; Basic White is 2 3/8 x 3. ( I used a card stock layer only on the Darling Duckling card)

Card 1 – Brushed with Beauty DSP 2 1/4 x 6 in Darling Duckling pattern, attached to flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, the small leaf image is stamped off once Early Espresso ink.

Card 2 – Brushed with Beauty DSP 2 1/4 x 6 in floral pattern, attached to flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, the flower is first stamped full strength in Petal Pink ink with the outline flower stamp, then stamped with the full flower in stamped off Petal Pink ink.

Stampin’ Up! Paradise Garden for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Group

Welcome to Thursday’s hop! We have a fun sketch challenge for you today and I think you’ll like what you see from all those participating. Thanks for dropping in, whether you came from fabulous Tara or someone else, I’m glad you’re here. We’ve had a bit of snow this week & this card definitely says SPRING! Let’s take a peek…

I’ve used Vellum again and the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing folder for the card front, The Vellum is 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/8 and only the front is embossed. This bundle (Paradise Garden Bundle) will be available Mar 3 as part of the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.

One of the dies is this curvy piece that I’ve used for my large panel, cut from Lemon Lolly card stock. The leaf is stamped & die cut with parts of the Paradise Garden set.I used Soft Sea Foam ink on a Soft Sea Foam card stock. I used Iridescent Pearls in two sizes as embellishments, also the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack from the Annual Catalog – in Lemon Lolly of course to create the double bow.

On the inside of the front Vellum embossed panel is another of the strips die cut from Lemon Lolly and attached. It doesn’t exactly match, due to the curves, but I like the way it looks & it covers the adhesive. Facing on the inside… and in the same area as the Lemon Lolly panel facing it, is stamped a leaf image in Soft Sea Foam using the Paradise Garden stamp set. The sentiment is stamped in Daffodil Delight and uses Paradise Garden stamp set. I used a template from the curvy die cut to know exactly where to stamp 😁 This Basic White panel is added to the the Vellum, then the Vellum is attached to a Daffodil Delight piece 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

For the back of the card … another panel of Basic White stamped with the sentiment in Daffodil Delight using the Paradise Garden stamp set.

For the envelope I sued another leaf from the Paradise Garden stamp set & Soft Sea Foam ink to stamp both the front of the card & the flap.

Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Slider Fun Fold with Scalloped Wishes Bundle

Good morning stampin’ friends. It was an amazing snow day yesterday, here in the Northeast. I’m guessing we got about 28″ and today is 20 degrees so that snow is frozen solid. It’s supposed to be sunny today so some will melt. 😀

I have a very fun pop up slider card today, which I haven’t done before. I was playing with a new bundle that’s a March Online Exclusive – available March 3 to customers. It’s so sweet. And Vellum seems to be popular these days, so I’ve used some of that too.

Stampin' Up! Pop Up Slider Fun Fold w/ Scalloped Wishes, card front

The card base is a standard 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. I cut a piece of Country Wood 12×12 DSP 4 x 5 1/4 and added it to the card front. I embossed a Vellum panel 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 using the Damask Designs embossing folder. I pulled out Crumb Cake card stock and stamped a lacy border image in Crumb Cake ink then die cut it and a Basic White lacy die that fits this banner. I stamped the sentiment using the Prayers & Promises stamp set (from the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog) in Misty Moonlight ink, then added the lacy die cut to the Crumb Cake with dabs of liquid glue. I attached this to the Vellum panel, then adhered the Vellum to the card front, adding glue only behind the banner. The reason is, the glue can b e seen through the Vellum if it’s added where there is no paper on the front. To complete the card front, I added three Pearls of Beauty in White.

For the inside… Cut two more panels of Country Woods 12×12 DSP (4 x 5 1/4) and add to the inside of the card. For the mechanism cut two pieces of Basic White: 2 x 5 1/4 scored on each end at 1/2″; 1 1/2 x 9 3/4 scored at 3/4, 5 1/4, 7, 7 1/2 & 9 1/4. Burnish all score lines. Add a piece of Country Woods DSP to the smaller Basic White piece (1 3/4 x 4) – set this aside to work on the ‘slider’. This long piece… the 3/4 score should be folder under while the rest of the score lines are burnished to come back up & over itself. Attach the 3/4 scored end to the right edge of the left inside panel centering it top to bottom – see photo.

Add glue to those folded back ends of the decorated 2 x 5 1/4 piece & attach to the right inside of the card,over the mechanism and approximately 1/4″ from the next score line of the slider mechanism. You are attaching this to the card base, over the mechanism -see photo.

Final step of the mechanism… adhere the last scored portion of the long strip to the left edge of the decorated 2 x 5 1/4 panel. See photo.

Close the card to make the mechanism work properly and allow glue to set. Now, add adhesive to that thin part standing up & add the decorated element.

In the above photo, I stamped the image of this gorgeous flower using the Simply Beautiful stamp set & Memento ink on a Basic White piece. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends Petal Pink and Light Timid Tiger. I die cut the flower & attached it with liquid glue to that thin standing up piece of the mechanism. I die cut the stamen of the flower from Country Woods DSP, added Wink of Stella to it & attached it to the center of the flower. The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink with a sentiment from Simply Beautiful stamp set. I fussy cut the sentiment and attached it with mini dimensionals to the flower.

Final touches… I die cut these stunning dragonflies from Country Woods DSP and attached them to two places on the card. I embellished them with Pearls of Beauty in white – same as used on the card front. Open & close this card several times and the slider works perfectly! I am so excited about this new fun fold and can’t wait to try it with some other bundles in my stash… stay tuned!

Stampin’ Up! Bookfold Fun Fold with Cute As A Button Suite

Yesterday I created an interlocking z-fold with this suite. Today, it’s a bookfold using one of the pages of images that has scenes in 3 x 4 or 4 x 6 size. Let’s check it out.

I’m calling this panel, lilies of the valley – and it’s sweet. I die cut another of the flowers from another panel of the Cute As A Bug DSP, along with the other images on this card & envelope. You get lots of images that can be die cut straight from the DSP – I did several different ones – because I could!

It begins with a standard card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 4 1/4 & 5 1/2. Burnish those score lines mountain, valley. Add adhesive between those score lines and close card base, pressing well. Add layers of Mossy Meadow cut 1 1/8 x 4 1/8 , 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 (cut 2, one for the inside). Add DSP panels to the front: 1 x 4 & 4 x 4. When I cut these front panels I wanted the scene to ‘flow’ across the front. (If you so desired, that 1 x 4 panel could be a contrast panel.) I added the die cut lily of the valley with dimensionals then the two ladybugs, also on dimensionals. I used the smallest of the Everyday Arches dies to cut my sentiment piece… stamped in Mossy Meadow ink using a sentiment from Sweet Bugs and attached with dimensionals. I added a single Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shape to the 1″ panel and Wink of Stella to all the gray areas of the lilies.

On the 4×4 Basic White piece for the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink using the Sweet Bugs stamp set, then added the bee, watering can small flower with grass – all die cuts using Sweet Bug Dies and Cute As A Bug DSP.

For the envelope… sweet sweet daisy like DSP cut for the flap – yep – Cute As A Bug DSP, and a beetle ready for a picnic die cut from the Cute As A Bug DSP using the Sweet Bugs Dies. Loving this bundle & suite of products.

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Layers with Nature Walk DSP

Welcome to February – BRRR. Flowers remind me of spring and warmer weather… This little gem of white die cut has been on my desk fo a bit – and I finally pulled it all together. Fragrant Layers is a beautiful bundle and this piece of the die is perfect for layering. I punched out several of the pieces in this die cut, then taped in the others so they wouldn’t fall out of place. I mounted it on a soft green of the Nature Walk 12×12 DSP about 2 5/8 x 3 5/8 and set it aside. My card base is a standard A2 (* 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) in Lost Lagoon. The three strips are 1 x 5. I added the front panel to this with dimensionals. I stamped one of the flowers with Secret Sea ink, die cut it, punched out all the pieces and used a mjini dimensional to attach it to one of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea & die cut it with the banner die in the Fragrant Layers Dies. I added it with dimensionals then the Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Secret Sea.

On the inside, I used the large floral stamp in Fragrant Layers to stamp just a portion of the flower in the two corners – Secret Sea ink of course, and used Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends to color just the leaves. I layered this on another panel of the Nature Walk 12×12 DSP (4 x 5 1/4) and the inside was complete!

For the envelope… another piece of the Nature Walk 12×12 DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. and finis!

Stampin’ Up! Expanding & Angled Fun Fold with Endless Love Bundle

Good morning! The wind chill is minus 8 degrees this morning – definitely not typical NJ weather. I have a super sweet heart card for you today… just you wait. The directions and inspiration came from http://www.lisasstampstudio.com. This was much easier to create than it looks and I love the mix of patterns in the Made with Love 12×12 DSP.

In the photo above, you can see how it is shaped like a w with the angled cuts. In the photo at right, you can see the various decorated angles – all die cuts are from the Endless Love Dies. You can also see that on the last panel, left an opening for the heart insert.

In the two photos above, you can see the heart insert. These were die cut with the Endless Love Dies and tied together with ribbons ( 1/2″ Iridescent Ribbon that I cut in half lengthwise, the 1/8″ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon and Linen Thread.

Just to be clear, the hearts are not symmetrical on each side, so the large front heart appears cock-eyed, but it isn’t. I wove the two ribbons through the open holes (1/8′ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon + Linen Thread) & tied a bow. For a bit of extra sweetness, I added hearts to the tails of the Bubble Bath ribbon, die cuts from small heart dies in the bundle. The heart is added to the front angle with dimensionals.

I used Flirty Flamingo for the card base and expanding angles, Real Red for various heart die cuts, and Basic White for additional die cuts. The DSP is Made with Love 12×12 DSP. I adhered in various places the Loose Valentine Assortments. Stamping was done with Real Red ink. Ribbons: Linen Thread, 1/8″ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Thread and 1/2″ Iridescent Ribbon cut in half lengthwise.

Basic Measurements:

Card base – 5 1/2 x 6 1/4 scored on long side at 1″ & 2″

Angled base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored in half at 4 1/4; leave folded and cut from the top score line to the bottom right tip. Reserve cut panels

DSP:

inside back – 4 1/8 x 5 3/8; strips – 7/8 x 5 3/8
expanding angle – cut 3, 4 x 5 1/4, cut diagonally
inside triangle – 4 x 5 1/4 cut diagonally

Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4, cut diagonally (for the expanding angle – see photos)

Additional card stock: Real Red, Basic White for die cuts

Stampin’ Up! Love Notes Card

Good Friday morning stamping friends. The temp today here in my neck of the woods is… ZERO! The 10″ of snow that fell last Sunday is frozen solid and dangerous for walking. The streets are pretty clear; wildlife is suffering… 17 deer passed by our back yard this morning looking for food and water. We cannot get to our heated bird bath or feeders due to the ice. UGH!

My card today is full of hearts. It uses the Love Notes 6×6 DSP, Loose Valentine Assortment for embellishments and 1/4″ White ribbon from the Starter Ribbon Pack – and the Endless Love bundle. The card base is Flirty Flamingo 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. Cut this particular panel of Love Notes 6×6 along the pattern separation and adhere the larger piece to the card front 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. To the remaining panel add a Flirty Flamingo strip along the right edge and trim to 5 1/2 length. Wrap this panel with the ribbon, creating a knot on the front. Secure the knot with a glue dot, add dimensionals to the back of this panel and attach to the card along the fold line. Using the Endless Love stamp set, stamp the heart design with Real Red ink on a Basic White piece and die cut with the coordinating Endless Love Dies, attach to the card front with dimensionals. Now add the Loose Valentine Assortments. I added five.

For the inside of the card… I added a strip of the Love Notes 6×6 to a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel and attached more of the Loose Valentine Assortments with liquid glue. I love the simplicity of this card – yet it has lots of texture!

For the envelope… I added a piece of the Made with Love 12×12 DSP and trimmed to fit – and that was it! This card is ready to go! The fun part of this card is, it could be used to send to a friend struggling with health issues or sent as a friendly hello or a birthday card. With no particular sentiment this card fits many purposes.

Stampin’ Up! Sneak Peek of Delicate Whispers from March Online Exclusives

Do you notice all those beautiful and delicate die cuts of leaves & fronds? They are from the Delicate Wishes Dies which are part of the Delicate Whispers Suite Collection to be released March 3.

I began by die cutting all the pieces I wanted to use from the Delicate Whispers Dies using Nature Walk 12 x 12 DSP & the coordinating Natural Hues 12 x 12 from the January-April 2026 Mini Catalog pages 38-41. The Very Vanilla panel is the smallest of the Branching Out Dies, and cut down even more narrow for my purposes. The embossed panel is die cut from Nature Walk DSP using the Fragrant Layers Dies, a January ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. I embossed this piece using the Delicate Whispers stamp set, VersaMark ink and WOW! Gold Embossing powder & heat set it.

Layers:

Mossy Meadow card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/8 with Nature Walk DSP cut 3 7/8 x 5 and attached to i, then added to card base with dimensionals

I added the die cuts to the card front with liquid adhesive then attached the Very Vanilla die cut with dimensionals. The embossed banner was attached with Stampin’ Seal. Two Natural Matte Dots were added to the banner (part of the Delicate Dreams Suite Collection)

For the inside…

On the 4 x 5 1/4 Very Vanilla panel I added another of the die cuts from the Delicate Whispers Dies cut from Natural Hues 12×12. I stamped the sentiment from Delicate Wishes stamp set in Garden Green ink, added the rest of the Die cut banner from the Fragrant Layers Dies. The final step was stamping the beautiful frond from Delicate Whispers stamp set in Crumb Cake ink.

For the envelope…

I stamped the same delicate frond as on the inside of the card on the envelope front and added more of the Nature Walk 12×12 DSP to the flap – & one & done! This card fits so many possibilities: masculine, birthday, just a note, friendly hello – the list goes on. I hope when these items are available you will give them a ‘go’.

Stampin’ Up! ‘Pinched Paper’ Fun Fold with Lovely & Beautiful SDSP

Good Friday morning! It’s 18 degrees this morning but nice & brightly sunny 😀 My inspiration came from one of my card class students who passed along info about making this cute fun fold. That led me to watch a video by Rachel Tessman. Let’s look at my creation.

Stampin' Up! Lovely & Beautiful fun fold card front

This begins with a Basic White panel 4 x 5 14 and adhering a strip of the Lovely & Beautiful SDSP 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 to the center of the panel. Now cut two more strips from the same pattern 1 3/4 x 5 1/4. Adhere those strips in this fashion: the left strip – add adhesive only to the left edge & attach; the right strip – add adhesive to the right edge and attach.

Folding: fold back the top right side of the left strip to approximately the center of the card, but the fold should not allow any of the Basic White to show. Turn the card upside down and do the same for that same panel to create the bottom fold. Now, do the same for the right strip; fold back the top left side of the right strip just to the edge of the center strip pattern to a center point. Turn the card upside down again and do the same on the bottom right side. Burnish those folded back sections.

TIP: this folding back does not necessarily have to be to the center; it could be more toward the top or toward the bottom, but both sides do need to be uniform – to the same point.

Create the center pieces to cover where the papers come together. I pulled out my Beautifully Celebrated Dies, Fresh Freesia card stock and Basic White, die cut the two pieces and adhered them together. ( I used the smallest & next size up). I then stamped this sweet leaf image in Old Olive ink from the Beautifully Celebrated stamp set and colored it with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. I die cut it with coordinating dies (Beautifully Celebrated) and set it aside. I used the Simply Beautiful stamp set and Old Olive ink for the sentiment and fussy cut it, adhered the leaf to the back of the sentiment then attached the sentiment with mini dimentionals to the two die cut banners. W
ith the Simply Beautiful stamp set, I stamped the small flower in VersaMark ink (twice) on a Basic White piece, sprinkled those with WOW? Metallic Gold embossing Powder & heat set them. I colored both with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends for the flowers and Daffodil Delight for the center of the flowers. I die cut these with the coordinating die from Simply Beautiful Dies and adhered them to the same banner: one adhered directly to the and one on dimensionals (yes, it slightly covers some of the sentiment) I attached the banners to the front of the card with dimensionals and added three Pearlized Faceted Circles.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the same small flower from Simply Beautiful stamp set in VersaMark ink on a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel, sprinkled it with WOW! Metallic Gold embossing powder & heat set it. Again I colored it with Stampin’ Blends Fresh Freesia and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink on a nother piece of Basic White and die cut it with Words of Beauty Dies. I adhered this just beneath the flower – and finis! This could easily be a sympathy card or get well card or simply ‘hello friend’ kind of card. But I love the simplicity of the fun fold and the extra charm it creates. Hope you like!

Stampin’ Up! Brushed with Beauty for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Brushed with Beauty for sketch challenge

I began with Very Vanilla A2 size card. The floral pattern of the Brushed with Beauty is 2 x 4 and I adhered a thin strip (!/2 x 4) of another pattern from this package of DSP to the left side of the floral piece and adhered it to the card base – a 1/4″ edge on three sides. I then cut a piece of Crumb Cake 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 and stamped it with this fun pattern using the Beautifully Celebrated stamp set and Crumb Cake ink. I then adhered a strip of Mossy Meadow 1/2 x 5 1/2 to create the same edge as the upper panel & adhered it in place. I die cut the leaf from Mossy Meadow and set it aside while I made the sCake ink on a Very Vanilla strip 1/2 x 3 3/4. The leaf was added to the back of the stripn with liquid glue, then the strip added to the card front with dimensionals. As a final touch – three Pressed Flower Motifs were attached to bring it all together. These embellishments are an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE item from the Beautiful Gallery Suite.

For the inside… Crumb Cake ink and items in the Beautifully Celebrated stamp set were stamped on the Very Vanilla insert (4 x 5 1/4)

For the envelope… more of the Brushed with. Beauty DSP was attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the envelope front, the same leaf as on the inside of the card was stamped on the front – also in Crumb Cake ink. And there you have it – finis!
