Good morning! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly box of refreshing goodies, mostly to make cards but sometimes to make gift bags or boxes. Today I am using the Sweeter Than You July PP and creating a fun fold. Here is what comes in your kit for July 2025

There’s a stamp set in the original kit, just not in the refill! And here’s my first Alternate card.
I used the card base differently, scoring it at 2 3/4 & 5 1/2 and folding it as shown. I added a Basic White panel behind the vellum & added a Twine double bow, Wink of Stella to flower centers. On the inside, I cut a Garden Green then stamped a Basic White using stamps from the stamp set, Garden Green ink (supplied in the kit) and Daffodil Delight ink from my own stash for the stamped flowers. Everything else is part of the kit.

Good morning Friends… NJ has had a couple of days respite from the heat – a drop of 30 degrees to the 70’s! These are welcome temperatures! Today’s card is made with the new In Colors Secret Sea and Cloud Cover – and could be duplicated using all the new In Colors.
I began with the 2025-2027 In Color 6×6 DSP cut 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 and cut it on the diagonal, then turned the pieces 90 degrees holding them together, to cut on the other diagonal. (NOTE: This works with DSP that has a reverse side that is coordinating in color/ pattern, not conflicting. So choose carefully 😀) After cutting the DSP, decide which sections should be primary showing the pattern desired. Here I chose the left and right panels to be dominant and simply turned the other two panels to the reverse side. These were adhered to Basic White cut 4 x 5 1/4, dimensionals added to the back and attached to a Cloud Cover card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. On the front I added a length of 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon with Stampin’ Seal. Using the Mixed Labels Dies, I cut two labels, the larger in Secret Sea, the smaller in Basic White. I stamped the sentiment using the Mixed Labels stamp set in Secret Sea ink. I layered the two together with adhesive, popped dimensionals across the back on top & bottom and adhered it over the ribbon. The final touch was adding several 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover.
For the inside… simple… a 1/2 x 4 strip of the same 25-27 In Color DSP as used on the card front, and attached to the side of a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel
For the envelope, more of the 25-27 In Color DSP on the flap trimmed to fit. On the front, using Cloud Cover ink and an image in the Mixed Labels stamp set, I stamped twice on the lower left corner. This gives a completed look and could even be used as a masculine card, despite the flowers.

Explosion cards are just that – meant to WOW when opening them. I’ve two of them for you today 0ne is a 4 1/4 square card and the other is a standard A2 card with a finished size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. There are advantages to both sizes… both have the same size inside explosion 😀

card two – made with Beautiful Bokeh 6×6 DSP, Spring Corners stamp set, Layered Thoughts stamp, Stitched Shapes Dies, Low Profile Dots, Stampin’ Blends Soft Sea Foam, Lost Lagoon & Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink card base with an overlay of Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink & Memento inks. Basic directions…
With the side you wish to have showing most, fold a 6×6 piece of DSP in half, open & turn 90 degrees and fold in half again. Burnish well & open
Turn this piece over and fold in half in a diagonal fashion only once. Burnish and open. This creates the fold across the middle
The white panels on this are made with the largest of the Stitched Squares Dies, stamped and attached with adhesive of choice
Be sure to do all stamping, coloring, decorating before attaching to card base
To attach to card base…
Mark the center point both at the bottom of the card base and close to the center fold of the base
With ‘explosion’ piece completely closed, line up points on the diagonal with center points on card base and adhere to bottom half of card base. Make certain the card base will open and close easily.
Add adhesive to remaining portion of closed ‘explosion’ and close card front. Bingo –
NOTE: Decorate card front before attaching the ‘explosion’ piece.

Hello Sunday! We are slated to have a pretty nice day today – after a drenching rain yesterday that we desperately needed. Those fires in South Jersey did not affect us personally, but they weren’t far. Lots of businesses destroyed & 15,000 acres burned. We needed this rain to put out remaining hot spots on the forests floor. Sigh.
Today’s card is about new life – a baby boy – and I’ve used the carrying over Cutest Onsie Bundle to make it, and Balmy Blue.
I began with by stamping a Balmy Blue panel (4 x 5 1/4) with these cute ‘clouds’ (think dreamy 🙂 and Balmy Blue ink. I then stamped the ‘onsie’ with Memento ink and with a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends, colored the neck, sleeves and bottom edges. I also stamped the star in Memento ink. I die cut the onsie and set it aside. Next I stamped the sentiment on two pieces of Lemon Lolly card stock, inking just a portion of the sentiment for each stamping. It was stamped in Azure Afternoon ink I adhered the strips with liquid glue then paced the onsie on dimensionals and overlaid the strips The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems in Lemon Lolly. This panel was adhered to Basic White 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 then attached to a card base of Balmy Blue (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the onsie with Memento ink on a piece of Subtles 6×6 DSP (Balmy Blue of course) and while die cutting, I also die cut the pocket for the onsie. I adhered it directly to the Basic White inset (4 x 5 1/4) then stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink and the hearts too. This was attached to the inside of Balmy Blue card base for the completed card.
For the envelope, more of the Subtles 6×6 DSP in Balmy Blue was added to the flap and trimmed to fit. This added touch just unifies every project – love this! And there ya go… a baby boy card for a new little one.

Good morning & happy hump day :O) Yesterday I shared a four panel card – today is a three panel card. I used Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP but any DSP could be used. Remember that this Fruit Salad DSP is available for two more days only as it’s a freebie with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration, which ends at end of day Feb. 28. Here are the two cards I want to share.
These cards have the same layout, even the same Mixed Labels Bundle for the sentiment & die cut. The differences are the ribbon and embellishments: Daffodil Delight 1/4″ ribbon on the card at left and Peach Pie Ribbon on the card at right. Embellishments for those cards are Iridescent Foil Gems and Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
For the inside, I added a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel on the card at left and fussy cut a pineapple for the card at right & adhered it to the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel.
For the envelopes… more of the Fruit Salad DSP on the flap adhered & trimmed to fit. Again, I fussy cut an image from the DSP for the card at right

Hello, hello. My card begins with Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I added a layer directly to this with Daffodil Delight, 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. I set this aside to create the four panels using Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP, a free item during Sale-a-bration (only three days left!).
What I particularly like about this is the way it looks as though the sun was shining with rays extending. The panel is first cut 3 1/2 x 4 then trimmed to four panels of 1 x 3 1/2 strips. They were layered on Basic White each cut 1 1/8 x 3 5/8. Dimensionals were added to the backs and attached to the card. I used a scrap of Daffodil Delight to die cut the background for the sentiment using the Mixed Labels Dies. I used the Mixed Labels stamp set for the sentiment , Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White and another of the Mixed Labels Dies to die cut it, then attached with dimensionals. The very fun die cut beneath is also from the Mixed Labels Dies and adhered directly beneath and to the card front. The final touch are three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins. This is a perfect use of DSP – and a masculine card too – at least in my opinion. Of course that depends on the DSP used.
For the envelope, I added more DSP to the flap & trimmed it to fit.

Our family is gathering for a celebratory weekend in a magical place called Mohonk Mountain House. There is a covering of snow that is just beautiful. And it is c-o-l-d. All kinds of activities are offered: ice skating and archery, hiking (guided or unguided), a pool & sauna. As I said, it’s magical.
My card for today is one I made for a minister friend of ours, age 94. He has made such a positive impact on others, a really good man. The card base is Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I added a layer embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder, 4 x 5 1/4 and set these aside.
On a Basic White panel I stamped the cross image with fronds in Garden Green ink using the Faith Collection stamp set. Then with the Faith Collection Dies and Country Woods 12×12 DSP, die cut the cross and adhered it to a plain cross then attached both with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Faith Collection stamp set in Highland heather ink and added two Tinsel Gems Three Pack in Fresh Freesia.
I adhered this panel to a Garden Green piece, then Highland Heather as well. I wrapped these with Natural Tones Linen Thread & tied a bow, adhering in place with a glue dot. I added dimensionals to the back and attached to the card base. :O)
For the inside… I pulled another stamp set called Courage & Faith and stamped the sentiment in Memento ink on a Basic White panel, then each of the leafy stamps too. I colored the leaves with Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends, adhered the panel to the inside and the card was complete.

Today’s card is just full of hearts and love and could easily be used for a wedding or anniversary OR Valentines card! I had so much fun playing and pulling out papers to coordinate.
I used the Marbled Elegance ONLINE EXCLUSIVE DSP for the very top two layered hearts & the largest most colorful heart. The stripe heart & the heart with circles are from the 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP, Pretty in Pink. The other two hearts are from a leftover piece that I had color blended with various shades of pink. All of these were die cut with the Hearts of Elegance Dies. These are layered on a Basic White panel run through the So Swirly embossing folder, which was then added to the Thick Basic White card base. The bow is made by pulling apart the strands on the White Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essentials Pack – and adhered to the heart with a glue dot. I added three Blooming Pearls in Gold, which are from the 24-25 Annual Catalog. This is the link to the card when I created the sheet with Blending Brushes and several shades of pinks.
For the inside I stamped this sweet heart in Pretty In Pink ink then added another double bow using an additional length of the taken apart White Bakers Twine. It was added with a glue dot.
For the envelope, I used another piece of the 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP to cover the flap, then stamped the very same heart as the inside on the envelope front.

Good Saturday morning! It is crisp this morning on the East coast, which made for a beautiful walk. For my card this morning, I’m using a retired DSP as the fun fold part and DSP from the Sep-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog. It made for a fun creation.
The retired DSP is Joy of Christmas 12×12 and the birds are directly die cut from the Nests of Winter 12×12 DSP using the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. The birds are dimensionals on a Basic White banner die cut from the Greetings of the Season Dies. The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler Satin Ribbon. Now let’s open the card to see what’s inside.
The Basic White panel is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and comes from the Greetings of the Season stamp set – so I used the bundle on this card. The pine frond on this panel is a Shaded Spruce die cut from the Golden Greenery Dies. The larger pine branch is a die cut from the Graceful Greenery Vellum using a matched die from the Golden Greenery Dies. And because it’s vellum and see through, I added a Basic White behind it, die cut with the same die. Now let’s open this the other way to see the other side of the DSP.
I added this beautiful die cut in Basic White – just cuz – the panel needed something more. This also comes from the Golden Greenery Dies. And in this photo, you can see the DSP is adhered to a Cherry Cobbler base. For the measurements and card cuts, see below.
