Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Kisses for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Thursday blog hop! You may have come from the fabulous Tara and seen her fun creation – & now you are here. We have a sketch challenge today & I have chosen to use the Snowflake Kisses bundle and Peaceful Garden Glimmer paper to show off the beautiful snowflakes. I hope you like!

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Kisses card front

I began by die cutting several snowflakes from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper. It has three colors: silver, blue and gray – I’m using the first two – the silver & blue. I’ve also chosen to use the Traditional Labels Dies for the center die cuts in Cloud Cover & Basic White. The sentiment is stamped in Azure Afternoon with the Snowflake Kisses stamp set. The ribbon is Silver Edged Ribbon in Misty moonlight.

The card base is Cloud Cover with an added layer of Azure Afternoon just a bit smaller. Then I added a strip of Peaceful Garden DSP upon which I layered the snowflakes & the sentiment panel in the center. Only this sentiment banner is on dimensionals. As you can see, I layered the larger die cut snowflakes and I also colored three of the Faceted Snowflakes with a Stampin’ Blends Dark Azure Afternoon. The other two I left uncolored.

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Kisses inside card

For the inside… I added a strip of the same Peaceful Garden DSP as is on the front to a Basic white panel & adhered an additional die cut snowflake from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper. I added the extra little bits of die cuts from one of the snowflakes – simply because they were available & I wanted to use them. 😀

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Kisses card & envelope

For the envelope… I adhered the last of the die cut snowflakes from the the Peaceful Garden Glimmer paper (in silver) to the front of the envelope & added a starry piece of Peaceful Garden DSP to the flap & trimmed to fit. Finis!

This is another one of those cards that is so flexible – this time because of the sentiment on the front & no sentiment on the inside. If needed, I could stamp – ‘thinking of you’ or ‘happy birthday’ or ‘just because’ – and it is easily a masculine card as well. Don’t you love the versatility??? Thanks so much for stopping by.

Now… on with the hop… choose the next button or click on a name – either one, be sure to visit everyone! Happy Hopping.

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Pines Bundle for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday – and welcome to our fun hop! We have a sketch challenge today that suggests lots of opportunities. I have chosen to use the Delicate Pines Bundle and Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP to create a pretty Christmas card.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Blog Hop Sketch Challenge

Stampin' Up! Delicate Pines Christmas Card front

I used Old Olive for my card base and added a layer of Secret Sea then Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP. I added a strip of Secret Sea to follow the sketch challenge. I then fussy cut this pretty snowflake from the designer series paper. I set this aside while die cutting several pine boughs from Cloud Cover card stock. I attached some to the back of the snowflake with Stampin’ Seal, punched a circle with the 2 3/8″ circle punch from Secret Sea card stock to add to the back for stability and to hold the fragile pine boughs in place. I added dimesnionals to this and attached it to the card front. I slipped in more pine boughs where I though the card needed them, attaching with dabs of liquid glue. As a final touch, I added a single red Faceted Snowflake to the center.

Stampin' Up! Delicate Pines C'mas card inside

For the inside… on the Basic White panel I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Pines bundle in Shaded Spruce ink then stamped the oh so beautiful pine branches in Old Olive ink that I added secret Sea ink with a sponge dauber. This was added to the Secret Sea card stock panel then to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Delicate Pines C'mas card & envelope

For the envelope… more Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front I used the same beautiful pine bough from Delicate Pines stamp set, inked it with Old Olive ink then used a sponge dauber to create depth & interest. Done!

To me, this is a very masculine card… and I like that! I find it rather difficult to create a masculine type card for most occasions. 🥴 Now… before you get on with the hop, card cuts are listed below as well as a way to purchase these products and other Stampin’ Up! products from me.

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Fall Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to Thursday and the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Our theme today is an autumn card and I’ve chosen to make an avid card using the Amber Autumn Bundle and other products in the Autumn Toile Suite of products on pages 39-43 in the September – December 2025 Mini Catalog. If you look at page 42, you will see a similar card , I’ve just added a few items to make it a bit more wow!

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn card front

Then card base is Basic Beige with an added layer of Early espresso & a slightly smaller layer of Amber Toile DSP. I created two strips (banners really) using the back side of the larger DSP panel. I trimmed the ends using the new & fabulous Party Banner Dies. With the largest of the circles in the Stitched Shapes Dies, I cut a circle from Gathering Together Specialty DSP. I turned this saame paper to the other side and die cut several leaves with the Amber Autumn Dies. With this die, then ‘vein’ of the leaves pops out. I mixed up those ‘veins’ and put them in other die cut leaves. The only one I left with it’s original center is the leaf die cut from the same side of the DSP as the circle. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink with an Amber Autumn sentiment, then popped the circle on the card front with dimensionals. I added the die cut leaves with liquid glue except for one – that’s on mini dimensionals. I tied a double bow with the coordinating Early Espresso Thread and attached it with a glue dot. Final touch… two Streaked Dots from the suite of products

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn card inside

For the inside… I stamped the acorn & leaf image with Basic Beige ink. It comes from the Amber Autumn stamp set and it’s a favorite image! I then stamped the sentiment, also from the Amber Autumn stamp set in early Espresso ink. This Basic White panel was added to an Early espresso piece then attached to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn card & envelope

For the envelope, another piece of the Gathering Together Specialty DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, I die cut another leaf using the Amber Autumn Dies and Gathering Together Specialtyb DSP and attached it with glue to the front. This card is being sent to a special person who has a September birthday 😀. I really like this card.

Want to make this card? See the photos below & shop with me. Card cuts are listed below as well. For every order of $50 & above from today Sep. 3 to Sep 10, I will send not only the monthly tutorial (for September it’s the Amber Autumn bundle!), but a package of the Hues of Blue Flowers. Get double daisy patch rewards too. Daisy Patch rewards is my way of thinking my customers for shopping with me. For every single order of $50 or more before shipping & tax, and every full increment of $50n order (before shipping & tax), earn double the daisy patch rewards during this week Sep 3 – Sep 10, 2025. Those rewards add up, and when you have 8 daisy patch rewards you’ll receive $40 worth of Stampin’ Up! product from me. Got it? good!

Stampin’ Up! NEW Delicate Pines for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog hop

Welcome to our weekly blog hop! We have a sketch challenge today and I’m using the Delicate Pines stamp set to create the snowflake for my centerpiece and the Snowflake Kisses Dies for the background. These are ONLINE EXCLUSIVES being released Wed. Sep 3 and are part of the Elegant Pines Snowflakes Suite of products – both are bundles. The Designer Series Paper in the suite is called Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP & it comes in the 12×12 size. It’s gorgeous – I used the ‘back side of one of the papers.

Stampin' Up! Delicate Pines card front

These. are so non-traditional colors that it sorta makes me second guess myself – and yet, it’s growing on me! I used the Color Wheel for help… 😀 So how to make this card.

  • Add an adhesive sheet to the Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP cut 4 x 5 1/4. Run through the cut & emboss machine to create die cut, remove backing on Adhesive Sheet and add to a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. Put dimensionals on the back and add to a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
  • Cut a strip of Beautiful Bokeh 6×6 DSP 1 1/2 x 4 and add over the die cut piece.
  • Stamp the snowflake image using the Delicate Pines stamp set (remember this is also a bundle, so it has dies!) with VersaMark ink on a 3″ square of Berry Burst card stock. Sprinkle with WOW! White Embossing Powder and heat set. Once cooled, die cut with 2nd largest circle of Stitched Shapes Dies and add to card front with dimensionals.
  • Add a single embellishment in the center of the snowflake – Two-tone Sparkle Gems.
  • Card front is complete!!!
Stampin' Up! Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack card inside

For the inside… when die cutting the snowflake background, there is a center circle that also is die cut. I set it aside at the time and added it to a Basic White inside panel (4 x 5 1/4), removing the adhesive sheet to attach it. The Greetings For All Seasons Mix & Match Ephemera pack has the perfect sentiment – and I added it with liquid glue. As a final touch, I added two more of the Two-Tone Sparkle Gems next to the sentiment. I added the panel to the inside of the card – and one & done!

For the envelope… pictures below… I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink using the Delicate Pines stamp set on the front of the envelope. For the flap, I added more of the Elegant Pines Snowflakes DSP and trimmed to fit. As I said… it’s growing on me 😀

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and time for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog hop! We have a color challenge today and I’ve chosen the Charming Day bundle, an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. I’ve used a lot of colors on this card and I think I’ve pulled it off. Hope you like it too.

Stampin' Up! blog hop logo
Stampin' Up! blog color challenge
Stampin' Up! Charming Day card front, color challenge

I began by coloring a piece of Basic White card stock with Blending Brushes: Strawberry Slush, Garden Green & Old Olive, Darling Duckling and Fresh Freesia. I then stamped this beautiful bouquet from the Charming Day bundle in Memento ink directly on the colored paper. Using Stampin’ Blends I enhanced some of the colors in the flowers & leaves: Strawberry Slush, Fresh Freesia and Old Olive. I added Wink of Stella to the flowers for a bit of sparkle, then die cut the image using the Charming Day Dies. I set this aside and die cut the small leaf image using another of the Charming Day Dies and set this aside to work on the background of this floral creation. I wanted texture, so pulled out the Glass Garden EF and embossed a Basic White panel. On page 45 in the upcoming Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog is a package of TWO Tone cardstock called Keeping Traditions. I pulled out the Pool Party, cut it to about 3 1/4 x 4 then tore it to reveal the white inner. I adhered these torn pieces to the embossed panel, then added the stamped & colored floral piece with dimensionals. I adhered this to Strawberry Slush just slightly larger and attached both to a Pool Party card base. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Charming Day stamp set in memento ink and die cut it with the Stitched Shapes Dies. I placed the die cut leaves and adhered with liquid glue adding the sentiment die cut with a dimensional over top. Final touch for the card front – 2 things… first the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Strawberry Slush, then a double Linen Thread bow adhered with a glue dot.

Stampin' Up! Charming Day inside card

For the inside… I colored a Basic White panel with Strawberry Slush in kind of a heart shape, then Stamped the sentiment from Charming Day stamp set in Memento ink over top of it. I die cut the flower image from that very first panel of Blending Brush colored paper – Strawberry Slush. I love how this flower ahs variations in the shading, just as a natural flower would. Before attaching it I used the Blending Brush with Old Olive ink still on it and added a bit of background for the flower, then attached the flower in place. This panel was added to Strawberry Slush then attached to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Charming Day card & envelope color challenge

For the envelope… I used the same Glass Garden embossing folder to add texture to the envelope flap. I then stamped the small floral image from Charming Day stamp set in Memento ink on the front – and done!

Stampin’ Up! Traditions of Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s Thursday and you know what that mean – a super dooper hop. Let’s get to it! We have a sketc h challenge today and I’ve used NEW PRODUCTS from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog. Wheee!

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card front

I used Secret Sea for my card base and adhered strips of Traditions of Christmas DSP & Gold Foil to create the front of the card. (card cuts are listed below) I stamped then sentiment in VersasMark ink then sprinkled WOW! Metallic Embossing Powder (gold) and heat set it. This small banner seemed to need some accent – so I cut a length of ribbon 1/2″ Shiny Ribbon in Real Red, angling one end to mimic the banner. To this ribbon i added 3/8″ Irregular Weave Trim with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered these to the card front, put dimensionals on the sentiment banner (die cut with the Traditional Labels Dies) and attached over the ribbons – creating a great accent. NOTE: you could easily create the same thing with card stock. My final step was adding three Traditional Sparkling Sequins – and the card front was complete! Remember these items will be available in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog. You could also join my team now and be able to order these items as part of your starter kit!

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment using the Traditional Labels stamp set and Real Red ink. I then fussy cut the image from one of the Traditions of Christmas SDSP and adhered it with liquid glue next to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Traditions of Christmas card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the same main pattern of the Traditions of Christmas SDSP adhered to the envelope

Stampin’ Up! NEW Amber Autumn Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Sneaky Peeks are so fun – you get to see new products that will be available in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog and I get to p-l-a-y! Or should I say, experiment?! We hasve a challenge for this blog hop – “fall frenzy” and we can interpret that any way we like. So, here we go…

Stampin' Up!n Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

This is a BRAND NEW bundle – part of a suite of products in the Sep-De c 2025 Mini Catalog… Love, love, love this suite of products! We have LOTS of oak trees in our back area and because of that, acorns. That inspired this card – of course along with the theme. 😀 I used Gray Granite for my card base, then a layer of the shiny Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper. It has a brownish coppery kind of look and as I said – is shiny. I then die cut the leaves using the Amber Autumn Dies (it’s one die) using the Autumn Toile DSP with Adhesive Sheet attached. Removing the adhesive sheet, I attached it to the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper. The main image is stasmped in Early Espresso ink and colored with several Stampin’ Blends: Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake & Cajun Craze.I used a Blender Pen to move the Early Espresso ink on the acorn top and on the shading of the acorn, then filled in the rest of the acorns with Crumb Cake. After coloring, I die cut this image with the Amber Autumn Dies. I adhered this to a Stitched Shapes circle (third from largest) in Very Vanilla. This was attached to the card front with dimensionals. As a final touch three of the Streaked Dots, part of this suite of products.

Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn card inside

For the inside of the card… I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink, then stamped a portion of the acorn stamp (also from Amber Autumn stamp set. stamping in the upper right corner, re-inking and stamping in the lower left corner.. This Very Vanilla stamped panel was adhered to an Autumn Toile DSP, then attached to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Autumn Amber card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the same Autumn Toile DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. Again… I stamped a partial image of the acorn stamp from the Amber Autumn stamp set in the lower left corner.

Stampin’ Up! Sunflower 3D and Woven Textures DSP for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Blog Hop! I want to give a shout out to a new person in our Thursday lineup for the blog hop – Nicole Bloxom. Can’t wait to see what she has created for today’s sketch challenge. Welcome Nicole!

So… this has been a stressful week – I learned I must have a heart catheterization tomorrow (7/18) with the possibility of a stent. I’m not used to this – having a cardiologist & all that, testing & so forth. It took my mojo & I’m having a bit of trouble creating… so bear with me. You may remember, I had a knee replacement back in early May – that has meant PT 3 x/ week since then. Today’s card is for my Physical Therapist as today is my last day for PT. WOOHOO!!! And just so you know, I can bend my knee on my own to 120 degrees and walk without a limp – no one would ever know I had a knee replacement. 😀

Stampin' Up! Blog hop Logo
Stampin' Up! Hop Sketch Challenge

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D & Woven Textures card front

I used a new embossing folder from the July ONLINE EXCLUSIVES called Sunflower 3D embossing folder. It’s a stand alone item, which is unusual. I embossed the sunflower then colored it with Stampin’ Blends Darling duckling, Pecan Pie & Garden Green then fussy cut this single flower with my paper snips. I put dimensionals on the back and attached it to a Basic White panel 3 1/2″ square then to Pecan Pie card stock 1/8″ larger. I took Woven Textures DSP & cut it 3 1/2″ square and added that to Pecan Pie cardstock 1/8″ larger, then adhered these squares together as shown. For the background I ran a 4 x 5 14 panel of Basic White through the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder then to another of the same design Woven Textures DSP 1/8″ larger – and attached to the Pecan Pie A2 card base. I used my Early Espresso Marker to ‘flip’ some splatters to the upper portion. The sentiment is from Sunshine Vibes stamp set stamped in Pecan Pie ink on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White adhered to Darling Duckling just 1/8″ wider. This was added to the flower with liquid glue then I added a single mini dimensional under the ‘s’. Myn final touch was three Neutral Matte Dots in Pecan Pie.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine Vibes inside card

For the inside… I wanted something light & positive. Pulling out that same Sending Sunshine stamp set, I stamped the half sun in Darling duckling then the rays (stamped twice) in Crushed Curry, then the sentiment in Pecan Pie – all on a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4. I added this to the same pattern of Woven Textures DSP 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, added them both to the inside of the card – and done! As I mentioned, this card is to my Physical Therapist, but there are two therapists in this office. We joke with one another, share stories, kid around and WORK OUR ROUTINE to get where we need to be. It has been a good experience and I will miss these folks.

Stampin' Up! Sunflower 3D & Woven textures card & envelope

The envelope – keeping it simple, a piece of the same pattern of Woven Textures DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. That’s it. Want to purchase the products to make this card? See below for all the pertinent information. Also – continue on the hop by clicking the ‘next’ button or clicking on a name. Enjoy the hop!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Garden Suite for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Thursday hop! If yo have joined me from the fabulous tara, glad you stopped by. If you jumped in right here – love that too! We have a theme challenge today – BIRDS… and I have chosen the new & wonderful Peaceful Garden Suite, available in the Sep-Dec Mini Catalog. Visit this post to learn more about this suite of products. The only item I did not use was the ribbon – I substituted the 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon, Silver & White. Let’s take a look-see.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Garden Suite for the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Hopo Theme Challenge
Stampin' Up! Peaceful Gardens Sympathy card front

I began with a Misty Moonlight card base 4 1`/4 x 11 scored at 4 1/2 then 5 1/2 – to create a bookfold card.Next I cut a 7/8 x 4 1/8 piece of the Peaceful Garden 12×12 DSP and attached it tot he area between the two score lines. I then used the Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer ribbon to wrap over the DSP, securing with Tear n’ Tape. I then adhered that section to the card base, creating the bookfold. :O) I then tied a length of the same ribbon with a single knot around the ribbon and secured the knot with a glue dot. Next, I took a piece of Basic White 4 1/8 x 4 3/8 & ran it through the Peaceful Greenery 3D embossing folder. Gorgeousness! I adhered this to the remaining card front. With Secret Sea I cut the sentiment panel using the smaller label die in the Peace On Earth Dies. I used an embossing buddy to remove any specks, stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink with a stamp from the Peace On Earth Stamp set,, sprinkled it with Metallic WOW! Embossing Powder in Polished Silver & heat set with the heat tool. I mounted this to the card front with dimensionals. This stunning dove is cut from Basic White with the Peace on Earth Dies. I used a dauber & Cloud Cover ink to add just a hint of color to the edges of the wings & tail. Attach with dimesnionals under the right wing & the bird body.

Stampin' Up! Peace On Earth card inside

For the inside… I stamped the sentiments in Misty Moonlight ink on top of a bit of color of Cloud Cover added with the sponge dauber – these on a 4 1/8 x 4 3/8 Basic White panel.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Gallery for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Wow – tomorrow is THE DAY – the Fourth of July – what are you doing special? Picnic? Fireworks? Friends? Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We have a sketch challenge today that offers so man y possibilities Let’s have a look….

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Krew Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Sketch challenge
Stampin' Up! Beautiful Gallery card front

What do you think – does this work for the sketch? I used a few items in the Gallery Suite of products.. the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP (the reverse side!) the Damask Designs embossing Folder, the Gallery Blooms Bundle (die cuts), and the Beautiful Motifs stamp set for the sentiment. In lieu of the embellishments in the suite, I used the Adhesive-Backed Birds & Dragonflies. Here’s how I created this…

  • Basic Gray card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
  • Basic Gray layer 5 x 3 3/4, embossed with Damask Designs embossing folder. Adhere directly to card base
  • Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP 3 x 4 1/4, backed with card stock for strength (to be added to card front with dimensionals once decorated)
  • Die cuts: created using the Gallery Blooms Dies… Mossy Meadow for the background leaves; Basic White colored with Blending Brushes using Peach Pie and Mossy Meadow then die cut for the middle flowers & a bit of Pecan Pie on the edges of the flowers after die cutting; die cut the front leaves from Basic White then use a Blending Brush & Pecan Pie ink to color lightly. These were layered as shown with liquid glue.
  • The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink using the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, then the Basic White strip ‘bannered’ on the ends with paper snips. It was added with dimensionals.
    • I wrapped the one end with Basic Twine Essentials in gray, three times around and secured in back with Tear n Tape, creating a pattern of lines.
    • Final touch – two of the dragonflies from the Adhesive-Backed Birds & Dragonflies.
    • Attach this completed panel with dimensionals, centering.
Stampin' Up! Gallery Blooms card inside

For the inside… I stamped & die cut this wonderful image in Secret Sea ink and was originally going to use it on the front, then decided not to use it. When it came time to do the inside, I decided to0add the die cut (Gallery Blooms Dies) to the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel. And done!

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Gallery card & envelope

For the envelope… I took the remaining piece of this DSP and added it to the envelope flap & trimmed to fit. To me, this seems like a perfect masculine card – could be used for thinking of you after an illness or sympathy, a thank you – just about anything!
