Welcome to our 2nd hop of 2026! If you came from the fabulous Tara or just popped right in here, we’re glad you stopped in. We have a fun color challenge today and I have chosen Strawberry Slush, Bubble Bath & Real Red for my colors with a new fun fold. Let’s take a look.
Fun Folds can sometimes be difficult or time consuming – this one is not. It begins with a card base 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 scored on the long side @ 2, 4, 4 1/4, 6 1.4, 8 1/4 & 8 1/2 (Strawberry Slush card stock). In the last 2″ section, add adhesive and adhere to the first section, securing just to the score line. This will now be the back of the card. Add your contrasting layer(Bubble Bath) to each panel (4 panels 1 7/8 x 5 3/8). Add your Designer Series Paper (2025-2027 In Color 6×6 DSP) to three panels & Basic White to the last panel – which is the back. (3 panels of DSP 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 & 1 panel of Basic White same size.) Add sentiments and stamping to the Basic White panel. Decorate front with a sentiment (Hearts of Elegance stamp set) stamping in Bubble Bath and die cutting with the Stitched Shapes Dies. Stamp the heart in Real Red, fussy cut and adhere it with a single dimensionals to the die cut sentiment. Add the sentiment with liquid adhesive to the double scored section on the front. Add lots of embellishments for glam… Strawberry Slush and Pretty In Pink Gems (from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.) Here’s how it looks from the top down and a photo of the completed back.
This card folds flat to go into a regular A2 envelope :O) Speaking of the envelope, stamp the sentiment on the front using Real Red ink and the Hearts of Elegance stamp set. Add the same 2025-2027 In Color 6×6 DSP to the flap (Strawberry Slush) – and finis! This is such a quick & easy fun fold and yet it is new and different.

Good day sweet folks… we had card class yesterday using the the Marbled Elegance products from the suite – ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. This is a sweet, sweet set of stamps/ dies – the Heart of Elegance Bundle. Take a peek at the card and notice the deep embossing on the white heart – love! And what I like a lot is that this card could be a masculine card, birthday card, anniversary card, thinking of you card, or a LOVE card :O) It’s versatile. And… this is a fun fold.
I wanted you to see the side view to notice how the center is the fold fold portion. So maybe we call this a ‘center fun fold’??? If you have a better name for it, let me know!
I began with a card base of Real Red 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and layered a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. Cut a Basic White 3 1/4 x 8 and score on long side at 4. Attach to card base, centering and even with the Basic White at top & bottom. Cut two strips of DSP 7/8 x 3 3/4 and add to side edges. They will lay up against the center folded panel. (my DSP strips are 3/4″ wide and I didn’t like all the white. Trust me, it looks better with wider strips!) Add the Marbled Elegance DSP 3 x 3 3/4 to the front of this panel. Now cut a heart from Gold Foil and another from Basic White and adhere together. Attach with dimensionals to the fun fold panel. I stopped here but there is more that could be done: add adhesive-backed gold hearts from the suite, add a bow using the gold twine in the suite; or add a sentiment banner across the front. Because I have someone specific in mind for this card, I knew they would prefer something more on the simple side – and it’s gorgeous as is – in my opinion that is.
For the inside.. my students (remember this was a card class) chose to heat emboss with the Gold WOW embossing powder, the sentiment ‘Love you” from the Heart of Elegance stamp set. I took a scrap strip of the DSP and adhered it across the bottom. I will heat emboss a sentiment, just not now.

Welcome to another hop of the fabulous Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop group! You can see the sketch challenge below and my card. There always so many ways to interpret a sketch challenge. Hope you like this ‘take.’
My card base is Thick Basic White and I paired it with Poetic Expressions 12×12 DSP from the Jan-Apr Min Catalog. I used the fabulous Lifetime of Love bundle – also from the same catalog. The leafy die cut was cut from Rose Gold SDSP and die cut using the Lifetime of Love Dies. The floral spray is stamped in Memento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Color Lifter. The floral spray stamp and the die cut are from the Lifetime of Love bundle – so pretty. The background for the Rose Gold die cut is Basic White, die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink using the Lifetime of Love stamp set. The embellishments are Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots in Copper.
The inside of the card is super simple! I the same Poetic Expressions DSP design as a background for the sentiment panel. The sentiment panel is Basic White and stamped with a sentiment from Lifetime of Love stamp set and Mossy Meadow ink.
The Lifetime of Love stamp set has this sweet leaf stamp and I used it with Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the image. The flap is covered in the same pattern from the Poetic Expressions DSP. Hello to the weekend! Hope you have something fun planned. We’ve hads a week of pretty nasty weather – cold, windy, rain (like pouring rain). Today we were able to walk without getting drenched.
I pulled out another new product for today’s card – can’t believe I haven’t played with this bundle yet – Lifetime of Love Bundle. This set can be used for so many cards: anniversary, just because, valentines, wedding. I especially love the dies :O) And here’s just one of them.
I die cut the image from Delightful Floral 12×12 DSP – a Calypso Coral side, using the Lifetime of love Dies. I then colored the flower with a sponge dauber and Calypso Coral ink. Next I added more color to the leaves: Pretty Peacock then Parakeet Party, both with sponge daubers. I pulled Petal Pink card stock, ran it through the Softly Sophisticated 3D embossing folder (a FREE Product with a qualified order during Jan-Feb 2024 Sale-a-Bration), then tapped it lightly with the Whisper White ink pad. I laid the die cut image on the embossed panel to determine where the sentiment should be, then stamped that sentiment from Lifetime of Love stamp set in Early Espresso ink.āI probably should have stamped it prior to the embossing, but didn’t. – shame on me. It still turned out well. I adhered the die cut piece with small dabs of liquid glue and added it to the card front. I cut a piece of Basic White slightly larger and adhered the two together, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to a Petal Pink card base. For a bit of flourish, I added three Iridescent Foil Gems from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog and a bow from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack in Petal Pink. This duo is in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.
For the inside, I stamped the leaf from Lifetime of Love stamp set using Parakeet Party ink than a sponge dauber to bring in some Pretty Peacock. The sentiment is from Lifetime of Love stamp set and is stamp in Pretty Peacock ink. If you have never tried adding extra depth of color with a sponge dauber – DO! It can make a dramatic difference. Here I wanted a subtle effect of color on the leaf and like it a lot.
For the envelope… I ran just the flap of the envelope through the embossing folder by placing the the flap inside the embossing folder and folding the remainder of the envelope under the folder. You can see the direction is different, but that’s ok. For the front of the envelope, I stamped the floral image in Calypso Coral ink – and that was that.

We have a theme challenge for today’s hop – love. I don’t tend to be a big Valentine sender/ giver, but I really like this Country Bouquet Bundle. I’ve taken a bit of a modern approach without DSP.
Silver heat embossing, a bit of scoring and some gorgeous Simply Elegant Trim in silver highlight this card. And of course, the heart uses the Country Bouquet Punch from the Country Bouquet Bundle. The words and hearts are from the Country Bouquet stamp set.
The ‘how to’:
Begin with a card base of Thick Basic White scored in half. This can work as 8 1/2 x 5 1/2scored at 4 1/4 or 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
Using the Scoring Tool and the back side of a Basic White panel, create five score lines. Why the back side? Scoring creates an indentation and I wanted the scoring to be raised. After scoring, turn card stock over & bingo!
On a piece of Basic White, rub the piece with the embossing buddy to remove finger prints or anything that would cause the embossing powder to attach itself; stamp the hearts from Country Bouquet stamp set with VersaMark ink; sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Once cool, punch with the Country Bouquet Punch and set both hearts aside.
Determine where on the card front panel the large heart will be placed, rub entire right side of card with the embossing buddy. Stamp the two open hearts from the Country Bouquet stamp set with VersaMark ink, then the words ‘for you’. Sprinkle both with silver embossing powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
Add large heart with dimensionals.
Add silver bow using the Simply Elegant Trim and adhering with a scrunched glue dot.
Add three Pearl Basic Jewels for additional elegance.
Add this panel to a Silver Foil Specialty Paper panel slightly larger, then add to card front. Done!
For the inside, I added a length of Silver Foil Specialty paper to the left side with liquid glue, cleaned the area to be stamped with the embossing buddy, inked the sentiment with VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and heat set. The smaller heart that was stamped & punched at the same time as the larger heart was added with liquid glue. This panel was added to the inside of the card and all done.
For the envelope, I again used the embossing buddy to clean an area for the enclosed hearts from the Country Bouquet stamp set; stamped them with VersaMark ink and sprinkled with the silver embossing powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. For the envelope flap, I wanted a soft pink so added a piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP (FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration!)
