Stampin’ Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to another fun BLOG HOP by our creative group. I can’t wait to see what others have made for the hop today. We have a color challenge.

Stampin' Up! Color Challenge for Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold w/ Bright & Beautiful 6x6

Can you see all those colors in the color challenge in this DSP? Blueberry Bushel is the card base; Lost Lagoon is the ink on the sentiment, and Pretty Peacock is in the DSP, Moody Mauve is in the DSP too. So, I’m covered – whew! Isn’t this a fun card? I had such fun creating it!

  • Card base is 8 x 5 1/2, score at 2, 6 on long side
  • On the short side, cut @ 1 1/4″ on both short sides between score lines
  • On the long side, score @ 3″ & 5″ between cut lines
  • On the long side, score @ 4″ from top & bottom to cut line
Stasmpin' Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold basic form
Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold from the top

In far left photo is how your card base should look after all cutting and score lines have been made. The photo next to it shows the image from the top.

Now it’s time to decorate with DSP & die cuts and all that good stuff.

DSP & center layers:

  • DSP for side front panels: 1 7/8 x 5 3/8, cut 2
  • DSP for small sections: 1 7/8 x 1 1/8, cut 4
  • Center card stock: 2 3/8 x 3
  • Center DSP: 2 1/4 x 2 7/8

Adhere center layers together & add to small center section of card.

Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold side DSP panels
Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Gate Fold DSP panels & center panel

In photos at left, it is clear where the various panels should be added, whether by liquid glue or Stampin’ Seal. I prefer the liquid glue as it allows for flexibility. It is up to you, however.

Now it’s time to decorate! I used Bright & Beautiful 6×6 DSP for the balloons and the added panels of DSP adhered to the card base & center section. I used Beautiful Balloons stamp set and Beautiful Balloons Dies for all the die cuts – including the center sentiment banner, stars and tassel. The stars & tassel were die cut from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVE Silver & Gold Adhesive-Backed Glitter Paper (LOVE THIS!) Because the glitter paper is adhesive backed, I die cut another tassel in white to adhere to it. On the smaller balloon, I added Gold Celebrations SDSP to the Bright & Beautiful DSP prior to die cutting. I colored a couple of strings of White Baker’s Twine with Light Blueberry Bushel Stampin Blends & tied them around the balloon bottoms and attached the ends with a rolled glue dot. I also added Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Gold to further the gold effect. On the back, I added a 1 1/2 x 4 Basic White strip to a side panel to write my message. And the card was done!

Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Fun Fold card & envelope

On the envelope I added a 2 1/4 x 6 piece of Bright & Beautiful 6×6 DSP and trimmed it to fit. I stamped the front of the envelope with Lost Lagoon ink and a sentiment from Beautiful Balloons stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today. Now it’s time to hop along to see what others have created. Click on the next button or name to get you where you want to go. ENJOY!

Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning! We have a sketch challenge for today’s hop and it was extra fun.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog hop
Stampin' Up! Blog hop Sketch Challenge
Stampin' Up! Earthen Textures for the Hop 9/28

You can see I did not deviate from the sketch at all… and that’s unusual for me. I usually do something different. This is a great masculine card – and I have trouble making those. But this DSP: Earthen Elegance DSP is perfect for a ‘man card.’ I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut the various patterns from the Earthen Elegance DSP. The card base is Copper Clay card stock (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2) which coordinates with this designer series paper. I cut another piece of the Copper Clay just slightly smaller than the card front and ran it through a Basic 3D Embossing Folder (flower) from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. There are three embossing folders in this set. I wrapped a Copper Ribbon around it after embossing and secured it in back with Stampin’ Seal. The ribbon comes from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack found in the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. (You will find links both to the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES and to the mini catalog below.) I then attached the die cut circles: the largest with liquid glue, the next size with dimensionals and the smallest with dimensionals and liquid glue where it overlaps. I added three Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots in Copper for a bit of glam. I also tied a knot with more of the Copper Ribbon and secured it in place with a glue dot. And the front was complete!

Stampin' Up! Earthen Elegance card inside
Stampin' Up!
 Earthen Elegance card inside.2

I stamped the sentiment using Early Espresso ink with the Earthen Textures stamp set on a Basic White panel. I appreciate how clean the words are! I then ran a die through on this same panel from Earthen Textures Dies that does not cut, but leaves an impression instead. The second photo above shows that better.

Stampin' Up! Earthen Elegance card & envelope

For the envelope I used more of the Earthen Elegance DSP for the flap and trimmed it to fit. For the front, I stamped another sentiment from the Earthen Textures stamp set in Early Espresso ink – and one & done! I really like how this card turned out and alrecy know to whom it will be given :O)

Now… time to move on with the hop. Click on the ‘next’ button or click on a name to take you to each of those participating today. Have fun on the hop!

Stampin’ Up! Fall Leaves Theme for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Fall Leaves Theme Thus hop 9/7
Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Double Easel Card

This is how it looks from the side.

Stampin' Up! Double Easel card side view

This is a double easel card and not complicated. There ARE a lot of steps cuz there’s coloring with both Watercolor Pencils and Blending Brushes. So… let’s start with those first.

Leaves from Autumn Leaves stamp set & Autumn Leaves Dies

  • Ink the leaf from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry ink.
  • With that still ink on the stamp, with various Blending Brushes add dabs of Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow. I find it best to tap the ink on lightly, especially if the color is strong.
  • Stamp on a Very Vanilla panel. Clean stamp and repeat process so there are two leaves stamped. You will note in my photo, one is much lighter than the other – that was intentional!
  • Die cut leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies & set aside.
  • Die cut leaf veins with appropriate die from Autumn Leaves Dies using scraps from both Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake card stock.
  • Adhere to appropriate stamped & die cut leaves with dabs of liquid glue – DO NOT PUT GLUE ON THE TAIL OF THE VEIN!

Bird – Perched In A Tree stamp set with coordinating Aspen Tree Dies

  • Stamped this very fat robin in Stazon ink on a Basic White scrap. Stazon because it stamps so very clearly and does not bleed at all when colored.
  • Watercolor Pencils: Early Espresso & Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Real Red. I listed them this way as they will be used in pairs as listed.
    • With a flicking motion, begin adding color to the robin with Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil. This is a base layer and need not be too heavy. The reason for the flicking motion in lieu of back & forth coloring is it look more natural, more feather like. Refer to the photo for where this color should be added.
    • Add Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil in the same way.
    • Now add more Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil until you are satisfied.
    • Switch to Pumpkin Pie and do the head & chest, flicking as you go to make it look like real feathers. Change direction of the flicking too – or… turn the robin to make the motion easier for the particular direction.
    • Add Real Red Watercolor Pencil, more on the top and under the beak, still flicking making it feather-like.
    • Add Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil to the beak and to the feet
    • Die cut with die from Aspen Tree Dies – set aside.

The base for a Double Easel Card:

  • I used Crumb Cake card stock… 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 & 2 3/4; the bottom half is also Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, scored at 2 & 1/4. Burnish well all score lines.
  • Adhere the 1/4 scored area to the inside of the card base that is not scored.
  • Add a Very Vanilla panel 4 1/4 x 5 3/8 to the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 area of the card base, covering the adhered Crumb Cake front piece. This is the inside of the card and could be stamped if you so desired. I left it blank.
Stampin' Up! Double Easel card, inside view

Now let’s decorate… :O)

  • Die cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 5 3/8 with this wonderful open Aspen Tree Die.
  • Add this die cut piece to the front folded section of the card base. NOTE: you are adding this die with glue only on the lower half. HINT: I turned the die over and marked lightly with a pencil, the area to add glue. :O)
  • Lay die right in place over the die cut panel, place cutting plate to score line & run through, cutting that front fold section. You may have to go back & forth a bit, but only cut to the score line!
  • With a craft knife, cut pieces that should be removed per the die.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla in Early Espresso ink. My sentiment is from the Perched In A Tree stamp set and the Very Vanilla is approximately 5/8 by 5. Adhere sentiment with dimensionals over the score line.
Stampin' Up! Perched In A Tree back side of partial die cut

This is what it looks like from the back once adhered and die cut the second time. It’s clear my Exacto knife was not quite sharp enough to make clean cuts. :O(

  • Die cut additional leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies, Aspen
    Tree Dies
    and Distressed Gold Specialty DSP.
    • adhere the two like leaves on the sentiment banner with liquid glue.
  • FRONT section of the double easel…
  • With stamp from Perched in a Tree, stamp the splotches with on Very Vanilla panel 1 3/4 x 4 14 with stamped-off Pecan Pie ink.
  • Add panel to very front of easel section, centering top to bottom.
    • Add reserved stamped leaves colored with Blending Brushes – Autumn Leaves stamp set & Autumn Leaves Dies – with liquid glue.
    • Add Aspen Tree Die in Distressed Gold with liquid glue on one end and dimensional on leaf tip end. This adds depth.
    • Add double bow made with Simply Elegant Trim in Gold with glue dot.
  • Add robin die cut with Aspen Tree Dies with double dimensionals
  • For a final touch… add several Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to this panel and to the Aspen Tree die cut on the top section of the easel.
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Double Easel Card & envelope

For the envelope… I added Neutral 6×6 DSP in Crumb Cake to the flap & trimmed it to fit. For the envelope front I stamped the leaf vein from Autumn Leaves stamp set in Early Espresso ink. My card was inspired by Jo Blackman and a card she made in 2022.

Stampin’ Up! Sneaky Peek of Magical Meadow for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome, welcome! We have a sketch challenge today and I’m excited to share new products from the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog :O)

Stampin' Up! Blog hop Sketch Challenge 8/31
Stampin' Up! Happyn Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop 8/31
Stampin' Up! Magical Meadow bundle

Winter Meadow 12 x 12 DSP is the focus of this card front. Isn’t this paper just gorgeous? It’s soft colors and stunning nature designs just take my breath away. The sketch challenge could have been used with any of the papers from this pack. I used Bordered Ribbon in Lost Lagoon as a nice contrast between the two papers. I adhered the Winter Meadow Designer Series Papers to a Misty Moonlight panel, wrapped the ribbon around the seamline securing it in back with Stampin’ Seal. I put dimensionals on these and attached them to a Misty Moonlight card base. The sentiment is from the Magical Meadow stamp set and is stamped on a Basic White piece in Misty Moonlight ink. It was die cut with a rounded corner die from the Nested Essentials Dies in the Annual Catalog. The sentiment banner was added to the card front with dimensionals. Three Faceted Gems from the Trio Pack were added – in Lost Lagoon, one of the colors in the nature scene.

Stampin' Up! Magical Meadows, inside card

For the inside of the card, I stamped images that resmble the card front – from the Magical Meadows stamp set. The ink colors were Misty Moonlight, stamped off once, then a second time for the second image; Garden Green ink & Shaded Spruce ink, also second generation. These were stamped mon a Basic White panel then it was adhered to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Magical Meadow bundlecard & envelope

For the envelope I did the same stamping on the flapas the inside of the card, allowing it to overhang the envelope front. In the lower left corner I used this fabulous snowflake die from Magical Meadows Dies to create interest. I slipped a thin paper in the envelope before running it through the die cutting machine in hopes it would not go through to the back of the envelope. It did anyway, but it worked and looks fine. LOVE this bundle… the coordinating Winter Meadows Designer Series papers are stunning. I cannot wait ton play more with this suite of products.

Now… it’s time to see what the rest of the ‘krew’ have prepared for the hop challenge today. Click on the ‘next’ button or click on a name. Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Split M Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to another Thursday… and the amazing Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a color challenge for this hop.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop 8/24
Stampin' Up! Color Challenge 8/24
Stampin' Up! Split M-Fold w/ Masterfully Made DSP

I found the directions for this card and it seemed a clever way of making the card more flexible – and just had to give it a try. Susan Campfield was the demonstrator and had another name for it. Here’s what it looks like open.

Stampin' Up! Split m fold w/ Masterfully Made DSP

Notice how there is a gap between the front of the card and the back of the card – that’s the split. And here’s how the card looks from the top.

Stampin' Up! Split M fold w/ Masterfully Made DSP from the top

Directions to make this card are not all that complicated – and all the colors for the color challenge are in the DSP :O) I used Blueberry Bushel for the card base, Pretty Peacock for stamping one of the sentiments and Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist are in the DSP – so we’re good.

  • Cut the card base back from Blueberry Bushel 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
  • Cut the card front in two parts: Blueberry Bushel 1 3/4 x 5 12 & Masterfully Made DSP 3 x 5 1/2
    • Adhere the two front panels together so they measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
  • Cut the ‘M’ section from Blueberry Bushel 11 x 4 3/4 and score on the long side @ 2 3/4, 5 1/2, 8 1/4. Burnish as valley, mountain, valley as shown above.
    • Decorate panels as desired: Basic White layers are 2 1/2 x 4 1/2
    • Panel 1 is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink using the Charming stamp set; Radiating Stitches Dies was used to die cut the heart from Masterfully Made DSP
    • Panel 2 is a layer of Masterfully Made DSP 2 14 x 4 1/4 on the Basic White panel
    • Panel 3 is the same Masterfully Made DSP pattern as the heart, cut 1 x 4 1/4 adhered to the Basic White panel. Here I will write my message.
    • Panel 4 is this pretty stamp from Gorgeously Made stamp set, stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, stamped off once. Over that is another sentiment, this time from So Sincere stamp set (available Sep.6 in the Mini Sep-Dec 2023 Catalog) in full strength Blueberry Bushel ink on the Basic White panel.
  • On the inside of the back of the card, I used the Gorgeously Made stamp set and Blueberry Bushel ink to stamp these pretty images
  • Adhere the now decorated ‘M’ fold to the inside of the card front, keeping bottom edges even with card front; secure to back in same fashion.
  • Decorate the card front:
    • The sentiment was stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink to a Basic White scrap using the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set, then die cut with the coordinating Wonderful Thoughts Dies. This was adhered to the card front with dimensionals cut in half. Three Berry Burst embellishments were added from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack.

I used another pattern of the Masterfully Made DSP to adhere to the envelope, trimmed to fit – 2 1/4 x 6.

Stampin' Up! M-fold w/ Masterfully Made DSP card & envelope

Fun card to make! I hope you give it a try and share your photos with me.

Now, on with the hop! See what creative folks we have on our team. you won’t want to miss a single one!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics for the Happy Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning! How’s your week going? Mine is good, lots going on, but that’s OK. Working with others is medicine for my soul :O) We have a sketch challenge for our hop today and I’m excited to share a new product from the Mini Sep-Dec 2023 Catalog – or maybe a few new products. :O)

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Blog hop Sketch challenge
Stampin' Up! Christmas Classics.1

Let me just say, I am LOVING this bundle! This comes in a suite of products called Joy Of Christmas and includes two stamp sets with dies, stunningly glorious DSP (2 packs), ribbon and gems & sequins. They may be found on pages 28-31 in the Min Sep-Dec 2023 Catalog. If you don’t have a catalog, reach out to me… I can ‘fix’ that!

This is a slimline card… card base is Shaded Spruce card stock with a layer of some of this gorgeous Joy of Christmas 12 x 12 DSP then a layer of Vellum adhered to that and a smaller piece of another panel of the Joy of Christmas 12×12 DSP. Then… I took out this glorious die for the background banner. It includes these off-shoots of leaves and holly, etc. I decided to die cut from yet another panel of the Joy of Christmas 12×12 DSP. I pulled out the Joy of Noel Dies to die cut holly (from Garden Green card stock) and pine sprigs (from Shaded Spruce card stock.) These were added to the back of the banner die cut from DSP with Stampin’ Seal then added to the card front with dimensionals. I pulled out a Basic White scrap and stamped this fun mixed font message which is from Christmas Classics stamp set and stamped it in Shaded Spruce ink. I die cut that with a die from the Christmas Classics Dies and added it to the larger banner with dimensionals. I added the Real Red gems from the Loose Holly and Gems & Sequins Pack.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Classics card inside

For the inside of the card… a piece of Real Red card stock with a layer of Basic White. Before adhering the Basic White panel I stamped it with the holly in Shaded Spruce ink, then the sentiment in Real Red ink. Both come from Christmas Classics stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! does not have envelopes that fit this size card, but I happened to have one in red :O). I stamped the cute holly stamp in Shaded Spruce ink on the front and on the envelope flap – and then didn’t take a picture of it. Ugh!

Card cuts for this card:

Shaded Spruce (card base): 7 x 8 1/2 scored @ 3 1/2 on the short side

Joy of Christmas 12×12 DSP: 2 5/8 x 8 1/2; 1 3/4 x 5 (plaid strip); 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 (banner die cut)

Vellum : 2 5/8 x 5 12

Real Red: 3 x 8 (inside)

Basic White: 2 1/2 x 7 1/2 (inside); 1 x 3 3/4 (front sentiment banner)

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

The theme for today’s hop is “Fall Frenzy” and I had such fun creating these cute treat bags. The hop is Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Amy's Inkin' Krew
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle w/ Treat Bags.1
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves bundle w/ Treat Bags.2
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle w/ Treat Bags.3

The background for the fall tags are the wonderful 2023-2025 In Color Treat Bags.

The tag bases are Copper Clay for 2 and Wild Wheat for one (2 1/2 x 4 1/2). I marked the center & punched the ribbon opening with the Very Best Trio Punch, then used that same punch to trim the top corners. Setting that aside, I worked on the rest of cutting & punching and using the sponge dauber :O). Using the smallest of the Radiating Stitched Dies and Crumb Cake, I cut three pieces. I used a sponge dauber & Cajun Craze ink to color the edges to give each a more rustic look. I cut pieces of Them Bones DSP (from the soon to be released – Sep 6 – Mini 2023 Sep-Dec Catalog), just a bit larger that the Crumb Cake piece. I adhered these two together then to another piece, again slightly larger in Wild Wheat. I guess there is one of these I did the other way around! I added these to the tag base with dimensionals. I then stamped these gorgeous leaves from the Autumn Leaves stamp set, inking them with a sponge dauber in Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat & Lemon Lime Twist inks. They were stamped on a Basic White scrap. Then veins were stamped with Wild Wheat ink. then die cut with the appropriate die from Autumn Leaves Dies. From Pumpkin Pie card stock I punched three ovals for each tag using the Double Oval Punch. I sponged the edges of each of these ovals in Copper Clay then adhered them together to create a pumpkin. The center oval is on dimensionals :O) The leaves were attached to the tag with liquid glue, and the pumkins added next. I tied a double loop bow using Linen Thread and attached it with liquid glue. The ribbons used are: Textured Ribbon in Wild Wheat and that was tied with Lemon Lime Twist from the Ribbon Combo Pack. I adhered them to the bag with Stampin’ Seal. The bag top is simply folded over.

Now, be sure to visit the others on the hop today for they will have some fun ‘fall frenzy’ designs to share. Click on the links or click on a name.

Stampin’ Up! Countryside Blossoms Fun Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning. Is it HOT where you are? It is HOT here… and the humidity makes it difficult to breathe. Ugh… Having said all that, this is a sunshiny kind of card. It’s just fresh looking and clean. And pretty much monochromatic. Did this tease you a bit? Hope so!

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Krew Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Blog Hop Challenge
Stampin' Up! Countryside Blossoms Fun Fold

I began by cutting a length of card stock 4 x 10 and scoring it at 2 1/2 at each end. With the card stock still folded, with the largest die in the Countryside Dies, die cut this piece. The die will hang over a bit on each folded end – this is good! This actually creates the fun fold :O). With the next to largest die, die cut another Basic White piece and emboss it with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. There IS a CENTER point to the embossing folder, a main flower. Use that to center the panel you are embossing.

Stampin' Up! Countryside Blossoms fun fold.2

Attach this embossed piece to the left front fold of the fun fold panel. I chose to decorate this embossed piece just a bit. I had in my stash, a flower already created. It was made with dies from the Paper Florist Dies, Basic White and Crushed Curry card stock. Is this a sweet flower or what! I then added these small Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels, four on each side, on a bump of the embossing. And the front was done.

Stampin' Up! Countryside Dies Fun Fold.2

For the inside… with Wild Wheat card stock, I used the 2nd largest die from Countryside Dies to cut a panel and centered it on the inside of the fun fold. I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink on a Basic White panel and die cut this with the third largest die from Countryside Corners Dies. Another flower was on my desk created using the Paper Florist Dies and I attached it to the card. It used Basic White and Crushed Curry card stock.

I felt this card needed a back as it was only about 3 1/2 x 5 and might get lost in the envelope. I added a piece of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP to a Wild Wheat piece (both 4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and centering the fun fold, added it to the new card base. YAY!

Stampin' Up! Countryside Blossoms Fun Fold.3

For the envelope, I added more of the same Fresh as a Daisy DSP, then stamped the sentiment in Wild Wheat ink. This card can now be used as a thank you, a special occasion, a thinking of you, just about any reason :O)

Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour + Delightfully Eclectic Fun Fold

We have a challenge of a ‘fun fold’ for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop Group today. I’ve combined Delightfully Eclectic DSP and the Color & Contour bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Amy's Inkin' Krew
Blog Hop Group
Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Fun Fold

This fun fold uses a 5 1/2 x 12 piece of Designer Series Paper. Here I’m using Delightfully Eclectic. It’s scored @ 1 3/4, 4 3/4, & 7 3/4 and folded accordian style or valley, mountain, valley. Here’s the finished card, open.

Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Fun Fold inside

Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, cut 3 from Bubble Bath card stock cut 3 1/4 x 4 1/2. Begin by adhering to the back panel first, centering the die cut. Fold DSP at 2nd score line and attach 2nd Bubble Bath die cut so that it is even with the die cut on the bottom panel. Remember, the adhesive will not cover the entire die cut as there is some ‘overhang’. See photo.

Stampin' Up! Color & Contour fun fold

Close entirely and attach the front Scalloped Contour die cut. I do this by turning the die to the wrong side and add adhesive to back side as per this photo. That way I do not put adhesive where it is not needed!

Stampin' Up! Scalloped Contour Dies.3
Stampin' Up! Color & Contour fun fold closed

Cut 3 panels of Basic White card stock and decorate as desired. For the front panel I used a Color & Contour sentiment and stamped it in Memento ink. I then used the blotchy dot stamp and Bubble Bath ink to stamp over the sentiment. I attached this to the front Scalloped Contour die then added a flower already put together from the Paper Florist Dies (cut from Fresh Freesia and Basic White) and added it as you see it. As a final touch to the front, I added three Tinsel Gems in Berry Burst. For the second section of this fun fold, I stamped the flower in Memento ink from Color & Contour stamp set, then colored it with the additional stamps provided: Fresh Freesia for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves. I then stamped the sentiment on this panel in Memento ink. For the last panel I stamped the sentiment from Color & Contour stamp set in Memento ink, then the splotchy dots in Bubble Bath and added the panel. Once everything was together, I attached a panel of Old Olive card stock ( 4 1/4 x 5 1/2) to the very back to add strength and stability to the card. All done!

Stampin' Up! Color & Contour Fun Fold.4

The envelope got more of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the flap, & trimmed to fit. For the front I stamped the leaves in Old Olive, the bud in Memento, then filled the bud with Bubble Bath – all from the Color & Contour stamp set. This is such a sweet, delicate card. I absolutely love it. I hope you do as well.

Now it’s time to continue the hop. Do that by clicking on one of the “previous’ or ‘next’ or a name to continue.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

My June Paper Pumpkin (Welcome Inn) arrived earlier this week and I knew I wanted to use parts of it for this hop/ challenge. The colors of Night of Navy and Calypso Coral are such a wonderful combination. I added a background piece from the Subtles 6×6 in Calypso Coral.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog hop
Stampin' Up! Blog hop challenge
Stampin' Up! Jun PP Alternative

As you can see, I turned the image sideways (again) to create my own version :O). The card base is from the June Paper Pumpkin kit – Night of Navy. The next layer is my addition – Subtles 6×6 in Calypso Coral (3 1/2 x 5). The floral Pattern is from the Paper Pumpkin kit as well and was added with dimensionals. The floral DSP is Countryside Inn, which this particular kit coordinates. and is 2 1/4 x 2 3/8 and adhered directly – except for the right side, which has dimensionals under it. The banner also comes from the klit and was added with dimensionals as well. The Night of Navy embellishments also come from the kit. Great alternative project, right?!

Stampin' Up! June PP Alternative, inside

For the inside, a Calypso Coral panel 4 18 x 5 38 was adhered to the base, then the Basic White panel was stamped: Night of Navy for the vase; Old Olive for the stems and Calypso Coral for the flowers – and yes… these were in the June PP kit!

Stampin' Up! June PP Alternative w/ envelope

The envelope is from the June PP kit and I chose to cover the flap with more of the Subtles 6×6 DSP in Calypso Coral & trimmed it to fit. Hope you likie!

Thanks for joining me today. Yesterday was FREE SHIPPING day by Stampin’ Up! and my order is already shipped – yeeha! Now is still a great time to join my team as a demonstrator and get all the fringe benefits. This special joining goes to 30 June.

Stampin' Up! Joining Promotion

When new team members purchase their Starter Kit, they will be able to redeem $155 of Starter Kit eligible products for just $99

– Shipping of your new kit is FREE!!

When you join as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, you’ll get the following perks:

– 20% discount on all purchases immediately after joining (and for as long as you are an active demonstrator). Plus, you ALSO get to take advantage of any customer specials going on from Stampin’ Up!, too! (Such as the DSP SALE, also starting today.)

– Early peeks at new release items and preorders for new items. A new ONLINE list of products is available to demonstrators June 1!

Why join Stampin’ Up!?

The opportunity to attend Demonstrator exclusive Stampin’ Up! events!

– You’ll have the chance to earn a modest additional income on your sales!

– No pressure to sell to anyone, hold classes or workshops or run a business.  You can simply order for yourself and get the discount!  And as long as you have at least $300 in sales per quarter, you’ll continue as an active Demonstrator and continue to get the discount.  If you aren’t able to maintain the $300 per quarter minimums, you simply go back to being a customer, no commitment required and no penalty if you decide that being a Demonstrator isn’t right for you.

– And should you choose to use this joining special and promote the business side of things, Stampin’ Up! does have lots of class and project ideas as well as training to help start your business, should you choose to do that

You can join with me here.

And remember, the DSP sale is 15% off, also through June 30.
