It is amazing what one finds when tidying their desk! That would be me :O) What I found is this pretty piece of watercolor paper and I decided not to set it aside any longer. I stamped this gorgeous image of the flower from the You Are Remarkable stamp set – in Secret Sea ink – one of the new In Colors available May 6. This is a two step stamp, so the flowers have a ‘filler’ stamp and I used Melon Mambo ink for that; again the leaves have a ‘filler’ stamp and I used Granny Apple Green; and finally, the center is a stamp that is Crushed Curry ink. I stamped the sentiment, also from the You Are Remarkable stamp set, in Secret Sea ink. I adhered this panel to Melon Mambo card stock, giving it a small border, put dimensionals on that and adhered to a 4 x 5 1/4 Secret Sea panel die cut with the largest Textures Notes Dies. This was adhered directly to the 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 card front, scored at 4 1/4 of course. Two steps more for the card front – Wink of Stella on the flower – petals & center and three Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels scattered in a bit of triangle.
For the inside… I used the second largest die from Textured Notes Dies – again available May 6 – and Basic White card stock, to die cut the inside panel. I then stamped the very cute bee buzzing in Secret Sea ink.
The envelope… Another sweet buzzing bee stamped in Secret Sea ink in the front and another of the same flower stamped on the flap, just a portion of it though – with same coloring as the card front. Silly me did not photograph that! :O(
The stamp set, Secret Sea ink and dies will all be available May 6. The other products are in the annual catalog.
Thanks for stopping by. May you have a beautiful day!
Welcome to our fun weekly hop. We have a sketch challenge today that stumped me for a bit. I hope you find it still fits the sketch as it’s a bit ‘outside the box’.
This is a brand newy suite of products that I used on this card… the Turtle-Y Awesome Suite: DSP, stamp set/ dies, embellishments & ribbon. I did not use the dies for this project – I fussy cut the turtles, and I did not use the ribbon. This is a cute set – very different than we’ve had in the past. I don’t see this as a totally kids kind of suite of products. It’s light and fun – at least, that’s the way I look at it!
So the circles are die cut using the Stitched Shapes Dies, second from largest for the bottom circle; 3rd from largest for the next circle and then one more. Honestly I forget where it fits in. I die cut circles from the Turtle-Y Awesome 12 x 12 DSP specifically cuz this card is for a retired piano teacher and there are music notes all over this sheet- and she was fun! And this card, to me, is fun Because the circles were die cut from DSP which is not as strong as cardstock, I layered each on a die cut Basic White circle and adhered them together for strength. The bottom one and middle circles are on dimensionals. The smallest is adhered directly to the card. The turtles, as I mentioned, were fussy cut with my paper snips from the Turtle-Y Awesome DSP and attached with liquid glue. Additional dimensionals were added under the balloon & the chefs cap. The birthday package is die cut from Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade using the Wanted To Say Dies. I found this gold banner in the Wildflower Birthday SDSP, wrote the recipients name with a fine tip marker and attached it with glue dots. The last touch was the Shades of Green Hexagons from this Turtle-Y Awesome Suite. All these will become available May 6 as part of the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. Now that I look at this card – some Wink of Stella is called for: balloon, icing on the cake and the bow!
For the inside… I pulled out two sets of dies for the inside: the Wanted to Say Dies for the Happy birthday sentiment and background, and the Alphabet A La Mode Dies for the #90. I used adhesive sheets on the back of the DSP for the numbers as well as for the Happy Birthday. It made attaching those to the inside of the card so easy! The numbers were die cut from the Turtle-Y Awesome 12×12 DSP. The background of the happy birthday was die cut from the same DSP. The words themselves were from Petal Pink card stock.
For the envelope… more of the Turtle-Y Awesome DSP (do you notice the music notes on the paper?) attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. For the card front I used Garden Green ink for the sentiment, pulled from the Turtle-Y Awesome stamp set and memento ink for the music notes, also from the Turtle-Y Awesome stamp set. Card cuts are listed at the bottom of this post.

Good Monday – and a new week begins… and I’m feeling better, not great, but better. It’s amazing how a cold can wear a person down. But I have a pretty card today to cheer us. It’s made with Wildly Flowering 12×12 DSP with the Moody Mauve papers – and it’s a bit of a fun fold also.
This Designer Series Paper is so pretty and it uses the In Colors from 2023-2025, which means it will be retiring when the new 2025-2026 Annual catalog goes live May 6. And I want to use it!
The original directions for this card call for two Designer Series panels 3 1/2 x 5 1/4, which is what I did. BUT I prefer the panels be 5 1/2 so it stands evenly. Next time… to continue… adhere the panels to the card base 6 1/4 x 5 1/2 scored at 1 & 5 1/4 on the long side. Here I used Moody Mauve card stock. Cut two pieces of Moody Mauve 7/8 x 5 1/4 (or 5 1/2 if revising the DSP panels) and emboss. Here I used the Dashing Designs embossing folder, which is part of the suite.. Adhere these panels on the ends covering where the DSP is attached to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment using moody Mauve ink and the Wildflower Designs stamp set onto a Basic White piece and die cut it with a Tailor Tags die that I extended. I popped this up on dimensionals and attached a bow with a glue dot using the Frayed Grosgrain ribbon from the Iconic Suite (an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE). The final touch was three Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots.
For the inside… I cut a Basic White panel slightly smaller – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 to be sure it did not show when either end of the card was closed. I stamped the image in Memento ink using the Wildflower Designs stamp set, and colored it with Stampin’ Blends, Misty Moonlight & Old Olive. It was added to the inside and the card was complete. Make note of how the opposite side of the DSP shows when the card is open – I love that!
For the envelope, more of the same Wildly Flowering DSP on the flap, adhered & trimmed to fit, and another stamp on the front (same as inside the card) colored with Moody Mauve Marker and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. This suite of products may be found on pages 40-41 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.
What’s nice about this layout is that it works for so many of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers, showing off both sides.

Good Saturday morning. I’v e been under the weather this week – got a full blown head cold, lost my voice, all those things. Ugh… I’m beginning to feel better and hoping to be able to play in my craft room. Today’s card is a sympathy card made with products that as demonstrators we can order early before they become available to the general population. It helps build excitement and give you, the customer a chance to see new products. These will become available May 6 as ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.
This is stunningly beautiful DSP that is called Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP. This photo doesn’t show the colors very well (hmmm) but they are Mossy Meadow & other similar shades of green, Basic White, Basic Beige.
I’ve cut the DSP 3 3/4 x 5 and layered it on Mossy Meadow 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. I wrapped a 3/8″ Classic Ribbon in Basic Beige around this, securing it in back with Tear n’ Tape. I took another length and tied a half knot around the ribbon and secured it in place with a glue dot. I die cut this fabulous flower in Basic White using the Beautiful Motifs Dies and slipped it under the ribbon and secured it in place with dots of liquid glue. It’s quite delicate and next time I’ll use Adhesive Sheets adhered to the card stock prior to die cutting. :O) The sentiment also comes from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. I adhered this in place with dimensionals. I took another piece of Basic White 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and ran it through a new embossing folder (part of this fantastic suite!) called the Damask Designs embossing folder and adhered it to the Thick Basic White card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. The entire card front was attached to the card base over the embossed front, with dimensionals. As a final touch I added three Pressed Flower Motif embellishments.
For the inside… I was playing with the gorgeous dies in this set and this leaf die fascinated me. It die cuts edges but not the entire piece, so sections can be raised. Really cool! It would be a fabulous card front – but that’s for another day… Anyway – this Mossy Meadow panel is 2 x 5 1/4 and adhered to a 4 x 51/4 Basic White and added to the inside of the card.
More Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the envelope front is this very fun stamp from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.

Good morning! Today I am headed to Raleigh, NC for a Stampin’ Up! Convention :O) When you read this, I will have landed and seen several of our Krew Team. This weekend Stampin’ Up! will reveal to demonstrators, the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog!!! Wheee! I can share the cover only, not the inside of the catalog – and I can share products that I receive: stamps & cards that we make, like that. So, I look forward to sharing some of the fun we will be doing, Stay tuned!
Today I am sharing a masculine card made with some of the products in the Botanical Textured Suite of products – ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. We have a sketch challenge – take a look to see what I’ve created.
The Woven Textures Designer Series Papers in this suite are absolutely perfect for masculine cards. This larger background paper looks like woven fibers. (My hubby says it looks like coffee beans!) I cut a piece 4 x 5 1/4 then die cut it with the largest rectangle die in the Textured Notes Dies. It creates a wonderful design around the edge which is obscured here by the patterned DSP (durn!) After die cutting, I adhered it to Basic Beige 4 x 5 3/8 then attached it to the Early Espresso card front (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4). I chose another pattern from the Woven Textures DSP and used the 3rd from smallest die in the Textured Notes Dies to die cut it, then attached it to another Basic Beige panel 2 x 3 3/8, wrapped Linen Thread around it 3 times & tied a knot. This I added to the card front with dimensionals. The final step for the front is the Basic Beige panel with the sentiment from Textured Notes stamp set stamped in Early Espresso ink using the Textures Notes Stamp set, then die cut with the shortest rectangle die in the Textured Notes Dies. This too was added to the card front with dimensionals.
For the inside… Basic Beige cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 adhered to the inside of the card. With a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel, stamp this wonderful woven image from the Textured Notes stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I love how the image ‘fades out’ on the bottom! This panel was attached to the Basic Beige and the card itself was complete.
For the envelope… more of the same Woven Textures DSP to the adhered to the flap and trimmed to fit. And again, the same woven stamp image from Textured Notes stamp set, stamped across the bottom of the envelope front in Early Espresso ink. This could so easily be a thank you card, (just change the sentiment) or a birthday card (change the sentiment) and the layout & Designer Series Paper is perfect for a masculine card. See what YOU can create with this layout and papers – and please share it with me.
Now – time to see what others are creating on this fun hop… check the links below – and enjoy the fun! To shop with me – see information below the lst of names.

Stampin’ Up! is jumping in with some new policies & strategies.
As of April 15, there will no longer be ‘host codes.’ Instead, customers will be earning 10% rewards with every purchase of $20 or more that can be used for their next order. Those rewards must be used within the next year, but they can also be shared or given to someone or saved up and used in one big purchase. Hooray! This does mean my own rewards to customers will be going away – as you, the customer, will be earning rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! This is definitely a win-win.
You DO need to be sure you have an account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards. So, ‘opt in’ to the program to earn those rewards. These changes ,will take place April 15, 2025 at 8AM Mountain time. Yes, this is early – but I want to be certain you are aware of what the future holds – and it’s all GOOD!
I can’t wait to share pictures of teammates and the cover of the new Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, and anything else that’s ‘legal’ to share :O)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a terrifically marvelous day!
As I mentioned earlier, I am in Raleigh, NC for a couple of days at a Stampijn’ Up! convention. Stampin’ Up! will share with the demonstrators present, the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I’m excited to see new products, new techniques, and new colors. What would you be looking for in particular if you were attending this convention? I would love to know!
Hello Friday! Today’s card is a fun fold using the Everyday Arches Dies, the Everyday Skies 6×6 DSP and more. It begins with a full sheet of card stock scored at 4 1/4 on the short side, turn and score at 5 1/2 on the long side. Depending how you want the card to fold will determine which quadrant to remove. For this card, it is in portrait style and I removed the upper left quadrant along the score lines. Burnish all score lines. I trimmed an additional 1/16″ off the inside upper quadrant so it would fold nicely.
In the first photo you see the card closed and the image of the plane that peeks through the ‘window’. In the second photo, it shows the card fully open, with the upper left quadrant removed. :O)
Directions:
Adhere a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 panel of DSP to the card front, inking only along the edges
Using the Everyday Arches Dies, 3rd from largest, center die on the front panel and die cut, creating this wonderful window.
Remove the DSP from the card stock die cut piece. This is a bit tricky as the holes in the die cut tend to hold the pieces together. Be careful not to tear either the DSP or the card stock.
Adhere the DSP to the inside of the upper inside panel of the card as shown in photo 2. I stamped mine using the Adventurous Sky stamp set for the sentiment and the Everyday Arches stamp set for the airplane and Night of Navy ink.
With the upper flip flap closed, adhere another piece of the Everyday Skies DSP, 4 x 5 1/4, to the flip panel, closed – photo 3.
With that die cut card stock window that you saved, die cut it again, this time using the 5th from largest die in the Everyday Arches Dies, making it a smaller arch.
Close the card front and add arch to the ‘star’ covered panel, centering with the card front arch.
With Basic White card stock and the 7th from largest die in the Everyday Arches Dies, die cut a white arch.
Stamp this piece using the Adventurous Sky stamp set and Balmy blue ink for the clouds.
Stamp the sentiment using Night of Navy ink and the coordinating Everyday Arches stamp set. Adhere to the Balmy Blue panel, centering it.
Stamp the airplane in Smoky Slate ink on a scrap of Basic White, using the Adventurous Sky stamp set.
Add color to the plane with Stampin’ Blends Balmy Blue
Die cut propellers from Basic White scrap using the Adventurous Sky Dies. Add with dab of liquid glue.
Add plane to this panel with dimensionals.
The last panel – the sentiment panel… stamp the clouds from the Adventurous Sky stamp set in Balmy Blue ink. I did this twice overlapping just a tiny bit.
Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink – also from Adventurous Sky stamp set.
Envelope…
Add another piece of the Everyday Skies DSP to the flap, trim.
Stamp the clouds on the lower portion of the envelope front with Balmy Blue ink and the Adventurous Sky stamp set.
Stamp the airplane from Everyday Arches stamp set in Night of Navy ink.
This is just a great masculine card! And a fun fold to boot just makes it all the more fun.
The Everyday Arches bundle and the Everyday Skies 6×6 DSP is available in my store through the Stampin’ Up! ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. Go to that link here.
The Adventurous Skies Bundle is in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog and you can find that here.

Good Thursday – & welcome to another fabulous hop with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop group. We have a fun color challenge this week & I’m working with products from the Wildflower Birthday Suite that has all the required colors. Let’s take peek…
This is a Double Flap Fun Fold and it incorporates many of the colors for this color challenge – and it comes from using many of the products in the Wildflower Birthday Suite. I love all the soft colors in this card front: Soft Sea Foam, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Gold. The ribbon is part of the wuite as well… 1 1/2″ Open Weave Trim in Gold. I simply took a length, tied a knot, trimmed the ends to an angle and attached it with a glue dot. And that beautiful bouquet is a punch out from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP. I added it to the card front with dimensionals.
This is the flap layer – like another card! AND… it uses another of the punch outs from the Wildflower Birthday SDSP. I adhered it to this layer then added the sentiment using the Wanted To Say Dies, Pretty In Pink card stock, Gold Foil Sheets with Adhesive Sheets and dimensionals.
This is the inside of the card… the balloon is another of the punch outs from the Wildflower Birthday SDSP and the sentiment is from the Birthday Celebration stamp set stamped with Pretty in Pink ink. This is a very feminine card! I love the soft colors and all the added punch-outs & ribbon. This is a card that will need extra postage – or hand delivered.
For the envelope… I added more of the Wildflower Birthday DSP to the flap and another of the punch-outs to the front of the envelope, bringing everything together.
Below the list of names & connections for this blog hop, are instructions, card cuts for putting this card together. Also, there are changes coming to Stampin’ Up! that I want to share – so see below for purchasing products to make this card & new Stampin’ Up! info!
Enjoy the hop!!! Click the ‘next’ button or click on a name to see what others have created.
NEW STAMPIN’ UP! INFO BEGINNING APRIL 15… I’m giving a very SHORT summary :O)

I will be discontinuing my $10 “gift’ when customers make purchases of $50 or more, but the customer will receive benefits from Stampin’ Up! that make up for that!!! More about my rewards in another post :O)
Card stock prices are increasing with the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog (production costs!). The cost of single-color will be $14 for a pack of 24 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11, while it is currently $13 for a pack of 40 sheets. Assortments will contain 20 sheets. Stocking up now is a good idea!!!
Thick Basic White will only be offered in 12×12 size, for $26.
Paper Pumpkin website will be much more accessible beginning March 11, 2025 with a different address – yay!
The 2025-2026 Annual Catalog will be revealed at the On Stage Convention – I’m attending in Raleigh, NC!
I’m hoping this information helps calm your fears. Stampin’ Up! is working diligently to make shopping with them (and me) a positive experience.
It is Thursday and you know what that means… the fun of this remarkable group hop. We have a sketch challenge today and I have chosen to work with some online exclusive products and a DSP from the ending soon Sale-a-bration catalog – Bloom Impressions.
The daisy flower is from the You Are Remarkable stamp set, an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE set and just lovely. I’m partial to daisies, so this was a definite must have! I also like the fonts in this set… I kept the image large so you can see the detail of the dies in this Textured Notes bundle – also an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. Each rectangular die has a different pattern for the die cut. The sentiment is from the stamp set, Textured Notes, and I like the delicate font without it being too ‘fussy’ or feminine. The ribbon is a freebie as part of Sale-a-bration with a $60 purchase (which ends at end of day Feb 28, 2025 – tomorrow!!!) The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems 3 Pack in Fresh Freesia.
Back to the stamped daisy image… I stamped it in VersaMark ink on this piece of Bloom Impressions 12×12 DSP – another free item during Sale-a-bration with a $60 purchase – sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it. I colored the daisy with Whisper White ink reinker using a water painter brush with water inside. I put a drop of reinker on an acylic block, got the water-painter brush tip wet and added the Whisper White lightly to the daisy portion of the image. This is a pigment ink and takes a bit of time to dry. I used the lightest setting on the heat tool to dry it. I die cut the rectangle using the 2nd to largest die, adhered this to a Basic White slightly larger, added the ribbon around both pieces (Seam Binding Ribbon in Fresh Freesia, a freebie with a $60 purchase until end of day Feb. 28) attached dimensionals on the back & set aside. I used the largest die in the Textured Notes Dies to cut another piece of the same design of DSP – Bloom Impressions and adhered it directly to the Thick Basic White card base. I added the original daisy pieces to the card front (remember they are on dimensionals.) I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White scrap using the Textured Notes stamp set, then die cut it with the smallest of the Textured Notes rectangle dies, added dimensionals and attached over the ribbon on the card front. As I mentioned earlier the embellishments are Tinsel Gems 3 Pack in Fresh Freesia.
For the inside… I had a ‘frame’ left over from the smallest rectangular die cut for this card and added dots of liquid glue to the back and attached it, centering, to the inside of the card. I then stamped this sentiment using Blackberry Bliss ink and a sentiment from You Are Remarkable stamp set.
The envelope… More of the same Bloom Impressions DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. For the front, I stamped the ‘filler’ image of the daisy in Blackberry Bliss ink, then the center in Lemon Lolly ink. And done, ready to send. :O)
What would I do differently on this card? I would use White embossing powder in lieu of clear – so the entire daisy, leaves & all would be more dominant. Otherwise, I really like this card and hope you do as well. To order the items to create this card, see info below the ‘hop names’.
Now – on with the hop. Use the ‘next’ button to take you to Amy Koenders or click on a name to see what others have created.

Good morning & happy hump day :O) Yesterday I shared a four panel card – today is a three panel card. I used Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP but any DSP could be used. Remember that this Fruit Salad DSP is available for two more days only as it’s a freebie with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration, which ends at end of day Feb. 28. Here are the two cards I want to share.
These cards have the same layout, even the same Mixed Labels Bundle for the sentiment & die cut. The differences are the ribbon and embellishments: Daffodil Delight 1/4″ ribbon on the card at left and Peach Pie Ribbon on the card at right. Embellishments for those cards are Iridescent Foil Gems and Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
For the inside, I added a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel on the card at left and fussy cut a pineapple for the card at right & adhered it to the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel.
For the envelopes… more of the Fruit Salad DSP on the flap adhered & trimmed to fit. Again, I fussy cut an image from the DSP for the card at right
Card cuts:
Card base: Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
DSP: 4 x 5 1/4 (adhered to card front); 3 x 4 1/4, then cut into 1 x 4 1/2 strips (adhere to layering panel); 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope flap)
Layering panel: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (Basic White for these 2 cards)
Sentiment: Stamp in Early Espresso ink and die cut with Mixed Labels Dies
Directions:
Attach the 3 DSP panels to the layering panel
Wrap w/ ribbon
Attach sentiment with dimensionals
Add embellishments
Products used:
Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP
Thick Basic White
Basic White
Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Ribbon
Peach Pie Ribbon
Early Espresso ink
Mixed Labels Dies
Paper Trimmer
Dimensionals
Glue dots
What’s so great about panel cards is that depending on masculine or feminine DSP and sentiment chosen, these are a wonderful ‘go to’ layout for any occasion: birthday, sympathy, get well, thank you, thinking of you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. May you have a beautiful day!
Hello, hello. My card begins with Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I added a layer directly to this with Daffodil Delight, 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. I set this aside to create the four panels using Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP, a free item during Sale-a-bration (only three days left!).
What I particularly like about this is the way it looks as though the sun was shining with rays extending. The panel is first cut 3 1/2 x 4 then trimmed to four panels of 1 x 3 1/2 strips. They were layered on Basic White each cut 1 1/8 x 3 5/8. Dimensionals were added to the backs and attached to the card. I used a scrap of Daffodil Delight to die cut the background for the sentiment using the Mixed Labels Dies. I used the Mixed Labels stamp set for the sentiment , Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White and another of the Mixed Labels Dies to die cut it, then attached with dimensionals. The very fun die cut beneath is also from the Mixed Labels Dies and adhered directly beneath and to the card front. The final touch are three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins. This is a perfect use of DSP – and a masculine card too – at least in my opinion. Of course that depends on the DSP used.
For the envelope, I added more DSP to the flap & trimmed it to fit.
