I’m telling you, this is not going to be easy. He’s a gem of a family pet and we’re struggling – not going to lie about it. He’s gentle and loving and made me his ALPHA. He’s been beside me no less than two feet away for a very long time, often lying on my feet or touching me if he could. Today is not a happy day… so bear with me.

Good Monday Morning! It’s President’s Day today. I do remember celebrating President’s Day as a youngster… and found it fascinating how the president’s accomplished what they did. Today, not so much – I’m not even going to go there. Let’s change the subject, shall we?
I have three cards for you today, all using the Beautifully Happy stamp set that is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order. And that freebie ends at end of day February 28. If you want this stamp set, now’s the time… do not wait, do not hesitate š
All the cards are first stamped in Soft Suede ink and colored with Flirty Flamingo & stamped off Old Olive. I have used the same process for each envelope, changing out the bouquet for a single flower. The stamped floral pattern is also fussy cut in all the cards. On this first card, an additional bloom was fussy cut & added with a dab of liquid glue. Each of the stamped floral bouquets is added to the card front with dimensionals.
Card #1: This card uses Playing In the Rain DSP that was die cut with the Framed Florets Dies, added to a Basic White panel slightly larger then added to a thick Basic White card base.A leaf spray and a single leaf were added, die cut with more dies from the Framed Florets Dies. Adhesive-Backed Milky Dot were added: a Mango Melody for the flower center and four White. A Linen Thread bow was tied around the stem and secured with a glue dot.
Card #2: This card began by die cutting a panel of Basic White with the Split Card Textures Dies, and adhering that to a smaller panel of Dandy Designs DSP, then adding it to the card front with dimesnionals. This DSP is also FREE with a $100 order during Sale-a-bration. Two leaf sprays were die cut with the Framed Florets Dies and added with liquid glue, then the floral bouquet added with dimensionals. Again, an Adhesive-Backed Milky Dot was added to the center flower, in Mango Melody. Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Petal Pink, were added for glam, and a Linen Thread bow was added with a glue dot.
Card #3: This card began with a Basic White panel being run through the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder and added directly to the Thick Basic White card base. Another die from Framed Florets was used to make the larger, more intricate die cut. A left over die cut oval from Playing in The Rain was added after placing the plain oval die cut in the center. This created a perfect frame for this card. Two additional leaf sprays were die cut from Basic White and a couple of the small leaves – all with the Framed Florets Dies. Three Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots were added plus a Linen Thread bow.
None of these cards has a sentiment on them, which means they can be used for any purpose necessary. A sentiment could have been added, but I really thought it would detract from the beautiful design.
For the inside of the card, I kept the design really simple for all three cards. A single flower stamped & colored the same as the envelope: Soft Suede for the outline, Flirty Flamingo for the flower, stamped off Old Olive for the leaves and a bit of Mango Melody for the stamped center.
I absolutely love these cards, and of course, the DSP could be changed out and the flowers colored to coordinate and it would look totally different. Such a breath of fresh air!

Good Friday morning! It’s raining here, gray & overcast. UGH. But I have a card for you that will hopefully brighten your day. I’ve chosen to make another Diamond Flip Fold card – just because I found it so much fun – and it makes a statement. I’ve used the Regency Park 6×6 DSP , the Petal Park Bundle (includes the Petal Park Builder Punch) and the Charming Sentiment Bundle (includes the Sentiment Silhouette Dies). You can see the other Diamond Flip Card here.
The card base is Night of Navy and I’ve used Balmy Blue as a background behind the DSP and the stamped diamond on the card front. There is not a lot of writing room as this card shows, but in lieu of DSP on the inside, you could easily have a layer of Basic White to have more room. What’s nice – make it your own by changing it up. You will notice in the photos below that I have not put any DSP on the diamond ends of the card on the inside – as I did on the previous card. It seemed too busy, so I left it off – and, I like it better.
You can see in each of the photos I have used Balmy Blue as a base layer over the Night Of Navy, then either the Basic White or the Regency Park 6×6 DSP. These papers are just so pretty they need showing off! The front Basic White panel is stamps from the Petal Park stamp set. The leaves were done in Shaded Spruce stamped off once – after stamping the outline in Memento ink. The flowers were stamped on a separate panel in Memento ink, then I used the Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends to color the petals + the Color Lifter to ‘move’ the Balmy Blue colors. I found it better to use the Color Lifter to do that than the Blender Pen as that pen tends to ‘poill’ the paper. The floral centers are colored in Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. At this point the flowers were punched and added to the square (diamond) panel with dimensionals.
You can see in this photo above that I stamped the flowers in Balmy Blue (stamped off) to help me with placement for the punched flowers. :O)

Welcome to Thursday… and the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We have a sketch challenge today and I’m using the Fragrant Flowers Bundle and the Favored Flowers DSP to create it.
To make this card I took a panel of Dainty Flowers DSP and adhered it to the Blackberry Bliss card front. I then took a piece of Basic White card stock and ran it through the Split Card Textures Dies and adhered that over the DSP. I then die cut a couple of flowers from the Favored Flowers DSP using the Fragrant Flowers Dies. It is SO COOL when the dies coordinate with designer series papers. I also die cut two leaves from Evening Evergreen and buds from Fresh Freesia – all using the Fragrant Flowers Dies. The two larger flowers were added to the front with dimensionals, the lower flower adhered directly to the card front, and the buds and two leaves adhered directly as well. I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink using the Fragrant Flowers stamp set on a piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP, then die cut it with a die from Fragrant Flowers Dies. That was added with liquid glue and dimensionals on the ends.For a final touch: Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems in Gorgeous Grape and a fun Open Weave Ribbon bow in Evening Evergreen (this was added with a glue dot). Both the Dainty Flowers DSP AND the Favored Flowers DSP are FREE – each with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration!
For the inside, another set of flowers die cut from Favored Flowers DSP added to a panel of Basic White. The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss using a stamp from Fragrant Flowers stamp set. A single Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gem in Fresh Freesia was added.
The envelope… more Favored Flowers DSP to the flap trimmed to fit and a single flower die cut using the Fragrant Flowers Dies and the Favored Flowers DSP – now completed & ready to send. This card is going to a friend who has struggled with knee issue for over a year, just had meniscus surgery on one knee and anticipates the other knee in about a month. Let’s hope this works for her!

Today’s card plays along with the challenge for this week – a birthday card. And it’s a Diamond Flip card that’s fun to do, and did I say easy?
Gosh, the photo is a bit dark… but isn’t this a sweet card? Here’s a photo of it unfolded showing the outside.
And here’s one of it folded showing the inside. Notice the diamond on the left is ‘flipped’, or folded.
And one more photo… this one shows the front again, with the diamond fold to the inside. This way you clearly see how it’s all put together.
Directions:
Cut card base (here I used Granny Apple Green) 4 1/4 x 11 and score at 2 1/8 & 5 1/2
On the 2 1/8 end, mark the center point, on the short side which happens to be 2 1/8.
Fold card in half – on the 5 1/2 score line
Cut from the 2 1/8 score line to the point mark on a diagonal, going through both layers.
Now do the other cut from 2 1/8 score line to point. By cutting both ends at the same time, this makes the ends exactly the same!
Cut a 3″ square, also from Granny Apple Green, and adhere to the 2 1/8 end, adhering just to score line. This allows that end to be flexible.And this is the end to be decorated.
Add a 2 7/8″ square, this time in a coordinating color or Basic White. I chose Textured Shimmer Paper in Balmy Blue
Stamp the floral image from True Beauty stamp set in Blushing Bride ink, then die cut with coordinating die from Organic Beauty Dies.
Stamp the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink using True Beauty stamp set. Die cut with coordinating die using Organic Beauty Dies
Adhere the floral image with dimensionals to the now diamond. Slip the leaves under this a bit and adhere with liquid glue.
Cut a banner 1/2 x 3 1/4 and stamp with sentiment from Sentimental Park stamp set, in Merry Merlot ink. Slip banner just under flower and adhere with liquid glue.
Add bow ribbon with glue dot: Twill Ribbon Combo Pack in Old Olive
Add Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Petal Pink (Jan-Apr Mini Catalog)
Cover floral image with Wink of Stella
Add Balmy Blue panel 3 1/4 x 4 1/8 to card front
Add Awash In Beauty DSP over Balmy Blue, 3 1/8 x 4 1/8
For the inside
Add a 3 1/8 x 4 panel of the Awash in Beauty DSP to the panel on left
Stamp the sentiment using Sentimental Park stamp set and Merry Merlot ink on the Basic White panel (3 1/8 x 4)
Stamp the flower in Blushing Bride ink using the True Beauty stamp set, cover in Wink of Stella then add more Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Petal Pink
Cut a 2 7/8 square from Awash in Beauty DSP, cut in half creating two triangles. Adhere to each inside end
This card fits perfectly in a regular size envelope and I forgot to take a photo! However… here’s what I did… Cut another piece of Awash in Beauty DSP 2 1/4 x 6, add to envelope flap & trim to fit. Stamp a floral image from True Beauty stamp set in Blushing Bride, adding a bit of Merry Merlot to the center with your finger or a sponge dauber, then stamp on front of envelope. Cover with Wink of Stella.

WooHoo, it’s February 13 – do you know what that means? Of course not… but, it’s my birthday today š Yep – right next to Valentines Day… but my friends & family don’t forget. I’ve received some really lovely cards from fellow stampers & I’m going to share several of them with you today.
The one on the left has a fancy corner fold and uses the Fancy Flora DSP; the card on the right uses the Beautifully Happy stamp set that is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order + the Fabulous Frames Dies.
The card on the left uses the Petal Park bundle from the Jan-April Mini catalog while the card on the right uses the Harvest Dies and the Contour Dies from the Annual Catalog.
These two cards I did not intentionally pair together, but interestingly they both use the Season of Chic bundle along with the Texture Chic Specialty DSP. Aren’t they fun?!
The card on the left uses the Country Bouquet bundle and Country Floral Lane DSP from the Jan-April Mini Catalog. The card on the right is lovely and I totally forget what stamp set that is – I’m thinking it is a retired set.
And just one more card today… and a picture of me with some beautiful tulips in front of our fireplace.I didn’t keep the tulips there long as the heat would have made them open even more!

I am smitten with the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper and have made a fun birthday card with it. This is so super easy you will want to make one too.
This little fox is just so stinkin’ C-U-T-E! Look at that grin & that sassy walk. That little guy is die cut straight from the Rain or Shine DSP and die with the Layering Circles Dies. It’s back layer is Mango Melody die cut with the Layering Circles Dies, scallop. Ok, directions.
Card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/4 scored at 4 1/4 and I used Balmy Blue
Remove 1″ from card base front & trim that strip to 3 1/2″, then score one end at 1″
Attach the short end of this strip to the card back with the score line at the edge – long end to the right
Add a 1 1/4 x 5 3/8 strip of DSP over top of strip – see the raindrop strip in photo, that’s it.
Attach the circle die cut to the long end of the strip. I wanted a nice ‘finish’ to the back side so die cut another circle with the Layering Circles Dies from Brights 6×6 DSP in Mango Melody & adhered it to the back side.
A panel of Basic White 2 3/4 x 5 3/8 is stamped with the birthday sentiment from Something Fancy stamp set in Memento ink. Adhere to inside of card.
Back to card front… Add a panel of Rain or Shine DSP to the card front – 3 1/8 x 5 3/8
Stamp a sentiment in Memento ink on a Basic White Scrap & die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
Add a Mango Melody strip behind it 5/8 x 2 1/4. This could be a length of ribbon instead, or a pice cut slightly larger than the sentiment panel. Add with dimensionals to the card front
I added three Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots in Mango Melody for a bit of bling.
Super easy card – and you could easily change it up… front flap embellished could be a square, a rectangle, a heart. All kinds of possibilities!
For the envelope… more of the Brights 6×6 DSP for the flap, trimmed to fit and another die cut from the Rain or Shine DSP, this time die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. A super fun card to send & receive!

Hello Friends! I have a fun, different card for you today ~ it’s a slimline card using the FREE Sale-a-bration DSP Dainty Flowers. It’s available with a $50 purchase, but only during Sale-a-bration, which ends Feb 28 ~ soon. I saw this card, I think from Mary Fish, and decided to make one myself. You could make this card with any Designer Series Papers.
I used Old Olive card stock as my card base, 7 x 8 1/2 scored at 3 1/2, then cut another panel of Old Olive 3 1/4 x 8 1/4. I cut two pieces of the Dainty Flowers DSP 3 1/4 x 8 1/4, laid them together kind of catty-wampas – you know, crooked, and adhered them together. I placed them on the additional Old Olive panel, marked the left edge & trimmed it. I then placed that trimmed edge on the Paper Trimmer & cut it to 8 1/8 in length so it would have a straight top edge & fit on that Old Olive panel – then adhered it to the Old Olive panel and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I pulled out the Something Fancy Bundle to stamp the sentiment in Starry Sky ink and die cut it with this fun hexagon die from the Something Fancy Dies. Then I die cut another piece as a background from another piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP and using yet another die from Something Fancy Dies, then cut another from Basic White. The Basic White die cut I cut in half lengthwise and adhered behind the DSP die cut to create a bit of frame. This I attached to the card front with dimensionals. I put the hexagon sentiment piece also on dimensionals and added it to the panel. For a bit of bling I added three Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls then a baker’s twine bow from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine package – in Starry Sky. This is a double bow. And the card front was done :O)
Remember those pieces I trimmed from the left edge? Here they are on the inside of the card, adhered to a Basic White 3 1/4 x 8 1/4 panel. And the card is d-o-n-e! Love this… and it would be a great style for a masculine card birthday or whatever. The envelope I us for this is from the Slimline Envelopes from the Annual catalog – just forgot to take photo!

Hello and WELCOME to this fun Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. You may have come from the fabulous Tara Carpenter or simply hopped in right here. However you arrived, may you enjoy making the rounds of those participating today.
So, I have to laugh at myself & share it with you… I made a card for this blog hop, but when I went to do all the necessary ‘work’ of plugging in the challenge, I realized I made the card for NEXT WEEKS blog hop š How funny is that! So I pulled out a card I hadn’t posted yet and here we go. It’s one we are working on in card class today.
This card is made with the Playing in the Rain stamp set and the Picture This Dies + Rain or Shine DSP. It was super fun to make as the Playing In The Rain stamp set is full of cuteness.
Die cut the Rain or Shine DSP with the Picture This Dies. DSP is 4 x 5 1/4
Place this over a Basic White panel 1/8″ smaller & trace lightly the various circles. in pencil
Decide where & what images you want to use from the Playing In The Rain stamp set then stamp with Memento ink in the various circles. It’s ok to go outside the circle but use a post it note to cover a circle if you think it would stamp in it. see photo
Color images as desired. I used Stampin’ Blends Mango Melody, Cajun Craze & Old Olive for the flowers/ leaves; I used Flirty Flamingo for the rabbit and Old Olive, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze on the turtle image. I also die cut a bow tie in Basic Black using one of the balloon bow dies. šš
Stamp the sentiment from Playing In The Rain in Smoky Slate ink
Erase any remaining pencil marks.
Now lay the die cut Rain or Shine DSP over this panel & adhere in place.
Put dimensionals on the back and adhere to a Smoky Slate A2 card base.
Add the loose Daisy Assortment to the sentiment – and the card front is done!
For the inside…
Stamp the fox, puddles and sentiment in Memento ink
Stamp the raindrops in Smoky Slate ink
Color the fox, umbrella and puddles with Stampin’ Blends: Cajun Craze for the umbrella, Mango Melody for the rain hat & coat, Smoky Slate for the fox and puddles
Add to inside of card & voila!
For the envelope… More Rain or Shine DSP on the flap trimmed to fit; and a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend colored umbrella on the front. The umbrella is stamped in Memento ink & comes from Playing in The Rain Stamp set.
