New product releases in the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog are opportunities for challenges to inspire. This embossing folder is part of a suite of products called the Traditions of Christmas Suite. Let’s look…
This is a large embossing folder… about 6×6… good for a card but also could be something to be framed. The image is beautiful and full of texture. After running the Basic White panel through the embossing folder, I used a sponge dauber & Old Olive ink to add color to the raised leaves.I then used my Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends to color the berries. Next I pulled out one of the papers in the Traditions of Christmas SDSP and fussy cut several of the images of a poinsettia & leaves.I adhered these both with dimensionals and directly to the embossed piece. I used the ribbon in the suite – Shiny Ribbon in Real Red – to tie this gorgeous bow. It is attached with a glue dot. I used a tiny bit of Stampin’ Seal to attach the lengths of the ribbon in place. This panel was added to Real Red to create the card.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment using the Traditional Labels stamp set (has dies too!) in Real Red ink, which is also part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite. These products will be available Sep 3 in the new Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.

Good morning! It’s Saturday and a crisp 55 degrees here in coastal NJ. Not the right time of year for these temps, but I’ll take it! I needed an anniversary card and since that fabulous Sunflower 3D embossing folder was still on my desk – I used it 😀 This could so easily be a wedding card, but this is a couple celebrating 30 years of marriage and well, they needed something special.
The card base is Thick Basic White to create this slimline card. After running a piece of Basic White through the Sunflower 3D embossing folder, I layered a piece of Smoky Slate to the back and adhered it to the card front. I took the Sweetly Scripted stamp set and stamped a 1/2″ strip with the sentiment in Smoky Slate. I ran my Stampin Seal along the back of the strip and attached Silver 1/8″ Trim, weaving it back and forth. I added lots of dimensionals and attached it to the card front. The last step was adding two Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems. I absolutely love this!
For the inside… I used the same Sweetly Scripted stamp set and Smoky Slate ink to stamp the congratulations sentiment to a Basic White insert. And that was it… it’s simple and quite elegant.

Good morning Friends… NJ has had a couple of days respite from the heat – a drop of 30 degrees to the 70’s! These are welcome temperatures! Today’s card is made with the new In Colors Secret Sea and Cloud Cover – and could be duplicated using all the new In Colors.
I began with the 2025-2027 In Color 6×6 DSP cut 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 and cut it on the diagonal, then turned the pieces 90 degrees holding them together, to cut on the other diagonal. (NOTE: This works with DSP that has a reverse side that is coordinating in color/ pattern, not conflicting. So choose carefully 😀) After cutting the DSP, decide which sections should be primary showing the pattern desired. Here I chose the left and right panels to be dominant and simply turned the other two panels to the reverse side. These were adhered to Basic White cut 4 x 5 1/4, dimensionals added to the back and attached to a Cloud Cover card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. On the front I added a length of 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon with Stampin’ Seal. Using the Mixed Labels Dies, I cut two labels, the larger in Secret Sea, the smaller in Basic White. I stamped the sentiment using the Mixed Labels stamp set in Secret Sea ink. I layered the two together with adhesive, popped dimensionals across the back on top & bottom and adhered it over the ribbon. The final touch was adding several 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover.
For the inside… simple… a 1/2 x 4 strip of the same 25-27 In Color DSP as used on the card front, and attached to the side of a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel
For the envelope, more of the 25-27 In Color DSP on the flap trimmed to fit. On the front, using Cloud Cover ink and an image in the Mixed Labels stamp set, I stamped twice on the lower left corner. This gives a completed look and could even be used as a masculine card, despite the flowers.

Valentines just passed and I could not post this card – to my hubby – as he just might see it :O) Now’s a good time to share.
This card is made using the Bloom Impressions DSP that is FREE during Sale-a-bration when purchasing $60 worth of products. It coordinates with Real Red card stock (behind it) and of course, Basic White. I used the Paper Pumpkin Dies – Spring is in the Air – to create the heart, and Mixed Labels Dies to cut the sentiment.
Step by step
Card base: Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer: Basic White 4 x 5 1/4, embossed with the So Swirly EF & adhered directly to the card base
Layer: Real Red 4 1/4 x 3 3/4
DSP layer: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 cut into 3, 1 1/4″ strips
Adhere DSP to Real Red then to card front with dimensionals
Die cut two hearts with the Spring is in the Air Dies
Adhere one heart with liquid glue
Adhere second heart w/ mini dimensionals
Stamp the sentiment from Everyday Greetings stamp set with Memento ink; die cut with the Mixed Labels Dies; adhere with dimensionals

Happy Thursday – and welcome to Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a color challenge today and so many of these colors come from a specific DSP that I kept this super simple.
You can see I focused on the colors Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight & Boho Blue. The card base is Boho Blue, standard A2 card size 8 1/2 x5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The Basic White panel is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 with the Mixed Media Florals DSP cut 3 3/4 x 5 and adhered to it. I wrapped the Navy ribbon from the Natural Tones Linen Thread pack around these two, twice, and tied a bow, adhering that with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink on a Basic White scrap and die cut with the Mixed Labels Dies. I love the design around the edge! I added three Opals Round Assortments in Daffodil Delight from the Annual Catalogue. I added dimensionals and attached to the DSP panels, then added those to the card base – also with dimensionals.
For the inside, I took a panel of Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 and stamped this fun partial image from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento ink. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends: Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green. This was adhered directly to the inside of the card.
I did exactly the same for the envelope front… stamping a partial image in Memento ink and coloring it with the same Stampin’ Blends. You can clearly see the coloring is different :O) – and the card was done! See below the list of names for purchasing these products from me :O)

Isn’t this pretty? I’m heading to a convention on Thursday and the ‘logo’ is daisies – so what better use of this Delightfully Eclectic DSP and Scalloped Contour Dies? and this fun fold is so quick & easy.
Directions
* Cut card base – here it is Thick Basic White – 4 1/4 x 10 1/4, score at 5 1/2
* Cut Designer Series Paper – Delightfully Eclectic DSP – 4 1/4 x 4 34 and adhere to card front
* While this is drying, cut additional pieces of DSP 2 5/8 x 3 15/16 + 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope flap)
* Place card front in Paper Trimmer and cut on the diagonal. For my measurements I used 1 1/4 on left upper corner and about 1 1/2 on right lower corner.
* Using Basic White card stock and the 2nd largest of the Scalloped Contour Dies, create the scalloped piece. Adhere the small panel(2 5/8 x 3 15/16) of DSP to it’s center. Add dimensionals to the back of this panel, both top & bottom.
* Add this panel to the closed card front – top portion only! Remember the cut diagonal removed the bottom :O) It will be about 1/2″ from top of fold and about 5/8″ from each side.
* With the card closed, slip the bottom diagonal piece under the scalloped die cut, making it even with the inside of the card bottom & sides. Remove backing on remaining dimensionals and close card.
* Using the Sweetly scripted stamp set, Tuxedo Black Memento ink and a 4 1/4 x 1″ strip of Basic White, stamp the preferred sentiment. Add dimensionals to each end and adhere over the die cut panel
On the inside of the card… on a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel and using the daisy outline stamp from Color & Contour stamp set, stamp in Petal Pink both in the upper right corner and lower left. Now stamp the ‘fill’ image of the flower in stamped off Petal Pink – this is called second generation stamping. Add the panel to the inside of the card – and done! I created at least 3 of these, just like this, then did two others using the Subtles 6×6 DSP in Petal Pink to cover the card front, yet continued with the Delightfully Eclectic Daisy DSP on the Scalloped Contour Die.
For the envelope, I used another piece of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP to cover the envelope flap and trimmed it to fit. On the envelope front, I did the same daisy stamp from Color & Contour stamp set with Petal Pink ink. I did the same for all five cards.

Good morning.! I’ve been on a ‘kick’ lately about using more of my retiring Designer Series Paper – and I’m happy to say I’m making progress. Of course, in doing that I haven’t been showcasing new items as much as perhaps I should. Having said that, know you can use current DSP & die cuts to your hearts delight -:O)
This card uses Masterfully Made DSP, which is very colorful and abstract -gives the idea of torn edges. This particular paper has Berry Burst, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry – at least on this card. Here are the deets…
The card base is 4 x 5 1/2 and I used Berry Burst as there is so much of this wonderful color in this particular portion of the DSP. I cut the Designer Series Paper 5 1/4 x 12 and scored it @ 2, 4, 8 & 10. On each short end mark the center (2 5/8) and trim from the score line to the mark, saving that piece to adhere to the front. Fold along score lines mountain, valley, valley, mountain. Adhere this to the card base.
Now it’s time to decorate… I used the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a circle from Basic White, then pulled out the Gorgeously Made stamp set (retiring April 30) and stamped images on the circle: the wording in stamped off once Crushed Curry and the lines in Pumpkin Pie, full strength.While this stamp set was on my table, I stamped the same lines image on a piece of Basic White 43 3/4 x 5 across the bottom in Pumpkin Pie ink. I die cut this stunning open leaf from Basic White using the Artistic Dies (also retiring April 30. And now, ready to put together… I closed the card with folds intact and noted where to place the circle so it would be centered on the card front. NOTE>>> when attaching with dimensionals, it’s only on the one side. Remove backing on the dimensionals and add. With the card in the closed position again, add the large leaf die cut with dabs of liquid glue along the stem and tips of leaves – just where it will attach to the circle.Add three Berry Burst dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment – carrying over to the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! Now add the Basic White stamped panel to the inside of the card – and ready!
Envelope.. Cut another piece of DSP 2 1/4 x 6 and adhere to the envelope flap, trim to fit. Across the front of the envelope, stamp the lines image along the bottom. With no sentiments on this card, it can be sent for just about any reason at all… to a man or a woman. Perfect for your stash! and you can add a sentiment to the inside if you need to, when the time comes.
A couple of things to remember: this DSP, the Gorgeously Made Bundle and the Artistic Dies are all retiring end of day April 30 – so if you want to get them, do so ASAP in the Last Chance Products.

The ribbon is a retired one – Natural Ribbon from Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack, now $3.80 on the CLEARANCE RACK! Nested Expressions largest die creates the backdrop for all the floral & sentiment die cuts. The flowers are from Sentimental Park Dies – and this wonderful set is carrying over – die cut in Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve. The leaves are from Thoughtful Expressions Dies and die cut from Granny Apple Green. I used another retiring product – Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels for centers. Yesterday was a very successful working outside kind of day! 77 degrees and dry leaves that could easily picked up, some Easter bulbs planted and yard furniture taken out from shed. Whew! To say the least, just a bit sore today :O)
I like notebooks and have a few notepads on shelves and in convenient places – and decided to make some fun covers for them – they are nice notepads – and give as gifts. Here’s my first.
This is such pretty Designer Series paper! I love the colors, wonderfully paired Lost Lagoon, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist. Yummy. And the belly band is made with Pretty Peacock. The base of the notebook is the white backing for the DSP – you know the one with name of DSP and color coordinations. It is cut 10 3/4 x 8 1/4 scored at 5 1/4 & 5 1/2. I rounded the corners but you wouldn’t have to do that. The front DSP mat is 5 1/8 x I 8 1/8.

Just to explain the inside a bit: in photo with the butterfly (butterfly is a Paper Pumpkin add-on called Thanks & Beyond Dies) – that is a pocket for extraneous notes (3 7/8 x 5) with a full liner of Pretty Peacock 5 1/8 x 8 1/8. The second photo above shows another ‘liner’ of Pretty Peacock 5 1/8 x 8 1/8 and the ‘holder’ for the notepad 1 1/4 x 12 – also from the backing of the DSP. I wrapped it around the heavy piece of the back of the notepad, adhered the ends together, removed it from the notepad and adhered it to the notebook with the smooth side up. This allows for replacement of a Junior Legal notepad at any time. The last photo is another panel of Masterfully Made DSP 5 1/8 x 8 1/8 adhered to the notepad base.
The belly band… 1 1/4 x 12 Pretty Peacock covered with a strip of Masterfully Made DSP 1 1/8 x 12. Wrap loosely around closed notepad and adhere ends together in front with Tear n’ Tape. Decorate: Using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies, I die cut two pieces for the label – Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist and adhered together with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and added several dimensionals to the back. With the belly band in place on the notebook I attached the die cuts to the belly band.With the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set I stamped the floral image on a Basic White piece in Memento ink and colored it with Stampin’ Blends: Berry Burst, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist. I die cut the image with the appropriate die from the Thoughtful expressions dies and adhered in place with dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins in Berry Burst – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE.
The Masterfully Made DSP retires at the end of April as the 23-24 annual catalog sadly ends. It is still available, but not for long! Click the Last Chance photo to take you directly to the shop!
