Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears plus Branching Out Dies

Good Sunday morning! I’ve a sweet Perfectly Pears card for you today and I paired it with a new die set from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog called Branching Out Dies. It has a stamp set as well, but I’m not using that today.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pears card front

This new die is shown here in the Basic Beige – as a background for the pears. The leaves of thew pears cover the top of the die cut, but it’s the same as the bottom. There are at least 6 of these layering dies in the set, plus some other fun dies as well. It’s wonderful. How to make this card…

The card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Darling Duckling then a layer of Painterly Pears DSP. Next I die cut the Basic Beige with the Branching Out dies and added it. With another piece of the Painterly Pears DSP and the Perfectly Pears Dies, I die cut the two pears and the stem/ leaves. Using another die in the Perfectly Pears Dies and Lemon Lime Twist, I die cut the open weave image. I adhered the stem/ leaves to each pear, then attached them to the card front: the darker pear is adhered directly and the lighter pear is on dimensionals. I slipped the open weave die cut under the pears and attached with dabs of liquid glue. The leaves of the darker pear do have dimensionals. Once everything was innplace, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink. It comes from the Perfectly Pears stamp set. Final touch – three Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Old Olive and a double Linen Thread bow added with a glue dot.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pears inside card

For the inside…on a panel of Basic White… the pear comes from the Perfectly Pears stamp set… inked first in Darling Duckling then Lemon Lime Twist added with a sponge dauber and stamped on the panel. The stem’ leaves are also from this stamp set and are inked with Old Olive and Early Espresso Markers. This was attached to aDarling Duckling panel then added to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Pearas card & envelope

For the envelope… The same Painterly Pears DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. The pear was stamped using the same method as above – using the Perfectly Pears stamps, Darling Duckling and Lemon Lime Twist inks for the pear and Old Olive and Early Espresso markers for the stem’ leaves. This is such a fabulous suite of products!

Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Bundle, Hello

Good Monday Morning. It’s start of a new week so fresh ideas, fresh thoughts, fresh everything. Shall we? My card today begins with the Abigail Rose 12 x 12 DSP, colored with Stampin’ Blends, then layered on Early Espresso card stock.

Stampin' UP! Alphabest Bundle, Hello

This particular sheet of Abigail Rose DSP is absolutely stunning – and I chose to color it with Stampin’ Blends: far right is Pale Papaya, center is Cajun Craze, and to the left is Pumpkin Pie – variations on the orange family. You COULD color all the flowers or… you could choose not to color any. This is what i did. The strips are adhered to Early Espresso then wrapped with Open Weave Ribbon in Pale Papaya, then adhered to Pale Papaya card stock. When deciding what to do for a sentiment, I brought out the Best Label Punch that punches the letters perfectly, and the coordinating Alphabest stamp set. The letters are stamped in Early Espresso ink before punching them from the Basic White card stock. Each was adhered with dimensionals over the ribbon. Dimensionals were added to the back of the Pale Papaya panel and adhered to Crumb Cake card base – and the card front was done.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Bundle, Hello.2

For the inside, I wanted it really simple for a special note: Basic White panel adhered to Pale Papaya, then a 1/2″ strip of a different Abigail Rose 12 x 12 DSP across the bottom. This was added to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base & voila – our card is complete!

Stampin' UP! Alphabest Bundle, Hello.3

For the envelope, more of the original pattern of Abigail Rose DSP for the flap, trimmed to fit, then a 1/2″ strip adhered to the bottom of the envelope front. Now if I choose, I can go back and add a sentiment to the inside when I need a special something or write a lengthy note. I love having cards available.

Stampin’ Up! Blends, Alcohol & Picture This Dies

Happy July 4th! Got big plans? Whatever they are, may you have fun and be safe… Today’s card is made with Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol for the basic background, the Seascape stamp set and Picture this Dies.

Blends, Alcohol & Picture This Dies.1

The background was made on Vellum by adding color sporadically then spritzing with 91% alcohol. When using this alcohol, make certain the area is well vented. It is very strong! I wish I had taken a picture of just the Vellum & inks, before stamping on it. The piece was very special. So, why did I cover it…. who knows… but I do like the end result. Colors used to create the background were Dark Night of Navy & Dark Cajun Craze, both Stampin’ Blends, and as mentioned earlier, spritzed with 91% alcohol. Once dry, I mounted it with liquid glue onto a Basic White card piece.

I die cut a piece of Basic White using the Picture this Dies and used that to show where I needed to stamp. As mentioned earlier I used the Seascape stamp set to create the images: Garden Green ink for the tall lanky seaweed; Calypso Coral for the coral, and Crumb Cake for the fish (they are hard to see and are in the bottom middle window!). I laid this aside to dry – the seaweed took some time as it is a semi solid stamp and the ink pad a bit inky. Once dry I put dimention on the back of the Basic White ‘frame’ and mounted it over the Vellum. This whole panel was then adhered to Misty Moonlight card stock with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set on a Basic White strip, fussy cut the ends then added it to another Misty Moonlight strip and did the same treatment for the ends. This got dimensionals and was added to the card front. Three Blue Adhesive-backed fems were added and the card front was done!

Blends, Alcohol & Picture This Dies.2

For the inside, I added a strip of the Blends-treated Vellum that I had trimmed from the basic piece to a Basic White panel and that was it. The panel was added to the inside of the card with iquid glue.

Blends, Alcohol & Picture This Dies.3

For the envelope… I took a piece of Misty Moonlight and ran it through the Painted Texture Embossing Folder, then added it to the envelope flap and trimmed it to fit. I used this embossing folder as I wanted it to look like rumbling sea 🙂 For the front of the card I stamped the fish using Calypso Coral ink, then the bubble stamp with Misty Moonlight ink – a school of fish! And the card was done.

Fun project! I hadn’t used the Picture This Dies before, nor have I played enough with the Seascape bundle. Card cuts will be listed at the end of this post. Stampin’ Up Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, Hello

Happy Memorial Day! For most of our country, the mask mandate has been lifted and it will be nice to see whole faces when out & about. Remember some basic sanitation… wash hands frequently… and may you stay safe. Again, thank you to those who have served in our military and whose lives are now gone, but not forgotten. Bless you!

Today’s card uses another partial panel of the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack ~ familiar as I used a portion of it the other day for a post. For this card I used the Basic Borders Dies and the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack as an outline.

Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack, 1

This card is just so fresh and cheery, isn’t it? The card pack panel is 2 x 5 1/2, bordered by Blushing Bride using this fun rick-rack design from the Basic Borders dies. After adhering the border with liquid glue, I used a length of the Baker’s Twine in Black and tacked it in place on the back of the Basic White panel (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), with Seal+. I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink using the Pansy Patch stamp set. To highlight the word ‘hello’ I added three 2021-2023 In Color Jewels underneath. This panel was adhered with dimensionals to the Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) – and the front was done!

Hand-Penned Mem. & More Card Pack, Hello – inside

For the inside I kept this really simple… I stamped a couple of the small flowers from the Hand-Penned petals stamp set in stamped-off once Blushing bride ink, then used a Micron pen to add some detail. It really does make it look as though it was taken from the paper on the front of the card 🙂

Hand-Penned Mem. & More Card Pack, Hello – 3

With the card complete, I decorated the envelope flap with a couple of strips of the Hand-Penned DSP, adhered with liquid glue and trimmed to fit. It doesn’t really matter the size of the strips, I just used left over pieces. For the front of the envelope I did the same as the inside of the card; stamped the flowers from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in stamped-off Blushing Bride ink and added detail with a Micron pen. Love this look! You will probably see me do this more often in the future – just sayin’.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden Hello

Whoa – we are having some beautiful days here on the East Coast. Yes, full of pollen too. And the pine trees have not begun their pollen-sharing. For those who suffer from allergies, this is not a good time of year. For those of us who don’t, the temps are perfect for the spring floral display God provides. Today’s card was inspired in part by the clematis in bloom in the front of our home – purple. The Daisy Garden stamp set is just beautiful – here’s the card.

Daisy Garden Hello

I’ve used several Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers: Fresh Freesia, Rich Razzleberry and the centers Pale Papaya. For the leaves & stems I used Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Soft Succulent. The Soft Succulent adds more contrast and a depth to the leaves that I really like – and it was just a happenstance of playing around :).

The Daisy Garden stamp was stamped on a Basic White panel (3 3/4 x 5) in Memento Black ink, then colored as mentioned above. After coloring, I adhered the panel to a slightly larger piece of Fresh Freesia (3 7/8 x 5 1/8), then wrapped the Open Weave Ribbon in Soft Succulent around it and tied a bow. Gosh, this ribbon is just heaven to work with… ties a perfect bow every time. I added a glue dot under the knot to hold it in place.

The sentiment comes from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set and was stamped on a Basic White 1/2″ strip in Fresh Freesia. I trimmed the one end as you see and left the other end straight. I added three 2021-2023 In Color Jewels in Fresh Freesia for a bit of sparkle and mounted it with dimensionals and over the ribbon. This panel was put on dimensionals and added to the Thick Basic White card base (4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2) and the card front was done.

Daisy Garden Hello

For the inside I brought out a coordinating stamp set called Daisy Lane. While it is not new, it is in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and perfect for single daisies. Again I stamped these is Memento Black in on a Basic White panel (3 3/4 x 5) and colored them as before – Fresh Freesia, Rich Razzleberry and Pale Papaya for the centers. This was attached to another piece of Fresh Freesia 3(3 7/8 x 5 1/8) with liquid glue then added to the inside of the card and voila – card is complete!

For the envelope I stamped the same simple daisy on the front of the envelope and all over the flap but did not color them – and guess what – no photo! Bummer… What took longest on this card was the coloring, but it’s just so relaxing for me that it didn’t really matter. 🙂

Products for todays project are from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog They may be found in the list below. I’ve made it easy for you to simply ‘add all to cart’. Stampin’ Up! Love of Leaves Hello Card

Today’s card uses the fabulous Love of Leaves Bundle. Have you noticed I can’t seem to stop using this bundle? The Stitched leaves Dies are really outstanding. This card was also inspired by the Paper Players Challenge.

And here’s the card…

Love of Leaves Hello card – #1

I started this with the Plaid Tidings 6×6 DSP. There are so many beautiful plaids in this package, double-sided even, that it is sometimes difficult to decide which to use :O) This plaid really drew me in though, so here are the details.

  • Start with Cinnamon Cider card stock 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
  • Using the Rectangle Stitched Dies, die cut three rectangles from the Plaid Tidings 6×6 DSP. Adhere these to a panel of Whisper White card stock 3 x 4 1/2 with liquid glue. Adhere this to the card base, centering.
  • Sponge a leaf from the Love of Leaves stamp set and stamp off, then stamp on a Whisper White scrap. I used Crushed Curry ink then Cinnamon Cider ink then a touch of Garden Green ink. (The first stamp leaf – die cut it and save for the inside of the card.) And why stamp off? The colors seemed way too bold and stamping off gives the stamp a soft hue. Oh, and I spritzed it with a bit of water before stamping it the second time.
  • Die cut this leaf with the Stitched Leaves Dies. I love how one of the dies embosses the leaf while the other does the die cut. Adhere to the center panel with dimensionals. Add a double Linen Thread bow with a glue dot.
  • The sentiment banner is a 3/8″ strip of Whisper White, stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink with the Love of Leaves stamp set. Add three 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots in Cinnamon Cider and attach with dimensionals to the card front – and voila!

For the inside…

Loves of Leaves Hello Card – #2
  • On a Whisper White panel 4 x 5 1/4 , add a Plaid Tidings 6×6 DSP strip with liquid glue. I added a notched end for creativity :O).
  • Stamp the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider ink – and it comes from the Love of Leaves stamp set. The leaf is the one from the front that was the first stamp. You can see the colors are much more bold and for me, it was too strong for the front of the card, but I love it for here. It’s adhered with liquid glue.
  • Adhere this Whisper White panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue and the card is complete.

For the envelope…

Love of Leaves Hello Card – #3

This is a simple card – and I kept the envelope simple as well – by adding a panel of the Plaid Tidings 6×6 DSP to the flap with liquid glue, trim to fit – and that was it. Lovely Lovely.

Options for this card…

#1 create a layer of texture by embossing a panel and adhering it directly to the card front, then adding the rest of the parts.

#2 die cut leaves for all three panels; adhere the two outside leaves with liquid glue while keeping the center leaf on dimesnionals. If adding leaves to all three panels, maybe don’t color them at all.

Ok, just thought I would add those couple of thoughts in hopes you will share what you create 😁. I hope you like today’s card. I really like the simplicity of it, the unfussiness.

Products for today’s card may be found below. When you purchase from me, please use my CURRENT HOST CODE – HXXMKN2X to receive a free item valued at $10 when you spend $50 – $150 in my online store. This Host code is good through October – just two more days – then we start with a new one! If your purchases exceed $150, you’ll still get that free item from me, but don’t use the host code as Stampin’ Up! has rewards as well. Make sense?
