Stampin’ Up! Cutest Onsie Baby Boy Card

Hello Sunday! We are slated to have a pretty nice day today – after a drenching rain yesterday that we desperately needed. Those fires in South Jersey did not affect us personally, but they weren’t far. Lots of businesses destroyed & 15,000 acres burned. We needed this rain to put out remaining hot spots on the forests floor. Sigh.

Today’s card is about new life – a baby boy – and I’ve used the carrying over Cutest Onsie Bundle to make it, and Balmy Blue.

Stampin' Up! Cutest Onsie Bundle card front

I began with by stamping a Balmy Blue panel (4 x 5 1/4) with these cute ‘clouds’ (think dreamy 🙂 and Balmy Blue ink. I then stamped the ‘onsie’ with Memento ink and with a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends, colored the neck, sleeves and bottom edges. I also stamped the star in Memento ink. I die cut the onsie and set it aside. Next I stamped the sentiment on two pieces of Lemon Lolly card stock, inking just a portion of the sentiment for each stamping. It was stamped in Azure Afternoon ink I adhered the strips with liquid glue then paced the onsie on dimensionals and overlaid the strips The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems in Lemon Lolly. This panel was adhered to Basic White 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 then attached to a card base of Balmy Blue (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) with dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Cutest Onsie inside card

For the inside of the card, I stamped the onsie with Memento ink on a piece of Subtles 6×6 DSP (Balmy Blue of course) and while die cutting, I also die cut the pocket for the onsie. I adhered it directly to the Basic White inset (4 x 5 1/4) then stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink and the hearts too. This was attached to the inside of Balmy Blue card base for the completed card.

Stampin' Up! Cutest Onsie card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the Subtles 6×6 DSP in Balmy Blue was added to the flap and trimmed to fit. This added touch just unifies every project – love this! And there ya go… a baby boy card for a new little one.

Stampin' UP! Painted Stripes & Gallery Blooms bundle

I used the new IN Color for 2025-2027 called Strawberry Slush both for the card stock base, the Painted Stripes stamp set inked & stamped and the floral design also inked, stamped & die cut. After stamping the flowers, I used Stampin’ Blends to color them: Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo, also Color Lifter for highlights and Wink of Stella. The leaves were colored with Granny Apple Green Blends. I then die cut and added dimensionals to the back and set it aside. I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to die cut the circle from Basic White card stock and added it to the card front with dimensionals, off-setting it. I then added the flowers to the circle. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set & Basic Gray ink. I added a very thin strip to the sentiment piece, then attachecd this to the card front… a dimensional on the back right of the sentiment and a dab of glue on the left. The final step was adding embellishments: 2025-2027 In Color Gems in Strawberry Slush.

Stampin' Up! Painted Stripes & Gallery Blooms card inside

For the inside of the card I kept it really simple: this sweet bouquet of roses from the Gallery Blooms stamp set, stamped in Strawberry Slush ink on the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel.

Stampi' Up! Painted Stripes & Gallery Blooms bundle card & envelope

For the envelope I used the very same sweet rose bouquet from the Gallery Blooms stamp set and Strawberry Slush ink to stamp the envelope front.

Stampin’ Up! DSP Gatefold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday & WELCOME to our fabulous hop! Today we have a sketch challenge & I’m mixing some items from the retiring Jan-Apr Mini Catalog, a carry over set of dies & a sentiment from the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog (available May 6).

Stampin' Up! DSP Gatefold card front

The Floral Delight 12 x 12 DSP is just so full of spring & cheer! And the coordinating Delightful Wishes bundle is a fun play :O)

How to put together:

  • Cut DSP 5 1/4 x 12 & score @ 2, 4, 8, & 10; fold & lightly score mountain, valley, valley, mountain
  • On each short end measure down from top 2 5/8″ & mark. (This is 1/2 the 5 1/4). Cut from closest score to mark on each end & retain pieces removed.
  • Add these retained pieces to each front panel, decorating it & making it appear as though the panel was folded forward.
  • Decorate
    • For this card I cut two circles using the Spotlight on Nature Dies- one from the back side of a DSP in Delightful Floral & another from Basic White. These were adhered together with dimensionals
    • Adhere these to the left front panel ONLY, centering left to right
    • Decorate & add embellishments
      • Using the Delightful Wishes Dies, I die cut the branch from Pecan Pie & several flowers from one of the DSP sheets in Floral Delight DSDP
      • I adhered the branch directly to the circle & several of the flowers to the branch.
      • I pulled out the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (new in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog coming May 6) and adhered the sentiment with dimensionals
      • I added Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins for a bit of shine & sparkle
      • This entire piece was adhered to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Daffodil Delight card base.
      • For the inside… I die cut the outline for the word wishing (Delightful Wishes Dies) in Lemon Lolly & adhered it to the Basic White 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 inside panel. Next I added an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a Daffodil Delight piece and die cut the word itself. This made it easy to adhere to the Lemon Lolly outline. Next I inked the rest of the sentiment in two parts (the word ‘you’ first) with Daffodil Delight ink and stamped them on the insert panel. This was added to the inside of the card – – and boom! This card is ready.
      • For the envelope… a 2 1/4 x 6 piece of Floral Delight DSP was adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit.

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Fun Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our fabulous hop! It’s Thursday – Maundy Thursday as a matter of fact. We have a fun challenge today, and that is to make a fun fold card – right up my alley, in my wheelhouse or however you want to say it. I’m not certain what this fun fold is called: a z-fold, a zig zag fold, an accordion fold, but I did have fun creating it.

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Fun Fold card front

I began with a card base of Fresh Freesia 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and layered a panel of Beautiful Bokeh 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. (You could cover the entire card front.) I next cut a length of Basic White 12×12 to 4 x 12. I put this in my trimmer & with one end at the 2″ mark & the other at the 4″ mark, I from the 2″ end up creating the angled strip. This I scored at 4 & 8, adhering the taller end to the card base. Next was die-cutting the circles: 6th from largest for the Fresh Freesia circle; 8th from largest for the two Beautiful Bokeh circles & the Basic White circle on the Fresh Freesia circle; and 10th from largest for the smallest front Basic White circle. TIP: when die cutting the two Beautiful Bokeh circle, cut one of them from one side of the DSP & the other from the other side of the DSP – otherwise they will not match together :O)

Adhere circles to remaining sections of the card

  • Add the largest Basic White circle first – to the Fresh Freesia circle, centering it.
  • Using that Basic White circle as a guide, add the two Beautiful Bokeh circles to the next section.
    • I adhered the two Bokeh circles together TOP ONLY!
    • Slip these over the section to which they are to be attached with one circle on each side
    • Line them up exactly with the Basic White circle & adhere in place
  • Add smallest white circle to last section, making certain it is on the proper side – refer to z fold photo. If you attach to the wrong side, simply die cut another Basic White circle & attach back to back.

Create all the floral and leaf die cuts using the Impressions Abloom bundle

  • The daisy has 2 layers: the stamped layer (on Beautiful Bokeh stamped in Daffodil Delight) and the card stock layer – Daffodil Delight. These are adhered together , offsetting them & attached with a dimensional
  • The smallest flower has two layers: the stamped layer (on Beautiful Bokeh stamped in Balmy Blue) and the card stock layer in Balmy Blue. These are adhered together , offsetting them & attached with a dimensional
  • The largest flower has two layers: the stamped layer (on Beautiful Bokeh stamped inFresh Freesia) and the card stock layer in Fresh Freesia. These are adhered together , offsetting them & attached with liquid glue
  • The leaves are die cut from Lemon Lime Twist, cut apart as needed & tucked in, adhering with liquid glue
  • The flower centers were all die cut from Beautiful Bokeh 6×6 D
SP and added with liquid glue
  • The teeniest flowers are die cut from Basic White. Using Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, I added dots of color to the centers & attached to the card with dots of liquid glue – 3 on front 2 on second panel of circles & one on largest of the circle

Final step – stamp the front sentiment. This sentiment is from the So Sincere stamp set & is stamped in Fresh Freesia ink.

Here’s how the card looks standing up, front view.

And finally, the envelope, I used another piece of the Beautiful Bokeh to add to the flap & trimmed it to fit. Because the card was so busy, I did not add more to the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Split Front Fun Fold with Beautiful Gallery 6×6

Good morning and happy Wednesday! We have bright sunshine today – wheee! I wanted to make this split front card for a while and decided to use this gorgeous paper in the 2005-2006 Annual Catalog that goes live May 6.

Split Front Fun Fold w/ Beautiful Gallery 6x6, card front

This fun fold is so super easy! Cut a piece of card stock 4 1/4 x 11 (here I used Mossy Meadow), trim away 1 1/2″ then another 2 1/2″ then score the remaining piece at 1 1/2. Save those cut off pieces for the card front! Cut 2 pieces of DSP 4 x 1 1/4 & adhere to the short scored card front and the 1 1/2 x 4 card stock. Again, I used the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP for those two cut pieces. Cut another piece of the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP for the front panel – this time 2 1/4 x 4 and adhere to the 2 1/2 x 4 panel removed in the beginning – so Mossy Meadow. What I did… I trimmed away a portion of the edging on this DSP leaving the flower bud – top- and the leaf- lower left – loose. I adhered this to Gray Granite 2 1/8 x 41/8 then to the Mossy Meadow piece. Here’s the tricky part but not difficult … adding the front panel to the card front….With the card base closed, lay the loose bottom piece even with the bottom of the card base; using the grid paper, add the decorated front panel so it is equidistant top to bottom & right, adhering to top & bottom. Decorate front panel with Pressed Flower Motifs – and the card front is complete!

Stampin' Up! Split Front Fun Fold card inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped the Thinking of You in Mossy Meadow ink using the Beautiful Motifs stamp set from the Beautiful Gallery Suite in the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog on a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. I also stamped the fun image underneath in stamped off once Mossy Meadow ink. This was adhered to the inside of the card and the card was complete. Here’s what the card looks like standing.

Stampin' Up! Split Front Fun Fold with Beautiful Gallery 6x6, standing

For the envelope… more of the same Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP adhered to the flap, trimmed to fit then randomly stamped with the same image as the inside of the card, then stamped again on the envelope front.

Stampin' Up! Split Front fun fold with Beautiful Gallery 6x6, card & envelope

With the ‘open ended’ sentiment, this could be used as a get well, happy birthday, simply thinking of you, happy anniversary or even a wedding card! Love the flexibility!

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Ablooms Apreciation Card

Today’s card has a bit of modern look to it and uses most of the new In Colors for 2025-2027: Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger and for the sentiments… Secret Sea. The flowers are a two-step stamp, meaning they have an outline stamp & a filler stamp. For the flowers on this card, I only used the outline stamp. An additional color was used for the stems/ leaves and that is Granny Apple Green. And of course, Wink of Stella in all the flower centers :O) This layout was given to us at the convention a few weeks back.

The card base is Timid Tiger in an A2 size, folded in half. The layer (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) is stamped then cut in two directions on diagonals, then attached to the card front leaving the card base to show through and the excess of the layer removed. It sounds a little funky doesn’t it, but it works! A little explanation maybe… it’s necessary to begin with a layer that is the full size so the layers fit nicely into the corners. When adhering the layer, I kept the separation as even as possible, using my grid paper to help. I began attaching with the left top piece, which needed no trimming. Then I adhered the bottom left panel, keeping the left edge even with the card fold. This meant there was excess at the bottom to be removed when all panels are on. I added the top right layer even at the top but left that gap between & used my grid paper for straightness. Last panel to attach, bottom right. Where is the excess to remove: right side and bottom & you can use your paper trimmer for that by turning the card over and lining up the card base edge. Perfect! Sentiment- stamp in Secret Sea ink on Darling Duckling card stock, trim and add to card front with dimensionals. This particular sentiment is all one, so I taped off the various words to ink up each word separately and I wanted to angle the cut as well. The embellishments are the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Timid Tiger.

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Appreciate You card front

The inside… a panel cut 4 x 5 1/4 then stamped: Timid Tiger for the flower, Darling Duckling for the center and Granny Apple Green for the stem/ leaves. And yes, Wink of Stella added to the flower center.

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Appreciation card& envelope

For the envelope, I stamped the flower both on the card front & on the flap in Timid Tiger with the center in Darling Duckling and Wink of Stella also in the centers. I am loving the new In Colors and hope you are as well.

These items will all be available May 6 when the new catalog goes live to the customers. I hope you, my customers, have received the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. If you have not, reach out to me so that can be remedied. :O)

Remember too, that today, April 15, is the day the new Stampin’ Rewards program goes into effect. That means things will be shut down for a bit so the computers can do their task… and when everything goes back on again, you, the customer will have a fresh start.  You’ll be earning 10% rewards with all orders of $20+, a 10% reward that can be used on your next order! YAY! And what’s also really neat – you can save those rewards & use them all at once – or a bit at a time – they are GOOD FOR A WHOLE YEAR! Window Pop-Out Card with Florals in Bloom DSP & More

Hello Monday! It’s a new week, actually a new day – – and it is NOT raining here. Whew! We need the rain to fill our reservoirs; I like rain; but the days are a bit gloomy. We had sunshine for a bit of the day & it felt good. Thank you for the rain; and thank you for the sunshine!

My card today uses the ever-popular Arches Dies found in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. I’ve paired it with one of the new In Colors for 2025-2026 called Cloud Cover plus a beautiful Florals In Bloom DSP. I either fussy cut the flowers with my paper snips, or die cut them with a die from Pretty Florals Dies or Sweet Blooms Dies. Both of these dies and the DSP are part of a new suite of products in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog – the Florals In Bloom Suite.

Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out card front with Florals in Bloom Suite

This card begins with a standard A2 card base in Cloud Cover. The DSP layer is just 1/8″ smaller all around and is from the Florals In Bloom pack. It is from the other side of this sheet that I either fussy cut or die cut the flowers for the front of this card. :O) Ah, but I jump ahead… after adhering the DSP to the card front, open card & use the 4th largest die in the Arches Dies to center it on the front & die cut the arch. This may take running it back & forth a couple of times.

Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out Card, die cutting front

Now prepare the inside panel… 6 1/2 x 5 3/8 scored at 2 & 4 on the long side. Prepare two ‘hinges’ cutting 3″ x 1 1/4″, scored @ 1 1/2. Add Tear n’ Tape in several places then cut in half lengthwise, thereby creating 2 hinges. Add Tear n’ Tape to the BACK SIDE of the 2 1/2″ panel. On that same back side, add the hinges with the fold at the outside edge, one at top & one at bottom. Refer to photos below.

Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out Card front side of insert - template 2

back side of card insert front side of card insert

Remove tape cover & add insert to to inside of card with 1/8″ edge top, right & bottom. Fold insert along score lines, remove tape cover on hinges and with them flat & sticky side up, close card front. Boom! Now, with card closed & ‘window’ uncovered, add adhesive or Tear n’ Tape to open area – see photo… & attach die cut arch & decorate! ….

Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out Card Template 3
Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out Card front.2

As mentioned earlier, I either fussy cut with my paper snips or die cut with appropriate dies all the flowers. On the bottom right, this flower was Cloud Cover so that when the card is opened, there is a ‘like’ image inside – cut 2. After adhering, circle & flower were trimmed to card front edges.

Additional info:

  • DSP added to inside of card is 1 7/8 x 5 1/4, decorated with a die cut from the DSP (Sweet Blooms Dies)
  • Basic White panel on far right is 2 3/8 x 5 1/4
  • Embellishments on fron are 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems
  • Wink of Stella was added to shaded areas of all flowers
  • This is what the card looks like from the top

For the envelope…

Stampin' Up! Window Pop-Out card & envelope

More of the same DSP from Florals In Bloom DSP pack (just the other side) adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, another fussy cut flower added to the edge of the envelope front.

I had so much fun creating this card. It was pretty easy really and the fun came in the decorating. I would love to see what you do with this Window Pop-Out card design.

As I mentioned earlier, this suite of products are all available in the 2025-2026 Annual catalog, which goes live to customer May 6. That’s a few short weeks away. Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Thanks Card

Impressions Abloom is one of the new bundles in the Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog – and it’s wonderful. This card was one inspired by the After Hours program at the Stampin’ Up! Convention recently. I confess it’s a direct CASE of one in the After Hours booklet :O)

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Thanks card front

This card begins with a Crumb Cake card base, standard A2 size. Several pieces of Crumb Cake were trimmed down for layering with Perennial Lavender DSP. This DSP is a carry over 12×12 paper and is gorgeous. What you are seeing here is a checkered pattern. Notice how the edges of both the Crumb Cake pieces and the DSP pieces have frayed edges. That was done by holding the scissors at an angle on each piece and ‘scratching’ down the side. It sometimes even tears a bit, which is ok. It gives it a country look. Each of the flower heads is stamped in Darling Duckling ink then die cut with the appropriate die with two layers per flower head. The centers are stamped with Pecan Pie ink then Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle in the centers. The stems & leaves are die cut using this same Impressions Abloom bundle – using Granny Apple Green card stock. These were attached to the card front, then the flowers heads added with dimensionals. The tiny flowers were die cut from Basic White then a Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight colored the center. These were added with dots of liquid glue. A double bow was created using the Gold thread and attached with a glue dot. The sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie ink, an edge torn and added with dimensionals.

Here’s a photo of all the daisy die cuts:

For the inside…

I stamped the daisy image in Darling Duckling ink and the centers in Pecan Pie – same as the card front. I stamped the sentiment, also from Impressions Abloom stamp set, in Pecan Pie ink. The panel was added to the inside of the card.

The envelope …

Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom card & envelope

More of the Perennial Lavender 12×12 DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. The very same flower from Impressions Abloom stamp set was stamped on the envelope front: Darling Duckling for the flower and Pecan Pie for the center. And of course, Wink of Stella was added to the center :O) This would be a great birthday or hello card – just change the sentiment. It’s cheerful – a real lift me up kind of card.

This bundle and DSP will be available May 6, both in the ONLINE Exclusives AND in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. Remember too, the Stampin’ rewards are changing as well. – no more HOST CODES, but customers will begin receiving rewards with a $20 purchase – and that reward can be used toward their NEXT purchase. It’s quite a nice deal.
