Hello crafters! I’ve a new fun fold for you today that I found on the Internet and had to give it a try. It has different names but this is what I’m calling it. 😀
I used Balmy Blue for my card base, embossing one of the pieces and another for the tucked in flap. The Berry Burst color comes from the Celebration Express Memories & More Pack and the sentiment from Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephmera Pack. The stamped flower, stem &N leaves is from the Impressions Abloom stamp set, And the embossing is Glass Garden Embossing Folder (this contains two embossing folders!) The stamped flower is fist stamped off Balmy Blue ink, then the second step is full strength Balmy Blue. The flower center is Lemon Lolly – again a two-step stamp using the same stamped-off procedure as for the flower. The stem & leaf are Soft Sea Foam, following the same two-step for the leaf. Additional pieces were used from the Celebration Expressions Memories & More Card Pack for the strip on the inside of the card, the strip on the inside of the flap and the envelope flap. Card cuts will be listed below.
Step by step…
Balmy Blue card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4. Remove 2 1/8 x 5 1/2 from front and trim down to 1 3/4 x 5 1/8 (emboss this panel)
Add lBerry burst layer to embossed panel 1 7/8 x 5 1/4 – set aside
Cut another panel of Balmy Blue 1 1/4 x 3 1/4 and score on long side at 1/2 (this panel can be wider, depending on how you plan your inside, but the 1/2 score remains the same. Burnish.
Add this to the card base approximately 5/8″ from bottom of card back with the fold even with edge (again, depending on the plan for the inside of the card, this placement can be higher but should not be lower)
Add Berry Burst layer to inside of card base 4 x 5 1/4
Add decorative layer to back side of flap 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 (remember that if the flap is wider, this layer should also be 1/4″ wider)
Add Basic White panel for stamping 3 3/4 x 5
On this card I added a decorative strip behind the flap approximately 5/8 x 4
Stamp the inside: Here I used the Impressions Abloom stamp set
Add embossed + layer to left side of front panel with dimensionals… placement is important in order to tuck the flap in between dimensionals: dimensionals should be near bottom of panels to be attached, at top & at least 1/2″ from where flap tucks in.
Tuck in flap & add sentiment to tucked in flap. This sentiment is on dimensionals and is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephmera Pack.
For the envelope… Using the Celebration Expressions Memories & More Card Pack, I chose a coordinating piece to add to the envelope flap & trimmed it to fit. Done.. and ready to send to someone special. This card is going to a fellow teammate who needs a pick me up :O) I’m hoping she will love it.
Thanks so much for stopping by. May you have a beautiful day!

Good morning, good morning. It’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday blog hop. We have a sketch challenge today and I’ve chosen to work with Celebrating Expressions Memories & More Card Pack and the very versatile Greetings from All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I’ve made two cards from these Stamp[in’ Up! items – hope you enjoy!
This card has bold bright colors and I appreciate it’s friendly appearance. It makes me want to know whaat’s inside 😀 I used the Textured Notes Dies tom cut the panels from the card pack- the largest die for the largest image, then the 3rd & 4th largest for the two layered together. For the sentiment panel, the smallest die. The sentiment is from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephmera Pack and is on dimensionals. Three Shimmer Faceted Dots in Berry Burst bring your eye to the sentiment – and they are from the Floral Charm Suite of products.
For the inside, another panel of the Celebration Expressions Memories & More card pack adhered to the card base. Then I used the 3rd largest die in the Textured Notes Dies for the Basic White panel and the very narrowist die for the Berry Burst background strip. Again, a sdentiment from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephmera Pack.
For the envelope, another panel of the Celebration Expressions Memories & More card pack adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. Bam – DONE!
Card #2 is a baby birthday card – could be masculine or feminine and uses the same Celebration Expressions Memories & More card pack. I turned the card to make it a portrait card but still follows the sketch challenge.
Here I used my paper trimmer for cutting the card panels: front is 3 x 4, 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 (Lemon Lime Twist), and 4 x 5 1/4. The card base is 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 (Balmy Blue. I added a Bordered Ribbon in Petunia Pop and the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. Panels are again from the Celebration Expressions Mix & Match card pack and the sentiment is from the Greetings for All Ephmera pack.
For the inside… Basic White 4 x 5 1/4, then a Celebration Expressions Mix & Match card layer, followed by the sentiment from Greeting for All Ephmera pack. And on my desk is the cute cupcake with a candle – from an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE Birthday Celebrations.
For the envelope, another panel of the Celebrations Expressions Mix & Match card pack adhered to the flap. I then used a Basic Border Die to give it some charm and scallop edges.
So, here are the two card & envelopes – both using the same sketch but turned 90 degrees and a few more additions. Would love to know if you have a favorite. To purchase these products, see the info below the list of those participating in today’s hop.

Hello Monday! It’s hot here again in NJ – up to 93 today with very high humidity – not a day for being outside much. Guess I’ll just have to play in my stamp room – after doing chores of course 😀
Prairie Grass is a fairly new stamp set for me and I am loving the grasses and the fonts for the sentiments. It’s an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE stamp set. I got out my Blending Brushes and a couple of inks and went to work… Misty Moonlight and a hint of Secret Sea for the sky then Lemon Lime Twist for the lower portion. I stamped the grasses in Secret Sea. I used my color wheel to bring in a contrasting color – Melon Mambo ink for the sentiment – and yes, it comes from the Prairie Grass stamp set. I die cut it with Spotlight On Nature Dies, put it on dimensionals and added it to the card front. I used the Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Secret Sea for a bit of glam. These come from the Perfectly Pear suite of products. This front panel was added to Melon Mambo then adhered to the Secret Sea card base.
For the inside… I again used the Lemon Lime Twist and a Blending Brush to add color to the bottom of the Basic White. I then stamped one of the grasses in Secret Sea ink. I adhered two triangles in corners for a background border, bringing in the color from the front of the card. I gives a very modern look.
For the envelope… I again added Lemon Lime Twist with my Blending Brush to the front, then stamped full strength the tallest grass, then stamped twice more without reinking – with Secret Sea ink. On the flap I added Misty Moonlight and a bit of Secret Sea with a Blending Brush.
See how to order these products below.
Cards cuts are as follows:
Card base – Secret Sea 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer Melon Mambo 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 (front), 2 x 2 cut on diagonal (inside)
Basic White 4 x 5 12/4 (front, 3 3/4 x 5 (inside), 2″ scrap for circle die cut

Today’s card highlights the Peace on Earth bundle, which includes an embossing folder. This is part of a suite that will be available in the 2025 Sep-Dec Mini Catalog. This embossing folder makes a stunning leaf imprint with a center area open for a sentiment panel. I made a similar card a while back and my card class students wanted to give it a try. We made one of each – the original card in blues and this in Shaded Spruce. Here is the link to the original card.
The card base is 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 4 1/2 & 5 1/2. Burnish the score lines well – fold the card in half (that’s the 5 1/2 score), then fold the 4 1/2 score forward. Add glue to that 1″ area and close the card base. This makes it a book fold! Now decorate… I ran a Basic White panel (4 1/8 x 4 3/8) through the Peaceful Garden embossing folder and adhered it to the card front. I cut a piece of Nests of Winter DSP 7/8 x 4 1/8 and adhered that to the 1″ area. With my Cut & emboss machine, I die cut the banner and leaf image from Shaded Spruce, and the dove from Basic White. I used a sponge dauber and Cloud Cover ink to add color around the feathers of the dove, then added an eye with just a dot of the Journaling pen. I set the dove aside. For the sentiment banner, Inused an embossing buddy to remove any finger marks, stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and sprinkled it with Wow! Polished Silver embossing powder & heat set with my heat tool. I added this to the card front with dimensionals, then added the dove with dimensionals. With dabs of liquid glue, I added the leaf die cut to the Nests of Winter DSP. I made a tiny bow from Bakers Twine – and the card front was complete!
For the inside – a Basic White panel 4 1/8 x 4 3/8 stamped in Shaded Spruce ink using the Jolly Holly stamp set – a July ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. Note the photo of the top view of the book fold.
For the envelope – more of the Nests of Winter DSP adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. An ‘olive branch’ is stamped on the envelope front from the Jolly Holly stamp set (the same July ONLINE EXCLUSIVE)- in Shaded Spruce ink.

Hello stampin’ friends – today is Saturday and I am again sharing Paper Pumpkin alternatives with you. And I guess one of the things I want you to consider is that these projects/ alternatives can be applied to other Stampin’ Up products – NOT JUST Paper Pumpkin!
This card uses one of the card bases in the kit & is very similar to what the kit suggests. I used Strawberry Slush ink for the sentiment and added Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems on the card front. On the inside, I stamped the strawberries in Poppy Parade (a coordinating color recommended by the kit) and Granny Apple Green ink for the top on a Basic White panel and adhered it to Strawberry Slush.
This card uses an original card base & another which I cut up and is a fun fold. It’s a tucked in offset gatefold. The additional supplies for this card are the red & White Bakers Twine, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight inks. In addition, I used more of the strawberry card front to cover the flap of a medium envelope. And look at the last photo to see how the offset gatefold tucks in.
Hopefully you can see how it fold in, slipping it under the circle.

Good morning! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly box of refreshing goodies, mostly to make cards but sometimes to make gift bags or boxes. Today I am using the Sweeter Than You July PP and creating a fun fold. Here is what comes in your kit for July 2025
DETAILS – Makes 8 cards: 2 each of 4 designs – Colors: Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger
Refill includes one of each item listed below. – 8 printed card bases: 2 each of 4 designs – Folded card size: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (14 x 10.8 cm) – 8 printed envelopes – Precut paper and vellum pieces – Adhesive
There’s a stamp set in the original kit, just not in the refill! And here’s my first Alternate card.
I used the card base differently, scoring it at 2 3/4 & 5 1/2 and folding it as shown. I added a Basic White panel behind the vellum & added a Twine double bow, Wink of Stella to flower centers. On the inside, I cut a Garden Green then stamped a Basic White using stamps from the stamp set, Garden Green ink (supplied in the kit) and Daffodil Delight ink from my own stash for the stamped flowers. Everything else is part of the kit.

Welcome to our Thursday group hop! We have a color challenge today and I can’t wait to see what others have chosen to do. But for now, let’s check out my card for today. It’s an off-set gatefold and a birthday card.
This offset gatefold is so incredibly easy a I love the versatility of it. And the Turtle-y Cute 12×12 DSP means this could be a birthday card or hello card or thank you – and male or female! I just may change the sentiment since as I’m typing this, I’m thinking of someone who could use a ‘pick-me-up’, lighthearted card. With no sentiment on the inside – this is probably what I will do! But for now – this is it 😀
The card base is Cloud Cover with a layer of Petal Pink, then the Turtle-y Cute DSP. Card cuts will be listed at the bottom of my post. I used the largest Stitched Shapes circle die for the Basic White circle. On that is a fussy cut frog and a couple of bees also fussy cut. I added a Natural Tones double bow and three Shades of Green Hexagon embellishments for texture & fun. The sentiment is from the Turtle-y Awesome stamp set and stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White scrap, then fussy cut and added to a Cloud Cover scrap & fussy cut again. The circle was added with dimensionals to just the left front of the gatefold. And you can see I fussy cut the cute frog for the lower left corner of the gatefold as well. Lots of fussy cutting on this card today.
For the inside – another layer of Petal Pink then Basic White for writing. I couldn’t help it, these turtles are too cute and I kept finding one after another to fussy cut and add – plus the flower. Each one is added with liquid glue.
For the envelope, I used the Turtle- y Awesome Dies to die cut additional birds from the Turtle-y Cute 12×12 DSP for the envelope front. And – for the flap, more of the same pattern of the Turtle-Y Cute 12×12 DSP adhered & trimmed to fit. Please see below for how to purchase the products to make this card – as well as the measurements.
