Good Monday morning! Have your recuperated yet from the time change? I’m so wishing it would come to an end… just sayin’. My card today is to show off three embossing folders that are part of the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES Stampin’ Up! has in their online store. This is a new program – the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES and new products will be shared March, July & November. They are products that will never be shown in a catalog and may or may not be replenished. Confusing? Well somewhat. But the thing is – if you like it, get it right away so you have it to use and you won’t regret if it sells out and doesn’t return.
What I like about this card is the simplicity of the layout, the bright colors and the showing off of the embossing folders, texture. I also like the oval ‘cuz it balances out the other shapes shown in the DSP and the embossing folders. About the embossing folders: flowers, thumbnail glass dots & cross hatch – these are the designs they create.
This IS a colorful card! The background is a layer of the Brights 6×6 DSP in Granny Apple Green. Love the plaid!!! And it’s adhered to a Granny Apple Green card base. The embossing folders come as a set of three (3) from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES as I mentioned before. And I wanted to really showcase these folders – they have fun shapes and create lots of opportunity for use. These were run through the Cut & Emboss machine with 4 x 5 1/4 card stock, then cut down for use on this card. These were adhered to a Tahitian Tide panel and that was added to the card front with dimensionals. The ribbon is a two-in-one… I created this by putting a strip of tear & tape on the burlap ribbon (from Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo pack) and adding two lengths of Metallic Woven Ribbon in Parakeet Party on the tear & tape. The oval is a die cut from Fabulous Frames Dies, stamped in Tahitian Tide ink using the Sentimental Park stamp set. The cross-hatch also comes from that stamp set & uses Granny Apple Green ink. The embellishments are the 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots in Tahitian Tide.
The inside of the card is a simple cross hatch from the Sentimental Park stamp set, stamped in Granny Apple Green on a Basic White panel. I need room for my special thanks to this person!
The envelope has more cross hatching in Granny Apple Green ink from Sentimental Park stamp set, and the flap has a panel of Brights 6×6 DSP in Granny Apple Green. Talk about a cheerful card! This could easily be a birthday card… just change the sentiment banner 😀

Good Saturday! I have a beautiful new bundle I worked with – an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE that I tried resisting, and couldn’t. 😀 It is stunning! It is called – of all things – Irresistible Blooms Suite and what comes in the suite is: stamp set, coordinating dies, gorgeous 6×6 DSP and Loose Frosted Dots in three colors. An older color is coming back – Lost Lagoon – and that shows in these papers. Another cool thing is the dies die cut the two sizes of flowers in the DSP as well as three leaf shapes. I’ve created a very feminine card with this suite. Let’s take a peek.
See that stunning flower? It’s die cut from one of the papers! And see the leaves under the flower and under the sentiment? Those are also die cut from the DSP. And isn’t that wreath fun? It’s one of the dies as well. The DSP under it all is one of the papers in the pack. It has these cute little bubbles same as the wreath. And see the Loose Frosted Dots? The Petal Pink ones are on the banner while the Soft Seafoam are in the wreath – and notice, three sizes too. They adhere with a tiny dot of adhesive. The sentiment is from the stamp set, stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink , a coordinating color of the DSP, and die cut with the smallest of the Deckled Rectangle Dies. The bow is Sating Edge Ribbon with Gold and added with a glue dot. I don’t know if you can see it in the photo, but I added Shimmery Crystal Effects to the flower on several of the white sections.
The inside of the card is every bit as feminine: more of the DSP on the bottom of the white panel, a smaller die cut flower from the paper, three small leaves die cut as well. The Basic White panel overlays a Flirty Flamingo panel, same as the front, and adhered to the Thick Basic White card base.
The DSP on the envelope flap is the back side of the DSP on the card front. I used the entire 6×6 sheet on this card! I was hoping you could see the Crystal Effects, but it doesn’t really show. Oh well… This suite of products will be available on March 1 and I encourage you get it! You will not regret the purchase. Welcome to Thursday… and the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We have a sketch challenge today and I’m using the Fragrant Flowers Bundle and the Favored Flowers DSP to create it.
To make this card I took a panel of Dainty Flowers DSP and adhered it to the Blackberry Bliss card front. I then took a piece of Basic White card stock and ran it through the Split Card Textures Dies and adhered that over the DSP. I then die cut a couple of flowers from the Favored Flowers DSP using the Fragrant Flowers Dies. It is SO COOL when the dies coordinate with designer series papers. I also die cut two leaves from Evening Evergreen and buds from Fresh Freesia – all using the Fragrant Flowers Dies. The two larger flowers were added to the front with dimensionals, the lower flower adhered directly to the card front, and the buds and two leaves adhered directly as well. I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink using the Fragrant Flowers stamp set on a piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP, then die cut it with a die from Fragrant Flowers Dies. That was added with liquid glue and dimensionals on the ends.For a final touch: Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems in Gorgeous Grape and a fun Open Weave Ribbon bow in Evening Evergreen (this was added with a glue dot). Both the Dainty Flowers DSP AND the Favored Flowers DSP are FREE – each with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration!
For the inside, another set of flowers die cut from Favored Flowers DSP added to a panel of Basic White. The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss using a stamp from Fragrant Flowers stamp set. A single Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gem in Fresh Freesia was added.
The envelope… more Favored Flowers DSP to the flap trimmed to fit and a single flower die cut using the Fragrant Flowers Dies and the Favored Flowers DSP – now completed & ready to send. This card is going to a friend who has struggled with knee issue for over a year, just had meniscus surgery on one knee and anticipates the other knee in about a month. Let’s hope this works for her!

So, I have to laugh at myself & share it with you… I made a card for this blog hop, but when I went to do all the necessary ‘work’ of plugging in the challenge, I realized I made the card for NEXT WEEKS blog hop 😀 How funny is that! So I pulled out a card I hadn’t posted yet and here we go. It’s one we are working on in card class today.
This card is made with the Playing in the Rain stamp set and the Picture This Dies + Rain or Shine DSP. It was super fun to make as the Playing In The Rain stamp set is full of cuteness.
Die cut the Rain or Shine DSP with the Picture This Dies. DSP is 4 x 5 1/4
Place this over a Basic White panel 1/8″ smaller & trace lightly the various circles. in pencil
Decide where & what images you want to use from the Playing In The Rain stamp set then stamp with Memento ink in the various circles. It’s ok to go outside the circle but use a post it note to cover a circle if you think it would stamp in it. see photo
Color images as desired. I used Stampin’ Blends Mango Melody, Cajun Craze & Old Olive for the flowers/ leaves; I used Flirty Flamingo for the rabbit and Old Olive, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze on the turtle image. I also die cut a bow tie in Basic Black using one of the balloon bow dies. 👍😀
Stamp the sentiment from Playing In The Rain in Smoky Slate ink
Erase any remaining pencil marks.
Now lay the die cut Rain or Shine DSP over this panel & adhere in place.
Put dimensionals on the back and adhere to a Smoky Slate A2 card base.
Add the loose Daisy Assortment to the sentiment – and the card front is done!
For the inside…
Stamp the fox, puddles and sentiment in Memento ink
Stamp the raindrops in Smoky Slate ink
Color the fox, umbrella and puddles with Stampin’ Blends: Cajun Craze for the umbrella, Mango Melody for the rain hat & coat, Smoky Slate for the fox and puddles
Add to inside of card & voila!
For the envelope… More Rain or Shine DSP on the flap trimmed to fit; and a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend colored umbrella on the front. The umbrella is stamped in Memento ink & comes from Playing in The Rain Stamp set.
