Stampin’ Up! Flowering Fields DSP Just a Note

Happy Monday! It’s bright & sunshiny here today, but brrrr cold. I hope you had a cozy weekend, a time to relax and a time to play with maybe just a little bit of work mixed in – balance. It’s all about balance, isn’t it?

Today’s card is another using this fabulous tulip pattern from the Flowering Fields 12 x 12 DSP pack. I really like this pattern and well, I just needed to create with it again. :O) This is such a fun layout and a post by Amy Koenders way back in November inspired me. Yesterday I posted a card made with this same pattern of DSP but bordered with Poppy Parade. Today I’ve used Pear Pizzazz and it gives the DSP a different look. The background paper is from this same pack, just not the flowery side 🙂 Here are the details…

Flowering Fields Just a note.1`
  • Prepare a card base (Pear Pizzazz) 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
  • Cut a panel of Flowering Fields DSP 3 1/2 x 4 3/4; cut in half lengthwise; cut right half 1 3/4 x 1 3/4, then 1 3/4 x 2 3/4
  • Adhere pieces to Pear Pizzazz: 1 7/8 x 4 7/8; 1 7/8 x 1 7/8; 1 7/8 x 2 7/8. Put dimensionals on back and adhere, large left panel first, the the right pieces.
  • Slip a length of Crinkled Seam Binding in White behind the lower panels and tie a bow, securing at the knot with a glue dot.
  • Stamp the sentiment from Flowing Flowers stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White strip; trim right end at an angle; put dimensionals on back and add over the ribbon.
  • For a final bit of bling, add three Opal Rounds ~ and the card front is done!
Flowering Fields w/ Flowering Rain Boots, inside

For the inside…

  • Stamp the leaves from Flowering Rain Boots in Pear Pizzazz ink on a post it note & fussy cut to create a mask – set aside
  • Stamp the leaves from Flowering Rain boots in Pear Pizzazz in on a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4
  • Lay the mask on top of the leaves and stamp the flower pot in Calypso Coral ink, again using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set
  • Stamp the flower tops in Poppy Parade ink, making sure to only stamp the needed flower heads. And yes, these are from Flowering Rain Boots stamp set.
  • Using a Stamparatus for proper alignment, stamp the sentiment from Flowing Flowers stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink.
  • Add panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

For the envelope….

Flowering Fields Just a Note.3

All I did to the envelope is simply add the same Flowering Fields 12 x 12 DSP that I used for the background on the front of the card, to the envelope flap ~ and it’s ready for mailing! If the mailman hasn’t arrived yet, this will go to a friend who just had a knee replacement. She loves a handmade card!

So, what do you think? Like this card? Or do you prefer yesterday’s card? Here it is for a comparison.

Flowering Fields B’day

Interesting how similar and yet different these two cards are, just by using different coordinating card stock and some trimming. Would love to know if you have a preference between the two.

Flowering Fields DSP b’day.1

I inked two new stamp sets today – and one is called Flowing Flowers – see the sentiment on the card? That’s from Flowing Flowers. I love this font! It’s fresh & light. Here’s what I did to make the card…

  • Flowering Fields DSP is 3 1/2 x 5 1/2; adhere to the card front
  • Poppy Parade 1/8 x 5 1/2 (cut 4); adhere one length on each side of the DSP
  • Using the Flowing Flowers stamp set, stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade ink on a Basic White scrap; die cut with an Ornate Frames die; adhere with dimensionals as shown
  • Tie a bow using the Open Weave Ribbon in Pale Papaya and adhere with a glue dot. Done!

For the inside….

Flowering Rain Boots for Flowering Fields DSP B’day, inside

  • Using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set, stamp the stems/ leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink. Stamp the coordinating flowers in Blushing Bride ink

  • Add the two lengths of Poppy Parade strips to each side – done!

For the envelope…

Flowering Fields DSP B’day.3

This birthday card is like a breath of fresh air and so perfect for this time of year. It just says happy. :O)

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Fields DSP and Amazing Thanks Dies

The January to June 2022 Mini Catalog is full of absolutely amazing project ideas, new stamp & die sets AND new Designer Series Papers. I hadn’t played much with the Flowering Fields DSP, so when I began doing so, well, I fell in love with it. I saw a layout on Pinterest that I decided to use and adapted it to this card.

Flowering Fields / Amazing Thanks Dies.1

Isn’t that DSP beautiful? I love how gentle the flowers look, sort of blowing in the breeze. And here’s how I made this card.

  • Cut a panel of Rich Razzleberry 4 1/8 x 5 3/8; run it through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder; adhere with liquid glue to the Basic White Thick card base
  • Cut a panel of Basic White 3 x 3 1/2 and run it through the Meadow Moments embossing folder; adhere as shown with liquid glue
  • Cut a length of Flowering Fields DSP 2 1/4 x 5 1/4 and adhere, centering on the card front.
  • Using the Layering Circles Dies, cut a circle from Highland Heather card stock. Put dimensionals on the back and attach where shown
  • Using the Amazing Thanks Dies, die cut the sentiment from Basic White and adhere with liquid glue.
  • Attach several (here I used 5) Brushed Brass Butterflies.
  • And just one more touch of sparkle was needed… cut a length of the Glittered Organdy Ribbon in White and attached with a glue dot under the circle. Love…❤️

For the inside…

Flowering Fields / Amazing Thanks, inside

With the Amazing Thanks Dies comes this wonderful stamp set, Amazing Silhouettes, and this butterfly is absolutely perfect for the inside of this card. Stamp it in Highland Heather ink as shown, on a Basic White panel and adhere to the inside of the card. Done!

For the envelope, I turned this tulip panel over and saw this wonderful color spray from Highland Heather to Rich Razzleberry, and adhered it to the flap. For the envelope front, I stamped the same butterfly from Amazing Silhouettes in Highland Heather ink.

I had such fun creating this card. It’s going in my stash, but I do love it and can’t wait to send it to just the right person. :O)

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Hearts Dies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

WooHoo ~ it’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. You’re going to see some wonderful ideas from this group, so let’s get on with it.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is 18034290_10213018857694437_1570318010991291595_n.jpg

And we have a sketch challenge this week that is kinda fun – and you will see many ideas for making this sketch shine.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop January 20- Sketch Challenge'

My card is a Note card and I’v e chosen to work with the Abstract Beauty 4 x 6 SDSP and the Sweet Hearts Dies. Let’s take a peak.

Sweet Hearts Dies.1

Are these tiny hearts sweet or what?! The die I used cuts four of these at a time which makes it really easily to die cut multiples. As I look at this, I’m wondering why I didn’t add another strip of color to the inside of the Abstract Beauty 4×6 SDSP… Hmmm. A bit of ribbon maybe. Well, another card another day 🙂 These note cards are 3 1/2 x 5, so I cut a panel of Basic White card stock just that size, stamped the sentiment (from Rainbow of Happiness stamp set) in Magenta Madness ink, then ran this through the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I added the two narrow strips of the Abstract Beauty 4×6 SDSP to each side. I die cut the hearts from the same SDSP. The top gold heart is on a mini dimensional cut down to fit. The other hearts are added with dabs of liquid glue, and I put the dot of glue right on the card front in lieu of the heart.

For the inside of the card….

Sweet Heart Dies.2

I added another strip of the Abstract Beauty 4×6 SDSP to the right inside of the card and final heart die cut. Sweet, simple.

Sweet Heart Dies.3

For the envelope I stamped the front with the same sentiment from Rainbows of Happiness stamp set buty used Blushing Bride ink. And for envelope flap, a piece of Simply Marbelous 6×6 DSP (FREE during Sale-a-bration!) adhered with liquid glue and trimmed to fit.

Sale-a-bration is from 4 Jan to 28 Feb ~ that means placing orders during this time can earn you some FREE PRODUCTS. What are you waiting for??? Stampin’ Up! Abstract Beauty DSP B’day

Hello Folks! I’ve been knocked sideways by a cold – slept nearly all of Sunday. Made a card for Monday’s post on Monday… here it is almost 4 PM on Monday – so it will go out properly Tuesday morning. 🙂

Abstract Beauty DSP B’day.1

I happen to love plaids and sometimes some of the ‘other sides’ of designer series papers are more appealing to me. The flower patterns are pretty, but this pattern really struck me. This is 4×6 paper to begin with, so I cut it down to 4 x 5 1/4, adhered a Basic White panel to the back for strength then used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to do the work. I used the 4th &n 5th rectangles to cut the plaid panels and saved the border that was removed. You’ll see why soon enough. I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White scrap with balmy Blue ink using the new Artfully Layered stamp set and die cut it with another of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. At this point I adhered the plaid pieces by putting dimensionals on the back and attaching them to a Just Jade card front. The card needed something else. Since I had this new stamp set out, I also pulled the coordinating dies: Tropical Layers Dies and some Pear Pizzazz scrap and cut this fine frond. I adhered it right on the plaid front with dabs of liquid glue, and added all the little die cut pieces too and liked it. The sentiment panel got more dimensionals and was added on. Voila – love the look.

Remember, I saved that plaid piece that was removed when I die cut the rectangles. Here’s what I did with it.

Abstract Beauty DSP B’day.2

I adhered the left-over piece to a panel of Basic White, then stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink. And done… The best part, this could so easily be a masculine card ~ and it’s going to be! I have a twin brother and our birthday is in February, this is for him :O) And since he doesn’t read my blog, I can share it early 👍

The envelope… I used another of the Abstract Beauty 4×6 DSP pieces for the envelope flap; adhered & trimmed to fit. For the front I stamped this interesting word stamp from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Balmy Blue ink.

Abstract Beauty DSP B’day.3
Abstract Beauty B’day.4

Fun! I’m really happy with this card for my brother. It didn’t start out to be for him, but as I moved along, well, it just happened! Now I have to wait to send it… hope it doesn’t get ‘lost in the shuffle’. 🥴

Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

January is moving right along… the winter cold seems here to stay… not unusual for this time of year. :O) Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! it’s always fun to see what the other team members haver chosen and how fabulously creative they are.

We have an exciting color theme for our hop today and I’ve chosen to use maybe, every color and more.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop January 3- Color Challenge- Pick At Least 3 Real Red Petal Pink HighlandHeather Heather Highland Pool Party Granny Apple Green'
Sending Hugs Bundle – Happy Inkin’ Th Blog Hop

This new bundle just arrived Tuesday and I couldn’t wait to play with it. After stamping with Memento Black ink on a Basic White panel, I chose to color the design with Stampin’ Blends using all the colors listed in the challenge: Real red (I used a marker for the berries), Pool Party for the sentiment, Granny Apple Green for all the leaves, and Petal Pink &Flirty Flamingo for extra definition and finally Highland Heather. This became my main card front. I stamped another of the same image on Basic White and die cut it with the Layering Hugs Dies, then colored with the same colors mentioned above. This panel became the top panel on dimensionals. I also die cut the single letters using another one of the dies, from Pool Party card stock and adhered over the letters in the panel. The die cut letters are smaller, can you tell? And I off-set them to make it look as though there were a shadow.I stamped the word BIRTHDAY in Memento ink on a scrap of Basic White and die cut it with this tiny banner. I added a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel to the left of the word, put dimensionals on the back and placed it. Then I added more of the same 2021-2023 In Color Jewels on the top right and bottom left. To me, it brings all the colors together. It’s a very spring-like card :O) I mounted this on a slightly larger Black piece, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to the Pool Party card base. And the front was done!

Sending Hugs Bundle – Happy Inkin’ Th Blog Hop, inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped this super cute flower three times in Memento Black ink, then colored it with Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green for the leaves, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo for the flower. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue – love the simplicity since the front is busy.

Sending Hugs Bundle – Happy Inkin’ Th Blog Hop

For the envelope I took the leaf stamp from Sending Hugs stamp set and stamped it randomly on the flap in Memento Black ink, then only once on the envelope front. Again, I like the simplicity of the envelope since the card is busy with color.

Products are listed below so feel free to order away :O) If you do not have a demonstrator and need an Annual Catalog please reach out to me – happy to send one to you. Stampin’ Up! New Horizons 6×6 DSP with After the Storm Sympathy

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Did you stay up until midnight to bring in the new year? Here’s to a year of better health for all. Jan. 4 means the new Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog goers live for customers. Today I’m showcasing the New Horizons 6×6 DSP that is in this catalog. It is stunning ~ so different. I’ve created two sympathy cards with this DSP: same format but rearranged somewhat. Let’s take a peek.

New Horizons 6×6 DSP

Isn’t this DSP stunning? These two cards have been created for a woman and her adult daughter whose husband and father passed away just prior to Christmas. He loved to paint and the family loves color, mostly purple and pinks, and this seemed perfect for this. The sentiment on the card at left comes from the After the Storm stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White strip then punched with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Love the fonts in this set!

Left card: after adhering the DSP to Fresh Freesia card stock, I wrapped a length of Open Weave Ribbon in Soft Succulent around both pieces & tied a knot. I then attached the sentiment with dimensionals & added three Garden Gems in green to the banner. This panel was then added to a prepared card base with dimensionals: Thick Basic White with Blackberry Bliss adhered with liquid glue. The card front was now complete!

Right card: DSP was added to Blackberry Bliss card stock with liquid glue; wrapped with a length of Open Weave Ribbon in Fresh Freesia and tied with a knot. The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White piece using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. It was die cut with the Layering Circles Dies and three Garden Gems in the green were added. This was adhered to a scalloped layer of Blackberry Bliss die cut with the Layering Circles Dies. This sentiment circle was attached with dimensionals over the ribbon. I also stamped three birds in Evening Evergreen ink using the After the Storm stamp set. For the background layer, I stamped the large clouds from the After the Storm stamp set, mimicking the pattern on the DSP: Polished Pink at the top, then Blackberry Bliss followed by Evening Evergreen and finally Misty Moonlight. Here’s a photo of that panel.

After the Storm stamp set

This panel was then added to the Soft Succulent card base and the top panels added with dimensionals – and this card front was complete.

For the insides of these two cards…

I used After the Storm stamp set for both of these cards on the inside: Blackberry Bliss and Bumblebee inks for the card on the left; Polished Pink, Bumblebee and Blackberry Bliss for the card on the right. The birds were stamped in Misty Moonlight on this card.

For the envelopes I cut a panel each of the Blackberry Bliss and Soft Succulent card stocks and ran them through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and adhered them to the envelope flaps.

Two very similar cards but different and I love them both. The DSP looks like a water scene to me, which is perfect since the man who passed away was a sailor :O)

please reach out to me – happy to send one to you. AND… I now have the Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog and the 4 January to 28 February 2022 Sale-a-bration catalogs and can send those as well! Despite all the challenges during the year, it has gone F-A-S-T and I think there may have been a couple of times when it felt as though I was off the ‘merry-go-’round’. Lately I have been computer challenged. I don’t know what went wrong b ut I was locked out of my computer. I could text and that was about it. Wierd… but now, well, it seems to be ok again. Let’s hope for that!

Today’s hop is all about fun folds. Let’s take a look at what we’ve got.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop December 30 Theme Challenge Fun Fold'

Rainbow of happiness Fun Fold.1

I had fun creating today’s card. I haven’t been in my craft room for a couple of days; we had family here and my craft room is also a bedroom :O). Needless to say, the room was being used by our granddaughter and we loved having her here – and the rest of the family too BTW! but it did limit my productivity :o) Having the computer go on the blitz just prior to their arrival didn’t help matters any. 😩

The theme as you saw above is a fun fold – and this is a super easy one. It’s similar to a card within a card, with a hole in the middle of the card front.

As I said, super easy to create.

  • Card base is So Saffron card stock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
  • Designer Series Paper is Sunshine & Rainbows 6 x 6 DSP cut to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 adhered directly to the card front. (This DSP is free with a $50 order beginning Jan 4 from the new Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog) hint, hint.
  • Die cut the center with the Tailor Made Tag Dies. (You could use the Layering Circles Dies and a different stamp set for a completely different look.)
  • Die cut the cute rainbow & tag using the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. Reserve the cutouts for the rainbow in this small die!
  • Cut a panel of Basic White card stock 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 and score at 4. (This will become your inner panels with the fold on the right.)
  • Place the ‘liner’ on the inside of the card without adhering it to the inside of the card. Adhere the ‘tag’ to the ‘front’ of the inner card piece. Remember, the inner liner fold is on the right. Decorate.
    • Adhere the tag cut from the card front using the Tailor Made Tag Dies. (I did this by laying the inner panel on the inside of the card, closed the card front over this [the die cut opening will show]) and attached the die cut with Stampn’ Seal. This will allow the tag to ‘fit in’ the die cut of the card front :O) Add the ribbon by tying it in a knot and cutting fairly short so the card easily opens/ closes. The ribbon is Just Jade Open Weave Ribbon.
    • Stamp the sentiment from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set in Magenta Madness ink on a Basic White panel. Die cut with the small rainbow ‘tag’ die from the coordinating Brilliant Rainbow dies. Reserve the rainbow cutouts!
    • Adhere this stamped rainbow ‘tag’ with dimensionals to the die cut tag with the DSP on it. Color the rainbow cutouts with Stampin Blends: Dark Magenta Madness, Dark So Saffron, Dark Pool Party and Petal Pink Marker for the smallest. Adhere behind the rainbow die cut with just dabs of liquid glue. I used tweezers to hold and place easily.
  • Stamp randomly around the larger tag with the thank you stamp from Rainbow of Happiness stamp set in various ink colors: So Saffron, Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Magenta Madness.
  • Open the card insert and stamp the rainbow: Magenta Madness & So Saffron inks – of course using the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set.
  • Stamp the rainbow pattern in Pool Party ink and the sentiment in Petal Pink ink.
  • Stamp the hearts from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set in Magenta Madness ink.
  • Adhere this panel to the inside of the card, lining up the card front tag hole, then closing the card to adhere. Works like a charm! And voila… the card is finished!

For the envelope, I stamped the lines in Pool Party ink and the sentiment in So Saffron ink. I added more Sunshine & Rainbow 6×6 DSP to the envelope flap and called it done.

Rainbow of Happiness.4

Here’s a photo of the stamp set and coordinating dies, plus both sides of the DSP. This is such fun paper… lively colors and fun designs. I have several thank you cards to make and think this stamp set/ dies/ DSP are going to fit that need!

Such fun patterns!

Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home Cards

Yesterday was the end of our virtual OnStage@Home event and we created three cards that I want to share with you today. It was a time of learning about new products and techniques and I’m sorry it’s over. All are made with the Blessings of Home suite of products that we were able to purchase as a bonus for attending convention. These products will be available to customers in the Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog.

OnStage@Home Card 1

This is the first card we created and I love this paper. It was supposed to be a portrait style card and I had cut my paper in the landscape position – so there you have it… it still works. This is a beautiful stamp that shows all this detail and stamps so easily. It wass stamped in Garden Green ink on a basic white panel and colored with sponge daubers. Interesting way to color, right? Turn your sponge daub er kind of on it’s side, tap into the ink, scrub off just a bit, then color the leaves in Garden Green ink, sort of brushing the ink on the leaf. Then do the same with the flower in Misty Moonlight ink – changing sponge daubers of course. Then die cut the flower.

I chose to embellish the flower a bit and die cut some of the ‘sprays’ in the set in Vellum to adhere around the flower.

When adhering the large stamped image to the card, we added dimensionals to the top and the bottom and a strip of Stampin’ Seal across the middle. This allows for dimension in the flower yet also keeps the card from being too bulky – which I really like. I slipped in the vellum die cuts and adhered with dabs of liquid glue.

The banner was stamped in Garden Green ink on a Basic White strip, then adhered with liquid glue to the Denim Ribbon that is part of the suite. Add Stampin’ Seal to the back of the ribbon and attach in the middle part of the flower. Add Matte Dots that are also a part of the suite and the card front is done.

For the inside and the envelope, I stamped a partial flower of the smaller bouquet, both in Garden Green ink. Isn’t the image wonderful?

Card #2 is a notecard size using Cinnamon Cider card stock as the card base. A panel of the Heart & Home DSP was added, again with dimensionals at the top and bottom and a strip of Stampin’ Seal in the middle. We stamped the smaller floral bouquet in Cinnamon Cider ink on a panel of Shimmer Paper. (Love this paper and it’s available NOW in the 2021 Annual Catalog. Shimmer paper is good for watercoloring, using Stampin’ Blends and has as bit of shimmer to it – therefore the name :). We used a Water Painter to pull out some of the color on a couple of flowers. When doing this process, it’s important not to have squeezed too much water into the brush. Adhere this panel at an angle over the DSP.

OnStage@Home Card 2

We stamped the sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink, to bring out the DSP in the background, also on Shimmer paper. We added dimensionals just to left side of the panel and adhered it to the card. We die cut several of the ‘sprays’ and adhered with liquid glue under the right side of the sentiment panel. We added the Cinnamon Cider flower tops with dabs of liquid glue.

For the inside of the card I stamped a partial image of the small floral bouquet in Cinnamon Cider ink.

OnStage@Home Card 3

This card is landscape intentionally but you can see clearly that I cut my paper in portrait – silly me. Yes, I WILL have to redo this card! The card base is Fresh Freesia with the added panel of Heart & Home DSP. And yes, to drive home the idea of not too much bulk, dimensionals were added to the far right and left sides of the DSP and a bit of Stampin’ Seal in the middle. Die pieces were cut in both Cinnamon Cider and Fresh Freesia, adding the longer sprays with liquid glue near the middle. The banner was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink and this is a reverse side of this DSP – love it. The banner was added with dimensionals then the Fresh Freesia Flowers with dabs of liquid glue.

For the inside of the card I stamped the partial flower in Garden Green ink the colored it with Stampin’ Blends in Pale Papaya. And the envelope was stamped in Garden Green ink but not colored.

As you already know, the first & last cards must be re-done… so here’s a challenge for you… choose which of the cards you like the best and whichever card gets the most votes, will be sent to one of the responders. And yes, it will be going in the proper direction – promise.

Here are the items in this suite.

Stampin’ Up! Words of Cheer Notecards

Hi friends. It’s Saturday and the last day of our OnStage@Home Stampin’ Up virtual convention :O(. There is always lots of inspiration and ideas AND the viewing of the next Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog + the Sale-a-bration items as well!. Oh my! Some really fun new products that I think you’re going to love. Can’t wait to share the catalog with you… but not just yet. We have to wait a bit for that. My notecards today are a direct CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of Tami Wilson. I used some different ribbons, but the idea is strictly hers. Give credit where credit is due, right? With various card stocks and DSP, these would be perfect thank you notes, sympathy cards, etc. Of course, change the sentiment as well 😏…

Words of Cheer Notecards.1

These are so fun & easy I couldn’t resist – and they are the perfect size to use as a gift or a thank you. They would fit in our mini Paper Pumpkin boxes if you wanted to get really fancy. :O)

Here are the details:

  • Basic White notecards & Envelopes
  • Tidings of Christmas 6×6 DSP cut to 2 3/4 x 5
  • Cork Paper cut to 1 1/4 x 5 then die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies
  • Black card stock cut to 1 1/2 x 2 1/4
    • stamp with VersaMark ink using the Whimsy & Wonder stamp set, then heat emboss with White Embossing Powder.
    • Die cut with Tailor Made Tags Dies.
  • Soft Succulent card stock 1 1/2 ” square: die cut holly leaves from the Christmas Cheer Dies.
  • Evening Evergreen card stock 1 1/2″ square: die cut pine sprigs from the Christmas Cheer Dies.

Putting it together:

  • Adhere the DSP to the far right side of the Note Card
  • Adhere the Cork die cut near the fold and just covering the DSP
  • Wrap the notecard three to four times with Linen Thread and tie a bow. (I also used White Bakers Twine & Red Crochet thread)
  • Add the die cut sentiment panel with dimensionals
  • decorate with the pine sprigs and holly leaves, adding with glue dots or dabs of liquid glue
  • add Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. If you want you can also add Genial Gems in the gold or Gilded Gems for extra bling
  • adhere the bow to the sentiment panel with a glue dot to secure in place.
