Fold with Tartan Foil and Forever Forest for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop Group
Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Sketch. 9/14 hop
Stampin' Up! Z-fold w/ Forever Forest & Tartan Foil

Love this new Tartan Foil Specialty DSP that’s available in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. This is while supplies last – and let me tell you, this will NOT last long! My opinion of course… The card base is Pebbled Path card stock 8 12 x 5 12, scored at 2 1/8 & 4 1/4 to make the Z fold. I added a layer of Lost Lagoon to the front, 2 x 5 3/8, then the Tartan Foil in Peb bled Path and adhered this only on the left side over the Lost Lagoon. I then added my layers: Lost Lagoon 2 1/4 x 3 3/4, the trees die cut with the Forever Forest Dies from Shimmery paper, and the circle was die cut from Winter Meadow DSP using the Deckled Circles Dies. The larger tree is behind the circle and adhered directly with liquid glue; the circle is on dimensionals and the smaller tree is aderedc to that. For embellishment I added three Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins in white – and the front was complete.

Stampin' Up! Z-fold w/ Forever Forest & Tartan Plaid, inside

For the inside, a layer of Lost Lagoon 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, then a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4 stamped in Lost Lagoon ink second generation, using the Forever Forest stamp set. I love when this is turned back like this you can see the reverse side of the Tartan Plaid. Pretty, isn’t it? There’s no greeting used on this card so it could easily be a masculine card for hello friend, thinking of you or a holiday greeting! Love the flexibility!

Stampin' Up! Z-fold top view

And here’s a top view of the Z-fold so you can see what it really looks like. :O)

Stampin' Up! Z-fold w/ Forever Forest & Tartan Plaid card & envelope

For the envelope, the reverse side of this Tartan Plaid pattern was adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. On the front, another second generation stamping of the trees from Forever Forest stamp set. And BTW, this stamp actually has more trees than is shown here or on the inside of the card, but they aren’t seen here :O)

OK, now you have seen my card, it’s time to see what the rest of the Krew are creating. Click the next button to take you to the fabulous Carol Buckalew or click on a name to go where you desire. Have fun hopping!

Stampin’ Up! Halloween Theme for AIK Blog Hop Group

Our theme for today’s blog hop is halloween – what would you do? I’m not much of a halloween person. Growing up, this was a favorite holiday for my folks, dressing up and dressing us kids and visiting neighbors & friends. They even had a Halloween group that gathered for costume competition and evening of fun. I just have to say – not my thing for some reason.

Stampin' Up! AIK Team Blog hop
Stampin' Up! Cottage Wreaths Halloween. Tue hop 9/12

This was actually very fun to create, despite my angst about halloween :O) Them Bones DSP found in the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog was my ‘go to’ and it served as the ‘purfect’ background. I cut the panel to fit the Basic Black card base front and adherred it in place. Next I fussy cut these two images from another piece of Them Bones DSP: the skeleton-like dog and skeleton-like cat, put dimensionals on the back of each and added them as you see them here. And let’s just say, I needed to trim the dimensionals so they would fit on the legs and tails of each animal – and it worked! I needed a sentiment and looking through my stash found this ‘BOO’ from Cottage Wreaths stamp set (one of my favorites!) I stamped it in VersaMark ink then sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool – all on a Basic Black strip. I trimmed it with my Paper Snips and put dimesnionals on the back. I then cut a length of this wonderful Gingham Ribbon in Black & White, put glue dots on it’s back and put both in place. I pulled out my embellishments and found these 2023-2025 In Color Dots – in Copper Clay and added them to the card front. And finis!

Stampin' Up! Cottage Wreaths Halloween, card inside

The spider is another of the stamps in this Cottage Wreaths stamp set and so totally right for a halloween card. It was stamped in Memento Black ink on the Basic White panel, then this was added to a Pumpkin Pie piece slightly larger, then into the card base. And it fits the bill for a halloween card that I love. Hope you do too!

Now it’s time to see what others in our group have pulled together for the hop. Click the Previous or the next button to follow along OR… click on a name to take you where you want to go. Enjoy the hop!

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You

Good Monday! I have a sweet card for you today using a DSP from the SU! Online Exclusives store: Naturally Guilded Specialty DSP. It’s beautiful, woodsy but in a gold, silver and copper.

Stampin' Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You

I chose the silver and used Blending Brushes to add color. The inks are Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Azure Afternoon. After coloring, I placed an Azure Afternoon panel behind it, dimensionals, and added it to a Pebbled Path card base. With the Meadow Dies, I die cut this sweet flower from Basic White and colored with Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon inks using Blending Brushes. Combining those two colors on the stem & leaves made them green, without adding a third ink color :O). I die cut the flower center from Early Espresso card stock. The Sentiment is from Quiet Meadow stamp set and stamped in Pebbled Path ink and die cut with the Meadow Dies. I added dimensionals to it and placed it over the flower. The bow is a double bow made with the Simply Elegant Trim in silver and was added with a glue dot. The final touch was the addition of several Festive Pearls in silver, both on the sentiment and the card front.

Stampin' Up! Quiet Meadow Sympathy, inside

For the inside another Azure Afternoon panel was adhered first. The Basic White panel was stamped with this lovely flower bunch from Quiet Meadow stamp set in Stazon Ink. I colored it with Light Lemon Lolly, Light Granny Apple Green and SU 100 Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is again from Quiet Meadow stamp set and stamped in Pebbled Path ink.

Stampin' Up! Quiet Meadow card & envelope

The envelope did not stamp so well :O( but I used the same stamp as the inside of the card, from Quiet Meadow stamp set. And more Naturally Guilded SDSP on the flap. After trimming to size I colored it as I did the card front: Blending Brushes, Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon inks.

Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn and Hope You Know Sympathy

Good morning! Todays card is super simple, but the DSP (All About Autumn 6×6 DSP) takes full credit for the beauty. This Designer Series Paper is one of the packs in the new Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. Many of the papers in this pack are just breath-takingly stunning. And for me, this is one of them.

Stampin' Up! All about Autumn & Hope you Know Sympathy

I am a facilitator for a Grief Share program and one of the attendees was a gentleman who lost his wife. He came so faithfully for at least two 13 week sessions. He began having some heart problems and his regularity became – well, irregular. He passed away recently and even though he had some health issues, I believe he died of a broken heart. I didn’t meet his son, but I spoke to him & he knew who I was. I was so deeply touched by the son’s father. He was a true gentleman and was grateful for the Grief Share group. That man made a definite impression on me and will not be soon forgotten. This card is for that man’s son & family.

The Designer Series Paper (All About Autumn DSP) was cut at 4 x 5 14 and added to a Cajun Craze panel just slightly larger. Both were added to the Very Vanilla card base with dimensionals. The sentiment is from a stamp set in the Annual Catalog called Hope You Know, stamped on a Very Vanilla scrap and fussy cut. I die cut a background with the smallest of the rounded rectangular dies in the Nested Essential Dies – also an annual catalog item. The sentiment was adhered with liquid glue to this Cajun Craze die cut. I added a length of Copper Ribbon with Stampin’ Seal from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack in the new Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. The banner was added to the card front with dimensionals. As a final touch, three Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were added to the banner. And the card front was done! The All About Autumn 6×6 DSP did all the work!

Stampin' Up! Hope You Know sentiment

For the inside, again on a Very Vanilla panel, the sentiment from Hope You Know stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink. I really like how clear it is – and the font as well. At the bottom of this I added a strip of the same All About Autumn DSP. This Very Vanilla stamped piece was added to Cajun Craze, then attached to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base – and the card was done!

Stampin' Up! All about Autumn Card & envelope

For the envelope, I simply turned this same paper to the other side and adhered it to a Very Vanilla envelope. I did nothing to the envelope front. The simplicity and the colors make this a perfect masculine sympathy card. It will go out in Monday’s mail!

Stampin’ Up! Fall Leaves Theme for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Fall Leaves Theme Thus hop 9/7
Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Double Easel Card

This is how it looks from the side.

Stampin' Up! Double Easel card side view

This is a double easel card and not complicated. There ARE a lot of steps cuz there’s coloring with both Watercolor Pencils and Blending Brushes. So… let’s start with those first.

Leaves from Autumn Leaves stamp set & Autumn Leaves Dies

  • Ink the leaf from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry ink.
  • With that still ink on the stamp, with various Blending Brushes add dabs of Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow. I find it best to tap the ink on lightly, especially if the color is strong.
  • Stamp on a Very Vanilla panel. Clean stamp and repeat process so there are two leaves stamped. You will note in my photo, one is much lighter than the other – that was intentional!
  • Die cut leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies & set aside.
  • Die cut leaf veins with appropriate die from Autumn Leaves Dies using scraps from both Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake card stock.
  • Adhere to appropriate stamped & die cut leaves with dabs of liquid glue – DO NOT PUT GLUE ON THE TAIL OF THE VEIN!

Bird – Perched In A Tree stamp set with coordinating Aspen Tree Dies

  • Stamped this very fat robin in Stazon ink on a Basic White scrap. Stazon because it stamps so very clearly and does not bleed at all when colored.
  • Watercolor Pencils: Early Espresso & Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Real Red. I listed them this way as they will be used in pairs as listed.
    • With a flicking motion, begin adding color to the robin with Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil. This is a base layer and need not be too heavy. The reason for the flicking motion in lieu of back & forth coloring is it look more natural, more feather like. Refer to the photo for where this color should be added.
    • Add Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil in the same way.
    • Now add more Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil until you are satisfied.
    • Switch to Pumpkin Pie and do the head & chest, flicking as you go to make it look like real feathers. Change direction of the flicking too – or… turn the robin to make the motion easier for the particular direction.
    • Add Real Red Watercolor Pencil, more on the top and under the beak, still flicking making it feather-like.
    • Add Early Espresso Watercolor Pencil to the beak and to the feet
    • Die cut with die from Aspen Tree Dies – set aside.

The base for a Double Easel Card:

  • I used Crumb Cake card stock… 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 & 2 3/4; the bottom half is also Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, scored at 2 & 1/4. Burnish well all score lines.
  • Adhere the 1/4 scored area to the inside of the card base that is not scored.
  • Add a Very Vanilla panel 4 1/4 x 5 3/8 to the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 area of the card base, covering the adhered Crumb Cake front piece. This is the inside of the card and could be stamped if you so desired. I left it blank.
Stampin' Up! Double Easel card, inside view

Now let’s decorate… :O)

  • Die cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 5 3/8 with this wonderful open Aspen Tree Die.
  • Add this die cut piece to the front folded section of the card base. NOTE: you are adding this die with glue only on the lower half. HINT: I turned the die over and marked lightly with a pencil, the area to add glue. :O)
  • Lay die right in place over the die cut panel, place cutting plate to score line & run through, cutting that front fold section. You may have to go back & forth a bit, but only cut to the score line!
  • With a craft knife, cut pieces that should be removed per the die.
  • Stamp sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla in Early Espresso ink. My sentiment is from the Perched In A Tree stamp set and the Very Vanilla is approximately 5/8 by 5. Adhere sentiment with dimensionals over the score line.
Stampin' Up! Perched In A Tree back side of partial die cut

This is what it looks like from the back once adhered and die cut the second time. It’s clear my Exacto knife was not quite sharp enough to make clean cuts. :O(

  • Die cut additional leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies, Aspen
    Tree Dies
    and Distressed Gold Specialty DSP.
    • adhere the two like leaves on the sentiment banner with liquid glue.
  • FRONT section of the double easel…
  • With stamp from Perched in a Tree, stamp the splotches with on Very Vanilla panel 1 3/4 x 4 14 with stamped-off Pecan Pie ink.
  • Add panel to very front of easel section, centering top to bottom.
    • Add reserved stamped leaves colored with Blending Brushes – Autumn Leaves stamp set & Autumn Leaves Dies – with liquid glue.
    • Add Aspen Tree Die in Distressed Gold with liquid glue on one end and dimensional on leaf tip end. This adds depth.
    • Add double bow made with Simply Elegant Trim in Gold with glue dot.
  • Add robin die cut with Aspen Tree Dies with double dimensionals
  • For a final touch… add several Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to this panel and to the Aspen Tree die cut on the top section of the easel.
Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Double Easel Card & envelope

For the envelope… I added Neutral 6×6 DSP in Crumb Cake to the flap & trimmed it to fit. For the envelope front I stamped the leaf vein from Autumn Leaves stamp set in Early Espresso ink. My card was inspired by Jo Blackman and a card she made in 2022.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk 6×6 Birthday card

Good Wednesday – happy Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog opening day!!! Wheee. It’s time for customer ‘happy day’, right? My card today features one of the Designer Series Paspers in this new catalog – Garden Walk 6×6 DSP.

Stampin' Up!Garden Walk 6x6 birthday

I’ve paired this designert series paper with Timeless Charm bundle which is part of an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE as I do not yet have the coordinating stamps & dies to the DSP. Aren’t the colors pretty? Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, and Garden Green plus some softer tones of maybe Balmy Blue, although that is not mentioned on the color coordination label.

The Garden Walk DSP is cut 1 x 4 for the two longer strips & 1 x 2 3/4 for the two end strips. And the cool part about this particular pattern is that the dotted side is the reverse of the flower pattern side :O). These were adhered to a Calypso Coral piece 4 x 5 1/4.n The Basic White piece is 1 5/8 x 2 7/8 and stamped prior to adhering in place. The sentiment comes from Timeless Charm stamp set and was stamped in Poppy Parade ink. The splotches are from the Timeless Charm stamp set and stamped in second generation Calypso Coral ink. Once adhered in place, the die cut flower was adhered with liquid glue. This is a Basic White die cut from the Timeless Charm Dies. The Garden Green leaves are a die cut from Timeless Charm Dies and also adhered with liquid glue. I die cut an additional flower center in Calypso Coral and adhered in in place with mini dimensionals. The final touch for the card front was the Iridescent Pastel Gems in Balmy Blue.

Stampin' Up! Timeless Charm stamp set

Again, using Timeless Charm stamp set, I stamped this ‘blob’ in second generation Calypso Coral then added the flower from Timeless Charm stamp set in Poppy Parade – all on a Basic White panel.

Stampin' Up! Garden Walk 6x6b DSP birthday card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the Garden Walk 6×6 DSP for the flap, adhered & trimmed to fit. The fun leaf stamp is from Timeless Charm stamp set and stamped in stamped off Garden Green ink. A very thin strip of the Garden Walk 6×6 DSP was added at the bottom to tie it all together. A fun, quick and easy card :O)

Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn Monochromatic Card

Good Tuesday morning… it’s gong to be a HOT one again today – about 94! Remember last week how excited I was that temps early in the morning were 54? Well, not this week!!! Ok, enough of that – I have a pretrty card for you today… using the fabulous All about Autumn DSP and the Autumn Leaves bundle – orderable TOMORROW from the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. :O)

Stampin' Up! All About Autumn

Isn’t this a stunning Designer Series Paper? And the great thing is, the Autumn Leaves stamp set & dies coordinate so perfectly. The card base is Moody Mauve with another layer of the same card stock that was run through a Basics 3D embossing folder (an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE).; a layer of Very Vanilla and the All About Autumn DSP cut into panels; a sentiment from Autumn Leaves stamp set stamped in Moody Mauve ink on Very Vanilla and die cut with a die from Autumn Leaves Dies. I added a length of the Textured Ribbon in Moody Mauve directly to the card front with Stampin’ Seal before adding the die cut sentiment with dimensionals. The final touch was the addition of three small Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots, also in Moody Mauve to the die cut sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves bundle

For the inside, this wonderful sentiment from Autumn Leaves stamp set stamped in Moody Mauve ink on the Very Vanilla panel. I also added a leaf using the Autumn Leaves Dies and Rose Gold Specialty Paper.

Stampin' Up! All About Autumn card & envelope

For the envelope, I turned over the remainder of the original piece of the All About Autumn DSP used for the card front and adhered it to the flap, trimming it to fit. There was a narrow strip left and I adhered that to the bottom of the envelope front.

Good morning, good morning! Happy Labor Day Weekend… I have this super cute card for you today, so getting right to it.

Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Pop-Out card, front
Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Pop-out Card, inside
Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Pop-Out Card, fully open

This card could be good for Thanksgiving or for Christmas. Yes, it does have holly leaves as part of the embellishments and ond colored on the cake, but … remove the embellishments and add something else for embellishment, color the sweater a different color, maybe Pumpkin Pie and there ya go. Oh, and don’t stamp the badger.

I used Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper in this wonderful plaid for the card front and another piece of DSP from the same pack for the pop-out portion. The card base is Pecan Pie.

  • Cut the card base 8 1/2 x 5 12 and score at 4 1/4
  • Cover the front in Designer Series Paper 4 x 5 1/4 (this is Let’s Go Fishing DSP)
  • Using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies, place it on the card front, centering left to right, and die cut.
  • Add a panel of Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/4 to the inside of the card.
  • Cut a panel of Pecan Pie card stock 6 x 4 1/2 and cover in DSP 5 3/4 x 4 1/4. Score on the long side at 2″ & 4″. Burnish well.
  • Stamp the badger image from Festive & Fun stamp set on the second panel in Memento ink and color with Stampin’ Blends Crumb Cake. Color Lifter and Real Red for the candy cane stripes.
  • Cut a panel of Very Vanilla 4 x 1 1/2; stamp the sentiment from Festive & Fun stamp set in Real Red ink; add Real Red strips; adhere to far left panel of this three panel fold.
  • Adhere this three fold panel, centering, to the inside of the card. TIP: Before adhering it in place close card to make certain it centers with the circle opening of the card front.
  • Die cut the same size circle as the card front in Real Red card stock
  • Stamp image from Festive & Fun stamp set in Memento ink on a Very Vanilla panel and punch out with 2 3/8 circle punch. Color with Stampin’ Blends Crumb Cake, Real Red, Granny
Apple Green, Lemon Lolly (bottom of cake) and Wink of Stella
for the cake top. Adhere this to the Real Red Circle.
  • Close card front with the inside three-fold panel folded; adhere decorated circle to the folded panel in the circle opening.
  • Decorate card front as desired.
    • I added a bow with Linen Thread and Real Red ribbon from the Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack
    • I also added these super cute holly leaves from the Loose Holly Gems & Sequins in the new Sep-Dec 2023 Mini catalog.
Stampin' Up! Pop-Out Card from the top
Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Popo-Out Card & Envelope

The photo at left shows how the pop-out card looks from the top. The next photo is the card & envelope… the flap is covered in more of the Let’s Go Fishing DSP and the front is stamped with this cute bird in Memento ink from the Festive & Fun stamp set. It was colored with Real Red Stampin’ Blends.

Fun card, right? I can’t wait to see what you create with this Pop-Out idea. So many stamp sets to choose from!

Stampin’ Up! Sneaky Peek of Wishes All Around, Snowflakes

Hello Saturday! Beautiful day here at the Jersey Shore – 54 degrees at wake-up time, warming as we ‘speak’. My card today some new products and some from the Annual Catalog – a good mix to show how SU! coordinates all their products.

Stampin' Up! Wishes All Around bundle, snowflake wreath

Isn’t this snowflake wreath pretty? It’s die cut using Wishes All Around Dies from the new Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog and Soft Shimmer paper in the annual cattie and sits on a Bright & Beautiful 6×6 DSP die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies in a square. That was added to Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Color Luster paper just slightly larger. Here are the proper steps: die cut the square; die cut the wreath; lay the wreath on the die cut to indicate where to stamp the sentiment; remove wreath & stamp sentiment in Moody Mauve ink using a stamp from Wishes All Around stamp set; adhere wreath with dots of liquid glue; adhere to 2023-2025 In Color Luster paper in Moody Mauve.

Now create your card base: Moody Mauve with a layer of new product from the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini CatalogSnowflake Magic Specialty DSP in white. I used strips of Silver Foil Specialty Pack to ‘frame’ the ‘centerpiece’ of the card. Here’s a tip on how to do that, cuz the square is on dimensionals…

TIP: Add a dab of Stampin’ Seal to the back of the square. Touch it several times to remove some of the sticky. Place it on the card front pushing down lightly. Add strips butting them up against square. Twist the square to remove it from the card front – do not pull straight up! Put dimensionals on the square and put in place.

To complete the decorating of the card… die cut more snowflakes using the Wishes All Around Dies and more of the Silver foil Specialty Pack. Adhere where desired. Tie a bow with the Metallic Woven Ribbon in Sweet Sorbet and Linen Thread and add with liquid glue.

And here’s another tip… When I add bows I sometimes use a glue dot, but if the bow is small, I like to use liquid glue. Put an acryllic block on top of it to hold in place until it is completely dry :O)

Stampin' Up! Wishes All Around, snowflakes inside

For the inside… on a piece of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Wishes All Around stamp set in Misty Mauve ink. i had an extra die cut snowflake from the Wishes All Around Dies and the Silver Foil Specialty Pack and added it to the Basic White panel.

Stampin' Up! Wishes All Around bundle, card & envelope

For the envelope… very simple – these three snowflakes on the envelope front were stamped in Misty Mauve ink and come from Wishes All Around stamp set. The envelope flap got more of the same Snowflake Magic Specialty DSP, adhered & trimmed to fit.

You may want to know why I chose a shade of pink for snowflakes… truth be told, when I was growing up I had an aunt who every Christmas her tree was decorated in silver & pink – therefore the inspiration. It’s not my style, I’m more of a traditional red & green kinda gal, but this turned out pretty well – and in memory of my aunt.

Now, I want to talk about the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog just a bit. The Designer Series paper shown on this card is one of the papers in the new cattie, and I have a Paper Share opportunity for you…

Stampin’ Up! Sneaky Peek of a New Mask

Good Friday morning! It’s cool here in the northeast – 54 degree when we walked. And that means fall is a-comin’. That’s perfect for today’s card because I chose to use one of the masks in the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.

Stampin' Up! Abundant Beauty Leaves Mask

I used Blending Brushes and three colors of ink to create this with one of the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler – definite fall colors. And here’s the mask after using the Blending Brushes.

You can see that I held the paper in place AND the mask in place using post-it notes. And that is a key to making the finished product clear. I trimmed the Basic White panel a bit then with a Water Painter added some water splotches. I did this by squeezing just a bit of water into the brush then tapping it against my other hand. Once dry I used an Early Espresso Marker to flick some splatters to the entire panel. This was added to a Cherry Cobbler panel just slightly larger. I wanted the card base to be Pumpkin Pie card stock, but also wanted some texture on the card – so ran a separate panel of Pumpkin Pie through the cut & emboss machine with the Basics 3D Embossing folder, Crosshatch. This is a product part of the Online Exclusives. This embossed panel was adhered to the card base withn loiquid glue and the top two panels were added with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment using another new product available Sep 6, the Abundant Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on another Basic White piece, and die cut it with a die from the Abundant Leaves Dies. I also wanted another image behind the sentiment and looked at the Abundant Leaves Dies and say this image that is really ‘veins’ for a leaf. I die cut it from Early Espresso card stock and added it with dots of liquid glue to the card front, putting dimensionals on the sentiment and adding it over the die cut. As a final touch I added three Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots – also a new product available Sep 6.

Using the die cut from Abundant Leaves Dies as a stencil, I used the Blending Brushes used to create the card front, to create the image on the inside of the card. Again, the Basic White panel was adhered to a Cherry Cobbler card stock then added to the inside of the card.

Abundant Beauty Leaves Mask card & envelope

With the Abundant Beauty Masks still on my desk, I used the mask and Blending Brushes to decorate the envelope, some leaves on the front, then the entire flap. it ties everything together. Abundant Beauty Masks – a real bargain and a fun play with Blending Brushes!

Remember, several of the items used to create this card will be available Sep 6 as they are in the Sep-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. If you do not have a demonstrator or a new catalog, please reach out to me. I also have a Designer Series Paper Share as part of the same catalog – touting all the new Designer Series Papers. Here’s more info re: that…
