Good Monday! It’s turned cold again after a very beautiful day of 81 degrees – ah, that’s Spring. That 81 degrees made the hostas pop up, helebores are in full bloom (they love the cool!), daffodils & crocus are blooming as well. I really enjoy this time of year.
My card today is for a friend who isn’t feeling all that great, I’ve combined the Friends For Life Dies and the Wanted To Say Dies to create my messages – and the last of my Wildly Flowering 12×12 DSP.
To make this card I began with my card base: Moody Mauve cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. I layered a panel of Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 that I ran through a brand new Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder, a new favorite. This piece was adhered directly to the card base. Next I cut a piece of the Wildly Flowering DSP 4 x 3, that coordinates with the strips of another piece of the Wildly Flowering DSP. This was cut 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, then into strips 1/2, 3/4, 1 & 1 1/4. I spaced then evenly along the 4 x 3 panel & adhered with Stampin’ Seal. I took a scrap of the Wildly Flowering DSP 4 x 2 1/2 & die cut the background for the word ‘friend’ from the Friends For Life Dies. Next I took a piece of Basic White 4 x 2 5/8 and covered the back with Adhesive Sheets. I then die cut the word ‘friend’ from that, removed the backing of the Adhesive Sheet and attached it to the DSP background die cut. I put this on dimensionals and adhered it over the DSP strips, added dimensionals to the 4 x 3 DSP panel and attached to the card front. As a final touch, I added five (5) Adhesive-Backed Textural Dots and the card front was complete.
For the inside, I took another piece of the Wildly Flowering DSP in Moody Mauve, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, attached aAdhesive Sheet to that & die cut the sentiment from the Wanted To Say Dies. I attached this to the center of a Basic White piece 4 x 5 1/4. I then used a Blending Brush & Moody Masuve ink to add some color to the edges of this Basic White panel, then attached it to the inside of the card.
For the envelope, more Wildly Flowering DSP, 2 1/4 x 6, attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. A simple flower from the Wildflower Designs stamp set was stamped in Moody Mauve ink on the envelope front. Done, ready to send in hopes my friend will ‘feel better soon’!
The 2024-2025 Annual Catalog is quickly coming to an end – and the 2025-2026 catalog will be released soon. I believe this Wildly Flowering DSP is on the Last Chance List. Good morning! Today I am headed to Raleigh, NC for a Stampin’ Up! Convention :O) When you read this, I will have landed and seen several of our Krew Team. This weekend Stampin’ Up! will reveal to demonstrators, the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog!!! Wheee! I can share the cover only, not the inside of the catalog – and I can share products that I receive: stamps & cards that we make, like that. So, I look forward to sharing some of the fun we will be doing, Stay tuned!
Today I am sharing a masculine card made with some of the products in the Botanical Textured Suite of products – ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. We have a sketch challenge – take a look to see what I’ve created.
The Woven Textures Designer Series Papers in this suite are absolutely perfect for masculine cards. This larger background paper looks like woven fibers. (My hubby says it looks like coffee beans!) I cut a piece 4 x 5 1/4 then die cut it with the largest rectangle die in the Textured Notes Dies. It creates a wonderful design around the edge which is obscured here by the patterned DSP (durn!) After die cutting, I adhered it to Basic Beige 4 x 5 3/8 then attached it to the Early Espresso card front (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4). I chose another pattern from the Woven Textures DSP and used the 3rd from smallest die in the Textured Notes Dies to die cut it, then attached it to another Basic Beige panel 2 x 3 3/8, wrapped Linen Thread around it 3 times & tied a knot. This I added to the card front with dimensionals. The final step for the front is the Basic Beige panel with the sentiment from Textured Notes stamp set stamped in Early Espresso ink using the Textures Notes Stamp set, then die cut with the shortest rectangle die in the Textured Notes Dies. This too was added to the card front with dimensionals.
For the inside… Basic Beige cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 adhered to the inside of the card. With a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel, stamp this wonderful woven image from the Textured Notes stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I love how the image ‘fades out’ on the bottom! This panel was attached to the Basic Beige and the card itself was complete.
For the envelope… more of the same Woven Textures DSP to the adhered to the flap and trimmed to fit. And again, the same woven stamp image from Textured Notes stamp set, stamped across the bottom of the envelope front in Early Espresso ink. This could so easily be a thank you card, (just change the sentiment) or a birthday card (change the sentiment) and the layout & Designer Series Paper is perfect for a masculine card. See what YOU can create with this layout and papers – and please share it with me.
Now – time to see what others are creating on this fun hop… check the links below – and enjoy the fun! To shop with me – see information below the lst of names.

Stampin’ Up! is jumping in with some new policies & strategies.
As of April 15, there will no longer be ‘host codes.’ Instead, customers will be earning 10% rewards with every purchase of $20 or more that can be used for their next order. Those rewards must be used within the next year, but they can also be shared or given to someone or saved up and used in one big purchase. Hooray! This does mean my own rewards to customers will be going away – as you, the customer, will be earning rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! This is definitely a win-win.
You DO need to be sure you have an account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards. So, ‘opt in’ to the program to earn those rewards. These changes ,will take place April 15, 2025 at 8AM Mountain time. Yes, this is early – but I want to be certain you are aware of what the future holds – and it’s all GOOD!
I can’t wait to share pictures of teammates and the cover of the new Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, and anything else that’s ‘legal’ to share :O)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a terrifically marvelous day!
As I mentioned earlier, I am in Raleigh, NC for a couple of days at a Stampijn’ Up! convention. Stampin’ Up! will share with the demonstrators present, the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I’m excited to see new products, new techniques, and new colors. What would you be looking for in particular if you were attending this convention? I would love to know!
Good morning & happy hump day :O) Yesterday I shared a four panel card – today is a three panel card. I used Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP but any DSP could be used. Remember that this Fruit Salad DSP is available for two more days only as it’s a freebie with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration, which ends at end of day Feb. 28. Here are the two cards I want to share.
These cards have the same layout, even the same Mixed Labels Bundle for the sentiment & die cut. The differences are the ribbon and embellishments: Daffodil Delight 1/4″ ribbon on the card at left and Peach Pie Ribbon on the card at right. Embellishments for those cards are Iridescent Foil Gems and Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
For the inside, I added a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel on the card at left and fussy cut a pineapple for the card at right & adhered it to the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel.
For the envelopes… more of the Fruit Salad DSP on the flap adhered & trimmed to fit. Again, I fussy cut an image from the DSP for the card at right
Card cuts:
Card base: Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
DSP: 4 x 5 1/4 (adhered to card front); 3 x 4 1/4, then cut into 1 x 4 1/2 strips (adhere to layering panel); 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope flap)
Layering panel: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (Basic White for these 2 cards)
Sentiment: Stamp in Early Espresso ink and die cut with Mixed Labels Dies
Directions:
Attach the 3 DSP panels to the layering panel
Wrap w/ ribbon
Attach sentiment with dimensionals
Add embellishments
Products used:
Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP
Thick Basic White
Basic White
Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Ribbon
Peach Pie Ribbon
Early Espresso ink
Mixed Labels Dies
Paper Trimmer
Dimensionals
Glue dots
What’s so great about panel cards is that depending on masculine or feminine DSP and sentiment chosen, these are a wonderful ‘go to’ layout for any occasion: birthday, sympathy, get well, thank you, thinking of you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. May you have a beautiful day!
Our family is gathering for a celebratory weekend in a magical place called Mohonk Mountain House. There is a covering of snow that is just beautiful. And it is c-o-l-d. All kinds of activities are offered: ice skating and archery, hiking (guided or unguided), a pool & sauna. As I said, it’s magical.
My card for today is one I made for a minister friend of ours, age 94. He has made such a positive impact on others, a really good man. The card base is Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. I added a layer embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder, 4 x 5 1/4 and set these aside.
On a Basic White panel I stamped the cross image with fronds in Garden Green ink using the Faith Collection stamp set. Then with the Faith Collection Dies and Country Woods 12×12 DSP, die cut the cross and adhered it to a plain cross then attached both with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Faith Collection stamp set in Highland heather ink and added two Tinsel Gems Three Pack in Fresh Freesia.
I adhered this panel to a Garden Green piece, then Highland Heather as well. I wrapped these with Natural Tones Linen Thread & tied a bow, adhering in place with a glue dot. I added dimensionals to the back and attached to the card base. :O)
For the inside… I pulled another stamp set called Courage & Faith and stamped the sentiment in Memento ink on a Basic White panel, then each of the leafy stamps too. I colored the leaves with Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends, adhered the panel to the inside and the card was complete.

Thanks for visiting with me today. I’ll try to post a picture or two tomorrow. May you have a beautiful day!
Greetings! It’s that time again for the infamous Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a theme challenge today… butterflies & bugs… and I have chosen the butterflies today :O) Let’s take a peek.
The basis for this card is the Memorable Blooms Dies – see that wonderful octagon – it has fabulous stitching around and a fun decorative trim impression on the card front – that doesn’t show in this photo at all! I used the Memorable Blooms Dies on a 4 x 5 1/4 panel of Basic White, then adhered the larger section to a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The octagon panel was adhered on dimensionals. Then I created this fun butterfly with the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. I die cut this lacy butterfly twice in Basic White, then one of them was heat embossed with the WOW! Gold embossing powder – twice.
To heat emboss, tap the VersaMark pad on the die cut butterfly, sprinkle it with embossing powder & heat set with the heat tool. Redo a second or third time as necessary for complete coverage.
I adhered the two die cut butterflies together with liquid glue then added the ‘body’ (also heat embossed with WOW! Gold embossing powder) the same way. these were attached with glue dots. The sentiment is stamped on a Basic Black scrap with VersaMark then sprinkled with White embossing powder and heat set then fussy cut with my paper snips. (The remainder of the sentiment is on the inside of the card.) I added three Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins in gold. I cut a length of Large Check Ribbon (Black & Very Vanilla), made a bow, then snipped each section to look like a double bow and added it to the butterfly with a glue dot.
I’ll be honest, my hubby doesn’t like the addition of the bow – said it detracts from the butterfly. But I love the extra touch. Would love to have your opinion!
For the inside… I adhered the remainder of the fussy cut sentiment to the Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel then stamped another butterfly from Beautiful Butterfly stamp set in Memento ink. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends Peach Pie and Azure Afternoon.
For the envelope… the same butterfly from Beautiful Butterfly stamp set stamped in Memento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Peach Pie & Azure Afternoon. Please note… I left this photo quite large in order for you to see the intricate stitching & design around the octagon :O)
