Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature Window Z Fold

Spotlight On Nature is SUCH a beautiful Bundle – all those incredible circle dies with sweet designs around. I’ve used two of them on this card.

Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature Window Z Fold

I used the Country Woods 12×12 DSP (4 x 5 1/4) for the layer on Crumb Cake card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 5 12). Because of the window die cut, when adhering the DSP, adhere only around the edges! I used Stampin’ Seal just to keep it simple for me. Next I die cut the window on the card front by placing the appropriate size die on the DSP with the card base open. I then die cut the outer rim circle in Balmy Blue. Remember I’m using Spotlight On Nature Dies. To create the rim takes two dies as the dies cut along the outside only. Just reserve those die cut pieces for a later use. Next I stamped the Spotlight On Nature floral image in Memento ink on a Basic White piece and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. Using my Color Coach as a guide, I used Balmy Blue and Shaded Spruce Blends, then splattered ink spots with the Balmy Blue then with Basic Black Marker. How to do this, gently flick the brush end of the blend against the cap, flicking toward the project. This can be a bit messy, so be certain other items are out of the way :O).

Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature Window Z Fold, inside
Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature Window Z Fold, inside folded

To create the z fold portion… cut a Basic White piece 8 1/2 x 5 1/4 and score on the long side at 4 & 6 1/4. Score to make the Z – valley, mountain. Stamp this as desired. Here I stamped the leaf image in Shaded Spruce ink making certain not to go above the card front opening. I stamped the Butterfly in Memento ink then colored it with Stampin’ Blends Peach Pie and Balmy Blue. On the far right side of the Z fold I added a strip of Subtles 6×6 DSP cut 2 x 5 1/4. I adhered this Z panel to the inside of the card. With the card closed and the Z folded, I placed the flower die cut in the circle, adhering it just to the Z panel. It should open and close without catching. As a final touch, I added three Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots in Balmy Blue. Love, love! I realized the area where I used Stampin’ Blends on the butterfly was showing through, so I added another panel of the Subtles 6×6 DSP in Balmy Blue cut 2 x 5 1/4 to that strip.

Stampin' Up! Z Fold

The envelope got more of the Country Woods 12×12 DSP adhered to the flap (2 1/4 x 6) and trimmed to fit. On the envelope front I stamped the floral image again from Spotlight On Nature in Memento ink. As you see, I only stamped the medium size flower & leaves, and colored them same as the circle die cut image: Stampin’ Blends Balmy Blue and Shaded Spruce.

Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature Window Z fold card & envelope

I imagine all kinds of possibilities with this Spotlight On Nature Bundle! It is a definite MUST HAVE!

Stampin’ Up! Spotlight on Nature Card

Oh my goodness – there are some really pretty bundles in the new 24-25 Annual Catalog. This one is extra special. For one thing, I think it’s the simplicity of the stamp set. The other of course are the many circle dies and the designs in them.

Last night was a wierd sleeping night for me – I got up at 12:30 AM cause sleep was avoiding me and stayed up until a bit after 2. That’s when I created this card.

Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature card front

I began by stamping the image from Spotlight On Nature in Memento Ink, then coloring it with Stampin’ Blends: Poppy Parade for the flower tops and Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green for the stems/ leaves. I die cut it with the die shown, from Spotlight On Nature Dies. For the background I pulled out the Brights 6×6 DSP Poppy Parade and trimmed it to 4 x 5 1/4, added it to a Basic Black 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 then directly to the Thick Basic White card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. I added a 1/2 x 4 strip of Basic White to the center of the card, then added the stamped die cut over that with dimensionals. For a bit of bling, there are three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE.

Stampin' Up! Spotlight on Nature card inside

For the inside of the card, I stamped this stunning leaf image from Spotlight on Nature in Memento ink on a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. I colored the leaves in Stampin’ Blends, using Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green. I love the contrast these colors give!

Stampin' Up! Spotlight On Nature card & envelope

For the envelope, more of the same Brights 6×6 DSP in Poppy Parade on the flap and trimmed to fit. The leaf image on the envelope front is the same one used on the inside of the card, stamped in Memento ink but not colored. It creates a stunning contrast.

I want to use the same stamps and coloring but use a Crumb Cake embossed background – lots of ideas spinning in my head this AM! This is a bit brighter than I would normally do – perhaps it was the middle of the night thing :O)

Stampin’ Up! Cap & Gown Graduation Card

Graduations can be so exciting and wonderful and a milestone. And l-o-n-g. Our grandson graduated from college on Thursday, cum laude no less. So proud of him. Of course there was a card …

Stampin' Up! Cap & Gown Graduation card front

I began with a panel of Basic White 3 3/8 x 4 3/4, Peach Pie ink and my Blending Brush, to create a background. Next I stamped the gown in Memento Black ink – from the Cap & Gown stamp set (ONLINE EXCLUSIVE). On scraps of Basic White I stamped the mortarboard and diploma, also in Memento black ink – and fussy cut these with my paper snips. I added these with trimmed down dimensionals. I added the panel to a Basic Black piece 3 1/2 x 4 7/8, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to the Thick Basic White card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. I die cut the number from Classic Letters Dies (ONLINE EXCLUSIVE) and adhered them directly to the card front. The sentiment is from Cap & Gown stamp set, stamped in Memento Black ink and die cut with the Unbounded Love Dies 24-25 Annual Catalog). I added a banner behind this in Peach Pie 1/2 x 3 creating banner ends with my paper snips. I attached this to the card front with liquid glue at the top and dimensionals at the bottom.

Stampin' Up! Cap & Gown Graduation card inside

For the inside, another panel of Basic White (4 x 5 1/4) colored lightly with the Blending Brush and Peach Pie ink – no ink added to the blending brush this time. The sentiment is stamped using the Cap & Gown stamp set & Memento Black ink. The letters are again die cut using the Classic Letters Dies. This panel was added to Basic Black then to the inside of the card base.

Stampin' Up! Cap & Gown, inside

Since we were sending a check to our beloved grandson, we wanted to be certain it remained secure and didn’t get ‘lost in the shuffle’ so to speak. I cut a panel 3 1/4 x 2 1/2, used a circle punch to create an opening, then drew freehand the squiggly lines and dots to make certain what was inside wasn’t missed. I added Tear ‘n Tape to three sides and attached it to the upper portion of the inside of the card. The folded check slid in nicely and was held securely in place :O)

Stampin' Up! Cap & Gown card & envelope

For the envelope… I stamped another image of the mortar board all over the flap and once on the lower right front corner – Memento ink of course. With concerns this might be opened by some scoundrel prior to it reaching him, we placed the card in a larger manilla envelope that wasn’t decorated at all.

Our grandson… the bearded one looking all serious … taken from our computer screen. This was a huge hall they were in for the graduation and tickets were sparingly given to the family – not enough for us to attend. But thank goodness we could watch it on livestream!!! 3 1/2 hours of livestream… but we saw him several times, listened to the valedictorian who gave an awesome speech, and all the other speeches as well. You know how that goes. We are proud grandparents :O)

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Fun Fold for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning! You KNOW what Thursday means, right? A blog hop by this awesome group. You may have come from the creative team member Tara or just hopped right in here – however you got here, welcome. We have a theme challenge of outdoors today – and I have chosen to work with the Thoughtful Wishes bundle and the Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP – and created a fun fold for you :O)

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes Bundle

Not sure what to call this fun fold, Center Pleat maybe – it was inspired by Susan Campfield who did a multi-pleat with 12 x 12 DSP. Thoughtful Journey DSP is 6×6 and I did not purchase the tutorial from Susan – just played around with this until it worked :O)

Begin with a card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 – this particular card is Boho Blue. For the card front, I wanted to use the new So Swirly dry embossing folder and ran a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic panel through it and adhered it to the card front. I stamped three images of the floral stamp from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set on Basic White – coloring the stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers to do so… Blackberry Bliss for the flower and Mossy Meadow for the stem/ leaves. I added these colors after each stamping. Because of the inside DSP I chose, I wanted these to look like a water color – soft and less defined images – so… I took my Water Painter, squeezed it until the brush was wet, then added just brush strokes of water on the flowers and then the leaves. I really like the effect it gave. I had tried spritzing the inked stamp but it didn’t give me what I was looking for, that’s why the water painter. Then I die cut the images with the coordinating Thoughtful Wishes Dies. I also stamped the leaf/weed image in Mossy Meadow ink and mov ed the ink on all the leaves with the water painter – die cut it with a coordinating die as well. I adhered the one flower image directly to the card front with liquid glue, attaching it at an angle to make it look as though it were being blown over by the swirling wind :O) I added trimmed down dimensionals to both the leaf image and the remaining flower image and added them as you see them. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and fussy cut it with my paper snips, adding dimensionals to it as well. I had an extra leaf and slipped it under the sentiment, attaching with a dab of adhesive. Finally – three Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to complete complete the card front.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Journey 6x6 DSPb & Center Pleat Fun Fold

The inside… this is so pretty – well, I think so anyway… the Thoughtful Journey DSP is just so, so pretty – with a definite watercolor appeal n- maybe as though it were raining outside and looking through a wet windowpane. :O) Anyway – this is the image I chose, cut 4 x 4 1/2, scored at 1 1/4, 2 1/4 and 3 1/4. Burnish as valley, mountain, valley. Adhere only the end portions of this folded piece, keeping the center fold in the middle. The two end panels are: Blackberry Bliss cut 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 and adhered with even margins on each side. The Basic White panels are 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 with the piece on the left run through the So Swirly dry embossing folder then adhered. Again, the remaining die cut flower was attached with liquid glue. The other panel is left plain for writing your message. The sentiment is stamped on a Basic White strip with Mossy meadow ink and adhered with Stampin’ Seal just on the left side. The card doesn’t really need it but I added it nonetheless.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Journey Center Pleat Fun Fold, looking down from the top

This is what the card looks like looking down from the top. It stands for display to show off that gorgeous inside.

The envelope got more of the Thoughtful Journey DSP attached to the flap and trimmed to fit. The front got this same leaves stamp in Mossy Meadow ink and the ink ‘moved around’ with a water painter. I love this look!

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Journey Center Pleat Fun Fold card & envelope

Stampin’ Up! Take To The Sky Suite for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

WELCOME TO AMY’S INKIN’ KREW TEAM BLOG HOP! We have a theme challenge for today – ‘for the boys/ men’ and we can interpret that any way we like. I chose to use the Take To The Sky Suite for the challenge.

Stampin' Up! Amy's Inkin' Krew Team Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky Birthday card front

The Take to T/he Sky 12×12 DSP is so perfect for the flyers in our lives or for anyone really. Here’s what I did for this card…

The card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Smoky Slate card stock scored at 4 1/4. I added the plaid pattern in Smoky Slate from the Take To The Sky 12×12 DSP cut 4 14 x 5 1/2. I then took a design from the Take to The Sky 12×12 cut 3 x 4 and added it to Cajun Craze card stock cut 3 1/8 x 4 1/8. This got dimensionals and was attached to the card front, centering it. I stamped an airplane in Blueberry Bushel ink from the Adventurous Sky stamp set on a Basic White scrap and die cut it with a coordinating die from Adventurous Sky Dies. I used a Cajun Craze Watercolor Pencil to add some color to the plane, then moved the color around with a Blender Pen. I added the plane with a couple of small dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White scrap with Night of Navy ink, cut it apart and adhered it to a 1/4″ strip of Basic White, cut the end, added trimmed dimensionals and attached it to the card front, making it look as though the plane were carrying a banner in the sky.. The final touch was three Industrial Trinkets attached with glue dots -and the card front was complete.

Stampin' Up! Take To The Sky DSP for the card inside

For the inside of the card… another panel of the Take To The Sky DSP 3 x 4 adhered to a Basic White 3 1/8 x 4 1/8 and attached with glue to the inside of the card. The sentiment was stamped in Boho Blue ink using a stamp from Adventurous Sky stamp set. This was die cut with a coordinating die from Adventurous Sky Dies and added with glue to the inside of the card. I offset it to make it look as though it too was being trailed behind the airplane.

Stampin' Up! Take to the Sky Birthday card & envelope

For the envelope, I stamped another size plane from the Adventurous Sky stamp set, this time in Night of Navy ink – to the envelope front. On the flap I attached a piece of Take To The Sky 12×12 DSP and trimmed it to fit. And done! YAY! I love this card and it is so perfect for a special someone.

Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Beauty Birthday Card

Good Monday morning! It is such a beautiful day here on the Jersey shore… although a cool 48 degrees. I have a showcase of DSP from the Unbounded Love 12×12 pack and I’m using it for a simple layout but gussied up birthday card.

Stampin' Up! Unbounded Beauty Birthday card front

Do you notice the simple layout? The gussied up part is the Bordered Ribbon in Pretty In Pink, the Paper Butterfly Accent and additional 24-26 In Color Shimmer Gems embellishments. Looking at this photo, I must make that bow smaller – it’s just too overpowering.

Measurements:

* Card Base is Thick Basic White 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2

* DSP layer is 4 1/4 x 5 12 adhered directly to the card front

* Layer – Berry Burst 3 1/8 x 4 1/8

* DSP layer is 3 x 4 adhered directly to Berry Burst , wrapped with ribbon, bow tied then added to card front with dimensionals

* The sentiment is from Unbounded Love stamp set and is stamped in Pretty In Pink ink on a Basic White piece 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 then diecut with the coordinating Unbounded Love Die and added to the card front with dimensionals

* Three 24-26 In Color Glimmer Gems were added to the sentiment panel – in Pretty In Pink

* The Paper Butterfly Accent was attached with tiny dabs of glue then two 24-26 In Color Glimmer Gems added

Stampin' Up! Flowers of Beauty card inside

For the inside of the card, on a 4 x 45 1/4 Basic White panel I stamped this lovely flower in a two-step manner. It comes from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set that is part of the Unbounded Beauty Suite of products. I stamped the flower outline in Pretty In Pink ink, then the flower filler in stamped off Petal Pink ink. The stamen is stamped in Berry Burst ink. I left the rest of the inside blank as this card is going to be signed by lots of folks.

Stampin' Up! Unbounded Beauty Birthday Card & Envelope

I followed the same process of stamping the flower on the envelope as I did on the inside of the card: flower outline is Pretty In Pink ink, flower filler is stamped off Petal Pink ink, stamen is Berry Burst ink – using stamps from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set. The flap is covered in more of the Unbounded Beauty 12×12 DSP that I used on the card front and trimmed to fit.

Stampin’ Up! Trusty Tools for a Graduation Card

Happy Mother’s Day all you readers… You may remember last weekend I attended a convention, a one of my fellow ‘conventioners’ asked for a special graduation card as the graduate is going into auto mechanics. I pulled out Trusty Tools to see what I could do. I also used a couple of other stamp sets.

Stampin' Up! Trusty Tools graduation card

This doesn’t look much like a graduation card, does it? At least not on the front. Here’s what I did though… I pulled out Boho Blue for the card base (school colors are blue and something else, the woman couldn’t remember) … and stamped the front with what looks like parts welded together, stamped in Smoky Slate. It comes from the new & fabulous Adventurous Sky stamp set. Next I die cut this center panel that looks like a peg board from new Textured Metallic Specialty 12×12 Paper. The color is Tungsten. From the Trusty Tools stamp set and coordinating dies, I pulled out items that I thought an auto mechanic would typically use – wrenches bolts, nuts and an oil can. I stamped in Memento ink the adjustable wrench, the other items I simply die cut. The oil can is from Silver Foil Sheets and cut twice, the other being Blueberry Bushel. I trimmed off the blue oil can top and adhered the blue bottom to the silver oil can – for contrast. I put this on dimensionals and added it to the peg board. The one wrench – the non adjustable one – is adhered directly with liquid glue, the adjustable one is on dimensionals. The screw & bolts are attached with glue as well. I added the peg board to the card front with mini dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Trusty Tools, card inside

I began the inside by cutting the toolbox bottom from Country Woods DSP. I adhered the base to the Basic White inside panel then attached the leftover hole centers from the peg board to the holes created by the toolbox bottom die cut. (Clever me!!) Using another piece of the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper in Tungsten, I die cut the handle and added it as well. Then it was – now what??? I pulled out Cap & Gown stamp set and stamped the cap in Memento ink & ‘Class of’ in Blueberry Bushel. I stamped the sentiment on the toolbox using the Trusty Toolbox stamp – again in Blueberry Bushel ink. The numbers (Boho Blue ink) & stars (Blueberry Bushel ink) come from Alphabest stamp set, a retired one. The gold hearts are from it’s coordinating dies.

Stampin' Up! Trusty Tools graduation, card back

Since there was noway to send a written greeting on the inside of the card, I added another piece of Basic White to the back of the card. On it is the sentiment stamped in Blueberry Bushel from the Cap & Gown stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Trusty Tools gradiation card & envelope

For the envelope, I did a simple stamp of the cap in Blueberry Bushel and the diploma in Memento black ink – both from the Cap & Gown stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Mediterranean Blooms DSP for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our weekly Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a sketch challenge this week and I used some new Mediterranean Blooms 12×12 DSP to show it off and the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Enjoy the hop as progress around to visit the other participants.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Blooms DSP, sketch challenge card front

For this DSP I paired Night of Navy for the card base and added a layer of Boho Blue card stock before adding the patterned paper. I used the Nestedf Essential Dies to create the the daisy-patterned banner. Behind it is another banner – in Basic White but die cut with the Stitched Shapes banner die. I actually cut two, trimmed the length of each, added them to the back of the daisy-patterned banner with glue then attached both to the card front with dimensionals. I used the largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut the Basic White circle. I used my Blender Brush and Daffodil Delight ink to add a bit of color to the circle. I die cut the layers for the daisy using the Cheerful Daisies Dies and separated them with paper snips. I added the layer to the daisy with dots of liquid glue, then after removing the leaves from the die cut I slipped it behind the daisy, adhering it to the circle. I added trimmed down to fit dimensionals to the back of the daisy – including many of the petals and added it to the circle. OOPS – forgot a step – I used the Blending Brush to add Daffodil Delight ink to the daisy center. Of course, embellishments are necessary :O) and I added three Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Blooms dSP, sketch challenge, card inside

For the inside, I wanted to play up the daisy, so added a background daffodil delight then the daisy, then added more color to that with the blending brush. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink with Citrus Blooms stamp set. This Basic White panel was added to a Boho Blue piece slightly larger, then to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Blooms DSP card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the daisy-lie paper from Mediterranean Blooms DSP for the flap and trimmed to fit. On the front at the bottom left, I stamped this ‘block’ image in Night of Navy ink to bring the colors all together. This is a different kind of cxard for me – and I like the end result. Would love to know what you think as well.

Stampin’ Up! Fun Fold w/ Adventurous Sky Bundle

Oh this is a truly fun fold… and it is easier than you think :O) It’s called a puzzle slider card and I saw this demonstrated by Susan Campfield. So here ya go with my creation…

Stampin' Up! Fun Fold w/ Adventurous Sky Bundle, card front

Do you love that airplane or what?! This card begins as a mini z fold card and then side pieces are added that make it a puzzle – clever, right? Here’s the view from the top.

Stampin' Up! Puzzle slider card, top view

The card base is Night of Navy cut 4 1/4 x 9 1/2 and scored @ 1, 2, 7 1/2 & 8 1/2. When I scored @ 1″ I did it just slightly LESS THAN 1″ (not even 15/16ths)- and on the 8 1/2 score, just slightly MORE THAN 8 1/2 ( not even 8 9/16ths). Crease these well – mountain, valley, valley, mountain. Then add your front panels:

  • * Cut 2 – 2 1/8 x 3 1/4 in Night of Navy
  • * Cut 2 – 2 1/8 x 2 1/4 in Night of Navy
  • * add DSP to these panels by first cutting DSP @ 5 x 3 3/4: this creates a continuous pattern for both top and lower panels :O)
    • – cut on short side @ 1 7/8 creating two panel s 1 7/8 x 5; cut top panel on long side @ 3″ ; cut lower panel on long side @ 2″.
    • My card front is not DSP – I created this image with the cloud stamps in Adventurous Sky stamp set and Boho Blue ink. I then used my Blending Brush and Boho Blue ink to add more depth to the panel – then I cut it as directed above.
    • I used the Adventurous Sky Dies to create the airplane: Cajun Craze card stock for the body, Smoky Slate card stock for the wings and Basic Black for the propellers. I adhered these together with dots of liquid glue and attached it to the left portion of the card front.
Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky Dies, back side of airplane

You can see in the photo above, the placement of the mini dimensionals so it would adhere only to the left side of the card front.

I wanted a sentiment and loved this particular one in the Adventurous Sky stamp set – stamped it in Cajun Craze ink and die cut it with the Everyday Detail Dies, adhered it in place with dimensionals. I added a single Industrial Trinket from this suite of products.

Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky card inside

For the inside, I adhered a panel of the Take To The Sky 12×12 DSP (4 x 5 14). For a sentiment I stamped this fun sentiment from Adventurous Sky stamp set in Boho Blue in and die cut it with the largest could die in the Adventurous Sky Dies. I adhered it in place and the card was complete.

For the envelope I added a panel of the Take To The Sky 12×12 DSP using a Cajun Craze pattern and stamped the smallest airplane image in the lower right – in Cajun Craze inkn – and forgot to photograph it for you!!! GRRR. You will have to use your imagination :O)

Stampin’ Up! NEW Country Flowers Sympathy Card

Tuesday May 7 – how time flies. The gardens are filling out, some flowers are in their glory and others are still awakening from their winter sleep. This is a glorious time of year – at least for me. It is disheartening to see others suffer so much with allergies though… Jumping from that thought right into my card for today…

Stampin' Up! Country Flowers Bundle Sympathy Card front

I love monochromatic cards, maybe you have noticed that. But now & then a monochromatic card needs something more – and this card was that, needing more. I started this card with wanting to show off the Designer Series Paper – Country Lace 12×12 DSP. Thick Basic White is the card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. I layered that with a Basic White panel run through the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it directly to the card base. I cut three Designer Series Panels 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 and adhered them to a Basic Beige (NEW COLOR) panel 4 1/4 x 3 3/4. I wrapped a Bordered Ribbon in Basic Beige around the panels and secured them in back, I added dimensionals to this and centered it on the card front. Color – it needed color… I pulled out Highland Heather card stock and stamped the tepot from the Country Flowers stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating Country Flowers Dies. I stamped the flower bouquet in Memento ink on a Basic White piece and colored it with stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow for the leaves, Petal Pink and Highland Heather for the flowers. I attached the teapot with dimensionasls, having it overhang the panels, then added the bouquet, also with dimensionals. For a sentiment, I used one from the Country Flowers stamp set, but it would not have to be a sympathy card is you wanted it for something else, as there others in the set.I pulled out Unbounded Love Dies and die cut the sentiment, put dimensionals on just the upper portion and placed it over the ribbon. As a final touch – Glossy Dots Assortment with a bit of shine filled my need – in Gorgeous Grape. Fine Shimmer Purple Gems could have worked as well.

Stampin' Up! Country Flowers Bundle Sympather Card inside

For the inside of the card… a panel of Basic Beige – subtle contrast to the white card base – and a panel of the Country Lace 12×12 DSP, stamped with a sentiment from the Country Flowers stamp set (Memento ink).

Stampin' Up! Country Flowers Bundle Sympathy Card & envelope

I kept the envelope super simple – a piece of the Country Lace 12×12 DSP 2 1/4 x 6 – adhered to the envelope flap and trimmed to fit.
