Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details Bundle In White

It’s rainy here today and should get to 51 degrees – spring IS in the air… I’m a latecomer to getting the Everyday Details bundle but I couldn’t resist the dies a moment longer. They arrived in the mail yesterday and I made this pretty card.

Stampin' Up! Everyday Detail Bundle in White

I paired the stamp set with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and several Stampin Blends to color the stamped image. What do you think? Here’s how to replicate.

* Run the top half of the Thick Basic White card base through the Basic 3D Embossing folder (Crosshatch)
* Stamp the image from the Everyday Details stamp set on Basic White card stock in Memento ink
- Color with Stampin Blends: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Light Shaded Spruce and Blueberry Bushel
* Die cut with the largest of the rectangle dies in Everyday Details Dies. This creates two cuts… the outer one that I adhered directly to the card front and the stamped panel as well. I did have to trim edges of the outer one to the size you see.
* Adhere the stamped image with dimensionals inside the outer ‘frame’
* add Brushed Basics Butterflies for a final touch

The inside..

For the inside of the card I used a stamp from Garden Meadow stamp set in Melon Mambo ink on the Basic White panel. This was adhered to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Everyday Details Bundle card & envelope

On the envelope… run the flap through the same Basics 3D embossing folder (Crosshatch) and stamp the cute grass and flower image in Granny Apple Green ink on the front. This image is from the Garden Meadow stamp set – and the card and envelope are ready to send. This card is specifically for a woman whose hubby has some health issues and she’s struggling to keep up with all the responsibilities. I should make a dozen of these and send to various folks. It seems lots of individuals are having a hard time these days :O(

Stampin’ Up! Lighter Than Air Suite Shaker Card

Hello folks! Here it is Wednesday already – where has the week gone? I apologize for being MIA… I’ve had trouble with a couple things and it’s been frustrating. Hopefully we’re back on track again. My card today is a shaker card made with the amazing Hot Air Balloon stamp set & coordinating dies and other products in this suite – but the stamp & dies are KEY! First of all, I love the Lighter Than Air 6×6 DSP – soft but colorful papers. Pool Party is soft, as is Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath – all colors in this particular DSP and ink I used on today’s card. Balmy Blue comes across a bit stronger but is still soft.

Don’t you love the stripes? Here’s what I’m not seeing though…, the stamped sentiment! Aargh! It just isn’t showing in the photo. Aargh again, because I pick up the card and it isn’t that visible there either. HOW DID I MISS THAT? Aaargh. Well, here we are. I’ll just have to die cut another piece and re-stamp it and adhere it over this one, maybe in Balmy Blue. Or maybe I need to re-ink my ink pad? I’m posting the card anyway, and may have to show it again later. The idea is super fun. I haven’t made a shaker card is forever, so there was a learning curve going on… re-teaching myself. :O)

The card base is Pool Party 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored on the long side at 4 1/4. I added the Basic White layer – 4 x 5 1/4 that is just a frame. Note that the color that shows through the hot air balloon die cut is the Pool Party card base. Next I die cut the hot air balloon top with the Hot Air Balloon Dies, turned it to the back side of the Lighter Than Air 6×6 DSP and added a piece of Window Sheet and adhered it in place over the opening. I then added a Foam Adhesive Strip around the die cut. I added more dimensionals on the back side of the DSP and set this aside. I used the die cut piece from the balloon die to note where the DSP panel would be added – and stamped a design for the balloon in Pool Party ink. Yep, I guess I really DO need to re-ink the ink pad! To the card base, I used a small condiment spoon to add some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to where the balloon die cut front panel will be attached to the card base, then turned the DSP over so it was face up and attached it to the Basic White panel/ card base. YAY! All was in place! And I set about decorating the front.

I die cut the basket for the balloon and the “strings'” that hold the basket to the balloon from Fresh Freesia card stock – both using the Hot Air Balloon Dies. They are so cool, you guys! But then, I proceeded to cover up the ‘strings’ with the sentiment banner. The sentiment banner is in two parts – at least on this card it is… The underlay I’m going to call it, and the overlay. :O) The overlay is the stamped sentiment in Pool Party ink that is too light to see in the photo. It says: Up, Up, And Away! HOORAY! IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY – and it’s been attached with dimensionals. I attached the basket with dabs of glue. I added two Balmy Blue Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots (part of the suite of products) on either side of the banner, then added a bow with a glue dot. The Balmy Blue bow is from the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack – which is also a part of the Suite.

For the inside… I stamped the balloon in Fresh Freesia ink, then the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink, and the basket in Bubble Bath ink. I left plenty of room for writing as I know where this card is headed. Have you ever been on a hot air balloon ride? I have – and it was fascinating. I could not believe how QUIET it was. We couldn’t hear traffic or even birds singing. Not hearing birds singing was a bit disconcerting to me. I hadn’t suspected it to be that silent.

The envelope… the flap has Lighter Than Air 6×6 DSP adhered and trimmed to fit. The envelope front has a partial sentiment from the Hot Air Balloon stamp set, stamped in Balmy Blue ink. I like this card but am disappointed I didn’t notice how light the stamping. Maybe it was the excitement of a ‘first time play” – who knows. I will play again, and re-ink a couple of ink pads before I play :O)

Stampin’ Up! Lifetime of Love Bundle

Hello to the weekend! Hope you have something fun planned. We’ve hads a week of pretty nasty weather – cold, windy, rain (like pouring rain). Today we were able to walk without getting drenched.

I pulled out another new product for today’s card – can’t believe I haven’t played with this bundle yet – Lifetime of Love Bundle. This set can be used for so many cards: anniversary, just because, valentines, wedding. I especially love the dies :O) And here’s just one of them.

I die cut the image from Delightful Floral 12×12 DSP – a Calypso Coral side, using the Lifetime of love Dies. I then colored the flower with a sponge dauber and Calypso Coral ink. Next I added more color to the leaves: Pretty Peacock then Parakeet Party, both with sponge daubers. I pulled Petal Pink card stock, ran it through the Softly Sophisticated 3D embossing folder (a FREE Product with a qualified order during Jan-Feb 2024 Sale-a-Bration), then tapped it lightly with the Whisper White ink pad. I laid the die cut image on the embossed panel to determine where the sentiment should be, then stamped that sentiment from Lifetime of Love stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I probably should have stamped it prior to the embossing, but didn’t. – shame on me. It still turned out well. I adhered the die cut piece with small dabs of liquid glue and added it to the card front. I cut a piece of Basic White slightly larger and adhered the two together, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to a Petal Pink card base. For a bit of flourish, I added three Iridescent Foil Gems from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog and a bow from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack in Petal Pink. This duo is in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

For the inside, I stamped the leaf from Lifetime of Love stamp set using Parakeet Party ink than a sponge dauber to bring in some Pretty Peacock. The sentiment is from Lifetime of Love stamp set and is stamp in Pretty Peacock ink. If you have never tried adding extra depth of color with a sponge dauber – DO! It can make a dramatic difference. Here I wanted a subtle effect of color on the leaf and like it a lot.

For the envelope… I ran just the flap of the envelope through the embossing folder by placing the the flap inside the embossing folder and folding the remainder of the envelope under the folder. You can see the direction is different, but that’s ok. For the front of the envelope, I stamped the floral image in Calypso Coral ink – and that was that.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Sweetness Suite Notebook Cover

Good Wednesday – midweek and I hope it’s going well. Our snow is almost gone but it is still quite cold out. We had a gloriously sunny day yesterday. Ok – doubt you need to hear all that – let’s see what we worked on…

Stampin' Up! Nature's Sweetness Suite Notebook Cover

This is a new suite of products for me – sort of first time playing – and I love this suite! It’s called Nature’s Sweetness Suite. This suite will make marvelous masculine cards, but also can be more feminine. I used the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog for a bit of inspiration – pages 40-43 and this notebook right at my fingertips. It was a bonus for attending OnStage@ Home convention this just fancied it up a bit. One of the things I like to do is use product on items I use at home all the time – like notebooks. They become less ordinary and inspire me in different way.s. I decorate Composition Notebooks all the time and give them away. Folks use them for journaling or note-taking and seem to enjoy a little special notebook. This one is for me :O) and I loved working with the stamps, dies, Fancy Leather Trim and the Adhesive-Backed Cork Dots. The Designer Series Paper – Nature’s Sweetness SDSP – is just gorgeous. What makes it special – patterns of gold on one side!!!

For this project I’m not going to give measurements as the notebook you use is probably going to be different. I used two of the Nature’s Sweetness SDSP for the front, then pulled out the stamps & dies from the two sets in the suite: Notes of Nature stamp set and Notes of Nature Dies + Lovely & Sweet stamp set and it’s coordinating Lovely & Sweet Dies. I also pulled out the Vellum Basic SDSP to do the long leaf die cut – Notes of Nature Bundle. It has such wonderful detail! I also die cut some leaves from Pebbled Path card stock – in keeping with the colors of the Nature’s Sweetness SDSP. I stamped the very front image using Pecan Pie ink – and the stamp & die from the Lovely & Sweet Bundle. Please note the tabs on the side of the notebook – so fun… they are die cut using a die from the Notes of Nature Dies! LOVE that I can do this too. The tabs were die cut from scraps of the Nature’s Sweetness SDSP. I backed each one with Basic White card stock for strength.

Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Birthday

Happy Happy 2024!!! Here we are in a new year. Did you make or are you in the process of making resolutions? I was talking with someone the other day and the topic was really about facing a topic and asking ourselves, ‘why are we afraid of it’ (whatever that is?)” And how, if we break it down, take it apart, it’s easier to face or do. First we name it, then ask the question, then break it down. The unknown can be so hard to face. Gosh, I got all philosophical… go figure… enuf of that. Let’s play with paper & create.

I began by stamping this beautiful rose bouquet in Basic Gray ink from Stippled Roses stamp set and coloring it with Stampin’ Blends: Light Calypso Coral, Light Sweet Sorbet and Old Olive for the leaves. I die cut it with the coordinating Stippled Roses Dies. Next decision was what background…. and I really like this Pebbled Path pattern in the Softly Stippled DSP. Now what else to do??? I got out my Vellum Basic SDSP and die cut several (well, three) leaves using the Stippled Roses Dies. The pattern doesn’t show so much, but the vellum leaves are attached to the back of the rose bouquet with Stampin’ Seal.. I added dimensionals and attached it to the Softly Stippled DSP panel. I wanted a bit of accent and Old Olive fit that need and all was adhered to the Pebbled Path card base. The sentiment is also from Stippled Roses and stamped on a Basic White strip with Pebbled Path ink. I trimmed ther ends, added mini dimensionals to the end and a bit of glue to the center area and attached it over the rose bouquet. I added three 2023-2025 In Color Dots in Pebbled Path.

For the inside, I stamped the single rose with leaves in Pebbled Path ink – also from the Stippled Roses stamp set – on the Basic White panel; adhered this to Old Olive card stock slightly larger and into the card base.

For the envelope – this same single rose with leaves was stamped on the envelope front and another piece of the Softly Stippled DSP was adhered to the flap and trimmed to fit. Done. I really likje the background on this card and how it softens the colors of the bouquet – and the vellum leaves too. Hope you like it as well.

Stampin’ Up! Meandering Meadows DSP with Frame

It’s Christmas Eve morning and excitement is in the air! Before I get too far into my post and the card of the day, let me say thank you to those who follow my blog, post comments, purchase from me, are on my team – all that. Stampin’ Up! has afforded me the opportunity to share my creativity in a whole new way and I so appreciate all of you for sharing in my journey. So, thank you.

Family arrives later today for several days and I will be taking a bit of a break while they are here. I want my focus to be on them and not running to my computer to check for messages concerning this paper crafting business. Yes, each of you is important but family is a priority while they are here – thank you for understanding.

I had this Meandering Meadows DSP on my desk still and couldn’t help but continue playing with it. This time I added this wonderful ‘frame’ that is part of the Garden Meadows Dies. It is die cut from Very Vanilla card stock and added to the DSP with dimensionals. The DSP is adhered to Melon Mambo card stock just slightly larger and that is attached to a Blueberry Bushel card base with dimensionals. I added three Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies buzzing around the flowers for a bit of ‘meadow feeling’.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink on a Very Vanilla panel, then the flowers at the bottom in Garden Green ink. This is a precious stamp! The Very Vanilla panel is added to another Melon Mambo piece just slightly larger then into the inside of the card base – and done!

On the envelope I adhered the remaining piece of the Meandering Meadows 6×6 piece, just turned it to the other side. Then stamped that same sweet flower bunch in Garden Green ink on the front.

Stampin’ Up! Meandering Meadows DSP Simple Card

Good morning! Today’s card is super simple – intentionally. I’m interested in making several of these to use as a quick notice of thinking of you, or concern, or birthday, or just a note, whether it be of appreciation or thanks or hello friend. I love the color contrasts in this DSP and for the simple layers. Behold… Meandering Meadows 6×6 DSP.

Stampin' Up! Meandering Meadows DSP, hello

Blueberry Bushel is one of the coordinating colors for this DSP and I used it for my card base (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2). I trimmed the Meandering Meadows DSP to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 and adhered it to Petal Pink just slightly larger. These two panels were added to the card base with dimensionals. As a final touch, three birds were added from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds. They show beautifully because they are brass!

For the inside… I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto a Basic White panel, and it comes from the Garden Meadow stamp set, then added a strip of the Meandering Meadows 6×6 DSP to the bottom (a continuation of the pattern from the card front). This was added to another panel of Petal Pink just slightly larger, then into the inside of the card.

The envelope flap got more of the same panel of Meandering Meadow DSP, just the other side of that 6×6 piece to create the card front! On the front of the envelope, I stamped the floral image in Basic Gray ink as it simulates the flowers in the scene on the card front. :O) Stampin’ Up! is really clever in the way they pair the DSP with stamp bundles – and actually, these are all a part of a suite of products in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES. Stampin’ Up! December Paper Pumpkin is a WOW!

Good morning! My December Paper Pumpkin arrived yesterday and with no outside obligations last night I set right to work to put it together. The cards are gorgeous… and spring-like. There’s even a clear box for them so they can be given as a gift :O)

These last two photos show the envelope front and the acetate box with all nine cards inside. Notice there is a wrap around (belly band) piece with a single flower attached. Stampin’ Up! really went all out with this months kit. I love everything about them – and they took such a short time putting them together. I felt no need to come up with alternatives either – these are so pretty. At least for me – they fit the bill perfectly!

This kit is appropriately called All The Best and makes nine gorgeous cards. I’m hoping to pick up a refill or two when they become available. If you would like to start a Paper Pumpkin subscription, you can do that here. There are various types of subscriptions and you can find that info here.

The subscription period for the January kit began 11 December. We’re very excited to share with you a sneak peek at the upcoming kits and their unique features. Remember that with each kit comes a stamp set and an ink spot. It’s a great way to start a collection.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine from OnStage@ Home

Good morning! It’s the ‘day after’ the OnStage@Home event… (now two days after – – – computer issues put a stymie on everything!) and there were several demonstrators from around the world providing tips, tricks and sharing some ideas on new products that will be offered in the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog. As demonstrators and those of us who attended the @Home event, we were able to order the Bee Mine Suite of products and make a card with card cuts provided by Stampin’ Up! I did that and today’s card is one we made. This is a fairly simple card, one that could work with new stampers.

This card uses Daffodil Delight as the card base, and a stamped layer added with dimensionals. The stamped layer uses the honeycomb stamp in the Bee My Valentine stamp set and Daffodil Delight ink. Also, stamp the sentiment in Memento ink from Bee My Valentine stamp set. Adhere the two panels of Bee Mine 12×12 DSP at an angle using Stampin’ Seal. Stamp the portions of the bee in Memento ink on Basic White scraps and punch out with the coordinating Bee Builder Punch. Adhere parts together with small dots of liquid glue and add to card front with dimensionals. I added the fun Pool Party heart from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers pack that is also part of the suite.

I added a strip of the plaid Bee Mine 12×12 DSP with Stampin’ Seal, then fussy cut this adorable bee holding a heart from the other side of this Bee Mine 12×12 DSP and adhered it in place with liquid glue – all on a Basic White panel.

And here’s the card & envelope. Remember, no naked envelopes! More of the Bee Mine 12×12 DSP on the flap and trimmed to fit. On the front… these cute hearts from Bee My Valentine stamp set, stamped in Pool Party ink all along the bottom. Very cute! Love this bee & it’s coordinating punch. There are at least three options for bee faces in this set.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk with Artistic Dies

Good Monday morning. Golly – where did the weekend go? It was glorious here on the Jersey Shore – even though we made a quick trip to PA. And it was glorious there too. My card today is a fairly new one called Garden Walk 6×6 DSP. It has an interesting mix of colors and I’ve paired it with Basic White on this card.

Stampin' Up! Garden Walk DSP & Artistic Dies.

This is a very feminine birthday card and I like it a lot. The Artistic Dies are the leaves die cut from Basic White. I’ve also incorporated the Scalloped Contour Dies. The layers are like this: Card base is Thick Basic White; on this is a narrow layer of Garden Walk DSP adhered directly to the card base; the Scalloped Contour Basic White panel with Pretty Peacock and Garden Walk DSP all attached to one another then added to the card front with dimensionals. The Artistic Dies leaves was attached near the bottom with a couple of dabs of liquid glue, a narrow strip of Pretty Peacock added over this, then the sentiment banner on dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped using the Artistically Inked stamp set, which coordinates with the Artistic Dies, with Poppy Parade ink. Two final touches… a sweet bow using the pink in the Ribbon Combo Pack and three Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Stampin' Up! Birthday card with Garden Walk 6x6 DSP

On the inside… I used Poppy Parade ink to stamp the flowers from the Artistically Inked stamp set. They look just like the flowers on this Designer Series Paper :O) I stamped the leaves in Garden Green ink from the Artistically Inked stamp set then the sentiment – also from this stamp set. The stems were my own addition, using the Garden Green Marker to draw them in. The Basic White panel was simply asdded to the inside of the card.

For the envelope, more of the same Garden Walk 6×6 DSP on the flap and the larger flower from Artistically Inked stamp set stamped in Poppy Parade ink on the front. And finis! My hubby particularly likes this card :O)
