Good Sunday morning. One of the Online Exclusive bundles/ Suites is the Season of Green & Gold Suite – perfect for Christmas/ holiday cards. I have used the papers in this suite to create a fun fold.
Can you see how it stands on it’s own? And it’s decorated on both sides of the card.
Here are the basics – just remember, any papers can be used to create this card and many different dies as well. I used the items from the Season of Green & Gold Suite: Season of Green SDSP, Graceful Greenery Vellum, Greetings of the Season Bundle and Golden Greenery Bundle. I also used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to create the circle on the card front with the Seasons of Green SDSP.
Card base and basics:
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored on the long side at 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 6 & 7 1/4
Designer Series Papers for the folds are all cut 1 x 5 1/4. Cut 8
Center panels are 3 1/2 x 5 1/4
For the die cuts on the card front, I used Very Vanilla, Distressed Gold SDSP and Graceful Greenery Vellum and the Golden Greenery Dies. For the sentiment panels on front and back I used the Greetings of the Season Bundle, Old Olive ink, Cherry Cobbler ink, more of the Distressed Gold SDSP, Very Vanilla and Season of Green and Gold SDSP. The embellishments are not from this suite, but are Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems. And the Linen Thread bow is a double bow adhered with a glue dot.

And the card & envelope
For the envelope, more of the Season of Green & Gold SDSP on the flap trimmed to fit – and on the front, this beautiful pine bow frond stamped in Old Olive ink: the inner is full strength and the main is second generation stamped.
Sympathy cards are always difficult. We often know the person well – or the family and we get emotional when making them. It can also be a form of remembrance and fond memories allowing us to feel connected differently. This is one such card.
For today’s card I have taken a leftover piece of Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP and cut it down to 3 x 4. I attached it with Stampin’ Seal to the Painted Texture 3D embossed panel of Basic White cut 4 x 5 1/4. This was added with dimensionals to a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. With the Friends For Life Dies and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (1 3/4 x 4), I die cut the beautiful leaf, trimmed it into two sections and adhered the longer section to the card front with small dots of liquid glue. In cut a strip of Calypso Coral 1/2 x 5 and adhered it in place, grounding the DSP scene. I added a 1/4 x 4 3/4 strip of Mossy Meadow. The sentiment strip is 3/4 x 3 3/4 stamped in Early espresso ink – using the Everyday Greetings stamp set. I adhered this with dimensionals and added the remainder of the leaf die cut from the Friends For Life Dies. To enhance the gold, I attached three Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins in gold.
I die cut that same leaf pattern with the Friends for Life Dies and Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP. This was adhered to a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 panel. Another 1/4 x 5 1/4 strip of Mossy Meadow was added to the bottom – and the card was complete.
For the envelope, another piece of the Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP was added to the flap & trimmed to fit. I stamped the leaf from Friends for Life stamp set first in full strength Mossy Meadow ink, then stamped again without re-inking. I think it might have looked better with the single leaf, but it was done. I’m hoping the recipient will find the card hopeful and peaceful and comforting.

Hello , hello – it’s Thursday and time for another fun hop with the Inkin’ Krew! We have a theme challenge today – Critters – and I chose to use the Fluffiest Friends Bundle and coordinated it with the Friends for Life Bundle to make this cute shaker card.
The DSP is from the 24-26 In Color 6×6 pack of papers and the color is Pretty In Pink. I cut it 4 x 5 1/4, then die cut this sweet heart shape using the Friends for Life Dies. While I had those at my fingertips, I also die cut the word ‘friend’ in Basic White and a background in Pretty in Pink. I adhered these two word ‘frames’ together and set them aside. I turned the DSP over, ran a Stampin’ Seal along the edges and teeny tiny dots of liquid glue to areas of the center of the heart, then laid a window sheet on top (3 3/4 x 5) – adhering these together. Using the Foam Adhesive Strips, I created a boarder around the heart, then also around the edge of the DSP, placed several of the pink Loose Frosted Dots in the center of the heart area, peeled the backing off the adhesive strips and attached a Basic White panel, creating the background to the shaker card. :O) Next I stamped this adorable fluffy rabbit from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set: Memento ink on a Basic White scrap about 2×2 and colored it with Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate, Light Pretty in Pink, Light Real Red for the cherry and Light Crumb Cake for the cupcake wrapper – and die cut it using the coordinating Fluffiest Friends Dies. I adhered it in place with dimensionals. I also added Wink of Stella to the cupcake icing. I attached the word friend with liquid glue. As a final touch for the front, I added three 24-26 In Color Shimmer Gems – in Pretty in Pink of course. I added this completed front panel to a Thick Basic White card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
That thin piece of die cut heart from the front is a very narrow strip, but I added teeny tiny dabs of liquid glue to it and attached it to the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Pretty In Pink ink using the Friends for Life stamp set. I stamped another adorable ‘fluffy’ – a cat from Fluffiest Friends stamp set – in Memento ink on another Basic White scrap about 2 1/2 x 2 3/4. I did very little coloring on it: Stampin’ Blends Light Pretty in Pink for the ears, nose and flower and Crumb Cake on the flower pot., Light Old Olive for the leaf. I added a single yellow Loose Frosted Dot to the center of the flower. This was die cut with the coordinating Fluffiest Friends Die and added in place with liquid glue.
For the envelope, another piece of the same 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP adhered to the flap and trimmed to fit. On the envelope front… another adorable beast, this time colored with Stampin’ Blends Crumb Cake and Pretty In Pink. The balloon was also colored with Light Pretty in Pink and I added Wink of Stella to that as well. It gives a nice sparkle to the balloon!

It’s Thursday – and what that means is a HAPPY INKIN’ THURSDAY BLOG HOP! WooHoo! And… it’s a color challenge – which is always fun. I chose to nuse the fabulous Unbounded Beauty DSP to show it off in a first class way.
This is one of those ‘ideas’ to save to use for just about any DSP. Notice how the DSP image goes across the page, so when it was cut, it was intentional to cut it so the image ‘flowed across’. I does depend how the card is opened. If it opend from the top, the DSP ‘image’ would be from top/ down. got it?
Basics:
Card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 (opens from side) [Summer Splash]
Layer: 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 [Pretty in Pink]
DSP layer: 3 1/2 x 3 3/4 cut into thirds so 1 1/4 x 3 1/2 [Unbounded Beauty DSP]
Instructions:
Add DSP to layer, wrap with ribbon & secure w/ glue dot at knot
Add this to card front w/ dimensionals
Create die cuts and slip under ribbon, adhering w/ liquid glue (die cuts are from Flowers of Beauty Dies & cut from Summer Splash and Berry Burst card stocks)
Stamp sentiment (Berry Burst ink using Unbounded Love stamp set); die cut (Unbounded Love Dies) and add with glue dot or dimensionals, depending on ribbon

Hello Thursday! And that means another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We have a sketch challenge today and I’ve chosen to work with the Wildflower Designs stamp set, the Labeled with Love Punch and Full of Life 6×6 DSP to create my card.
I began by punching these fun shapes using the Labeled with Love Punch and Basic White card stock. I used scraps but you could cut two pieces 2 1/2 x 4 1/2. I stamped these with two different flower designs – in Memento ink using Wildflower Designs stamp set. I colored these with Stampin’ Blends In Colors: Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock. I then used the Summer Splash ink and the splotch stamp in the same Wildflower Designs stamp set, stamped it off once and then on the flower. I varied the placement of the stamping so it didn’t look too uniform. With the stamping and coloring completed, I cut a Full of Life 6×6 DSP 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, added two strips of Pretty in Pink card stock 1 x 4 1/8 with stampin’ Seal, then added the stamped flowers with dimensionals. I like to place my center panels first, then use equal spacing for the rest. I wrapped Black Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around the card three times and tied a bow, securing it with a glue dot. I put dimesnionals on the DSP and adhered it to a Petunia Pop card base – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. My final touch for the card front was adding Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins in two colors.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink using the Wildflower Designs stamp set. I added a 1/2 x 4 strip of the same DSP as the card front. I also had a length of the Black Baker’s Twine that I tied in a bow and added as an enhancement. This panel was adhered in place and the card was complete.
For the envelope – a bit of another panel of Full of Life 6×6 DSP on the flap adhered in place and trimmed to fit. I stamped another of the pretty flowers from Wildflower Designs stamp set on the DSP and yet another flower on the envelope front – both in Memento ink. Again, I used the splotch stamp and Summer Splash ink to stamp over the flower in second generation ink. This is such a happy card – and I know to whom I’ll send it!

Good morning! It’s been hot & steamy this week and yesterday buckets of rain with more due today – all remnants of Hurricane Beryl. So what to do – make a card that reminds us of cool :O) The iconic Imagery bundle has several themes: leaves (fall), snowflakes (winter), stars & hearts & candles, and various sentiments – grateful (Thanksgiving), celebrate (birthday or anniversary or special holiday (Christmas, New Years). And the dies include several banner dies, snowflake, leaves, stars, hearts & trees.
I’ve used one of the Cherry Cobbler papers in the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 DSP pack to create a background for the gorgeous banner die that I used for the word ‘celebrate’ – all from this suite of products.
The card base is Mossy Meadow 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 with the fold at the top. I cut a Basic White panel and layered it with the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 DSP and adhered this to the card front with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the Iconic Imagery stamp set and stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and die cut with Iconic Imagery Dies. I cut a 3/4″ strip of Mossy Meadow and adhered that directly to the banner, added dimensionals and adhered this in place. From one of the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 DSP papers, I die cut several of these cute trees – yep, directly from the DSP! I added a mini dimensional on the back near the top of the tree and liquid glue at the bottom of the tree and added this to the banner and card front. I colored a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends and set it aside to dry while adding Pecan Pie & Clear Ribbon Adhesive-Backed Dots to the banner (from the suite!). With the Rhinestone dry, I added it to the top of the tree. I cut three short lengths of White 3/8″ Frayed Grosgrain ribbon, trimmed the ends as you see them and tucked them in behind the banner and beside the tree, then also in the lower left corner adhering in place with glue dots. With Linen Thread I tied three bows and pushed them under the banner, adhering them in place with a glue dot. What’s kinda fun – I used every product from this suite for this card :O) Finis for the front!
Remember those extra trees I die cut from the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 DSP? Here are three more, adhered directly to a Basic White panel for the inside of the card. :O)
And here’s the last tree I die cut – on the envelope front! And the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 DSP from which I die cut the tree – a piece adhered to the flap, pulling the whole card together. This would be a card that could be used for a birthday during the winter holidays – or for a Christmas card – just add an appropriate sentiment. And – it could be a masculine card.

Today we have a theme challenge titled ‘birds’ and I have chosen to use the Charming Duck Pond bundle & it’s coordinating Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP – and made another front flap fun fold :O) For my birds – I chose to use these sweet ducks.
Oh my goodness – such a cute array of stamps and dies in this bundle. I especially like the dies! So let me explain how I did this card.
The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in Pretty Peacock. I layered it with a panel of 4 x 5 1/4 Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP. I cut another piece of Pretty Peacock card stock 3 x 8 1/2 and scored it at 4 1/4. This was adhered to the card base front with the fold at the top and centered – this is the front flap fold. I decorated this first with another piece of Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP in the same pattern as the card front, cut 2 3/4 x 4 and adhered it in place. From a Basic White panel 4 x 3 3/4 I centered this stunning circle die that cuts & embosses the fun design. It has cattails and reeds and lily pads – perhaps you can see the embossing on the cattails from this die. I created another die cut with Granny Apple Green card stock 1 x 3 for additional lily pads – and a scrap of Pretty Peacock for one more lily pad – and a flower in Pretty in Pink card stock. I layered these in place with liquid glue. The additional reed and cattails were die cut from another piece of the Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP and adhered these also with liquid glue. I took yet another piece to showcase these adorable ducks & cut this 3 7/8 x 3 5/8 and adhered it to the back of the Basic White die cut. These I added to another piece of Pretty Peacock cut 4 1/8 x 3 7/8 and adhered this to the front flap. For a sentiment… I used the Labeled with Love Punch and Pretty Peacock to create the sentiment banner. I cleaned the piece with the embossing buddy then stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink, then sprinkled with embossing powder over it and heat set with the heat tool. I punched another banner from basic White and adhered it to the back, trimmed the one end so as not to cover mamma duck and adhered it in place with liquid glue. As a final touch I added three Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins and the card front was complete.
For the inside I took a piece of basic White 2 3/4 x 4 and added a strip of Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP, then attached this to the inside of the flap. Done!
The envelope back has a piece of Lily Pond Lane 6×6 DSP adhered & trimmed to fit. The envelope front is stamped with two images from Charming Duck Pond stamp set in Memento ink, then colored with other stamps in the set: the duck… beak & feet with Pretty in Pink ink, body in Gray Granite ink, tail feathers in Pretty Peacock ink; the frog… body in Granny Apple Green ink and the lily pad in Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. What a fun set! Hope you enjoy this card.

We have a fun fold challenge for this Tuesday team blog hop and I’m using several of the new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE products from the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection. Let’s take a peek.
This card is called a Front Flap Fun Fold.n I did a bit of die cutting using the Golden Greenery Dies and Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper (better known as SDSP) and the Graceful Greenery Vellum. The bells are die cut from the SDSP and the wonderful fronds from the vellum.
Card instructions:
Card base is Mossy Meadow 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Layer a panel of SDSP (here I used the Season of Green & Gold SDSP, plaid pattern), attaching with adhesive.
Cut a 3 x 8 1/2 Mossy Meadow piece and score at 4 1/4: attach to center of card, with fold at top of card base.
Cut 2 panels of Basic White 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 & decorate
Front panel of Basic White
I cut two Garden Green fronds and one Old Olive frond from the Graceful Greenery Vellum and adhered to one of the Basic White panels, centering them at top
I die cut the single bells from the Season of Green & Gold SDSP, adhered them together then added them over the fronds with dimensionals
I added a double Linen Thread bow to the top of the bells with a glue dot.
Stamp the sentiment and ampersand sign in Cherry Cobbler ink using the Greetings of the Season stamp set (this also comes as a bundle – with dies – but I did not use those for this card)
Embellish with several Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems
Adhere this panel to the folded Mossy Meadow
Inside panel of Basic White
Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink using the Greetings of the Season stamp set
Stamp the fronds detail stamp in stamped off once Mossy Meadow ink
Stamp the fronds full stamp in stamped off twice Mossy Meadow ink
Add panel to inside of flap card panel – and done!
Now for the envelope… cover the flap in a piece of the Season of Green & Gold SDSP and trim to fit. On the envelope front, stamp a different detail front in stamped off once Old Olive ink. Stamp the full frond in stamped off twice Old Olive ink – and this card is ready for that Christmas card pile.

Hello folks. It’s really, really hot here in New Jersey. I’ve chosen a card today that will remind me of cooler weather (hope, hope). It’s the Changing Leaves bundle in the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES of Stampin’ Up! I’ve used Granny Apple Green and a Blending Brush to create some variation to the card.
First thing I did was run a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock through the Changing Leaves Hybrid 3D Embossing Folder with the large die in place. This embosses the image & die cuts at the same time. After removing the die cuts, I trimmed along one side, creating a ‘edge’ of leaves that I cut with my paper snips. I used the Granny Apple Green ink and Blending Brush to add color to some of the edges of the leaves. I then turned it over and laid it on a Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4 and added color to the Basic White – both along the edge of the paper snip trimmed leaves and along the edges of the paper. I turned this back right side up, placed it again on the same Basic White panel and with a lighter touch of the Blending Brush, added more Granny Apple Green. This kind of color layering creates shadow-like effects that show depth.
Next step was to stamp the lovely leaf stamp in Granny Apple Green ink – first time full strength, then stamp again without re-inking, and do the same one more time.. That last one is really hard to see, but it’s in the upper right corner.
I added a strip of Brights 6×6 DSP in Granny Apple Green to the portion of the Granny Apple Green card stock that was not in the embossing folder,, put this whole piece on dimensionals and added it to the stamped and colored Basic White piece. This was added to a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2 x 5 12 scored at 4 1/4. Because I had in mind using this for a sympathy card, I pulled out Sketched Butterflies stamp set for the sentiment – Thinking of You – and stamped it in Memento Ink. I die cut this with the circle die from Changing Leaves Dies. I used Seal+ to adhere the ribbon on the back of the circle, then added dimensionals and attached it to the card front. The Ribbon is Black & Very Vanilla Ribbon. I toyed with adding embellishments but didn’t really like anything.
With the card front complete I cut a remainder strip of the embossed Granny Apple Green piece (from the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder) and added it to a 4 x 5n12 Basic White piece. I die cut another leaf in Basic White and adhered it with liquid glue. This leaf is a die cut from Changing Leaves Dies.
For the envelope… more Brights 6×6 DSP for the flap, trimmed to fit, and a stamped off once leaf for the card front – of course from the Changing Leaves stamp set and Granny Apple Green ink.

We have a fun sketch challenge today and I’m sharing a sneak peek of new DSP that’s part of the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES and a suite of products: Season of Green & Gold 12×12 SDSP, Greetings of the Season stamp set (it’s a bundle really, but I only used the stamp set), and Golden Greenery stamp set (also a bundle but only used the stamp set for this card.)
This DSP is gorgeous – and I used the Basic Borders Dies for the fun accent trim. The final touch was adding Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots. To create this card…the card base is Garden Green card stock cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. I added a piece of the Season of Green & Gold SDSP cut 4 x 5 1/4 and adhered directly to the card base. I turned this same SDSP over to the other side and cut a piece 2 1/2 x 3, then trimmed it at an angle. I adhered only the far left corner to the card front. With the Basic Border dies and a strip of Old Olive 3/4 x 5, I cut a trim piece, then adhered that to a piece of Very Vanilla 1 x 5, then slipped it under the corner piece, adhering it in place. After all was adhered in place, I trimmed the overlapping Basic Border trims. I then added three embellishments in Pecan Pie from the Pecan Pie and Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots.
For the inside, I cut a Very Vanilla panel 4 x 5 1/4 and stamped it in Garden Green ink with the Greetings of the Season sentiment stamp. I added a strip of Basic Border die cut in Garden Green to coordinate with the card front.
For the envelope, I added a piece of the Season of Green & Gold 12×12 SDSP to the envelope flap then stamped the front of the envelope using the Golden Greenery stamp set and the pine bough stamp – first in Old Olive ink, then the detail pine bough in Mossy Meadow ink. And WooHoo, first holiday card!
Now, just have to say… I had unfinished elements of a card on my desk (anyone else have that?) and decided to use the pieces to follow the sketch. This card uses some retired SU! products but also uses a current bundle called Stippled Roses. The roses were stamped in Smoky Slate ink and colored with Blending Brushes and several inks: Pretty in Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive. After coloring I used Wink of Stella to add glam to all the dark lines of the design. The leaf die cuts are from Old Olive card stock. The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins – another ONLINE EXCLUSIVE. The card base is Thick Basic White. The additional layers are Smoky Slate and a retired free DSP the name of which I do not remember. On the inside of the card is stamped the gorgeous leaves from Stippled Roses stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. I will add shopping information for this card as well, but separately. My main purpose is to share how using a sketch can bring a different level of creativity depending on the stamps/ dies/ and other elements used. Hope you enjoyed this bit of ‘extra’.
