Stampin’ Up! Pillow Box Dies

Good day to you… it’s Thursday and I host a card class today. It’s always fun – no matter what we make. And no, I can’t tell you what we’re doing just yet, maybe tomorrow I can share photos. :O) Is that mean? Well, a tease maybe… Today I want to share the Pillow Box Dies with you – so stinking cute!

Are these adorable? They are only about 3″ in length, so they won’t fit much… maybe a pair of diamond earrings? No, I’m NOT hinting. Of course it would fit a few Hershey’s Kisses 😘 The die has score lines for the folds and everything – and the left photo shows the box fancy decorated using other dies in the set. (The flower dies come with it!!!) The box on the left is regular card stock – Mossy Meadow as a matter of fact, and crimping the curvy score lines on the ends was a bit tricky as the paper is thick and a bit stiff for this. I used ribbon from the Playful Pets Ribbon Trim Pack, die cut some of the flowers and attached them to the end of the ribbon with a glue dot. But the box on the right went together like a dream – and that tag die is part of the set as well :O). The DSP for this one is In The Wild. I wrapped Linen thread around it twice and tied a bow; die cut the tag, stamped it, and tied it to the thread with some White Baker’s Twine that I separated. Easy Peasy💕. These would be really fun at place settings for a dinner party – with names on the tags… or as stocking stuffers. How would you use these cuties? The information regarding these products is listed at the bottom of this post.

OK, now I’m going to change the subject… Sale-a-bration ends Sep 30 and NOW is the time to join up as a demonstrator. The deal is way too good to pass up. Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Set of Cards

Hi Folks… to follow up yesterday… there was practically no wind at all, so no sailing for us. In lieu of that I made cards! 😏 I used primarily the Nature’s Harvest bundle (includes the Harvest Dies) and Scalloped Contours Dies + Pattern Party DSP (available with a $300 order!). Of course, I used a few other products… so here we go…

Here I used the largest of the Contour Dies and the Pattern Party DSP. I then die cut with Cork and the Gold & Rose Gold 6×6 SDSP using the Harvest Dies. This is stunning SDSP!!! Additionally, Simply Elegant Trim in gold and Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Gems. The sentiment is from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set stamped with Early Espresso ink and die cut with a label die from the Harvest Dies. For the inside I stamped the wonderful floral bunch with Early Espresso ink.

For card 2 I used the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies and Early Espresso card stock. The next layer is Pattern Party DSP die cut with the 3rd largest die in Scalloped Contour Dies. I then stamped this floral bouquet from Nature’s Harvest stamp set with Early espresso ink. I added three Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Gems, adhered everything to a Very Vanilla card base and the card was done.

While the floral bouquet was still damp from the Early Espresso ink, I lightly spritzed it with water, then stamped it on a Very vanilla panel, the stamped again without re-inking. The Very Vanilla panel was adhered to the inside & voila!

OK – card 3… Scalloped Contour Dies (largest) and Crushed Curry card stock die cut; third largest Scalloped Contour Dies & Pattern Party DSP die cut; layer in between a panel of Very Vanilla card stock for contrast. Die cut this floral bouquet from Very Vanilla card stock and with a sponge dauber add color… Crushed Curry for the flowers & Pear Pizzazz for the leaf & stems. Adhere with liquid glue. Tie a bow with two strands: Linen Thread & Simply Elegant Trim in gold, adhere with a glue dot. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and Nature’s Harvest stamp set. Die cut with the label from the Harvest Dies – attach with dimensionals. Add three Metallic Pearls in gold.

For the inside, first I stamped the floral bouquet with Early Espresso ink (Nature’s Harvest stamp set) I then added the saved border of the die cut from the front and attached it to the inside of the card. Done!

Card 4 uses Cork Paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog… love this paper! I adhered it to Early Espresso card stock then to a Very Vanilla card base. I added a die cut from the Harvest Dies and colored it with sponge daubers: Crushed Curry ink, Early Espresso ink and Pear Pizzazz ink. This was added with dabs of liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment in Early espresso ink from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. (I used my stamparatus 🙂 I added a linen bow with a glue dot and the front was done.

For the inside, I had saved the border of the Early espresso die cut from card 2 and adhered it to a Very Vanilla panel. I then stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I added this smaller bouquet from the Nature’s Harvest stamp swet, again in Early Espresso ink.

Artistic Dies/ Pattern Party DSP card 5. 9

Card 5 – I was beginning to need a change but wanted to use the last of this sheet of Pattern Party DSP. Therefore with that adhered to a Basic White card base, I die cut from Basic White this gorgeous large floral Artistic Die. I adhered it with dots of liquid glue. I then cut a strip of the Fine Art Ribbon and added it to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I die cut the sentiment with a Harvest die, put dimensionals on the back and attached it over the ribbon. Lastly I added three Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

For the envelope I embossed a Basic White panel with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and added it to the flap, trimmed to fit. Voila! Five cards prepared to send…most can easily be used for sympathy or thinking of you while two of the cards are specific. These card are not layered too much with dimensionals. I like layers in general and using dimensionals add dimension. BUT, since I’m sending these for an order, I didn’t want them to require extra postage. I think all of these will work with regular postage.I was pretty determined to get these done today and DID – yay! Hope you like…

Stampin’ Up! Bridge Fold Card in Whimsy

Good Monday morning to you… a full week is ahead of us. Got anything wonderful planned? I can tell you we are going sailing this morning, IF (and that’s big if) there is enough wind. And then I need to make a bunch of cards for our daughter – who requested sympathy and thinking of you type cards. But for now, let’s focus on this fun fold. It’s quite easy. A stand-up card by itself.

Bridge Fold Card in Whimsy.1

Oh my, this is a dark photo… later is a better one. I used Whimsical Trees with coordinating Christmas Trees Dies and the Whimsy & Wonder SDSP & the Seasonal Labels Dies for the sentiment. I did use Silver Foil for the tree and stars. Let’s get a better picture…

Bridge Fold Card in Whimsy.2

This is better – and it’s lying on it’s back. Let’s begin with the tree, shall we? I die cut the tree from Silver Foil and kept all the inner pieces. I then die cut the solid tree from Basic White card stock + an extension of the bottom of the tree about 1/2″. I happen to really like both trees and no, I don’t think they are supposed to go together. But I happen to like the way they layer. All the little pieces that are from the silver foil tree, I attached with dots of liquid glue, intentionally overlaying them so they appear like another layer of snow or tree. I attached the foil tree to the Basic White tree, again with dots of liquid glue, then added the tree extension behind. I die cut this tree from the foil panel that is layered with the packages ~ see photo :O) I also die cut several stars (the die cuts 5 at once) ~ all of the die cuts use the Christmas Trees Dies.

Bridge Fold Card in Whimsy.3

The next important step is preparing the papers… you don’t have to do the double layers of papers. I just happen to like the way it looks. Finished card size fits nicely in an A2 envelope… 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 when it folds flat.

TIP: When cutting the SDSP, it is best to make certain the “picture” of the papers flow from left to right AND that if there is a definitive up & down, that you keep that going in the proper direction. It doesn’t show so much with this Designer Paper, but with some it is very obvious. And when the card is flat, the direction of the papers definitely are apparent.

  • Card base is 4 1/4 x 8 scored at 1 1/4x 2 1/2, 5 1/2 & 6 3/4; 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 (bridge panel). I used Misty Moonlight
  • Silver Foil layers: 1 1/8 x 4 1/8 (4); 2 7/8 x 4 1/8 (center panel); 1 1/8 x 5 3/8 (bridge panel); 2 x 4 for tree / stars
  • Whimsy & Wonder SDSP: 1 x 4 (4); 2 3/4 x 4 (center panel is coordinating); 1 x 5 1/4 (bridge panel)

Burnish all score lines and fold mountain, valley, valley, mountain. In other words, both the 1 1/4 & 6 3/4 folds should be mountain folds. Refer to the photo.

Attach all layers together as shown. I used Stampin’ Seal for this step, but liquid glue does give more adjustment leeway. Make sure all SDSP is facing the proper direction! For the bridge panel… once the layers are together, adhere the bridge to the far right panel of the card base. It is easiest to do this if the right panel is folded and the rest of the card flat. Now fold the card the opposite direction, so the far left of the card is folded and the right side of the card is flat – adhere the bridge to the left front panel. YAY!

Now decorate…

  • Adhere the tree with liquid glue to the bridge & the tree top to the right front fold.
  • Add 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to the tree in Polished Pink
  • Add the foil die cut stars with dots of liquid glue
  • Add 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to the inside panel (packages) in Polished Pink
  • Stamp the sentiment in Polished Pink ink using the Whimsical Trees stamp set. Die cut with the Season Labels Dies. Attach with dimensionals. Add 2021-2023 In Color Jewels in Fresh Freesia.
Bridge Fold Card, backside.4

  • Stamp sentiment in Polished Pink ink on a Basic White panel 2 7/8 x 4 1/8 with Whimsical Trees stamp set.
  • Attach to backside of card and the card is done!
Bridge Fold Card in Whimsy.5

For the envelope… cover the flap in Whimsy & Wonder SDSP, trim to fit. Stamp the cute ornaments from Whimsical Trees stamp set in Moonlight Madness. Color with Markers: Soft Succulent, Polished Pink & Blushing Bride.

Love this fun fold!!! I has been a while since I have done this and I had a good time. So easy and looks great as a stand alone card.

Stampin’ Up! Pink & Green Whimsy

Hello fellow stampers. It’s cool morning this morning here in New Jersey. This time of year it’s hard to know what to expect. I hope you have some crafting time scheduled in your day ‘cuz I have a cute card for you. It uses the Whimsical Trees stamp set and Christmas Trees Dies, a bundle. I’ve also used a Blending Brush to create the background and done a bit of splattering as well. Let’s take a look.

Pink & Green Whimsy.1

Gosh – this photo makes the card look pink all over!!! It isn’t…

This is a notecard size card – so 3 1/2 x 5. Let me give you some detail… With a Blending Brush add a bit of Blushing Bride to the card. I created sort of an oval. I then used one of the water painters and splattered a few drops of water in the colored area. The way to do this is to flick the brush against the cap so the water goes toward the paper. If it’s too heavy, just blot with a paper towel. I then used my Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends and did more flicking, this time all over the card. I like the look – a bit country – and this is a country scene after all. I cut two strips of paper, one from the Subtle 6×6 DSP in Blushing Bride (3/8 width) and one from Whimsy & Wonder 12 x 12 Specialty DSP (SDSP) (1/2 width). I adhered them together after trimming the ends on an angle, then added to the front of the card. I took a length of the White Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, separated the threads and wound just a couple of them around a bit, just leaving them in place. I took the trees die cut from Green Foil, put mini dimensionals on the back and adhered them over the twine, holding it in place. I trimmed the length of the tree trunk too, so they were fairly even with one another. I wanted tiny words and found them in the Many Messages stamp set. I know, this is a big, all encompassing stamp with several sentiments. But with the help of my Stamparatus and some masking of surrounding sentiments, it worked just fine! I stamped in Memento Black ink then cut out the portion I wanted to use. I put mini dimensionals on the back and adhered it in place. The final step was to addf a few of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (Polished Pink & Soft Succulent) and the card front was finis.

Pink & Green Whimsy.2

This card looks very pink to me – must be the lighting! I do apologize – for the card is the Basic White Notecard!! Remember the strips on the front of the card? I had some left and simply added it to the bottom of the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Memento Black ink and that was it.

Pink & Green Whimsy.3

For the envelope I stamped the sweet tree from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in stamped-off Soft Evergreen ink. I added more Subtle 6×6 DSP to the flap. Such a sweet card. And this doesn’t take long to do. It would be fine on a full A2 size card as well ~ I just happen to like the Notecard & Envelopes size :O)

Fun project for me – and I hope you liked it as well. If you do not have a demonstrator and need an Annual 2021 Catalog OR Jul-Dec 2021 Mini Catalog, please reach out to me – happy to send one to you. Stampin’ Up! Black & White + One, Part 2

I couldn’t help it… I just HAD to make a card to go with the cute gift box from yesterday… It is super simple. The Striped paper is from the Beautifully Penned 12 x 12 DSP that is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 order. The other main products are the Scalloped Contour Dies and the Poinsettia Dies. I also used two different embossing powders for a modern-type look (goes with the stripy paper, don’t you think so?) Black Embossing Powder for the sentiment on the front of the card (from Poinsettia Petals stamp set) and White Embossing Powder for the poinsettias on the inside of the card and front of the envelope (also from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.) And the plus one is the red ~ Real Red card stock for the berries & background papers & the Wonderful Gems in red.

Black & White + One, Part 2.1

I wanted to keep the same stamp set/ dies to make this a unified set – remember yesterday’s box. If you didn’t see that post, you may view it here. However, I will be giving directions for the box in today’s post.

Card info & very basic directions: (this card is so simple, it doesn’t need a lot of explanation)

  • Thick Basic White 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
  • Real Red card stock 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 (cut 2), 2 1/2 x 3 1/8 + scrap for berries
  • Basic White card stock 2 3/4 x 3 (die cut piece for front – Scalloped Contour Dies), 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (inside panel)
  • Beautifully Penned DSP 3 12 x 4 3/4, 2 1/4 x 6 (envelope flap)
  • VersaMark ink + Black Embossing Powder for the front sentiment: heat set
  • VersaMark ink + White Embossing Powder for the poinsettia on the inside panel & the front of the envelope: heat set. I did use a sponge dauber & Real Red ink for the envelope front but don’t like the effect!!
  • Three Wonderful Gems in red
  • DSP & Real Red are adhered together with Stampin’ Seal, then added to card front with dimensionals
  • Scalloped panel is adhered to Real Red with Stampin’ seal, then added to card front as shown with dimensionals
  • Berry die cuts adhered with liquid glue and slipped in. Each was cut apart to create the fullness

This card goes so nicely (I think) with the box…

Black & White + One, Part 2.4

The box directions:

  • Cut paper 4 x 12
    • score on the long side 1, 5 1/2, 6 1/2, and 11
    • score on the short side at 1 & 3
    • burnish

Trim as shown in photo, add Stampin Seal on small trimmed pieces, fold together adhering. Lid folds over the top.

Box template

For the DSP box I did add reinforcement to the bottom, using Thick Basic White and the same DSP, adhering them in with Seal+.

Stampin’ Up! Black & White + One

Hello fellow stampers! It’s Friday, a bit rainy here today. Not sure how long it will last. I have one more card to share from our Team Meeting on Sunday, but I just had to pop in with this very cute box. My paper of choice for this is the Beautifully Penned 12 x 12 DSP that is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 purchase. More on that later in the post. I’ve chosen Black & White cuz there’s a challenge for Black & White plus one other color…. and I chose red.

Black & White + One.1

Other products…

  • Poinsettia Dies (coordinates w/ Poinsettia Petals stamp set)
  • Seasonal Labels Dies (coordinates w/ Christmas Season stamp set)
  • Vellum
  • Basic White card stock
  • Real Red card stock
  • Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
  • Wink of Stella

The ‘how’ to decorate this box…

  • die cut the vellum using the smallest label die in the Seasonal Labels Dies
  • die cut three poinsettia petals using the Poinsettia Dies & Basic White card stock, cover with Wink of Stella, adhere together with glue dots and mini dimensionals. I used the mini dimensional only for adding the top petal.
  • die cut the berry spray using another of the Poinsettia Dies and Real Red card stock., cut apart as desired
  • add the vellum to the box with Stampin’ Seal+ just across the middle of the Vellum. This will be very secure and the adhesive will be covered by the decoration.
  • adhere the berries with more Stampin’ Seal+
  • add the poinsettia with two glue dots
  • Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the three varied sizes for a bit of sparkle & glam
  • tie the Real Red Ribbon Double-Stitched Ribbon around the end of the box, making a bow – done!

Tomorrow I’ll give complete directions for the box & a card to go with it. 😏

Stampin’ Up! A Bit of Painted Christmas Suite Part 1

The other I mentioned we had a Team Meeting with a couple of demonstrations by teammates. Here is another of the cards we individually put together. I’ve ‘tweeked’ mine a bit so it’s not exactly the same, but oh so similar.

Painted Christmas Suite Part 1.1

The Painted Christmas Suite means, two stamp set with two coordinating dies, ribbon, Gold Holly Leaves & Designer Series Paper ~ and ALL of thesde products are used on this card (+ a few others as well 🙂 Let’s begin…

  • Thick Basic White card stock for the base (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2)
  • Cherry Cobbler card stock (4 1/8 x 5 3/8): one adhered directly to the card front, the other adhered to the inside of the card
  • Painted Christmas 12 x 12 DSP (4 x 5 1/4) adhered to the card front
  • Stamp the sentiment from Christmas To remember stamp set in VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder & heat set with the heat tool
  • Die cut with the largest label die in the Seasonal Labels Dies
  • Stamp the single pine bough six times with Evening Evergreen ink on Soft Succulent card stock. Die cut all six. Here’s where mine differs… cover the stamped pine bough with Wink of Stella.
  • Stamp the two pine cones, large & small: Soft Suede stamped off once for the larger image of each cone, First generation Soft Suede ink for the detailed stamp. Die cut both cones. Again, this is where mine differs ~ cover the inked areas with Wink of Stella.
Painted Christmas Suite Part 1.2

I’m hoping you can see the Wink of Stella in this photo but not sure it shows :O(

  • Add pine boughs together with glue dots in two groups of three (as shown) tghen adds to the edge of the label with liquid glue.
  • Layer the large cone overlapping the boughs, dimensionals under the right side of the cone.
  • Layer to the smaller cone over this with dimensionals.
  • Tie a bow with the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon and add with a glue dot
  • Here’s another place where mine differs: add three Gilded Gems for extra sparkle.
Painted Christmas Suite Part 1.3

For the inside…

  • On a Basic White panel (4 x 5 1/4) stamp the double pine boughs from Christmas Seasons stamp set in Evergreen ink in the two upper corners
  • Stamp the single bough over these, also in Evergreen ink.
  • Differing again… add Wink of Stella to the stamped boughs
  • Add 3/4″ strip to the bottom of the panel and adhere panel to the inside of the card. DONE!
Painted Christmas Suite Part 1.4

For the envelope…

  • Add Painted Christmas 12 x 12 DSPn to the envelope flap, trim to fit
  • Stamp the boughs in a similar fashion as on the inside of the card – at the top of the envelope 🙂

This is a lovely design – so simply done, yet layered with glam & detail. Thank you for the design and demonstration Karen Ksensakovic!

Stampin’ Up! Halloween Fun…

Hi Folks! It’s time for another fun-filled Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. Get ready to see some f-u-n cards, maybe some spooky ones as well.

Halloween Fun.1

This is definitely NOT a spooky card… it’s meant to be light-hearted. The background is Basic White card stock that has been colored with Blending Brushes & a couple of different inks: Balmy Blue and Basic Gray for the sky – to assimilate dusk, when the bats begin. I used a Basic Borders Dies to create the clouds, then colored them lightly again as clouds are never all white. The bottom of the card is Old Olive ink used with Blending Brushes. The bats, pumpkin & broom were die cut using the Seasonal Swirls Dies.

  • Bats: Basic Black card stock
  • Broom from Basic White card stock and colored with Basic Black Marker for the handle and Dark So Saffron Blends & shaded with Light Pumpkin Pie Blends for the broom bristles
  • Pumpkin is die cut from Pumpkin Pie card stock and shaded with Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends and a bit of Cinnamon Cider for the stem

The very neat fence was die cut with the Sheep Dies & Crumb Cake card stock. This was shaded with sponge daubers & Old Olive ink and Basic Gray ink to give it some depth & make it look almost real. The sheep was stamped in Basic Gray ink on a Basic White panel & die cut with the Sheep Dies.

  • The sheep is adhered directly to the card front, as are the bats ~ with liquid glue
  • The BOO! was stamped in Basic Gray ink on a Basic White scrap and fussy cut. It comes from the Banner Year stamp set.
  • The broom was attached to the fence with dabs of liquid glue, and the fence added to the card front with mini dimensionals.
  • The pumpkin was adhered directly to the fence

The Basic White panel (4 x 5 1/4) was attached to Basic Gray with liquid glue. Dimensionals were added to the back and attached to the Basic Black card base ~ and the card front is complete.

Halloween Fun.2

The inside is stamps from the Banner Year stamp set: spider web is stamped in Memento Black ink, sentiment in Basic Gray ink and the pumpkin is both Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive ~ both stamped off once. These were stamped on a Basic White panel (4 x 5 1/4, then adhered to a Basic Gray panel (4 1/8 x 5 3/8) then adhered to the inside of the card.

Halloween Fun.3

The pumpkin is stamped-off once Pumpkin Pie ink. The stem/ leaf is Old Olive ink first generation. Both are from Banner Year stamp set. The flap is Pumpkin Pie card stock run through the Stitched Leaves Die and trimmed to fit. I work that die in whenever I can… love it. And that’s my card. Hope you like it. It’s light-hearted and fun. I haven’t used the Sheep Dies before and had a really good time with them.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Bundles

Monday, Monday… can’t get you down… hee hee, funny song that came to me from YEARS ago 🙂 It IS Monday and a beautiful one at that. I hope you have plans to craft for a bit, just for you. We had a Team Meeting yesterday and after the business portion we made cards. Three of our teammates presented (meaning they demonstrated the how-to for the card they created.) ALL OF THEM did a terrific job! And today’s card is one of those demonstrated, which I made.

Christmas Bundle.1

I happen to like monochromatic and this has a splash of color with die cuts, ribbon and embellishments. And how about the embossing with the Merry Melody 3D EF? I haven’t used this folder much and love it! Expect to see more of it in the next couple of months. Let’s see how to do this.

How to:

  • Do the stamping for the die cuts all at the same time. They can all be stamped on a Basic White panel about 4 x 5, then die cut together. The stamp set of choice is Christmas Season and the dies are from Seasonal Dies.
    • Evening Evergreen ink for the longer leaf stem and for the single pine bough
    • Soft Succulent ink for the Holly leaves – stamp twice and die cut twice
    • Cherry Cobbler for the berries
    • Soft Suede for the berry stem
  • Die cut the above stamped pieces
  • Run a Basic White panel 1 3/4 x 3 7/8 through the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder & adhere to a Basic White panel 1 7/8 x 3 7/8
  • Adhere these two panels to a Basic White panel 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
  • Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink using the Stamparatus. The sentiment comes from the Christmas To Remember stamp set
  • Add the die cuts as shown in the photo with liquid glue and glue dots
  • Add three Gold Holly Leaves with glue dots
  • Add a bow tied with the Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon and adhere with a glue dot
  • Put dimensionals on the back of the completed Basic White embellished panel and add to a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 14

The inside…

Christmas Bundle.2

Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink using the Christmas To Remember stamp set. Stamp the holly leaves in Soft Succulent ink and the berries in Cherry Cobbler ink. Both come from Christmas Season stamp set. All this is done on a panel of Basic White card stock 4 x 5 1/2. Add to the inside of the card and voila – the card is finis!

For the envelope…

Stamp the holly leaves in Soft Succulent ink and the berries in Cherry Cobbler ink – both from the Christmas Season stamp set. For the flap I stamped the pine boughs from Christmas Season stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and called it done. Lovely card! I really like this one.

ut to me – happy to send one to you. And when I send it, there will be a Sale-a-bration catalog in with it! Stampin’ Up! and Gift Packaging

Surprise! It’s Sunday! And what I have for you today is… not a card, it’s gift packaging in a very fun way. This came from none other than Sam Hammond Donald or Pootles, who does quite a bit of boxes & such. This is not a box. And I did three different sizes cuz they are so cute and well, I couldn’t quit :O)

Aren’t these just CUTE? I haven’t decorated but one of them, cuz I can’t decide… And can you tell there are three different sizes here? The last photo is the smallest; the medium size are the first two photos; and the largest is the polka dot. The color is Highland Heather, not very Christmasy, but could be. The two papers (largest & medium) are from the Penguin Playmates 12 x 12 DSP – a FREE item during Sale-a-bration. The smallest is from the 2021-2023 In Color 6×6 DSP. The ribbon is Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon. To me, they look as though they should be decorated as baby packaging – maybe it’s the color that leads me in that direction. So… friends… Shall I decorate as though they are for Christmas or a for a baby gift? Or maybe a Christmas baby gift? Hmmm – thinking through this and I kinda like that idea, Christmas baby gift. Let me show you the one I did decorate, albeit not overly so.

Gift Packaging

I fussy cut images from the Penguin Playmates DSP, added them to the stitched rectangle with mini dimensionals , bent the rectangle a bit to give it a curve and mounted it with dimensionals to the package. Oh, and yes, I did stamp a sentiment as well – the images called for it 🙂

Let me tell you how these are made and I know you will want to try this yourself. The paper sizes vary, but all must be square AND divisible by 3.

Sizes:

  • 12 x 12 scored @ 4 & 8; turn and do the same again
  • 9 x 9 scored at 3 & 6; turn and do the same again
  • 6 x 6 scored at 2 & 4; turn and do the same again

The how to:

If you do not have a demonstrator and need an Annual 2021 Catalog OR Jul-Dec 2021 Mini Catalog, please reach out to me – happy to send one to you. And when I send it, there will be a Sale-a-bration catalog in with it! That means more FREE items to choose from with every order of $50, or $100 or multiples of that. Please also use my current host code when ordering: R6U3VRBN. I offer my customers a free item from Stampin’ Up! valued to $10 with your order of $50 and above. Click here to go my store. When the order is over $150, you still receive that free gift from me, but SU! has Stampin’ Rewards that may be used for additional products, so don’t use the host code at that time. If you have questions just let me know. If you would like to be able to order products early from catalogs AND enjoy that 20% discount, join my team now… you may do that here.
