Hi Folks… to follow up yesterday… there was practically no wind at all, so no sailing for us. In lieu of that I made cards! 😏 I used primarily the Nature’s Harvest bundle (includes the Harvest Dies) and Scalloped Contours Dies + Pattern Party DSP (available with a $300 order!). Of course, I used a few other products… so here we go…
Here I used the largest of the Contour Dies and the Pattern Party DSP. I then die cut with Cork and the Gold & Rose Gold 6×6 SDSP using the Harvest Dies. This is stunning SDSP!!! Additionally, Simply Elegant Trim in gold and Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Gems. The sentiment is from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set stamped with Early Espresso ink and die cut with a label die from the Harvest Dies. For the inside I stamped the wonderful floral bunch with Early Espresso ink.
For card 2 I used the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies and Early Espresso card stock. The next layer is Pattern Party DSP die cut with the 3rd largest die in Scalloped Contour Dies. I then stamped this floral bouquet from Nature’s Harvest stamp set with Early espresso ink. I added three Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Gems, adhered everything to a Very Vanilla card base and the card was done.
While the floral bouquet was still damp from the Early Espresso ink, I lightly spritzed it with water, then stamped it on a Very vanilla panel, the stamped again without re-inking. The Very Vanilla panel was adhered to the inside & voila!
OK – card 3… Scalloped Contour Dies (largest) and Crushed Curry card stock die cut; third largest Scalloped Contour Dies & Pattern Party DSP die cut; layer in between a panel of Very Vanilla card stock for contrast. Die cut this floral bouquet from Very Vanilla card stock and with a sponge dauber add color… Crushed Curry for the flowers & Pear Pizzazz for the leaf & stems. Adhere with liquid glue. Tie a bow with two strands: Linen Thread & Simply Elegant Trim in gold, adhere with a glue dot. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and Nature’s Harvest stamp set. Die cut with the label from the Harvest Dies – attach with dimensionals. Add three Metallic Pearls in gold.
For the inside, first I stamped the floral bouquet with Early Espresso ink (Nature’s Harvest stamp set) I then added the saved border of the die cut from the front and attached it to the inside of the card. Done!
Card 4 uses Cork Paper from the Sale-a-bration catalog… love this paper! I adhered it to Early Espresso card stock then to a Very Vanilla card base. I added a die cut from the Harvest Dies and colored it with sponge daubers: Crushed Curry ink, Early Espresso ink and Pear Pizzazz ink. This was added with dabs of liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment in Early espresso ink from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. (I used my stamparatus 🙂 I added a linen bow with a glue dot and the front was done.
For the inside, I had saved the border of the Early espresso die cut from card 2 and adhered it to a Very Vanilla panel. I then stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I added this smaller bouquet from the Nature’s Harvest stamp swet, again in Early Espresso ink.

Card 5 – I was beginning to need a change but wanted to use the last of this sheet of Pattern Party DSP. Therefore with that adhered to a Basic White card base, I die cut from Basic White this gorgeous large floral Artistic Die. I adhered it with dots of liquid glue. I then cut a strip of the Fine Art Ribbon and added it to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I die cut the sentiment with a Harvest die, put dimensionals on the back and attached it over the ribbon. Lastly I added three Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
For the envelope I embossed a Basic White panel with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and added it to the flap, trimmed to fit. Voila! Five cards prepared to send…most can easily be used for sympathy or thinking of you while two of the cards are specific. These card are not layered too much with dimensionals. I like layers in general and using dimensionals add dimension. BUT, since I’m sending these for an order, I didn’t want them to require extra postage. I think all of these will work with regular postage.I was pretty determined to get these done today and DID – yay! Hope you like…
