Welcome, welcome ~ to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday blog Hop! We have a color challenge today that’s really fun – see below – and some fabulous crafters. If you came from the talented Tara, so happy to have you stop by.
I have to share a funny… I created a card yesterday and took photos, the day continued. I started putting this hop stuff together and realized I had THE WRONG COLOR CHALLENGE! I was dumbfounded… yep – that card you will see in December :O) Today’s final card is made with the Decorated with Happiness stamp set & coordinating Decorated Pine Dies. I love the pine fronds AND the ornaments – so fun. I’ve used Red & White 6×6 Glimmer paper; 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 Glimmer Paper in Sweet Sorbet; Pool Party card stock to die cut the ornaments & hangers – all using the Decorated with Pine Dies. The card base is Sweet Sorbet and the white layer is White Glimmer Paper from the Red & White 6×6 Glimmer pack :O) The pine boughs are die cut with the with Garden Green card stock. To create the snow I used the Snowfall Accent Puff Paint & my Heat Tool.
The sentiment was stamped on a Basic White scrap with Sweet Sorbet ink using the Decorated with Happiness stamp set. I fussy cut it and attached it with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White panel in Sweet Sorbet ink using the Decorated with Happiness stamp set. I stamped the ornaments in Pool Party ink using the same stamp set. The panel was added to the inside of the Sweet Sorbet card base.
For the envelope I stamped the same ornament as used on the inside of the card from Decorated with Happiness stamp set in Pool Party ink, then added the pine fronds in Garden Green ink. The flap is covered in Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 DSP. And the card et all was complete! YAY…
Now – do check the rest of the ‘hoppers’ of the Inkin’ Thursday Krew by clicking the next button or clicking on a name. Happy hopping!
Wouldn’t this kit be great for making masculine cards? For me, having a stack of these ready at my fingertips would be a real advantage. And we have several friends who love to travel and I just see this as a perfect justification 👍.

Hello again – blog hop time 😁 and we have a sketch challenge – Christmas! Woohoo! Who doesn’t love the shiny, glittery, bright colors of the holidays? (It’s all the advertising that drives me crazy!)
I’ve chosen to work with the Trimming the Tree bundle. I love what happens with the tree dies in this set of dies ~ it creates all the elements of the tree (branches?) After die cutting, they can be poked out (which I did!).
I began by die cutting the tree outline using the Tree Trimming Dies (the dies retired in September but you can use them if you have them) on the Regals 6×6 DSP in Shaded Spruce and set that aside. I die cut the detailed tree using the Tree Trimming Dies on a smaller panel of Basic White, then again in Shaded Spruce and layered them together with liquid glue then adhered that to a Basic White panel with liquid glue. I put dimensionals on the back of the Regals 6×6 DSP and adhered it over the detailed tree die cut. This allows the tree branches to stick up/ out to give the tree some depth ~ and I love this look!. I then used the Shimmery Crystal Effects to add to many of the branch tips. See photo below for a better ‘look see’. I die cut a star from the Tree Trimmings Dies using the Real Red & White Glimmer 6×6 paper. I put a mini dimensional on it and attached it to the tree top.
I stamped the sentiment from Trimming the Tree stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Basic White piece, then die cut that with the banner die in the Tree Trimmings Dies. I adhered this with dimensionals then added a couple of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
For the inside… I took the leftover die cut of the outline tree, turned it over to use the opposite side :O), adhered it to the inside Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Trimming the Tree stamp set in Shaded Spruce, added this panel to the inside of the card and… done!
I kept the envelope simple… added a strip of the Regals 6×6 DSP in Shaded Spruce to the flap, trimmed it to fit and called it completed. I like it and hope you do too :O) The DSP is 3 3/4 x 5; the larger Basic White panel is 4 x 5 1/4; the card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
Now it’s time to visit the others on the hop… click the next button to see what Carol has created or click a name to visit another of the hoppers. Thanks so much for joining us. Do have fun hopping!

Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We have a sketch challenge for you today that lends itself to a realm of ideas.
And here’s my card for this week. It uses the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set & Candy Canes Dies + Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 DSP as primary elements for the card.
This card began with the wonderful diagonal die cut from Candy Canes Dies, die cut from Basic White. I love this die!!! I then die cut the candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas DSP; stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink on a Basic White scrap & die cut it; stamped the leaf bunch several times in Garden Green ink on another Basic White scrap and die cut- all using the Sweet Candy Canes Bundle. I cut a length of the Real Red Ribbon from the Ribbon Combo Pack and slipped it through the sentiment banner, adhering on the back with glue dots. I adhered the diagonal die cut to a panel of Sweetest Christmas DSP with dabs of liquid glue around the edges. I added the candy canes with liquid glue just on the end where I would eventually place the sentiment banner & dimensionals (a couple of them under the ‘hook’ of each candy cane.) I wrapped the Baker’s Twine around three fingers, twisted it and added it to the back of the sentiment banner, adhering with Stampin’ Seal on the backside of the banner. The twine is from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack in Sweet Sorbert. The banner was adhered with several dimensionals to give it stability. A couple of the stamped leaf branches were added with liquid glue.
For the inside I adhered one of the die cut candy canes from Sweetest Christmas 12 x 12 DSP to the top of a Basic White panel, then stamped the sentiment from Sweet Candy Canes stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink. The die cut candy cane used the Candy Canes Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Candy Canes stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink near the candy cane. I adhered this Basic White panel to a piece of the Sweetest Christmas DSP – same as the card front – then into the Garden Green card base. I added two of the Sweet Sorbet Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to either side of the stamped sentiment.
For the envelope: more of the same Sweetest Christmas DSP on the flap and the sentiment on front is from Sweet Candy Canes stamp set stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink – going around the corner :O)

Hello Tuesday! We have another hop for you today… Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop Group. The theme is Giving Thanks with our own interpretation and you will see a wide variety of ideas from that.
Interesting… when I see this photo it looks as though the package is raised. It is NOT! It is the Quatrefoil Tile panel that is raised and the package is inset. How about that! There it is.. a conundrum of a photo… I;ll explain how I created this at least.
I took a Basic White panel and with the Stylish Shapes Die, cut the square. I then ran it through the Quatrefoil 3D Embossing Folder. To add color to the folder, I used the Balmy Blue ink pad and gently ‘pulled’ it over the embossed panel. It adds just a bit of color when done properly and I like the look! I die cut another square with the Stylish Shapes Dies from Subtles 6×6 DSP in Pool Party. Both the Basic White embossed panel and the Pool Party square were set aside. to stamp & die cut the bow. This uses the Country Wreaths Dies – but first a stamping of the ‘blotch’ in the Perched in a Tree stamp set with Pool Party ink on a Basic White scrap, then die cut the bow with the Country Wreaths Dies. I put dimesnionals on the upper portion of the bow & the bow center & adhered it to the Quatrefoil panel. I put lots of dimensionals on the back of the Quatrefoil panel and adhered it to a Pool Party card base. I added liquid glue to the Subtles square and slipped it in the opening. The sentiment was stamped in Balmy Blue ink on a Basic White strip using the Cottage Wreaths stamp set, then die cut with the appropriate banner in the Stylish Shapes dies. And the card front was done :O)
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink using the Country Wreaths stamp set, then used the ‘dot blotch’ and Balmy Blue ink to add the dots from Perched in a Tree stamp set. I did this just cuz. It seemed to need something and this is what I did. The Basic White panel was added to the inside of card base and voila – the card was done.
For the envelope, I cut a strip of Balmy Blue card stock and ran it through the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder, then used the Balmy Blue ink pad to add more color: lightly sliding it over the embossed piece. I added this to the envelope flap and trimmed it to fit. With a bit of the same Balmy Blue embossed panel left, I cut it 1/2″ and added it to the bottom of the envelope. This could so easily be a baby card, a gift card, a birthday card – you name it. I’m using it to send a monetary gift to a favorite someone wanting to purchase a mandolin. Fun, huh?! I think they will love the card & the gift!
Next in line is the creative Jillian Good. I can’t wait to see what she & the others have done!! Click on the next or previous button or click on a name to continue the hop. Enjoy!!!

Hello again – whowee, it’s Thursday and time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop… we have a sketch challenge today.
And here’s my card…
This card begins with a Basic Gray A2 card base with the fold to the left. A piece of Sun Prints DSP was adhered to the front. Another piece of the Sun Prints DSP – this time in Starry Sky, was run through the Wintry 3D embossing folder. Since this has two folders, I chose the snowflakes :O) This was adhered to a Basic White panel then added to the center of the card with dimensionals. I then added a Wonderful Snowflake with a single glue dot in the center. I pulled out my Basic White and die cut two snowflakes with the Frosted Flurry Dies that coordinates with the Joyful Flurry stamp set. I set these aside whileI stamped the sentiment from Joyful Flurry stamp set in Starry Sky ink on a Basic White piece, then die cut it with the appropriate banner die from the Frosted Flurry Dies.I put dimensionals on the back, added it to the card front with dimesnionals, then added the two snowflakes with a single glue dot in the center. For a bit of sparkle I added three Iridescent Rhinestones. And the card front was done – just like that!
For the inside I took left-ever strips from a Basic White panel embossed with the Wintry 3D embossing folder, snowflakes, and added them to the bottom of a Basic White panel. Then I took one of the snowflakes from the Frosted Snowflakes Dies and die cut it just above those strips. It adds a nice effect, don’t you think? Notice this die… it leaves the center intact :O) Because there is no sentiment on the inside of this card, it could be used for several purposes – and I like that a LOT!
For the envelope… a panel of Basic White run through the Wintry 3D embossing folder, adhered to the envelope flap & trimmed to fit. Then on the front, a stamped snowflake: first in full strength Starry Sky ink, then stamped again without re-inking. Third time is inked, then stamped-off twice and stamped on the envelope front.
Thanks for joining me for the hop. The next visit is to Amy Koenders and you may click on the ‘next’ button to get there. You may visit any of the others by clicking on their name. Enjoy the creativity you find today.

It’s Thursday & welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. You may have come from the talented Tara Carpenter … or simply begun here. Be sure you check out all the creative posts for today’s bog hop!
The theme challenge this week was a Fall card … and this is what I did
So does this fit? :O) There were SO MANY ways I could have gone as there are some really, really great fall bundles, but honestly, I was looking for something different. And here it is. The DSP is the Happy Forest Friends 12 x 12; the leaves are from Season of Chic bundle; the front sentiment is from Charming Sentiments & die cut with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouette Dies. I used Calypso Coral , Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks for the leaves; Calypso Coral and mossy Meadow for the sentiments; the card base is Calypso Coral; the embossed & layering panels are Mossy Meadow card stock. The embellishments are Brushed Metallic Dots. I had such fun creating this card.
Directions:
cut card base (Calypso Coral): 5 1/2 x 11. Score on long side 4, 5 3/4, 7 1/2 and 9 1/4
cut another piece (Calypso Coral) 5 x 2 1/2 and score at 2 1/2
cut another in Calypso Coral 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 (this becomes an inside panel for the sentiment)
cut a Basic White 2 x 2 for the sentiment inside panel
cut pieces to emboss (Mossy Meadow) 1 5/8 x 5 3/8, 2 3/8 x 2 3/8, 3 7/8 x 5 3/8: emboss with Stitched Greenery Die
adhere pieces as shown in photo
Now create the leaves using the leaves in the Seasoned Chic stamp set: ink the stamp with Calypso Coral and with a sponge dauber add inks from Mossy Meadow & Old Olive. You can see in the photo I did this five times, varying the colors just a bit; by this I mean inking the stamp with Mossy Meadow or Old Olive and with a sponge dauber for each color, adding the other inks. Each was stamped on Basic White then die cut with the coordinating Chic Dies. You can see I also die cut a couple of the open leaves – gorgeous. Before adhering to the card, I decided on the sentiment for the front: Charming Sentiments stamp set and stamped in Calypso Coral ink then die cut with the Sentiment Silhouette Dies. This was adhered with liquid glue, then the leaves were attached. Three Brushed Metallic Dots were added to the front. The sentiment for the inside comes from the Apple Harvest stamp set and stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. This was die cut with the coordinating Apple Blossom Dies. (These two are part of the Perfect Partners Promotion and available during the month of September while supplies last. Each is available separately, but why would you? With 10% off when purchased as a bundle, it’s a steal!) Two more of the Brushed Metallic Dots were added near the sentiment panel. As there really isn’t much room to write, I did add a Basic White panel to the back of the card (4 x 5 1/4).

Hello again… The other day I posted about the watercolor classes ~ and today I am following through with sharing a creation made using the emboss resist watercolor. It uses Fluid 100 Watercolor paper, re-inkers and a water painter… and of course VersaMark ink, White Embossing Powder and Heat Tool. 😁 Here’s the card…
Begin by stamping the image (Joyful Flurry!) with VersaMark ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor paper. I used my Stamparatus and did several stamps at the same time. It was easy & efficient at the same time. I sprinkled with White Embossing Powder then heat set with the Heat Tool. I added more snowflakes to cover the full page. I let this cool while cleaning the stamps, then created a wash with re-inkers and an acrylic block. I put one drop of each color re-inker: Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Pool Party. I mixed them together with the widest of the Water Painters, then brushed this liberally over the embossed snowflakes. If I needed more water, I simply squeezed the Water Painter just a bit for a drop to come through. Once I covered the sheet of embossed Fluid 100 paper with color, I set it aside to dry. This is when I created the sentiment banner & did die cuts of snowflakes.
I stamped the sentiment on a Thick Basic White scrap with Night of Navy ink, then die cut it with this fun banner die from the Frosted Flurry Dies. I die cut two small snowflakes using more dies in the Frosted Flurries Dies and adhered them to the banner with dots of liquid glue. Iran Stampin’ Seal+ on the back of the banner and attached two ribbons to it: first the Glittered Organdy Ribbon in white, then the Metallic Woven Ribbon in starry Sky. I liked the way they looked together, put dimensionals on the back of the banner and added it to the now dry embossed & watercolored piece. I added Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the center of the two snowflakes and liked the look. I added aslightly larger piece of Starry Sky card stock to the back of the watercolored piece, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to a Thick Basic White card base. And the front was done…
On a Basic White panel I placed the snowflake die from Frosted Flurry Dies in the lower right corner. Notice it does not cut through the center… love the look… and because I did (love the look) I did the same in the upper left corner. I added a single Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the center of each snowflake. I attached this panel to a slightly larger piece of Starry Sky card stock then added it to the inside of the card. Finis!
For the envelope I stamped the sentiment from Joyful Flurry stamp set on the front of the envelope in Balmy Blue ink. I then ran the envelope through the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder using the snowflake image. (This embossing folder has two narrow folders in the set and it is perfect for this particular card!)
