Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes & 24-26 In Color 6×6

Good Friday morning! The wind & rain pummeled our house last night, waking me. Hubby slept right through it! My card for today uses a couple of new products from the 24-25 Annual catalog: Pretty In Pink card stock & ink, 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP, White Diagonal Trim (from the Petal Pink & White Diagonal Trim Combo Pack), 24-26 In Color Shimmer Gems and Thoughtful Wishes bundle – all available May 1!!! It It also includes a retiring Playing In The Rain stamp set (moving to ONLINE EXCLUSIVE) and Deckled Rectangle dies, also from the ONLINE shop.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes & 24-26 In Color 6x6 card front

I adhered the 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 piece of 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP to a Basic White 4 x 5 1/4, put dimensionals on the back and attached to a Pretty In Pink card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. I stamped the floral stamp from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Old Olive ink on a Basic White scrap and die cut it with the coordinating Thoughtful Wishes Dies. With those dies still on my desk, I die cut another in Old Ol;ive card stock and the small flower in Old Olive and Pretty In Pink, trimmed the Pretty In Pink flower off and adhered it to the stem of Old Olive. I adhered the tasll Old Olive die cut directly to the card front, then the floral spray with dimensionals and the small flower with liquid glue.. I stamped the sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes in Pretty In Pink ink on a Basic White piece and die cut it with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I attached a length of the White Diagonal Trim with Stampin’ Seal, then added the sentiment banner with dimensionals on each end. The final touch was tghree 24-26 In Color Shimmer Gems in Pretty In Pink.

Stampin' Up! Playing in the Rain inside card

For the inside, I wanted something light & fun so pulled out the Playing in the Rain stamp set, stamped the sentiment in Pretty In Pink ink and the flowers in Old Olive ink – all on a Basic White panel. This was adhered directly to the card base.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes & 24-26 In Color 6x6 card & envelope

For the envelope, I used the same panel of 24-26 In Color 6×6 DSP and turned it to the other side, adhered it to the flap and trimmed to fit. On the front I used the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set ‘splotch’ stamp and Pretty In Pink ink to stamp – some first generation and others stamped off. This is such a gorgeous shade of pink – love the new 24-26 In Colors!!! If you do not have a 24-25 Annual Catalog, please connect with me & I’ll send one to you ASAP. My regular customers have theirs already.

Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to Thursday & the fabulous Happy Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop. You may have come from the creative Tara Carpenter – or simply dropped in. However you arrived, I hope you enjoy the hop today. We have a sketch challenge this week.

I’ve used a fairly new item from the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES products called Encircled in Nature bundle – some wreath making can be done in a flash with the various dies. My interpretation for the sketch is perhaps different, a bit of a stretch. But I wanted to use these trees. I love trees & I’ve stamped & die cut these using Shaded Spruce – and I’ve used a new Annual Catalog paper called Country Woods 12×12 DSP. As you can see, very masculine-like. I cut it down to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 and adhered it to a Basic White just slightly larger, then to a Basic Gray card Base. I stamped the trees, which are in a crescent shape in Shaded Spruce ink, then die cut the trees from Shaded Spruce card stock. I should have used foam adhesive on this piece of card stock but didn’t :O( I did add teeny tiny strips of dimensionals to the back, then attached it in place. The front sentiment comes from another new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE called Happy Things bundle, and was stamped with Basic Gray ink and die cut with Happy Things Dies. I die cut a triple set of trees, cut one off and added it to one end of the sentiment banner & the other two trees to the right end, added a dimensional to the right end and attached it. The final touch are three Basic Gray pearls from the new annual catalog (Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls.)

Stampin' Up! Encircled in Nature, inside card

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink, then stamped the leaves in stamped off Shaded Spruce ink – both on a Basic White panel.

Stampin' Up! Encircled in Nature card & envelope

For the envelope… a single stamped tree on the front in Shaded Spruce ink and more of the Country Woods 12×12 DSP on the flap (available to customers May 1)

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions Sympathy Card

Good Tuesday – day after the solar eclipse! Did you see it? Wasn’t it amazing??? What was interesting to me was how quiet all the birds & animals became – they disappeared and stopped their singing, chirping, playing around. I expected some of that as I had read about it, but that’s different than experiencing it. Just sayin’.

Today’s card features a couple of the LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS that go on sale today, April 9.: Poetic Expressions 12×12 DSP and the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle. Later in this post is a link to the Last Chance Products shopping with me.

Thoughtful Expressions Sympathy card front

I began with die cutting the beautiful Poetic Expressions 12×12 DSP with the largest of the Perennial Postage Dies. I saved the outside rim of the die cut to use on the inside – see that in next photo. I adhered this DSP die cut to Bubble Bath card stock 4 18 x 5 3/8, put dimensionals on the back and attached it to a Wild Wheat card base (8 1/2 x 5 12 scored at 4 1/4). I then stamped the image from Thoughtful Expressions stamp set in Memento Black ink on a Basic White scrap 2 3/8 x 3. I colored this sweet floral image with Stampin’ Blends: Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight, Lost Lagoon and Light Mossy Meadow, then die cut it with the coordinating die in the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. I pulled out one of the banner dies in Thoughtful Expressions Dies and die cut from Basic White 1 3/4 x 3 1/4. I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink using the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set. I adhered the floral die cut to the sentiment banner with liquid glue then added lots of dimensionals to the back. I set this aside to add a Sheer Ribbon in Bubble Bath (from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack) to create a background for the sentiment banner. I added the ribbon with Stampin’ Seal & wove it back & forth, then added the sentiment banner over it to further secure it in place. The final touch was adding the three Iridescent Foil Gems – and the card front was complete.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Expressions sympathy card, inside

For the inside… the first step was to adhere the outer rim of the Poetic Expressions DSP, the one die cut with the largest Perennial Postage Dies, to a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel. I then stamped the hummingbird image from Thoughtful Expressions stamp set in Bubble Bath ink. I then stamped the sentiment – also from Thoughtful expressions stamp set – in Memento ink. This panel was added to a
Bubble Bath card stock 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, then to the inside of theWild Wheat card base. Love, love – so feminine – and so perfect for a sympathy card.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Expressions Sympathy card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the same Poetic Expressions 12×12 DSP adhered to the flap, then a die cut from the same DSP using one of the Thoughtful Expressions Dies – also added to the envelope front.

This is such an awesome bundle and can be found in the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog on page 62. The Poetic Expressions DSP can be found on page 61. These are both LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS. Visit my site here to purchase any other LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS – STARTING TODAY, APRIL 9. You can also click the image below :O)

Stampin’ Up! Sneakie Peek of Loveliest Trees Thank You Card

Good Sunday morning. It’s SUNNY here this morning – after days of rain AND a 4.8 earthquake – we live in central, east coast New Jersey and earthquakes are not common here, so it was strange to have the whole house shaking! No damage and everyone is ok…

My card today uses a new bundle – Loveliest Trees and it is… well, lovely.

Stampin' Up! Loveliest Tree Thank You card front

The card base is Thick Basic White. The colored card stock layers are Early Espresso (3 3/4 x 4 7/8) and Garden Green (3 5/8 x 4 3/4). The Basic White top panel was embossed after stamping & die cutting the tree image – with what else – Timber 3D Embossing Folder. The grain is going up & down – as a tree grows :O) Unfortunately it doesn’t show well in the photo.

I inked the tree from Loveliest Trees stamp set with Granny Apple Green ink, then with a sponge dauber tapped in Pecan Pie ink on the trunk and a bit of the branches, then stamped it on the Basic White panel and die cut it with the Loveliest Trees die. That’s when I ran the panel through the Timber 3D EF – after adhering the layers together, I attached the tree in the open die on dimensionals. Then all the layers were added to the Thick Basic White card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from Loveliest Trees stamp set in Garden Green ink, trimmed the Basic White strip down to 3/8″ x about 2 7/8″, added it to a slightly larger Garden Green strip & attached it as shown with dimensionals near the ends of the strips. With all in place I added three brass birds from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds that retire the end of April.

Stampin' Up! Loveliest Trees thank you, inside

For the inside, I stamped this sweet leaf from Loveliest Trees stamp set in Garden Green ink, and stamped it twice more without re-inking. Love how it gives shades of the same color! I adhered this to a Garden Green slightly larger panel then to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Loveliest Trees Thank You card & envelope

For the envelope, I used the same process as the inside of the card – inked the stamp with Garden Green ink, stamped it once then twice more without re-inking. I did the same on the envelope flap – and it’s ready to send!

Just to share, here are two more sample of the stamped image… Granny Apple Green ink for the entire image and Granny Apple Green (stamped off once) with Pecan Pie added by sponge dauber. I rfeally like this second image a lot.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Yay! It’s Thursday and time for our blog hop – with a color challenge this time.

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Blog Hop Color Challenge
Stampin' Up! Lovely & Sweet Bundle color challenge
Lovely & Sweet Bundle

The Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP is just a stunning set of Designer Series Papers – and yes, it follows our color challenge for today. I used a Thick Basic White card base with a layer of Nature’s Sweetness SDSP adhered directly to it. From another panel of this paper, I die cut several images using the Lovely & Sweet Dies – they match perfectly! I also fussy cut a few images from another panel of the same Nature’s Sweetness SDSP. I then used the largest circle of the Stitched Shapes Dies to create a circle for the images & sentiment. The circle was adhered with dimensionals; leaf layers were adhered with liquid glue behind the circle. The lily spray was also attached with dimensionals and the gold leaves with iquid glue. I then used the embossing buddy from the heat tool kit to remove any static from the Pebbled Path strip, stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink (yep – Lovely & Sweet stamp set!), sprikled it with gold embossing powder and heat set it with the heat tool. I bannered the one end with my paper snips then added it to the card from with dimensionals I added three Adhesived-Backed Cork Rounds to complete the card front.

Stampin' Up! Lovely & Sweet inside card
Lovely & Sweet stamp set

For the inside of the card on a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White panel, I stamped the cross-hatch image in second generation (stamped off once) Pebbled Path ink. I then stamped the sentiment in full strength Pebbled Path ink. At the base of the panel I added a thin strip of one of the Nature’s Sweetness DSP – and the card was complete.

Stampin' Up! Lovely & Sweet card & envelope

For the envelope, I simply adhered another coordinating piece of the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper to the flap. The card is then ready for mailing to a friend who lost her hubby last week.

I created another card with this same color challenge – totally different – using a set of products moving to the ONLINE EXCLUSIVES: Gone Fishing stamp set & coordinating dies. This is a perfect set for those outdoor folks. I combined the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper, Thoughtful Expressions Dies and Faux Leather Trim w/ gold flecks.

Stampin' Up! Gone Fishing card & envelope

Here I again used the Let’s Go Fishing DSP on the Thick Very Vanilla card stock (retiring end of April!) to show off the papoer and create a contrasting background to the rest of the card. I stamped the sentiments and lure images in Pecan Pie ink on Very Vanilla card stock (the regular weight card stock in VV is NOT retiring). I stamped the larger round image in Pebbled Path. ink. I die cut the stamped sentiment with a die from Thoughtful Expressions Dies and another just slightly larger from the Let’s Go Fishing DSP. These two were adhered together. I cut a length of the Faux Leather Trim with gold flecks and tied knots at either end, adhering it in place with a couple of glue dots. I added dimensionals to the two adhered together pieces and attached them over the trim. I used my Take Your Pick Tool to poke a hole in each of the stamped lures and threaded them through with Linen Thread, tieing a knot at the end. I added dimensionals to each of the images and adhered them in place slipping it over the trim. The round image I was able to slip another length of the Faux Leather Trim through the hole, add dimensionals to the back and attach to the card front as well. I added a glue dot that I folded over to adhere that trim in place :O)

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from Gone Fishing stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a panel of Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/4. I adhered a wide strip of the Let’s Go Fishing DSP to the bottom of the card and them more to the envelope flap. The Gone Fishing Bundle is still available through the end of April – so get this versatile, fun set before it is no longer a bundle (10% off as a bundle). Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday – and you know what that means – another blog hop by the fabulous Happy Inkin’ group! We have a sketch challenge today and I have chosen a new product – Thoughtful Wishes stamp set (part of a bundle & suite of products available May 1) AND a couple of cards created with the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards + Card & Envelopes (from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini catalog.)

Stampin' Up! Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop
Stampin' Up! Hop Sketch Challenge
Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes card front

This card uses the beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP (available May 1 in the NEW 2024-2025 Annual Catalog) The sentiment is from the coordinating Thoughtful Wishes stamp set, stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. Notice that new in-color behind the scened DSP? That Petunia Pop! The ribbon is from a two pack that is a White diagonal stripe. The card base is Mossy Meadow with an overlay of Garden Green cut just slightly smaller. The embellishments are Brushed Brass Butterflies that are carrying over as an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE product.

For the inside of the card I stamped the very same image as I stamped on the envelope and forgot to take a photo… so imagine it on a Basic White panel and stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. :O) Ugh!

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes card & envelope

For the envelope I stamped this wonderful floral image all across the bottom of the envelope front in Mossy Meadow ink.

I mentioned that I had done some Sweet Memories & More Cards using this same sketch challenge.

These cards use 3×4 cards & stickers from the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More card pack plus a couple other supplies: Delightfully Eclectic DSP as a background on the 1st card + Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds; #2 card in this section uses the Zinnias 3D EF (an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE) as a background for the sentiment on the front and a single Paper Butterfly Accent, a carry-over product; card 3 additional product is the Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds from the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog (retiring end of April). These were each such fun to create using the very same sketch challenge for today. And since they were a gift from my upline Mary Deatherage and her upline Amy Koenders – well, I just HAD to show them off!

Stampin’ Up! NEW Thoughtful Wishes Sneak Peek

Good morning! It’s Monday and another week begins. Hope you have plans to craft a day or two this week. My card today is super simple – not so many layers. It’s made with a new stamp set bundle called Thoughtful Wishes.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes card front

I began by stamping this leaf ‘stalk’ from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White piece. I colored in the leaves with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends then die cut it with the appropriate Thoughtful wishes Dies. I pulled out an acrylic block and covered it with Peach Pie ink (NEW IN COLOR & GORGEOUS) with the brush tip of my Stampin’ Blends. I spritzed it with alcohol to give it a watery look and stamped it on a larger piece of Basic White. It takes a minute to dry completely so I used half dimensionals to put on the back of my leaf stalk and adhered it on top of the stamped image. It gave it a great background! I then chose a sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set and stamped it in Mossy Meadow ink. For embellishments, I pulled out the Blooming Pearls and added three. This panel was secured to a Peach Pie card base and the front was finished. As I said, very, very simple.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful wishes card inside

For the inside… I stamped this very sweet image from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set all across the bottom of the Basic White panel. This was adhered to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up! Thoughtful Wishes card & envelope

For the envelope I wanted to keep this simple too, so I stamped just a portion of the same leaf stalk from Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink.

Now, let me tell you, this stamp set is part of a suite of products: Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP and another package of SDSP in 12 x 12 – just stunning watercolor images on the 6×6 and more elegant papers in the 12×12 SDSP. I’ll be playing with these products this week, so look for more from this suite of products.

These products (and more!) are available to demonstrators prior to the new 2024-2025 Annual catalog release to share images & projects with our customers & friends to get them excited about all the new items. Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details on a Note Card

Oh my goodness – Spring is here… and yet, it was 28 degrees at 5 AM this morning. What gives! My card today uses the wonderful Everyday Details stamp set. It has some beautiful images and some nice sentiments as well, mixed fonts which I really like. Let’s take a peek.

This is a Basic White Notecard – so 3 1/2 x 5 in size. I stamped the nest image from the Everyday Details stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Vellum Basics 12×12 SDSP then heat set it. Here’s the reason it needed to be heat set… inks on Vellum tend to stay wet for quite a bit and can therefore smear. Ask me how I know that! :O( The next step was to pull out the Sentimental Park Dies and die cut this beautiful banner. I stamped it in Early Espresso ink with a sentiment from the Everyday Details stamp set. With the Sentimental Park Dies still on my desk, I die cut several flowers in Petal Pink and adhered them in place. I used teeny tiny pearls from a retired set called Metallic Pearls. I adhered the Vellum to the notecard base with Stampin’ Seal so it wouldn’t show – under the die cut banner.

Stampin' Up! Everyday Details on a Notecard, inside

On the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink, then added several die cuts from the Sentimental Park Dies, both in Basic White and Balmy Blue.

Stampin' Up! Everyday Details on a Notecard & Envelope

On the envelope I stamped the sentiment from Everyday Details stamp set in Early Espresso ink – and that was it. This stamp set is retiring soon, end of April, so get yours while you can!

Stampin’ Up! NEW Citrus Blooms for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday – and happy Spring as of the 19th! WooHoo. As I noted in an earlier post, I attended the SU! convention in Houston, and when I returned all my daffodils were (and still are) in bloom. So exciting! Love this season… My card today uses a brand new bundle called Citrus Blooms and it is gorgeous. Today I focused on just one of the dies. I used the die on a NEW DSP called Full of Life 6×6 DSP. I really like it. The card base is also a NEW COLOR – called Basic Beige. Later in the post I’ll show a photo of Basic White, Basic Beige and Very Vanilla as a comparison.

Stampin' Up! Citrus Blooms Bundle. Thu hop 321

I simply adore the colors in this DSP… they are clear colors and flow from one to the other. The orange is the sunrise peeking through the leaves and the blue of course, is the sky :O). I know, I know, but this is what I see. And with the sun rising earlier here on the East coast, this DSP fits. So there. :O) The background paper is the new Basic Beige and it just ‘fits’ so easily with this DSP. I’m very excited about this new Basic Beige. So I used this gorgeous die from Citrus Blooms Dies to die cut the DSP, then adhered it to a Basic Beige just slightly larger. I then stamped it with Granny Apple Green ink using a sentiment from Charming Sentiments stamp set. These two papers were then added to a Basic Beige card base with dimensionals. I added some glam… Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.

For the inside…

Stampin' Up! Citrus Blooms Dies, inside of card

From the Citrus Blooms Dies cutting the DSP on the card front, this DSP piece was lest over. I stamped it in Granny Apple Green ink and adhered it to a panel of the Basic Beige card stock, then that to the inside of the card. When I look at this DSP on the inside of the card, I see a couple of things – first, a heart; second, simply a die cut piece :O)

For the envelope…

Stampin' Up! Citrus Blooms bundle for the hop

I stamped the envelope front with one of the Citrus Blooms stamps in Granny Apple Green ink. For the flap, I used a remnant from the Full of Life DSP, adhered it in place and trimmed to fit. The envelope is a Basic White envelope. And there you have it – quite a pretty and simple card & envelope. Hope you like!

Look below for how & when to order this bundle… Now it’s time to continue the hop – don’t miss a single stop :O) visit each and ever one.

Comparing Very Vanilla, Basic Beige and Basic White card stocks. Quite a contrast with Basic White, but not so much between Basic Beige and Very Vanilla. Basic Beige ios a go-between and I think you will find it used a LOT in the coming days/ weeks.
