Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals with Country Gingham 6×6 DSP

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop Group! Our challenge this time is to create something “For The Ladies/Girls” and we could create this any way we wanted. I have created a very ‘girlie’ card, feminine in other words.

Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals

I’ve used Country Gingham 6×6 DSP adhered to a Mint Macaron card base to get me started. Then a Basic White panel with the long side run through the cut & emboss machine using this adorable scallop die from Penned Flowers Dies. I stamped the floral image in Memento ink using the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, then colored it with So Saffron Blends and Soft Succulent Blends. This was die cut with the coordinating die in the Penned Flowers Dies and added to the scalloped panel with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from Hand-Penned Petals, also in Memento ink, then added the scalloped panel with dimensionals to the card front. The bow is tied with White Crinkled Seam Binding and attached with a glue dot. And finally… Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the sparkly touch.

Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals + Penned Flowers Dies

For the inside, another panel of Basic White die cut with the scalloped die from Penned Flowers Dies :O), followed by stamping the flower stem in Evening Evergreen ink and the Flowers in So Saffron ink. This was adhered to another panel of the Country Gingham 6×6 DSP, then into the inside of the card ~ and done.

Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals card & envelope

For the envelope… more of the Country Gingham 6×6 DSP adhered to the envelope flap, then run through the die cutting machine with what else – the scallop die from Penned Flowers Dies! L-O-V-E this extra feminine touch! For the front of the envelope, I did the same stamping as the inside of the card: Evening Evergreen ink for the stem and So Saffron ink for the flowers.

Each of the products used in the card (except Memento ink & Basic White card stock) is retiring as of May 1 and is on the LAST CHANCE PRODUCT list. The Country Gingham 6×6 DSP is on the Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalog list. More info about that below!

Stampin’ Up! Feel Better w/ Artistically Inked

I have a quick & easy card for you today using the fabulous bundle Artistically Inked – and a few other items too. The more I play with this set, the more I like it. The stamps are distinctive stamps, with lots of variation and oh so versatile.

Feel Better w/ Artistically inked.1

For the front of the card, I took a Basic White panel and ran it through a new embossing folder called Pretty Flowers and it is lovely. I mounted it on a Thick Basic White panel the same size for strength. The rose is stamped in Polished Pink and the leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz (on Basic White scrap) and die cut with Artistic Dies. The gold trim is from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack. The are some leaves from the pack as well and I turned them over to the white side and stamped them with one of the stamps in the Artistically Inked stamp set – again in Pear Pizzazz ink. They are the ones that look just a bit splotchy at the top of the rose. I then stamped the sentiment from Back On Your Feet stamp set on another scrap of Basic White in Pear Pizzazz ink and die cut it with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Everything is adhered with liquid glue except the rose and the sentiment banner; they are attached with dimensionals. For a final touch I added a linen thread bow with a glue dot and the fun adhesive-backed sequins are also from the Artistically Inked Ephemera Pack – and I added three. This front panel was attached to a Thick Basic White card base with dimensionals ~ and the front was done.

Feel better w/ Artistically Inked.2

For the inside I stamped the ‘splotchy’ using one of the stamps in Artistically Inked stamp set in Pear Pizzazz, stamped off once. Then I over-stamped in Polished Pink, the sentiment from Positive Thoughts stamp set, again on a Basic White panel. This was adhered directly to the inside of the card with liquid glue and the card was complete.

Feel better w/ Artistically Inked.3

For the envelope, I took that same ‘splotchy’ stamp and stamped it on the envelope flap with Polished pink ink – full strength. Before stamping, I had added sticky notes to the fold so I wouldn’t stamp on the front 🙂 The front of the envelope got a single stamp of the rose, again in Polished Pink. And voila!

Love this stamp bundle – Artistically Inked, and the new embossing folder – Pretty Flowers. Can’t wait to play with that some more.

Products for todays project are from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog. They may be found in the list below. I’ve made it easy for you to simply ‘add all to cart’. If I can help you in any way to order these items, or others, please give me a holler. As a thank you to my customers, when the order is between $50-$150 I offer a SU! item of your choice valued at $10. Remember to use MY NEW HOST CODE – 4A6RJ2TA . When the order is over $150, you still receive that free gift from me, but SU! has Stampin’ Rewards that may be used for additional products, so don’t use the host code at that time. If you have questions just let me know. If you would like to be able to order products early from catalogs AND enjoy that 20% discount, join my team now… you may do that here. We have lots of fun and are a creative bunch that encourages & supports one another.

Today is the 29th – which means… at the end of the day tomorrow (the 30th) the Last Chance products will go away. Below is the list… review it carefully … remember some bundles are carrying over, just not as bundles – and bundles are 10% less than when purchased separately.
