Card base is Thick Basic White 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4, 5 1/2 & 7″. Burnish by making the folds at valley, mountain, valley, creating a perfect M. Now let’s decorate…

Good Monday morning… how are you after the weekend? Refreshed? Hopefully you were able to do something F-U-N! So… guess what – another Cottage Wreaths card :O) this time it’s a fun fold different from what I’ve shared already – but so super easy.
The color on this seems a little wonky, but hopefully you get the gist. I’ve used Gingham Cottage DSP – it has a very country look to it to me, in Real Red. The wreath is stamped in Garden Green with the Cottage Wreaths stamp set, and as I’ve explained before, since it is a distinctive stamp, it has dimension in the stamp that shows various depths of the same color. I stamped again with the ‘twig’ wreath stamp in stamped-off Soft Suede. I die cut using the coordinating Country Wreaths Dies. I tied a bow using the Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it with a glue dot. I added the bow first so as to have a starting place for adding the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. :O) Once the wreath was created I set it aside and did all the card cuts.
There are two cuts for the card base: 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 scored at 3″ on the long side; the flap is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 scored at 1″. I used Real Red for my card base. And I like layers, so several sections have two layers. I’ll give all those dimensions at the end of this post. Let’s start by adhering the flap to the card base. Burnish all score lines. The square flap score is turned inward with the fold on right. Adhere it to the open card base, on the far right edge, equidistant from top to bottom. I don’t want the folded edge over-hanging either, so when adhering, make it even with the edge. I should have taken a picture – and didn’t :O( This is when I added most of the other panels: on the front Basic White and Real Red Gingham Cottage DSP; on the inside I used Basic White & Sweetest Christmas DSP – very cheerful. Now stamp the center Basic White panel – – – and here’s something to remember: on my card, when the flap is closed, some of the stamping shows – don’t do that. Both sentiments on the inside come from the Hope & Peace stamp set: the upper is stamped in Soft Suede ink , the lower in Real Red ink. The wonderful leaves are stamped in Garden Green ink using the Cottage Wreaths stamp set. Adhere this panel in place.
Now go back and add the fun wreath – with dimensionals of course. And you already realize it goes on the flap panel, right?!
For the envelope, I chose more of the Real Red Gingham Cottage DSP for the flap. The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede ink and comes from Cottage Wreaths stamp set.

Good Sunday morning! I’m writing this rather early on Sunday… and it isn’t daylight yet :O) I love sunrises – do you?They just start my day in a perfect place. Today’s card is another Cottage Wreaths bundle – this time as a slimline card. I’m having trouble moving on to other bundles, can you tell? This is pretty simple, but simplicity is a good thing.
The DSP really sets off the wreath, stamped in Real Red ink. The DSP is Boughs of Holly… back to the wreath. This is a distinctive stamp so it has these wonderful variations in shading that really show in the wreath. The greens behind the wreath are small die cut leaves from Garden Green scraps -there are four of these dies in the Country Wreaths Dies so it’s easy to die cut several at a time, and I did just that :O) The bow is also die cut from Garden Green card stock and is adhered with mini dimensionals. Let me show you the back of the wreath before I added it to the card front.
You can see nine small leaves attached to the wreath – I was able to do that by using Stampin’ Seal on the back of the wreath, add the leaves (looking from the front of the wreath) then add dimensionals over that. This helps hold the leaves in place even more. Back to the wreath front… I added several Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the wreaths, and a single larger jewel on the bow.
The sentiment banner comes from the Hope & Peace stamp set and was stamped in Soft Suede ink on Thick Basic White and die cut with the banner from Natural Prints Dies. Don’t you love the mix of fonts in this sentiment? The ribbon is attached with tear & Tape then dimesnionals to add to the card front . You can see I added two Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the banner. Here’s a look at the back of the banner.
Now to put the card together… card base Thick Basic White cut 7 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored on the short side at 3 1/4. The layers are both from Boughs of Holly DSP: red is 3 1/8 x 8 1/8, the Soft Suede is 2 7/8 x 7 7/8.
The sentiment comes from Cottage Wreaths stamp set and is stamped in Soft Suede ink on the Basic White panel. The frothy leaf spray is stamped in Garden Green ink – and also comes from Cottage Wreaths stamp set – in the opposite corners. Layers: Boughs of Holly DSP 6 x 3 1/8; Basic White 5 3/4 x 2 7/8.
The envelope is one of very own Stampin’ Up! Slimline Envelopes in White. I simply added a 3/8″ strip to the bottom front and nothing else. Want to take a peak at the card again?

Hello again… I have another Christmas card to share with you today, but truth be told, it wouldn’t have to be a Christmas card: change the outside sentiment and it could be ‘hello friend’. Yes, you might want to change the colors too. Maybe I should do just that??!! Here’s my card for today.
The colors in this are so soft. A bit Victorian looking as I look at it now. I started with Thick Basic White in an A2 size, then cut another panel of Basic White & ran it through the Stripes & Splatters embossing folder. This I adhered directly to the card front. Before doing any more, I die cut two wreaths using the Country Wreaths Dies: one in Gold Metallic 6×6 and one in Rose Gold Metallic 6×6. They come together in a 6×6 packet. I layered them together with dabs of glue along the center, then curled the leaves slightly with my fingers. I added several Pearl Basic Jewels. The bow… is also from the Country Wreaths Dies and uses the Pearlescent Paper that has a glorious sheen to it. This I added with a couple of dimensionals. This was layered on two panels: top is the Brushstroke in Blushing Bride (gosh it’s gorgeous… I think I’ve been hoarding it) and Rose Gold. These were adhered together and added to the card front; the wreaths were added next, centering in the almost square. I stamped the sentiment in Blushing Bride ink using the Hope & Peace stamp set from the Jul-Dec 2022 Mini Catalog, on a Basic White piece and die cut it with the Potted Succulent Dies from the 2022-2023 Annual catalog. Isn’t it fun how easy it is to co-mix Stampin’ Up! items? Once die cut this was adhered with dimensionals – and the card front was done.
For the inside I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White panel with Blushing Bride ink and another wording from the Hope & Peace stamp set. This was adhered to a slightly larger piece of Blushing Bride card stock then into the card itself – and DONE.
For the envelope… a panel of Basic White was run through the same Stripes & Splatters embossing folder and adhered to the flap & trimmed to fit. This gorgeous bow from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set was stamped in Blushing Bride ink and coated with Wink of Stella. I know you can’t see it in this photo, but it makes a nice glam & glitter :O)

This card is very fall-ish: plaid designer series paper, a wreath & leaves ~ what more could you ask for in a fall card? So here ya go…
I began by stamping the wreath on a Basic White piece in Soft Suede ink with the Cottage Wreaths stamp set, then die cut it with the Country Wreaths Dies. I took another panel of Basic White and ran it through the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder to use as a background for the wreath. I covered the front of an A2 Pumpkin Pie card stock with the Gingham Cottage DSP in Pumpkin Pie. I took a piece of Pale Papaya card stock and ran it through the Deckled Rectangles Dies, cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock just slightly larger to layer behind it. Because I wanted yet another layer (😁) I used a smaller Deckled Rectangle Die to cut a pice of the Texture Chic Specialty DSP. All of these I layered, centering each one as you see, except the Basic White embossed panel. This I offset, put dimensionals on the die cut wreath and adhered it to the card front. Then I set about the leaves.
On a baby wipe, I dropped a couple of drops of re-inkers in these colorsCrushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie & Mossy Meadow. This is so fun to watch them bleed into one another. I took the small three leaves from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and stamped it several times on a Basic White scrap, then die cut them all, choose several and attached with dimensionals to the wreath and on the card. There are actually seven of them. My last step was to tie a double bow using the Metallic Woven Ribbon in Parakeet Party and linen Thread together. These were attached with a glue dot.
For the inside of the card… I stamped a Basic White panel with this sentiment from Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Soft Suede ink. Then, remember the Pale Papaya cut for the card front? I used the remainder of that piece for the inside of the card, adhering over the Basic White framing it. My last step was to add more of the Baby Wipe stamped leaves from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set – just with a dot of liquid glue. This was added to the inside of the card & voila!
The envelope was extra easy & fun – I just used the same three leaves, stamped them on the baby wipe & onto the envelope, both on the front and all over the flap. Done! What’s extra nice is this card can be used for several things: thank you, birthday, congratulations – all because of the sentiment. Yes, I will have to send it this fall :O)
