Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest Hello Card

Hello FRIENDS! Yesterday I shared a card using the Hello Harvest Bundle from the Jul-Dec 2022 Mini Catalog. Well, I couldn’t put it down ~ so bear with me while I share another card using more of the dies and stamps. My colors were Gray Granite, Pool Party & Soft Succulent. Let’s take a look…

Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Bundle

What do you think? Does this look like a pumpkin? My hubby doesn’t think so 😩, but it does to me! Due to some experienced gardeners, pumpkins come in all colors these days. Mine began with Basic White, die cut with the Rustic Harvest Dies. I then used my Blending Brushes to add some color: a bit of Gray Granite ink, then Mango Melody ink – very lightly. These are two dies for the pumpkin body and another for the stem. I adhered all parts together with liquid glue, put dimensionals on the back and set it aside. My next step was to run a Basic White panel through the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and add color to it with Blending Brushes and Gray Granite ink then Pool Party ink. Once I had it the way I wanted, I adhered it to a slightly larger Pool Party card stock, added dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the Gray Granite card base. I pulled out this leaf stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set and Soft Succulent ink. I stamped off, then with a Sponge Dauber added a bit of Gray Granite ink on some of the leaf tips, then stamped it on a Basic White scrap. I did this three times, varying where I added the Gray Granite ink with the Sponge Dauber, then die cut each one with the leaf die from the Rustic Harvest Dies. I really like this leaf! Next I stamped the cute flower from the Hello Harvest stamp set in Memento ink and colored it with Stampin’ Blends in Mango Melody. These three flowers were die cut with the flower die in the Rustic Harvest Dies. I die cut various tendrils from Evening Evergreen card stock. Now everything was stamped, colored, and die cut, I could put the card front pieces together.

I lay the pieces out first so as to get the layering right… and in this case, I started with the leaves, then the pumpkin, flowers and finally the tendrils. Adhere in place on the card front: leaves with liquid glue; pumpkin of course is on dimensionals; flowers… one is bent so it has glue while the other two are on dimensionals; tendrils are glued as well. Final touches… a double bow made by cutting the Open Weave 3/8″ Ribbon in Soft Succulent, in half lengthwise, looping twice and securing with Simply Elegant Trim in Gold. I adhered this in place with a glue dot; and three Amber Gems from the Leaf Label and Amber Gems Combo Pack.

Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Bundle, inside

For the inside, stamp the Hello in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White standard size panel. Of course this comes from the Hello Harvest stamp set! Then stamp that sweet floral bouquet in stamped off Pool Party ink. Adhere this to a Pool Party card stock piece cut just slightly larger, then into the inside of the Gray Granite card base.

Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Bundle, card & envelope

For the envelope, again using the same leaf from the Hello Harvest stamp set, I stamped off with the Soft Succulent ink then used a Sponge Dauber and Gray Granite ink to add ink to the leaf stamp on the tips, then stamped on the front of the envelope, reinked in the same way and stamped on the flap. The card is finis! I really really like this card! What do you think? Does the main image look like a pumpkin or not?
