SU! & Freezin’ Fun!

Helloooo! Today’s card is all about winter: skiing, snowballs and snowflakes. Are YOU ready for winter in your part of the world? For here, it’s coming… 40 degrees this morning…. but still a ways off. The trees still have too many leaves on them. πŸ‚ 🍁 πŸƒ

Here’s the card…

Freezin’ Fun – #1

Isn’t this fun? This is a new bundle set for me – from my upline, called Freezin’ Fun. Thank you Mary Deatherage! And the curvy die in the bundle (Freezin’ Friends Dies) has this marvelous stitched edge to it. And of course, you can create hills for downhill skiing or sledding :O) This bunny has a delightful grin on his face, doesn’t he? So… the how to…

I took a panel of Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4 and die cut it with the stitched curvy die from the Freezin’ Friends Dies. You would not necessarily have to begin with this size, cuz you can see I only used a portion of it. The bottom section is actually 1 7/8 at its height. I then took a panel of Seaside Spray card stock (and it is 2 7/8 at its height & 5 1/4 width) and die cut it with the same die. I adhered these two together with liquid glue on a panel of Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4. Then I stamped the sentiment (Wheee!) in the same Saddle Brown and the snowflakes from the Freezin’ Fun stamp set in Seaside Spray ink.

I used Stazon ink in Saddle Brown to stamp the bunny on skiis and colored him with Stampin Blends: Just Jade, Dk Petal Pink and Lt Smokey Slate. Again, this bunny is from Freezin’ Fun stamp set. I die cut him with the Freezin’ Friends Dies, mounted him on dimensionals then onto the card.

I stamped the large tree in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it in Just Jade Stampin Blends. I highlighted the snow on the tree with Wink of Stella. I die cut the tree, again with the Freezin Friends Dies, mounted it on dimensionals and added it to the card front.

Next I stamped the snowballs in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and highlighted them with Wink of Stella. It really shows in person! Finally the sentiment… stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White and die cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies, mounted it on dimesnionals and onto the card front. The last step was adding the Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes – love, love, love these!

This panel was adhered to the card front with liquid glue and the front was done.

Freeain’ Fun – #2

The inside was easy peasy… I added a strip of Snowflake Splendor Specialty DSP near the bottom them stamped the sentiment in Seaside Spray ink. Lastly I added three more sweet Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes – and the card was complete.

Freezin’ Fun – #3

The final step was the envelope… I stamped the tree from Freezin’ Fun stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, colored it with Just Jade Stampin Blends and Wink of Stella on the snow. And that’s it! I had a lot of fun with this bundle.
