Todays card is simple and elegant and not a Christmas card, although it could be. :O) All that means is ~ change the sentiment to make it what you want. I’ve paired Feels Like Frost 6×6 DSP on the silver side and the gorgeous Pine Woods Dies together to make this card. This just could be a favorite.

Metallic papers are very difficult to photograph as the light bounces everywhere. But I think this shows up fairly well. Another favorite die are the Stitched Rectangles Dies – and I used the third largest to die cut the Whisper White card stock. Actually, I die cut the tree and the rectangle at the same time and felt rather smug and efficient about it 🙂 Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight using the Freezin’ Fun stamp set. Here’s where you can make it a Christmas/ Holiday card. I added three soft -colored Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes. Put dimensionals on the back side and set aside.
The card base is Thick Whisper White card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Feels like Frost 6×6 DSP is cut 4 x 5 1/4 and adhered directly to the card base with liquid glue. I chose this particular design because it looks like snowflakes to me. Now adhere that white pine tree panel and the card front is done.
For the inside, I had a ‘frame’ in Silver Foil already cut in my stash – same size as the Rectangle Stitched Die on the front. I adhered that to the inside of the card with a very thin line of liquid glue. I had a Silver Foil scrap and die cut the really cute tree – also from the Pine Woods Dies, and adhered it with liquid glue and the card was complete.

For the envelope, I adhered the very same Feels Like Frost DSP to the envelope flap with liquid glue. Then on the front of the envelope I stamped this adorable tree from the In The Pines stamp set in Misty Midnight. In the Pines stamp set coordinates with the Pine Woods Dies and is just a stunning set. Highly recommend it by the way…
