Wow – Dec 1 was amazing, wasn’t it? All the goodies Stampin’ Up is offering in the LAST CHANCE SALE and the CLEARANCE RACK – it’s hard to say ‘no’. PLUS there is the ability to order the Fitting Florets Collection and well – lots going on in the Stampin’ Up! world.

So here I am with a different kind of card for you… I’m working with the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and coordinating Wisteria Dies. I’ve also included some stampin and a bit of the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper. The color I’m using is Orchid Oasis, cuz, wisteria is often purple, right? And glimmer paper is well, just sparkly & fun. I’ve also done some stamping. Let’s take a look.

The card base is Thick Basic White. The next layer is the 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 Glimmer Paper in Orchid Oasis. The next layer is Basic White that I ran through the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Doesn’t it remind you of a brick wall? It does to me! Then I did some stamping and die cutting.

Stamping: In the background I hope you see the wisteria from Wisteria Wishes stamp set, in a different shade than the glimmer paper~ that’s a two-step stamp: first the background stamped in Highland Heather ink, then the detail stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink, then die cut with the Wisteria Dies. I also stamped the wisteria leaves/branch from Wisteria Wishes stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink and used a sponge dauber to add some depth with Old Olive ink. I did some additional die cutting with the Wisteria Dies: leaves/branch from Pear Pizzazz card stock & three more wisteria, this time from the 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 Glimmer Paper in Orchid Oasis. Because the Glimmer paper is graduated in shade, it provides a really nice variance/ difference in each of those particular die cuts. The leaves/ branch die cuts are adhered with liquid glue; the stamped wisteria are adhered with dimensionals; the glimmer paper wisteria are added with liquid glue. I love how many of the leaves are loose to create depth ands the glimmer paper wisteria are free-flowing at the ends – also to create depth. The sentiment banner is stamped in Highland Heather ink on a Basic White strip using the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I trimmed the end into a ‘banner tip’ then added it to the card front with dimenstionals. Final step… the three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Dots in Orchid Oasis.

For the inside, I chose another branch die cut from the Wisteria Dies and Pear Pizzazz card stock, slightly trimmed, to adhere around the stamped Highland Heather ink sentiment from Happiness Abounds stamp set. At the bottom is a scrap of the leftover 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper in Orchid Oasis.

For the envelope… a 2 1/4 x 6 strip of the 2022-2024 In Color 6×6 DSP for the envelope flap, trimmed to fit. The sentiment is from Happiness Abounds and stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink. I made a bit of a ‘bluber’ (mistake) when I stamped, so used the Gorgeous Grape Marker to create this fun design around it to look like a postage stamp 🥴 And it’s ready for mailing! Good Saturday morning… it is JUST getting daylight here in New Jersey ~ 7 AM and with the time change tonight it will still be very dark tomorrow at this point – ugh… Next week at this time, I will be attending the Stampin’ Up! Convention and will be in Jacksonville, FL with several Stampin’ Up buddies. I’ll send some photos of us having a good time. You can think about joining us next year :O) I have a cheerful card for you today using the Kraft Note Cards & envelopes and the Happiness Abounds bundle.

These Blossoming Happiness Dies dies are so fun to use. You can see the detail of the one die on the left. The other die I used for this card is the leaf die. I first stamped a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the leaf stamp from Happiness Abounds stamp set then die cut it. It’s perfect with this daisy punched using the Medium Daisy Punch. The middle of the daisy has a Daffodil Delight dot from the Glossy Dots Assortment. And the sentiments are from Happiness Abounds stamp set and I used Memento Black ink to stamp them. I appreciate the mix of fonts :O) I will be making several of these for a group that has a member moving and they wanted to write special notes. And since I’m making several, the Stamparatus will come in very handy to stamp the sentiments bing, bam, boom 😁

A couple of other tidbits about this card: I punched two daisies, adhered them together with liquid glue then added them to the card front with a single dimensional. The leaf was added with liquid glue, slipping it behind the daisy.

For the inside, I left room for comments and added just a simple floral bouquet at the bottom, stamped with Happiness Abounds stamp set & Memento ink on a Basic White panel.

I decided not to do anything to the envelope. I know – just not right, right?! But I wanted to spend time on the card itself and I think the envelopes will not be kept.
