Stampin’ Up! Sneaky Peek ’26-‘ 28 In Color Painted Patterns for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to Thursday and this fun hop! We have a theme challenger today – Clean & Simple. To me that means no die cutting, no embossing folder. I did some stamping, but not much..Let’s take a look see…,

Stampin' Up! hop. '26-'28 In Colors Clean & Simple card front. Hydrangea Hue

I created five cards using the 2026-2028 In Color Painted Patterns 12×12 DSP: Peaceful Pine, Golden Glow, Crispy Cantaloupe, Barely Blush, & Hydrangea Hue..Below is a picture of the paper pack.

I began with a Basic White card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored @ 5 1/2 – for all five cards. I sdet these aside to cretae the layers for each card: a layer of card stock cut 4 x 5 1/4, then a layer of DSP cut 3 3/4 x 5 adhered to it; a layer of Basic White cut 3 x 4 + DSP cut 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 adhered directly to it; add dimensional to the back of the Basic White panel & adhere to larger layers – lower right corner creating 1/4″ edges bottom & right. See photo.Wrap entire front pieces with ribbon coordinating with DSP – tie a knot or bow, depending on your preference. Stamp sentiment with coordinating ink color using the Fabulous Sayings stamp set (January POTM). Since this is a set of cards, I varied the words that I used. This was attached with dimensionals over the ribbon. I then added ’26-’28 In Color Dots that coordinated with the ribbon/ ink.

For the inside… each card got a 1/2 x 4″ strip of the ’26-’28 In Color Painted Patterns on the Basic White panel 4 x 5 1/4. In some cases I stamped a sentiment or images using the coordinating ink color for the particular card & the Framed All Around stamp set. It’s really hard to see the sentiment on the Barely Blush card, but it’s there!

For the envelope… following the theme of Clean & Simple, I added a ’26-’28 In Color Painted Patterns DSP to each flap (2 1/4 x 6) & trimmed it to fit. I added no stamped images to the envelope fronts. And finis… a gift set if you want to give it away – or something to use yourself! YAY! And this shows off all the new In Colors for ’26-’28 as well 😀

Just a quick reminder – today is day 2 of the Stampin’ Up! double rewards, it ends on the 17th, tomorrow,. And.. I have also doubled my Daisy Patch rewards during this time. See my Reward Page for more details…. When you purchase $50 or more product I will sendmy monthly tutorial -YAY!
