Welcome to our fabulous Thursday Blog Hop! We have a color challenge today & I have chosen as my extra color(s) – Old Olive & yes, Calypso Coral. I’m just loving playing with this new suite of products: Lovely & Beautiful – from the JAN-APR 2026 Mini Catalog + a retiring product… Botanical Textures DSP.
What I used here… Words of Beauty Dies to create the single word ‘because’ with Old Olive card stock & adhesive sheet adhered to the back; the Petals of Beauty dies to cut the two long leaf images: one in white and one in black; the double layer leaf image colored with a Blending Brush & Old Olive ink and the flower – stamped with the Petals of Beauty stamp set & die cut with the Petals of Beauty dies. The double bow is made with retiring Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack (a Sep Online Exclusive) A single Pearls of Beauty embellishment in white placed in the center of the flower.
On the inside… aa simple 5/8 x 4″ strip attached to Basic White and that to Basic Black then that added to the Old Olive card base.
For the envelope… more of the Botanical Textures DSP attached to the flap & trimmed to fit. And that’s it!!!
