Stampin’ Up! Countryside Blossoms and Timeless Arrangements

WooHoo! May 2 and the new catalog is LIVE. There are some real gems in this catalog and one of them is the Countryside Inn Suite found on pages 62-63. For today’s card I used the Countryside Blossoms Embossing folder, the Countryside Corners Dies and the coordinating Countryside Corners stamp set. I also used another new product ~ the Timeless Arrangements Bundle found on page 67. I found this combination worked really well for this particular card.

Stampin' Up! Countryside Inn Bundle

Night of Navy and Basic White are just stunning together ~ they add a note of elegance to a card and this one is no exception. I began with a Thick Basic White card base. I then ran a piece of Basic White through this amazingly beautiful Countryside Inn Embossing Folder. It created such wonderful texture and an excellent background for a card. Having run this through the machine, I re-grouped and came up with a new plan… this was too pretty to cover up the way I had planned. I pulled out the new Timeless Arrangements bundle and die cut a couple of items from Basic White. I went back to the Countryside Corners stamp set and inked up this large single stamp in Night of Navy ink, then die cut the very center portion from it with the appropriate die. I stamped the sentiment on this rectangular piece in Night of Navy ink using the Timeless Arrangements stamp set. I adhered the die cut pieces from the Timeless Arrangements dies to the back of this rectangle, then added dimensionals to the back and attached it to the embossed panel. This embossed panel was adhered to a Night of Navy just slightly larger, then with dimensionals I added it to the card base.

Stampin' Up! Countryside Inn, inside card

For the inside… I wanted to carry out the Night of Navy theme and added a panel to the inside of the card. Since the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was already on my desk, I inked the single flower in Night of Navy ink and stamped it on a Basic White panel and on the envelope front. This was attached to the inside of the card and nearly complete.

I added a strip of the Countryside Inn DSP to the envelope flap, trimmed it to fit and one & done!

Love this… but know this could be done in a variety of colors: for contrast… instead of Night of Navy, the new Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel or Pretty Peacock; Moody Mauve might be a nice contrast or the Copper Clay.
