Stampin’ Up! Well-Suited DSP

WooHoo! it’s Saturday… do you have something special planned? I certainly hope that whatever you have going on – is something you enjoy doing. It is supposed to be sunny here today and in the 60’s. Perhaps I can get outside and do some cleaning of flower beds and mulch. 🙂 Gardening is one of my favorite things but I confess, it is taking me longer than it used to. 😦

Today’s card is a quickie, showing off some of the Well-Suited DSP which is perfect for a masculine card – no frills either.

Well-Suited DSP Congratulations

  • Begin with a card base of Smoky Slate card stock.
  • Adhere a layer of Well-Suited DSP to fit the entire front of the card, with liquid glue or Stampin’ Seal
  • Cut another panel of the Well-Suited DSP that coordinates with the card front, with Stitched Rectangles Dies and add it to the card with dimensionals
  • Cut yet another coordinating panel of the Well-Suited DSP and adhere with liquid glue
  • Stamp the sentiment from A Grand Kid stamp set on a Basic White panel using Night of Navy ink. Die cut using Tasteful Labels Dies. (These are such great dies!)
  • Adhere this sentiment panel to the card front with dimensionals.
  • Add Metallic Pearls in silver for a finishing touch
Well-Suited DSP Congratulations

For the inside I simply took a 1/2 x 4 strip of Well-Suited DSP and added to the side of a Basic White panel, adhered the panel to the inside and the card was DONE! The folks who ordered this card didn’t want a sentiment inside so that made it easy.

Well-Suited DSP Congratulations

For the envelope, in keeping with the request for something simple, I added more Well-Suited DSSP to the envelope flap and voila! This kind of card could so easily be for a birthday or a job well done – and it’s masculine! It really looks quite elegant in person.

Products for todays project are from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog which ends May 3, and from the Jan-June Mini Catalog. They may be found in the list below. I’ve made it easy for you to simply ‘add all to cart’. 😉 If I can help you in any way to order these items, or others, please give me a holler. As a thank you to my customers, when the order is between $50-$150 I offer a SU! item of your choice valued at $10. Remember to use MY CURRENT HOST CODE – 2HWX9GEA – good Apr 16-30 . When the order is over $150, you still receive that free gift from me, but SU! has Stampin’ Rewards that may be used for additional products, so don’t use the host code at that time.
