SU! Monday Fun

This time of year is all about autumn/ fall/ leaves/ shades of oranges and greensand yellows. Today’s card is no exception…

Gilded Autumn – #1

Isn’t this gorgeous? And the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper did most of the work 🙂 For extra embellishing I used the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper from the Forever Greenery Suite AND the ever shiny Artistry Blooms Adhesive-backed Gems. I also used the Brushed Metallic paper for the background which adds extra sparkle.

Here’s the step by step:

  • I chose two coordinating card stocks from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP and cut them equally (card cuts are listed at the end of this post)
  • Adhere to the Brushed Metallic card stock (these come in bronze, copper & gold – I chose the copper)
  • Cut a banner using the Detailed Bands Dies and another piece of the Copper Brushed Metallic Paper
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Autumn Greetings stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Die cut with the oval from the Detailed Bands Dies.
  • Adhere the Very Vanilla oval to the Brushed Metallic panel using Stampin Plus.
  • Put dimensionals on the back of this sentiment banner and adhere, centered, to the card front.
  • I slipped various leaves from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Paper behind the banner, adhering with liquid glue.
  • Attach three Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Gems to the sentiment.
  • Attached this entire panel to a Thick Very Vanilla card base – and voila!
Gilded Autumn, inside – #2

For the inside…

  • Adhere a panel of Mint Macaron card stock to the card inside.
  • On a panel of Very vanilla card stock, stamp the leaves from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set: one in Crumb Cake ink, the other two in Early Espresso ink. Using the Light Crumb Cake Stampin Blend, color the Crumb Cake leaves.
  • Adhere this to the Mint Macaron with liquid glue and the card is complete 😏
Gilded Autumn – #3

The envelope…

  • I had some scraps of the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP that coordinated – adhered the various strips with liquid glue – and DONE!
Gilded Autumn – #4
