Good morning! It’s a Thursday – and you know what that means… a blog hop with the Happy Inkin’ Krew. I’ve chosen to use some brand new products from the September – December Mini Catalog… just love this moose! And we have a sketch challenge today.

Isn’t the look on this moose face one of complete bliss and happiness? I know it isn’t real – and you know that too, but it still puts a mile on my face and we all need something to smile about. :O)The card base is Cherry cobbler 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The checkered paper is Regal Distressed Patterns SDSP in Cherry Cobbler 4 x 5 1/4 and layered on Shaded Spruce 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and attached to the card front with dimensionals. The moose (from Christmas Friends stamp set) is stamped in Memento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, SU 300, SU 500, Ivory and Light Smoky Slate on the skate blades (Wink of Stella added there as well). Once stamped & colored I used the circle from the Christmas Friends dies & die cut the moose in the circle, then die cut the moose with the matching die from that circle. I stamped the pine ‘spray’ three times on the circle in Shaded Spruce ink. I die cut the stars using the Christmas Friends dies and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. Next I used the Peaceful Season Dies to create this great banner behind the moose, trimmed it at one end at an angle to match the sketch challenge and slipped this beautiful Satin Sheer Ribbon in Shaded Spruce through each end, trimming it as shown. I adhered the ribbon to the back of the banner with Seal+, then added the left portion of the banner (the part behind the circle with Stampin’ Seal .n I adhered the circle with dimensionals, then the mosse also with dimensionals – then the right portion of the banner with Stampin’ Sesal. Did you get all that? Or was it kind of confusing?! You can see a sentiment on the right portion of the banner – in Shaded Spruce ink from the Christmas Friends stamp set prior to attaching it to the card front. As a final touch – these shiny Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems.

On the inside, another piece of Shaded Spruce 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 adhered to the inside of the card. On a panel of Basic White 4 x 5 1/4, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink from Christmas Friends stamp set and the skates in Memento ink from Sophisticated Skates. All the products tom make this card are in the new 2024 Sep-Dec Mini Catalog and available Sep 4. If you do NOT have a demonstrator (thus no catalog) connect with me. I can remedy that :O) My customer catalogs are in the mail and should be arriving today! YAY… happy perusing that new catalog and making your wish list.
